I enjoyed this class very much, it is a lot of info to take in. I took her class during summer so it went by fast. Don't take this class if you aren't going to go every day. I took PHIL1301 with Ms Gomez, online, 8 week course. It is a really easy, even for a shorter class. All you have to do is READ.. the entire book. Submit 3 discussions--explaining your thoughts and beliefs. You take 2 tests, that are both very easy. She may be different in class, but online it is a breeze. Very easy A if you put in the work.

I took her for an online class, shes very clear as to what she expects, as long as you follow directions and read, you will get a good grade.

Class was pretty easy. A lot of extra credit was given. And participation is part of your grade. There is a midterm paper that isn't too bad, and the final was multiple choice and was super easy if you paid attention during class.

i took her summer only class for 4 weeks it was the easiest class i ever took. She gives you enough time to do the discussions. Very easy summer class. Only 3 discussions, one mid term, and the final. The final and the mid term you can take them twice same questions. no reason to fail her class

Easiest class in the world. Took this class over summer online. 2 discussions, 1 essay, 4 reading quizzes.... probably put in a total of 2-3 hours total into the class and came out with an A with flying colors. It is a joke.

Professor Gomez is one of the best professors that I have had in my entire college career, she is very inspirational and very influential. She is very involved with the community through the philosophy club by participating in community service and helping the most vulnerable. She is very fair and maintains an academic college experience for all.

Great profesor At firts I thought i would hate philosophy but her lectures made it easy for me to understand and like the topics of the lectures. She gives plenty of extra credit . You have a research paper but she will help review it few times and answer any question you have so thay u get a good grate on it.

Mrs. Gomez is a phenominal instructor. She has passion and charisma and real world knowledge about how to take philosophy outside of the classroom to be implemented in the lives of students. No question is too simple or complex for her to cover. She creates a welcomed learning environment that is challenging and rare in higher level education.

I always enjoyed finding different ways of thinking or viewing something in a different perspective, but after finishing PHIL 1301 it really altered the way i see life. Ms. Gomez will show you a fun and interesting way to introduce you to philosophy and how it pertains to pretty much anything. I can truly say her classes are the best I have taken.

The best thing I learned from this professor is the definition of cyberstalking and harassment. Cyberstalking is a criminal offense. It is the use of the Internet or other electronic means to stalk or harass an individual. In Texas it is punishable with jail time, especially when the evidence keeps accumulating.

Took her philosophy of religion class. It was fun; however, I feel I did not learn anything new. Class is once a week and it is dismissed early, so very little content is covered. Also, if you're interested in a logical approach to religion, prepare to be disappointed. There's a decent amount of homework and extra credit.

Ms. Gomez is one professor that definitely knows her stuff. Attendance matters as it affects your grade, homework after every class, lots of reading from the textbook, oral presentations, one major essay which she grades fairly, lots of extra credit. She's not only an incredible professor but a beautiful human being, as well. Definitely recommend.

I took professor Gomez for philosophy of religion and it was amazing I learned a lot of religion and I would recommend her for all the philosophy courses. Amazing teacher.

So much to say and not enough space. All of her classes are always incredibly entertaining and full of great information. I am by no means a philosophy student, rather a biologist. I have grown fond of philosophy because of her teaching methods, thats why I have taken more than one class with her. Instructors like her are very hard to find.

I had Mrs Gomez for the Academic Cooperation course, she was an amazing teacher and was always available in case I needed anything. This class had a big focus on analyzing social issues which broadened my own thoughts on just about every topic discussed. If possible I would love to take this class again or to even see future projects.

The Academic Cooperative designed by Professor Gomez is one of a kind and one that I am glad to have taken. The biggest plus is it betters your ability to examine social issues and use philosophy to figure out practical solutions on said issues. One of the best philosophy classes that should be part of the core curriculum for aspiring philosophers.

I took Ethics with Professor Gomez in a summer class. I would take another class with her, assignments and discussions are simple and easy.

Professor Gomez was a huge motivation for me. I loved her method of teaching. She really helped me capture what she was teaching versus the textbook. Be prepared to think critically.

She only gives like 8 or 9 assignments total throughout the semester and most of her quizzes are found on quizlet. Beware for due dates and times because most professors make assignments due at 11:59pm but she made some tests and discussions due on a random Tuesday at noon.

She teaches what needs to be learned and no more. Unlike Isaac Ceniceros, who goes over unnecessary things, making the class long, difficult, and boring. Only 2 discussions and 4 quizzes, which you can use other sources (LockDown not required). The book is awful, I recommend watching youtube videos instead to understand better.

I took the 5-week summer class, which included 2 discussions, a 2-page essay, and 4 quizzes (20 questions). The quizzes can be found on quizlet. No need to buy the book. Super easy class
