I enjoyed this class. He makes it fun and cracks alot of jokes. As long as you do class requirments and study it works out great!

I can see how you would find this class boring. The trick is to PARTICIPATE. He likes for the student to read the chapters BEFORE class and be able to answer him. His outline makes the class relatively easy to follow, and I think it's a great idea. I did the above and received an A.

The outline he hands out for every chapter is helpful. Be ready to memorize everything in the outline... He does not give the test back unless you go to his office.

I think he is a really good teacher. However, you must read through the outline for homework and go over the required reading. Also be sure to do any extra credit when he hands it out.While in class when called on be sure to answer,this will also go down for extra points toward your test grade.

I studied for all my tests. I was confident on test day that I would get at least a "B", but when I got my test that was not the case. Daniels is an excellent person and very helpful, but there is too much information consume in his class. I'm not the only one; about 70% of my class is boardline C D

I can't believe you people that find this class hard. It's so easy the outline he gives you shows you exactly what and where (page)to study. I basically went through the book in class following Mr. D's outline, then read the chapter later. It's so easy.

Hes not as bad as most make him out to be. If you ask him questions and go to his office I few times to show him your trying hes accually really nice... This class does require alot of studing though because it is so much material and he talks very fast!

Ms, Daniels is a very good teacher, yes it's alot of material, but if you study your objectives, you will do fine. IT's those who don't come to class and study are the one's who will not pass. She is very helpful. Yes, i was scared at first, but i am so glad i took her class, because i am very confident i will pass MAT1033. She's a good teacher!

Make sure you attend class, he takes attendence. Test questions come from outline he gives you and questons at the end of every chapter. However, he does drop your lowest test grade. I took him in the summer and got a B with the help of extra credit.

People who can't get Bs or better in this class aren't trying. He practically gives you everything you need to know in his outlines. Is the lecture part of class boring? A little, but read the chapters and answer the questions he asks. All I did was follow the outline in class and I was able to answer his questions.

I had this professor over a decade ago. He was helpful, interesting, and the best professor at TCC. He knows his information. However, you will need to study hard and ask questions. Things that students should do anyway. Awesome instructor, please take this person if you can.

I was freaking over his first test but once I knew how he worded them and what he was looking for, I made an A on all the rest. If you can't READ THE CHAPTER and FOLLOW AN OUTLINE, then you must be borderline retarded and have NO BUSINESS IN COLLEGE. I see how the grammar and spelling errors you complainers have. How did you get into college?

Mr. Daniels is very organized with his outline.I always cheated on Bio in H.S.well and it's not my major but the outlines helped a lot and were very organized.I only studied the night before the test and I came out with a B.I think Biology is boring Science is Boring subject but if i can get a B, with a little effort, i'd say he's worth trying.

This man is very funny. He likes to call on students out of the blue if no one is paying him any attention. Overall he is a very coool teacher and I would take him for another Science course if I had to take another one.

his class is broken down to benefit the students. he takes attendance everyday and ordered the notes so that its easier to understand..he gives you a study guide every unit we cover and from that we have the exams. he really cares about his students and does beyond what he's required for the students.

these people are crazy he is an amazing teacher!! if you just take extra notes on your outlines in the book, you will get an A. SO easy if you just read! he explains everything very well and makes everything easy to learn.

He presents material in a way that is easy to understand. Makes sure that everyone is caught up and is willing to help outside of class to explain things. Tests are easy as long as you study and use the book. You print an outline out at the beginning of each section, make sure you bring it to class because it makes notes a breeze. Friendly guy.

He is a very difficult teacher to understand. If you are are lazy or looking for an easy A, please do not take his class. You really have to adapt to his teaching methods and read alot or you will fail. His test are somewhat confusing but if u study in advance, you will pass.

I took his class as a freshman and it was really fast pace. If you print out his study guides and come to class and pay attetion you will be fine. I made Cs on all of his tests including the final but he gives 10 points extra credit throughtout the enitre year so that pushed me up to a B. He definetly knows his stuff thoug

If you miss more than three classes, you must go to his office and explain why you've been out. You can feed him a bogus excuse or whatever, but as long as you talk to him you can miss as many classes as you please and he won't drop you. All in all, a very fun and moderately easy class.

All in all I would say that he is a very good teacher. He provides a chapter outline for each exam which makes taking notes and studying a lot easier because it appears on the tests. Honestly, HE KNOWS EXACTLY WHAT HE IS TALKING ABOUT! He makes science interesting, even though that's my worst subject. He isn't mean, but he doesn't tolerate any mess

He is a funny guy. He makes the class fun to attend. I definetly recommend taking his class. If you take notes every class and review the topics on the outline in the book you'll do fine. He has five exams, and one final exam. he lets you drop your lowest grade out of the five exams. There is no homework, just studying and E.C. opportunities.

He is VERY fair and makes the class interesting. Extra credit is generous. He is passionate about biology and tries to make it fun. Just use the outline and take notes, then actually study them, and it is an easy A. The reason he doesn't follow the book by each chapter will start to make sense if you pay attention. You will also appreciate it!

He isn't anything special that for sure. Sits there and reads everything from a powerpoint. I showed up on the test days, and thats it. Studied from the book. The grading is pretty easy, there are five tests and a final all worth 100 points and you get to drop the lowest test grade for a total of 500 points. So you can bomb one test and be fine.

WOW ok.... 1st of all, the people that say he's a bad teacher are just dumb people plain and simple. You probably could just read and look at the outline and still get an A in the class. He is ALWAYS willing to help you, breaks the material down so a 3rd grader could understand, and above all he's an awesome guy! My favorite teacher at TCC byfar

Really good teacher, plenty of extra credit.I enjoyed going to class and that rare. so far is one of the best teachers ive had at tcc.

mr daniels seems hard at first..but contrary to what you read you can easily get a B or an A...he has no homework only 5 tests 1 final that is the same weight of the tests & drops the lowest test score..offers 10 points extra credit that he adds to your grade so if you have a 70 add those 10 points u get a B.the extra credit is simple! he is corny

whoever is saying he doesnt offer extra credit is a bold faced lie its even on the syllabus...you prbly never showed up to earn any EC...or even read it...ill admit i struggled but he always said come to office and he showed exactly where the answer was on our outlines he printed out..ive been outta high school 16yrs and got a B!

You really need to go to class everyday. Whoever says that he is a bad teacher is probably one of those slackers that never come to class. If you come to class, take notes, and ask questions when you have them you'll do fine. I hate biology, and I got a B. Seriously, I would definitely recommend taking him if your a hard worker.

He is such a great teacher and loves what he does. Simply print out the guidelines and write simple notes in the margin and study it, you have at least a B in the class. He is such a nice guy and makes a lot of jokes. I would recommend him to anyone. Oh, and he drops one test grade if you take all 5.

He is a nice guy, offers extra credit and is willing to help. However he isn't that clear when he speaks because he talks fast and confuses himself at times. For the tests he simply says "read the chapters, look at the outline, look at the tables, do the learning outcomes, and the chapter quizzes"...not very helpful and its a lot to study!!!

I am surprised at the low ratings for this prof. He is really a good teacher, if you pay attention & take good notes. Just study for the exams & it is an easy class! He is very helpful, offers extra credit & his lectures are interesting. He is clear in his speech & is the content is very understandable. It is an easy "A" if you prepare for exams.

He is a very nice teacher and willing to work with every student. he gives alot of extra credit. go to class every day and take good notes, use the outline. make sure to study very hard for the tests though. he is funny and classes are interesting

He is a very nice teacher. He knows his material and he teaches well. I would recommend him to anyone. He makes jokes but they aren't always funny. He gives outlines for every unit. Tests are kind of tough; be prepared to study.

Mr Daniels is a very nice man. He uses all of his time wisely and if you attend class regularly you won't be surprised by the different quizzes he assigns. He has an outline for every unit test. One thing to know is that there are things on the test that are not on the outline. You nerd the book to do really well on the tests.

This class is no joke. He give 6 tests the whole semester and drops the lowest test score. If u do the extra credit that's 11 points. So if u have 69% and did all the extra credit you'd have a B in the class. He is pretty helpful if you go to his office. The class is hard as hell..i wouldnt take the class again.if u like science this will be ya boy
