Dr. Trani is a great Teacher. She will work with you and stay after class if you have questions. She is strict on cheating. I made 100's on my lab reports(It;s not hard, just follow her instructions) You can go to her office and get help on hw or reports. Im not big into science but you can easily get an A in this class. I would taker her!
she is good but very hard to understand because she goes too fast. i get confused a lot in the classroom.
The class is horribly structured, most of the labs have nothing to do with the lecture. You don't learn titration, spectrometer, ect. in the lecture but are expected to know them. This isn't the teachers fault but she's a new teacher and won't hesitate to fail you. If you miss one class you automatically get -5 from your TOTAL grade. Ridiculous
Dr. T is a great professor and I highly recommend her. If you do not understand something she is more than willing to help you out.
I agree! Her grading structure is not fair. if you miss one class you get a -5 and cant make up any labs. The labs don't follow the lecture but again I agree it's not her fault. She is Very helpful and nice. Not hard at all- I just hate that there is not flexibility in the grading. If you miss a lab you get a zero AND get a -5 from overall grade.
Excellent chemistry professor, very helpful, lot of office hours.
Professor Trani is not a great teacher, but she tries. She is a new professor and needs to learn how to REACH students. She needs to understnd that SHE is not the only ohe listening. Waaaay too much work. Chemistry isn't everybody's world, but it is important nevertheless. Recommend full time teachers also. Have more time and concern
Im sorry Ms. Trani is nice... but she is not the best teacher. It is common for her to talk over her students head. She tries.. but be prepared to spend alot of time in the tutoring lab. I wish i had took a teacher that new how to explain things in a way that helped her student understand. She is nice when it comes to grading, but be prepared to se
I took her for lab. She's not an easy teacher, but she forced me to really learn the material. It's A LOT of work for a one hour lab. Don't take her if you're in it for the grade, but take her if you are in it to actually learn. She will take a lot of time to help you if you approach her.
If you have never taken Chemistry then DO NOT take this professor. She works at GPC only part time and teaches high school. She speed races through chapters from the beginning, whether or not you can grasp the material or not. This lady will fail you with no problem. BEWARE
Manuela Trani is a good teacher. As a student, you must read and prepare PRIOR to class in order to grasp the information in the classroom. She also gives a powerpoint presentation prior to class of what she will go over in the upcoming class. Overall, I like her and her teaching abilities. Great teacher! Make sure to ASK QUESTIONS!!!!
take her class. She is a very good teacher and very knowledgeable. On test, all you have to do is go over the homework and powerpoint that she gave out in icollege and you will do fine. She will drop 1 lowest test grade, I ended up with an A+ in her class. she is also very lenient if you were to miss a homework or test , she will let you retake.
Overall a good teacher. Like any chem course, you have to work. She grades fair but dont expect to be given anything. I'm amazed at how many students dont get that this is the real world, not play time. She does cover the material quickly because YOU are expected to work on your own as well. Bottom line, she's a good teacher
This proffesor does not know how to teach. She is not clear when teaching as if she did not know the material well. She seams distracted by other factors in the classroom.
Lord, I saw tears in the woman's eye's because she couldn't connect with the class. Don't get me wront, it has nothing to do with her accent(Italian), but mostly her not realizing that people are listening to her.You have to change your listening mode when teaching.
She's one of the few teachers at GPC who is genuinely invested in the success of her students. She can be a little bit difficult to understand at first (she has an accent) and this will take some getting used to. Many students do poorly in her class but they are defeated by the subject and their own work ethic, not her teaching.
She is the very easy for Chemistry. Although, she can be hard to understand at times, I promise if you read and study her powerpoints you will end up with a great grade. She drops lowest grade and gives extra credit. Hello!
I loved her! Chemistry is not an easy subject to begin with. However, you have no reason to get anything less than a B in her class. Her powerpoint notes are awesome plus she gives STUDYGUIDES for each test. On top of that, she has extr credit opportunities. Take her :-)
Nice but not thorough in explanations always seemed as though she were in a hurry.
She doesn't teach clear to understand, she just reads slides, and if you have a question, she will tell you to go to the tutoring center, or won't answer it in a yes or no. Lots of extra credit, still, got a C!!
Dr. Trani is a great teacher. She does have an Italian accent but is easy enough to understand. Lots of opportunities to succeed in her class.
I never write reviews on here, but im making an exception for ms trani! i absolutely love her, she is a great teacher and you're lucky to have her! the class is hard (come on now, its chemistry) but shes available for tutoring - shes worked with me 1 on 1 anytime ive asked! you wont find anything better than ms trani! take her!
She is the best in delivery of Chemistry, if chem was tough for you before, pick her.She is good.
I hated Chemistry before this class. Professor Trani is probably the best teacher I've had so far in my college career. She genuinely cares about her students and she loves what she does. She has a passion for chemistry. I would recommend her to anyone!
Professor Trani is a great instructor. She is very clear about her expectations and walks you through every assignment. She really wants you to "get it". She has no problem helping you and going step by step through some of the confusing chemistry equations. She wants you to succeed and get an A! Show up, pay attention, and ask questions!
I was a business major, and I dreaded science. Now that I changed my major and taken chem I with professor Trani, I actually like science now. She is very nice and helpful. I had some incidents that deferred me from doing my homework on time, and after explaining my valid reason, she extended the due date. She want you to make a 4.00 GPA. "CAT-PAW"
She will help you to get the A that you want if you are willing to put in the work. She instruct clearly and help you if you need something. TAKE HER CLASS !!!
Dr. Trani is a very helpfull person and she knows what she is teaching. I took her for this summer session. Her stud guide is straight forward. All you need is to find time and do all the problems in the study guide and find time also to meet with her peronally for any personal problems in the class. She is the best.
Trani is a bad teacher. this summer semester was a desaster. and the final exam was ugly because she did not teach anything to understand
Professor Trani was great. She explained everything that we were tested on and if you had an questions about something that was unclear, then she would actually take the time in class to break it down for you. I also recommend printing the powerpoints so that you can pay attention while she lectures in class. She wants you to get an A and I did.
One of my favorite professors. Great lab instructor, who is always eager to answer questions. Her tests are not very hard but also not very easy. If you study hard and learn the material you will do well in the class.
she is extremely helpful and understandable. i LOVED her way of teaching. she is amazing. you should really take her
Professor Trani is a great instructor. I would recommend anyone who has to take Chem1151 to take her for both lecture and lab. She explains her work very well and if you may need more understanding on something she is always available during her office hours! I personally love the way she teaches:)
Dr Trani is one of the hard workerteacers I v ever had.She knows how to share her knowlegde with her students and she understand her students.Briefly, she knows her job.I will defintly recommanded her to any prospective student
Dr. Trani is one of the BEST Chemistry professors around. She assist in any way possible to be sure you understand the material. There is really no way to fail her class unless you just don't try. I recommend taking her for Chem 1151 but you must help yourself in order for her to help you.
Dr. Trani was very helpful. We had a Sat. class so it was long, but she was always willing to help. If you didn't understand she would make sure you knew the material. I WOULD SUGGEST YOU TAKE HER SHE IS AWESOME.
Dr. Trani is going to be the best prof in GPC for Chem. She does a ton of the course on ICollege which I liked. Work was challenging but very doable. Her tests are fair. Has good extra credit opportunities.
Professor Trani is one of the best teachers at GPC. She goes above and beyond with ways to help you. You has the best notes and study guides ever. She also tutor herself in the tutoring center. Take her she is great.
Great Professor!! As long as you pay attention during class and study the study guide their is no reason you shouldn't pass the class. She explains everything so well the first time, very seldom would you need further explanation, but if you do she's always available to help!!IF YOU ARE TAKING CHEM TAKE PROFESSOR TRANI, SHE IS GREAT I PROMISE!!!!
She is a great teacher and very helpful if you need the extra help. Her I don't care for Chemistry but if you study her power points and the study guides you should do well. I received a B in her lecture class and a C in her lab class.
Dr T is one of the best teachers I ever had. She is very willing to help you understand what is going on and she doesn't want to see a student fail. I went from failing the class to passing it with all her assistance. I strongly suggest taking her.
Ms. Trani was very nice and gracious, especially when it came to homework and exams. She is willing to help in anyway she can.
I really appreciate how invested Dr. Trani is in teaching this class and in having us understand and care about the material. I was terrified of chemistry lab and she made it something I look forward to. I've never had a professor who was so willing to help, and she's so conscientious and reliable and also an excellent and fascinating teacher.
Best Professor I have ever encountered at GPC. I also disliked Chemistry and was terrified of taking it. Dr Trani is so passionate about it and making sure that you understand it. She's wonderful. Take her!
She is a great teacher. She cares about what the students learn and understand the subject matter. She is always there for extra help when needed.
Tran is very passionate about Chem & her students. Explain EXTRA thorough. Provides Powerpoints so if you miss class(which you shouldnt)you can catchup. she tries to makes it easy, but you NEED to study. I wouldnt hesitate taking her again. Gives Study Guides.Reviews test. Cute with a sense of humor. I dont regret taking her.Youll definitely learn
Dr. Trani is the BEST, BEST, and BEST teacher. If you need to take chemistry take Manuela Trani, you won't regret it.
I took her for summer. Some online homework and extra credit, 4 tests, and a final. She gives out study guides! Dr. Trani is one of the best professors I've ever had. She is so helpful and understanding. You can tell that she is so passionate about what she does, so she really tries to explain things so that everyone can understand. Take her!
Dr. Trani is a great professor, I was able to pass both her lab and lecture over the summer. I didn't have to work too hard for those A's, I always attended class and did all the extra credit which isn't too much work. She is willing to help with anything and she gives you study guides which is a plus because you will know exactly what to study!!!
She is great professor. She explain anything if you do not get it. She is nice and kind. I like her. She also provide the study guid. I got A on her class.
Her tests are really hard, half of the class failed her first test. And she did not care......sent everyone of us an email said we all did great...I really don't expect to study Chemistry myself, but I did. Overall, she is ok, but need a lot of self studying..
Dr. Trani is one of the most caring professors I've ever had the pleasure of taking. She's clear with her expectations, and she's clear with her lectures. If you're actually wanting to learn a bit of chemistry, you should take her.
I honestly do not know what Manuela Trani some are speaking of in their comments but it is clearly NOT Trani at GPC. Dr. Trani's main goal in life it to catch cheaters and she makes that clear on EVERY assignment. HOW IT IS POSSIBLE TO COPY FROM YOUR LAB PARTNER THAT IS PERFORMING THE EXACT SAME LAB AS YOU ARE IS BEYOND ME. DO NOT TAKE HER!!!!
Ms. Trani is very polite with students. I took her Chem 1152lab, and it was a pleasure to attend it. Do homework and quizzes and you will be fine. Exams are very easy and mostly based on her Pp, nothing unexpected. great teacher. If you work- you will will gent an A.
she's a good teacher but if you like me and you not good in chem and you want to pass just take chem online with any teacher all the questions are online anyways.
Dr Trani is a great teacher. She goes out of her way to explain things.Tests are off the study guide and review questions.Attend classes, study, do online assignments and you are sure to have your A. She is aswesome.TAKE HER!!!
Ms. Trani is no where near the best instructor. Her accent is not understandable, she teaches way too fast and if you have never and I mean never taken chemistry in your life please do yourself a favor avoid her at all cost and save yourself some money.
DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS, SHE WILL MESS UP YOUR GPA!!!!
do the homework and extra credit given and you will pass. she gives all kinds of resources, listen to her and you will pass.
Dr. Trani is by far the best and most caring professor I have ever had in my college career. I have taken her class over the summer and this is the first time I have ever taken Chemistry. She honestly cares about her students and their success. Chemistry is hard so you MUST study! If you want to pass Chemistry, Dr.T is a shoe in, if you work hard.
A good professor, she won't hold your hand, but is extremely helpful, and understanding. She volunteers in the tutoring center, good when you need help. If you take this class ensure you study for the test, in lecture test were 60% of the grade. She has some extra credit, and post ppt's online. Also take advantage of her narrated ppt's.
Basically she was no help all semester. She would say go to her office and she would help you understand, but she basically said the same thing she did in class, almost the same. Tutorial from students that know the class or passed is basically the only answer. She spends more time looking for cheaters and cell phone users than she does teaching
Professor Trani is just awesome! She is so understanding when it comes to late work and is willing to explain why your grade is the way it is and how you can fix it. She's funny in a very cheesy way and shes very likable. She likes when students talk about italy, her home country. Her accent is awesome!
Dr. Trani is one of the best professors I have had so far. Her lab lectures helps me a lot on my online course. You do have to study before you going to lab so you know what you are doing. She gives some extra credit and it does help. If you want to learn something and is very interested in Chemistry, she is the perfect one for you.
If anyone complains about Dr. Trani's methods, I seriously feel bad for them. Dr. Trani is one of the most thorough teachers I have ever encountered. She answers questions before I can get a chance to ask. Anyone who has an issue, it's simply because they're lazy and want things handed to them. Not chemistry, maybe you can have a mint tho.
good teacher. just be serious about your work and will do well.
I had to withdraw from her class because she could not teach. Her tests are different from what she taught in class. I doubt she made the tests herself or else it would have been related to her lecture. Also, she is always stuck teaching at one side of the room and board. Like how do you expect the other half of students to see and learn?
If you want an A handed to you, then chemistry is probably not the subject for you, no matter who the professor is. Yes, you have to work hard, but she is very helpful if you talk to her. She provided TONS of resources (take advantage of them) and you do have extra credit options in case something goes wrong. Pay attention, study, you should be ok.
lecture n sumer Very fast paced. shes good teacher. gave TON extra credit. possibility to add 6 pts to overal grade. So if u just had 84 avg n do all extra credit then u get A in class. Theres very helpful study guide for each test. Final was easy. Hint: don't waste time reading the chptrs. Theyr long n wont help. Just learn to solve to problms
Her class is not easy you have to work super hard to get a good grade. The homeworkstudy guide is harder than the test. Each homework is about 30 problems (crazy amounts of hw). You will be tested on material that is covered right before the test ( no time to practice or ask questions). The class is fast paced to cover the material.
She really cares about her students. I just took her over the summer, and yes it was fast paced and I had to work for my grade, she did everything she could to prepare us for the tests. The tests were easy in my opinion, as long as you practiced and did the homework. She gives TONS of extra credit, so getting an A is more than doable.
She is so nice and enthusiastic to all her students. I even didn't study much in class, but I got A. What we need to do is to read the textbook, do homework and understand it. You will get an A easily if you understand all of the homework on cengage learning. Sometimes it is challenging, but it's really helpful. I am waiting for her class again.
Yes, Chemistry is hard. If you're novice, then it's important you put a lot of of work outside of class to come to class prepared. The tests are much easier than the study guides and homework, which is a good thing. She gives a lot of extra credit opportunities. Dr. Trani is very helpful and responsive to emails. Would recommend!
Shes pretty cool, but she only gives 4 test . That may sound good but basically you don't get enough grades to get an A unless you get and A on all for test which by the way are only like 20 questions. sounds good ? no .. less questions the harder it is to pass . and the quizzes aren't worth anything, neither is the 10% extra credit . so good luck
I really enjoyed Dr. Trani for her enthusiasm. The class itself is challenging because the course outcomes are a lot harder than the objectives taught. She could be more concise. There are only 4 tests, a final, homework (15%), extra credit (1%). Tests are 20 questions with 4 short answers. She provides study guides.
She has an Italian accent so she can be tough to understand at first but I got used to it quickly. All of her homework is online and it can get a little difficult. Her test seem hard in the moment but if you study you'll get a good grade. The textbook isn't that necessary since she teaches off of powerpoints from the textbook. Just make sure notes.
Dr. Trani really loves chemistry and it shows. Lectures were well prepared and really helped break down the concepts. There was a good bit of homework, but it all related directly to what we were learning in class so it wasn't just busy work. She is always willing to answer questions and is accessible outside of class if you need additional help.
Dr. Trani is a nice lady but there was so much homework and quizzes. I guess that's good because you get to practice and it can help your grade but I took her over the summer and her class was very time consuming. Get ready for A LOT of stoichiometry. The tests can be hard if you don't practice enough. She does offer extra credit and she's helpful.
Dr. Trani's lectures are very good; if you take good notes you can probably get away with not having to read the textbook for 99% of the topics. On the flipside, unless you enjoy reading textbooks, class attendance is a must. There's also a lot of quizzes and homework, but I believe that's a symptom of the CHEM course.
Dr Trani is an excellent teacher. I'm in her 8:30am class, so we aren't very active, but that doesn't seem to phase her. She offers a lot of support outside of class. She has PowerPoints posted online, both standard & narrated. There's extra credit attached to the homework which can total 4 points overall. She wants to see us succeed & it shows.
Dr. Manuela Trani is the worst professor at GPC. She give so much work to the point you don't have time to study for her test. Her lecture does not match up with the test she give you. She is always talking to fast and she is confusing. DO NOT TAKE THIS LADY EVER. It take her about 5 week to complete a chapter. Her homework is hard and test.
Manuela Trani is horrible when is comes to teaching chemistry. Her homework is so much. Test is hard. Her leacture is very confusing. She think she is funny but she not. Her quiz are hard. She talk to fast. Don't take this Class. You will never have time to study.
Professor Trani give so much work to a point you don't know where to study. Homework is a lot and hard. Extra Credit is so much it's worth very litte. Her test are short answer and multiple choice and it is hard. She will Not give u enough time to study for ACS exam, because she give to much work. she talk to fast. STAY AWAY FROM THIS CLASS.
So much work you have to do for this. You will not have time to study. She is mean and she is not helpful
Too Much Work not eunogh time to study for exams.
I took Manuela Trani last summer and. I did not like it at all. The amount of work load she gives you is so much. Her test are 55%. Her Homework are 10% Her quizzes are 15%. She give 4 extra credit that has 30 problem each. She give study gives that are not helpful at all. her final 20%. Her office hours are not helpful.
The online homework was so much busy work, but she does a great job explaining in lectures. Tests are too short so if you miss a few, it will count big. Do the study guide she provides and do most homework/online quizzes before test and most likely you will get an A. I wish I had her for Chem 1, too.
Dr. trani is a nice lady but her expectations of her students are very unrealistic. Please be aware that if you are signing up for her class that you won't have time to study for your other classes. Her HW and extra credit assignments are extremely hard and time consuming. If you don't complete them prior to the test you will fail. Beware!
Prof Trani is the professor you want if you want to be prepared for a healthcare / science career. Chemistry isn't supposed to be easy. She's thorough & gives assignments that relate to the test material. Extra credit is also available. If you're looking for an easy Chemistry course, then you picked the wrong major, not the wrong professor.
"Her HW and extra credit assignments are extremely hard and time consuming. If you don't complete them prior to the test you will fail." I would imagine completing the assignments prior to the test would be a key to passing. The final is an ACS standard final. Get your hands on it ASAP & work through it during the semester. This will help a lot.
Shes absolutely ridiculous. Took her online. She makes you use lock down browser and web camera so she can watch you take the test. DO NOT TAKE HER!!!!!!! The amount of HW is also unreal.
Do not take her if you have other classes because of the amount of coursework. I agree, her tests are ridiculous, only 15-20 questions that count 65% of your grade. Yikes! She does give tons of homework and extra credit. As long as you complete ALL of the homework, extra credit with an 100%, study and pass quizzes you can pass her class.
GPA killer! She has extremely high expectations. Her tests are very hard & aren't worded the same way she words the online quizzes. She gives 4 test during the semester so if you fail them too badly, you should drop the class. Other chem professors give take-home test & practice test. She doesn't. Take her only if its the only class you are taking!
Despite doing all the homework and all but one extra credit, I still may fail her class. The quizzes and tests are extremely difficult and often cover material and examples not on the homework or in the book. A lot of the questions are very conceptual and wording can be confusing. Pass on her class, your GPA will thank you.
This was my second time taking Chem 1211 because I needed a higher grade for my major. I took her over the summer and it was fine. She's nice and wants you to succeed but the wording on her slides, tests, and quizzes are difficult to understand. If this is your first time taking a chem class I would opp for someone else.
I was adamant to take her class after reading the reviews but I took it anyway because all the other classes were full. I took her online over the summer and if u do well on the exams and quizzes and attempt the extra credit you will get an A in her class
She is one of the best professor's I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. She always starts class with a smile, and has plenty to share with us about. She is the reason I find chemistry very fun, and I can recommend her to anyone who is interested in taking this course. She is very caring and nice, and I would take her again! Thank you Dr. Trani
I took Dr. Trani over the summer, and she was a great teacher. Clear lectures and relatively easy online homework and quizzes. Tests were similar to homework. Pay attention in class and take good notes, and it'll be an easy A. Extra credit provided also, which can really help if you have a borderline grade.
Feel free to ask questions. There are many opportunities to practice the material.
Very good professor. She walks you through most of the content and will use the power points that she posted online. Study if you're not too good with chemistry.
All the assigments are online along with a ton of extra resources. Literally impossible to fail this class with the amount of credit, and the amount of effort Trani puts into her class. Not much of a harsh grader on tests either gives a curve. About as good as it gets for a chem teacher.
Very clear grading criteria and very helpful. TAKE HER! You won't regret it.
She is a great teacher with lots of extra credit opportunities. The homework and quizzes prepare you well for the test. She responsive to emails and a lot of help whenever you need it! If you want to understand and learn take her! She is amazing! She is caring! Best teacher ever!
Prof. Trani cares about her students and wants you to pass. She has a lot of extra credit opportunities for students , so make use of it! Chemistry is hard but she tries to help make it easier. She also uploads a LOT of resources to iCollege. Very good about communication. Class is difficult but doable.
Took her online over the summer. TAKE HER CLASS!!! She provides lots of resources including narrated lecture slides (very helpful), detailed practice problems/study guide for each test, and many extra credit opportunities that count toward your final grade. If she notices that you are having trouble with a chapter she personally emails you. EASY A!
This professor contradicts herself a lot , She gets frustrated if you ask her a lot of questions in which she barely answers. She has a habit of telling you your answer is wrong because its not explained up to her liking , but then will put the original answer you put first . Her labs arent hard but she catches attitudes very easy
She's helpful. Gives lots of resources and extra credit to do well in her class. IN CLASS WORKSHEETS GIVE YOU A GOOD BASE FOR HER TESTS!!! If you know how to do the problems on the in class worksheets provided online you will do well on her tests. Only thing I can say that is negative about her class is that there is alot of online Knewton Alta hw.
Great Professor. Chemistry itself is hard, but she explains material very thoroughly. Do quizzes and homework beforehand, most are repeated on exams. Do your work and you will get an A. Very Helpful. Took her for lab too, midterm was a little hard but overall, great teacher. You can see she is good at Chemistry.
Provides you lots of resources. Preparing the exams with her narrated power points, problem sets, practice and quiz questions is very helpful, exam questions will be coming from them most of the time. Chemistry is not an easy subject anyways, so you have to study hard!
I loved chemistry since i was in High School, this professor gave me hard time with chemistry. She rejected my lab reports and did not accept any late work. The professor does her part of teaching but she deliberately fails the students. She failed me on both my mid term and final when i studied for an entire week. Do not take her class if you want
She was a really great professor! Chem is not my favorite subject and I had a few instances where I needed clarification and she was always happy to help. She responded quickly to emails. The assignments were pretty easy and the material was laid out in a really organized way. She was really lenient on work being turned in on time.
TWO THUMBS UP FOR PROFESSOR VANEGAS! I've failed CHEM 1212 two times in the past and was hoping the third time would be the charm. So glad I chose Prof. V this time! With all the quizzes, homework, and extra credits she gives, it's IMPOSSIBLE to fail her class! I hate chemistry so much but managed to walk out of her class with an A- !
This professor is AMAZING. I absolutely love her! She is such a sweet heart. Taking chemistry online, she makes it fun and interesting. If you have any questions she is willing to answer them and explain them perfectly. She gives LOTS of extra credit. She isn't a tough grader. TAKE HER you'll love her.
Professor Vanegas was amazing! If you had any questions regarding the materials or work, she was always available to answer them. She loves helping her students and wishes them nothing but the best. Although, chemistry is not an easy subject, watching her videos and lectures made my eyes open to new knowledge and material.
She's amazing! I had trouble with chemistry & her teaching style helped a lot. She gives extra credit, each test you have two chances (takes the highest grade) & the self-assessment assignments are helpful. She tries to make chemistry easy for students to understand. She truly cares for her students & wants them to understand the material. TAKE HER
She's very considerate and has amazing lectures. 4 exams plus final, pre-exam quizzes before each exam, and self assessments for each module (unlimited attempts). You have 2 attempts for each exam (online) and there are many extra credit opportunities throughout the semester. With the help of the extra credit, I ended up getting a 100 in the class.
Best online Chemistry course I took at GSU. 14 weekly quizzes for unit exams, she drops the lowest two, final, pre-quizzes, project, and essay. She also provides other external practice resources, extra credit, and curves in moderation. Surprisingly I did great on her final per Dr. V. but an A+ is definitely doable in her class.
She is the BEST PROFESSOR I've had at Clarkston! Took her lecture + lab. She is funny and really just wants you to learn the material. If you work hard and focus on learning, you will do well. We were graded on HW, 3 projects, 4 pre-exam quizzes, 4 tests, and a final. Her lectures are more productive if you watch the lecture videos before class.
Prof. Vanegas is a caring professor who really wants you to learn. With helpful resources, clear grading, and extra credit, her class is challenging but doable. Using Unstuck study alongside the textbook and in-class worksheets was key to my success.
Ms. Vanegas is an incredible professor. While her lectures are a bit long-winded, she explains things pretty well. She provides a lot of resources to learn and gives an immense amount of extra credit opportunities. She is very sweet and likes to crack jokes. She thanks students if they ever catch a mistake. Very sweet and understanding.
The course in general is very challenging but this is the best professor to take it with. She cares about her students and she is very nice and also has a lot of flexible due dates. Her tests are hard but as long as you do the pre test quiz, etc. and watch the lecture videos it is fine. She is very organized and provides all the information needed.
