Just finished her spring class. I have taken every class that she teaches, and I can't get enough, VERY INTERESTING. She is the best Professor, I guarantee you will not be BORED. GREAT TEACHER! I learned so much! BEST SUMMER CLASS! Most of the students like her a lot. But, you do have to show up for class,she takes attendance. But time goes fast because you have so much fun, in her class, I did not have the latest text book and was ok. Advice: save money you can buy an older version text book and be ok.

One of the best teachers you can have. She made it impossible for students to get a bad grade. But don't be fooled, if you don't do the work (a lot of reading) and slack off on assignments then your final will reflect your performance. She expects her students to be adults, not children. Could not have picked a more knowledgeable Professor to begin my Psychology section of education. Professor Bentley expresses utilizing real life experience in this field. She stresses the differences between laymen and clinical terminology in this field. Her groups are set up that one can learn without knowing and incredibly "fun!"

She is animated about the topic she teaches. She sticks to her rules. Just do as she says take good notes and have the book on the first day!

OMG, She is a great professor. You will love this class, I did personally. she makes the topics very interesting. You must come to class daily, you must have a book, and your guranteed to pass. If your in class everyday you will receive extra credit. Overall, one absence caused me 10 points. A dropped to a B.

Excellent professor, teaches with a passion and doesnt have a problem answering any questions. Hands out multiply assignments but if you listen in class then they shouldnt be a problem. Bentley isn't the best professor, it's mandatory to come to class and even is you score above 20s on her quizzes, you could end up with a C.She doesn't really care for her students.she keeps on changing her word. I LOVE THIS CLASS! I have taken all of Bently's courses, Abnormal Psychology, was my favorite. She gives you participation points for comming to class. I am from the military, so I like her structured classrooms. You MUST read the text book, all exams are open book online.The test are hard if you don't read. I got an A, in this class.

Bentley is a great teacher. You read off the book and she goes over a chapter a week. Stay on task. Her lectures cover important information so don't skip class. Her group projects and worksheets are helpful for scenarios in test. You need your book and you can go over the study guide. Her syllabus is very clear. I would take her again.

Taking class Summer 2015, Psych 41, EXCELLENT! Summer went fast, love her lectures and her stories. Highly recommend. Not easy. This class is all up to you, do the work, get the points. Fun, love the groups and lectures.

With professor Bentley it's cut and dry ... you get what you put into her class . Love the groups learning sessions you learn better that way , It also allows you to form your own opinions.

I took Professor Bentley for Psych 1 and Psych 41, her class is super easy if you want a quick "A" I'd take her. For Psych 1 she gives you around 5 quiz's and three papers. For Psych 41 since I took her again during the summer its was just 5 quizs and two papers her papers are very easy and very simple . You want chill professor? Take Ms Bentley.

I have taken Bentley, for every class she teaches, just finished abnormal psychology 14. Her class is hella fun! you will learn a lot, love the case studies, her lectures, she is awesome! take her class, you wont regret it, everyone loves Bentley, once you are in her class you will know why!

She will make you feel like dropping the class but do not make that mistake. My advice is to show to class everyday and do your part i guarantee you will get an A.

I really enjoyed taking Psychology1 and 41. The way the class is taught is excellent, from the lectures, videos, movie, and personal experiences shared from the class and her, it helped us understand the material very good and from different perspectives. Professor Bentley is a GREAT professor. Definitely one of my favorites. I also took her for psychology 1 and earned an A. Many students who take her feel she is too hard but I disagree. She is straightforward and is always engaged with her students. She also gives ample time to turn in assignments. The only time you fail is if YOU dont do your job

Professor Bentley is the best! I absolutely loved her class and she's an extremely nice woman. There were 3 written assignments that were on fun-to-watch movies, and 5 tests I believe. She lectures what you need to know, but I did find reading the book at home beforehand to be a huge help and it makes the class soo easy. I recommend for sure.

Professor Bentley is such a kind and uplifting women. Her vibes were always so positive and her stories are interesting! There is very little homework. A few written assignments according to a movie which is the EASIEST. All tests are online and you can use your book or GOOGLE. A LOT of extra credit.

In class group projects and worksheets count for a lot. Attendance matters, just read, take notes, do the study guides when they're provided and the assignments. It's so easy if you do the work and put in the effort.

She is really sweet but does not tolerate a lazy student. As long as you are a good student, do you work, show up to class on time with materials you will be okay. She gives extra credit everyday and her papers are fairly easy. She shows clips and usues the text book alot.

Wow, fun teacher with an easy class. Just show up every day and do your work. There is extra credit opportunities. At the very end of our class, she helped us calculate our final grade, and allowed people to discuss it in more detail. There are some writing assignments, so be prepared. Book was MANDATORY. Quizzes were online which made it so easy

I took Bentley for both Psychology 001 and Psychology 041... her work is easy if you pay attention. Her lectures are always funny. She gives a lot of extra credit and if you do not miss a class you won't have to take a final (a final that is easy though)! You'll enjoy it!

Betley has to be one of the best professors I know. I rarely or never had to read. In class, assignments are the easiest. Her quizzes are super simple. She allows you to use your resources or your book for them. We never had to do homework. She only has like 5 essays which are more like easily written assignments you have to watch a movie.

Where do I even start (smiles). Probably one of the best professors ive had so far ! She never gives you any homework other than getting a signed syllabus on the first day of class ! Her overall work is based on canvas online. On lab days, you get to work in groups ! The downside is that you need to buy a textbook and also attendance is a must : )

She's a very funny professor and very good lectures. The class was never boring. When it became an online class it turn a little complicated with the grading and the assignments but she was able to help everyone. Would recommend her!

Professor Bentley is really great! I was nervous to take a summer course because they are fast paced but she clearly outlined the schedule and due dates and that helped me keep organized. We did have a lot of discussion posts and its best to start on those as soon as possible and really understand the chapter. I learned a lot from this class!

Professor Bentley is a true gem. In the beginning, she will continue to reference the syllabus, so read it - and read it again! I take her PSYCH 001 summer course. There is a lot of assignments that you have to do and you may get a chance to watch a couple of movies related to some of those assignments too. It will require you to actually read the assigned material and to comprehend what you are reading. Highly recommended as a professor and make sure to read her syllabus!

I did 3 on difficulty is because she really makes you manage your time, the work is not hard its learning to manage your time. Which is a great tool to prepare us for real life. I see that some people may take that in a negative way and say shes mean but its all to prepare us for real life. One thing is she does not accept excuses.

You must be active in her class with posts and responses and she is a gracious grader. This is a writing class that take some thought. Mid-term and final are group presentations you create! First review I've ever written for a professor, just like the previous person. I really enjoyed the structure of this class. Modules are opened every Sunday and closed Friday. Professor Bentley, She is a very respected instructor. She does have a love for psychology and teaches the course in such a way that awakes the brain, at the end of the course I guarantee that you will have a different knowledge of the world around you and the mental issues that affects humanity. You must do the work to get a good grade.

I've taken Professor Bentley three times now ( three different classes) so I knew exactly what to expect. If you show up, participate and do the work you will do just fine! The grading is clear cut and she stays true to the grading rubric she provides. There is often opportunities for extra credit and she is fairly lenient with making up work.

I took Psych 2 Biopsy with instructor Bentley, she is awesome, sweet and very responsive. We work on teams and the negative post are from students that just could not cut it, they were always late to post, everything they wrote had to be re-written and edited. Instructor Bentley, was so patient with them but it was not enough. She is the best!

This is the Psych Professor you want to take for Life-Span. Interesting, fun, and you understand Psychology really well. Dr. Bently is wonderful, she does not play games with your work, you are graded for the work you do. I love this class. You are never stressed out, the work is amazing. I am glad I am in her class, I really love her classes.

One of the BEST Psychology Professors at Trade Tech. The work I acquired is outstanding. Dr. Bentley gets you ready to understand Psychology, I have taken every Psychology class with Dr. Bentley and I am well pleased with the teaching method Dr. Bentley gives you. There are no games with your work, no lost test, or work. She is very accurate.

Prepare to read 14 chapters and write review papers. There are also weekly discussions There was a total of 9 chapter reviews (minimum 600 words each) and 3 movie review papers (minimum word count varied between grades you want for your paper). If you follow directions this class can be an easy A. She uses Macmillan launchpad learning curve.

I would defiantly recommend her. She does require to purchase a book but every book has great content. Although you will have to show that you have tried hard to earn your grade which means that you will have to do every single assignment BUT they are easy but requires time. 10/10

By far the Best Class I am new and I was nervous taking a Psychology class, but she helped build my confidence. She is lively, fun, down to earth, I am taking her again for Psych 41. She uses weekly modules an films. Most of all she is very knowledgeable. She uses the e-book, a must buy.

Professor Bentley was great! At first, it took a while to get used to the format and expectations in the class, but she was easy to reach out to for questions/ concerns. There are lots of assignments that focus on reflection/review/teamwork but there were no exams throughout the class. She is also a great resource if you have career questions!

Bio Psych was a difficult class but if you put in the work, you can get an A. Lots of lecture notes, articles, and videos that you read weekly (not mandatory). You have at least 2 weekly discussions, they aren't difficult, but you have to watch long documentaries/podcasts to answer. The case studies and weekly reviews are a big part of your grade.

I loved this class, I learned so much about childhood, adulthood, the best class I have taken. She is kind and takes the time to mentor her students. She is very knowledgeable tons of work experience in the field, I am glad I took the class, her films are interesting and add to the class discussions.

How this professor grades her class is based on attendance and the learning curves she gives you. One is due every week, but DO NOT BE ABSENT YOU WILL BE DROPPED.I took this class Tuesdays and Thursdays 10:10am-11:35am normally Tuesdays the professor would teach us and Thursdays we would have group work. I recommend you guys to take it!

I really enjoyed this class. I plan on taking her for my lifespan psych class because she's very clear about her assignments. The first week of class I definetely had trouble understanding her assignments, but as time went on I realized how easy her work was. You will definitely need to read, but her work isn't hard.
