LAST EXAM WAS HORRIBLE.SPECIALLY TRUE AND FALSE QUESTION ON LOVE WITHDRAW, POWER, ETC.I HOPE HE DROP THIS 5 QUESTIONS.THE WHOLE CLASS FELT THE SAME.

Horrible exam on 11/22/04.Need to go over with the class on the examples of power, love withdrawn ,etc. I knew the concept, but just the way he presented was not clear.I discuss them with my fellow students and they all felt the same way.

Mr. Many is an Excellent professor; however, his tests (which are three for the complete semester) are kind of trick. He wants you to think and apply what you learned to life. Don?t get me wrong, he is an excellent professor but in order to get an ?A? you need to read a lot or pay attention of what he says in class.

make sure you know all the notes he gives. and ask him for examples the second test is verrrrry tricky the one that can lower ur grade. remember the schedules for reinforcement ask for examples. the associate conditioning cs, cr, ucs, ucr. that why he gives extra credit b/c the 2nd test SUCKS you really need to know or u will be LOSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

I don?t why anyone would categorize Mr. Garcia as average. You have to be completely handicap to do that, or plain lazy! He is a great teacher with amazing professionalism. Had him once a week and he would always let us out at least an hour early. Didint use the book just took notes on everything he put on the board. Only three tests so you cant really do bad on any of them because it will affect your grade, just take notes and study

I took this class during the evening once a week, so class was very long. He, however, makes this class fun and interesting and somehow manages to keep 95% of the class awake for over 2 hrs of continuous lecture. We did not use the book and he provided all the power points and exam reviews way ahead of time so we could prepare well for the exams.

Good professor! This class was extremely easy. There were only 3 tests; each one was worth 110 points. No textbook, no quizzes! All we had to do was to study from two to three PP per test. Regardless, Prof. Garcia is very smart and teaches very well. He just goes to the point, which doesn't go too deep. I'd recommend him.

He is an amazing professor! He is really nice and teaches SO clearly. Your grade will be based on 5 exams or so, but the exams are on topics you cover to a certain point. Ex. Exam 5 won't ask about material in Exam 1. Attendance isn't mandatory, but it's recommended since he adds information to the power points and hand outs he emails you.

Straight forward class, straight forward professor. Lectures are long but VERY clear and somewhat interesting. No quizzes no homework no papers. Just 3 test that are NOT cumulative. Gives test review at least a week in advance. Do the reviews and you will pass the test that simple. Each test has built in extra credit and is worth more that 100pts

The best professor I've had his classes are NOT boring at ALL you have to make sure you attend to each class. Mr. Garcia is an awesome teacher but I wouldn't recommend to take him in an afternoon class since the lecture is heavy and you'll need to take notes. He's reachable, very polite and super respectful. The professor is knowledgeable and respected, I took him back in Fall 2017. His lectures may not be fascinating to ALL students but he definitely tries to make it as okay as he can. He sometimes allowed us to leave class early and I believe the only assignments were 2 quizzes and 2 exams. He sends the powerpoints online, good person overall.

I have taken this professor for DEP2000 & PHY2012, both classes super easy; 3 exams each and he gives reviews. Super nice and caring professor highly recommended. Lecture are kind of heavy cause there's a lot of reading and memorizing to do, but if you study from the reviews you will be fine.

This Professor can teach in a way that leaves no room for confusion. His lectures are very interesting and you learn so much just from attending class. He gives reviews for his 3 tests which are not difficult, but you definitely won't pass if you don't bother trying because they are info heavy. I really recommend him!

I have taken two classes with Professor Garcia: CLP 1006 and PSY 2012. The same structure for both classes. No quizzes, no homeworks, no Blackboard. There are three tests but he provides study guides. A lot of extra credit opportunities. However, if you want to get an A you should work for it. The best MDC professor so far, a real gem!!!

To sum up: BEST PROFESSOR EVER!!! Professor Garcia treats students like human beings and like adults who have lives outside the classroom. High quality lectures! Very clear and detailed explanations! Great time management! He takes the time to answer your questions during and after class. He replies the emails. Effective and efficient!

Best professor ever!!! I have taken him for two classes Psy 2012 and DEP 2000, and he has been so far the best professor I've ever had. He explains very well and knows the material, you will never get bored in his classes. He gives you reviews for the tests and he also gives 10 points extra credit in each test. I strongly recommend him!!

Great professor

hes very blunt. Doesnt require text book ,does PowerPoints. The powerpoint he gives are on the test. No surprises ,no homework. Explains everything, until everyone understands. Difficult to fail his class. Only 3 exams and multiple choice,he makes it very clear what will be on the test and gives reviews. Gives extra credit. RECOMMEND TO EVERYONE!

Amazing professor, if you study the power points He give you, easy A. His grade criteria is great. Very humble person. I definitely recommend him.

I just want to say that i absolutely loved this class!! Mr. Garcia is amazing. While taking his class I didn't fell like i was in school at all. I just love the way he teaches, he is so calming and knows his material. We has 3 tests. We didn't need a book, he does lectures through Power Point. I would take any of his classes in a heart beat!

Professor Garcia's AWESOME! You don't really need the textbook as he uses PowerPoints slides. He emails the PowerPoints for you to print & study. He prepares & provides a test guide. Only 3 tests of 25 questions each. If you pay attention & study the test guide, you will pass. Allows make-up exam. He explains everything at beginning of the course.

Very good teacher ! His lectures are long but they are filled with a lot of information. If you come to class and dont miss lectures you would have to put minimum effort at home to get an A. He explains everything very well and detailed and he makes sure everyone understands.

The best teacher of all time! I love his class and it is very interesting! 4 exams, you just have to study the guide that he gives you and you will pass!

I couldn't have asked for a better professor. His lectures were very informative and amazing. He really does the most to help you out. Especially during this whole COVID situation, he was very understanding and helpful. He really cares for his students and his reviews include everything that will be on the test. He is amazing, you just have to read the PPWs and the chp pages he assigned, then a quiz of 10 questions (literally what you read), and you'll be good. Every 2 or 3 weeks you'll have an easy discussion board. He never attends class, I have never seen him in person, he just posts PPWs and Chp pages. His reminders are a weekly email. 3 easy Exams.

I took 2 classes with him. Honestly one of the best teachers at MDC. Passed both classes with an A. Book is helpful but not needed he makes PowerPoints that break things down. Courses based on 10 quizzes, 5 discussions and 3 exams. If you're close to the next grade at the end of semester he rounds up. 100% recommend, amazing professor.

Very clear class and instructions. There were weekly quizzes of 10 questions and exams of about 40 questions and that's where your grade comes from. No essays or discussions. Professor provided ppt for the lectures, although the book is necessary for complete information. Emails were addressed fast, within hours. Taking him again for diff class.

This is my favorite class in Miami-dade. My favorite book I've read thus far and I can't believe I wasn't exposed to the world of positive psychology before. Frankly, I continuously take notes on the book because I love it soo much. 10 quizzes and 2 exams. This is a fairly easy class, but you need to read the book. Don't slack.

AMAZING. I took him for four classes in one semester. Love his teaching method: very clear powerpoints followed by 10 question quizzes. No proctored exams, and provides powerpoints for his exams.

Such an amazing professor can not recommend him enough! He gives PowerPoint which he goes over in class and provides clear instruction and examples. You do need to get the book for extra material that isn't covered on the PPTs. His quizzes and exams are not proctored and are based on exactly what's covered in class, no surprises. Highly recommend!

Dr. Garcia was an amazing & super nice professor. The class only has 10 quizzes & 3 exams. If you go over the PowerPoint & listen in class youll pass this class no problem. You do have to read the book to study for quizzes & exams, not everything is in the PowerPoint. The only thing bad is that his quizzes & exams are timed, but I loved his class.

Extremely knowledgeable in his field one of the best professors at MDC with lots of experience. Excellent human being too. The class was easy and very interesting.

This professor was excellent, and the lectures were not boring. This was an MDC Live class. In total, 11 quizzes and three non-proctored exams, he does provide a study guide for all exams.

He definitely knows the material and is passionate about it. There are weekly quizzes that are based on the PP, and three exams (there is a study guide) but it's all VERY EASY. If you have questions, you can ask and he'll answer without problems. Take this class because you will actually learn and pass.

The class is super easy. The professor is the best, his lectures and notes are understandable. When you take the quizzes and exams, all of what he has taught is there in the lectures and notes. Super caring and the way he teaches is amazing! He answers his emails on time as well.

Sweetest professor ever. Very easy A. Lectures are mandatory, however if you miss a couple it is totally okay. During lectures he just reads the textbook and explains everything. Very easy assignments and not long at all. Would take again!

He is a very sweet professor and really loves what he does. The class consists of cengage and 3 exams throughout, but if you miss one, he was nice enough and opened up all the exams toward the end of the semester.

The professor is engaging and makes the material easy to understand. While the quizzes and exams can be challenging, using resources like the textbook and Unstuck ai for study prep can really help. Overall, a rewarding class if you stay on top of the work.

Easy online class! His lectures aren't that long honestly and you don't have to really talk on zoom you can if you want to participate or ask questions but he's not strict on it. Such a good class he's very nice, I really recommend him!

I GOT A 99% IN THIS CLASS. IT WAS AN EASY A!!! He is the sweetest teacher. The online zooms are not long at all. The material is easy in itself and nothing was proctored so you really cant fail. I will be taking him next semester for another class. TAKE HIS CLASS!! YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT.

I definitely recommend to take his course if you want to get an easy A. Unlimited attempts for assignments and two attempts for quizzes. Not too much work and no proctored exams. Also he is super nice and caring.

I definitely recommend to take his class. He is so caring and understanding. There are a few quizzes, a midterm and a final exam, but none of them are proctored, and they are all very easy. Camera use and participation are not required. Overall I think it's pretty easy to get an A.

Assignments were easy and could be done on your own ahead of time. Lectures consist of reading and explaining the textbook which helps if you don't understand the material. Quizzes were all simple as well.
