I had him for both English classes and he was very easy in both. You really don't have to read any books and you only have class once a week for only 30 minutes. The other day is when he will help a student individually.

Class is only once a week, and one of the most awesome and lenient teachers EVER. Only 1 or 2 papers throughout the semester, and the rest are due at the end. Very nice, very funny, loves the subject. Take him if you can even get into his class!

this professor is absolutely amazing! my favorite english professor ever! his class is great & you will actually WANT to go to class because it's so interesting. only 2 papers the whole semester, super chill class & you actually LEARN, not only about lit but about all sorts of stuff. definetely take this class, if you can get in!

this teacher is the best. slack, cool, short classes, interesting, plus he helps you whenever you need! the grades are 2 major papers, and 8 simple 1-page assignments, everything due at the end of the semester except one of the major papers.

He has to be the best English professor at FIU. He teaches about life and real life situations. You have one narrative paper and one research paper to do, plus a few portfolio assignments that are short and really easy. Do what you have to do to take him, its definately worth it and I guarantee you won't regret it. Good Luck! =)A+

I got an A!!! I thought his class was really easy. Twom major papers and a portfolio with 5 or 6 one or two-page essays. Do not wait until the last minute to do the portfolio!!We also had to read a book. He won't waste your time. A++ Some people got Bs but he said no one got a C.

Cool Guy. Easy class and is really funny. Tells jokes and fools around. Talks more about what hes interested in than literary analysis. No tests at all not even midterm or final. Just like 5 essays and one for a novel you have to read but they are all easy and he doesnt grade hard. I really reccomend his class for everyone who needs the credit

I HATE english but I think i got an A in this class. I missed an entire month and I didnt miss nething! I hate reading/writing, so if ur like me, u defn want this dude! We had ONE project for the sem. (a story) and we got to group up to do it. He cancels class A LOT. Hes also really funny. He didnt even show up for the 1st day, so we all went home.

Super Slack and AWESOME PROFESSOR!! He is a sweetheart and always there to help. He's got a disability, but that does not stop him from teaching what he loves and learning more. I would def recommend this class to anyone! Class after the second week is only once a week and for less than 30 minutes! Straight to point, and 6-7 mini 2 page essays

His lectures are awsome. He only lectures 3x anyways and you only have to 3 essays and a final paper. its all do at the end of the semester tho so its no pressure. he can be a bit rude sometimes and curse out some kids but then again he has to in order to get the classes respect. Very smart man and he even gives u his # in case u need help. EASY!!!

Grade is made up of several short papers. He is a nice guy. He cancels class sometimes. There is no need to buy a book. It's a really easy class.

His class are rarely long mostly 10-15 minuts long. You Have mini assingments and he practically tells you what he wants you to do. You turn in the two assingments one essay and a porfotlio of the essays and mini assingments he gives you. He grades easy because he wants all his studentns to pass. He is great take it if you can actually find a spot.

Best teacher i have ever had. At first he came off as strict and mean, but he was actually very nice. We barely ever went to class and he was a very easy grader. Always there to help out students with whatever they needed. I would recomend him to everybody.

Prof. Duasso is awesomely fabulous, he rocks! You barely go to class and when you do class is super short. the time i spent on one paper for enc1101 was the time i spent on this entire course this semester, and I got an A. We had 2 serious papers and the rest of the class consisted of journal entries. This class is ideal for slackers and those who do not like writing. If you are an english major and want to become a better writer, i do not recommend him

This is probably the BEST English Professor i've ever had!. While attendance is "mandatory," if you for some can't make it one day, he doesn't really notice. He'll give Friday's off every now and then. DO THE PAPERS ON TIME!!!! and you'll get an A! (if you dont do them you'll fail.) AWESOME PROFESSOR! THIS PROFESSOR IS HOT!

This professor is amazing and very inspiring. Explains everything really well and cares about his students. Really great guy snd very funny as well. He used to make my mornings! Textbooks were not used at all. Do whatever it takes to take his class, you won't regret it and like I said, it is very inspiring.

Although he is blind, he has to be the most inspiring, enthusiastic, and passionate teacher I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. TAKE HIM! I had Professor Duasso back in my first fall semester over at FIU for ENC 1102 and he is simply amazing. At first you feel kind of awkward because of his disability but after a week or so you get completely comfortable. He is a great Professor and does his best to make sure you succeed and he also hates quite classes.

An AMAZING English professor, quite frankly the best at FIU. He will detail you everything he wants for the papers and how it is structured. His lectures are very entertaining and filled with lots of information that is good to know not just for English class, but for the future. He is a true inspiration. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

BEST English professor at FIU/MDC. Goes by the syllabus. His lectures are clear and straight to the point. He likes to bother students but in a friendly way. On his papers, he tells you EXACTLY what he wants. He is always willing to help. I passed with an A. Not a tough grader, but he does expect you to do all the assignments. 110% recommend.

Duasso is an excellent professor he will guide you through your paper in a way that even the people who are not skilled at writing papers will understand.If you have the choice definitely take this class you will pass as long as you do not disrespect him by showing up extremely late or not going to class.
