Marc was extremely helpful and you can tell he has a passion for english and loves to pass it on. I sat in 4 Eng. 302 classes simultaneously, hoping to add for four days, only to be unlucky at the hat draw. I email the remainder 302 instrs. and pleaded. Marc took me in and he had a full class. What a godsend!

If you like to learn while having fun in class, Marc is the teacher for you. He makes his class interesting, motivating and comprehensive so everyone can understand and progress. He also is a young striving, motivating and aspiring person to be around. Loves what he does as his emotions show you. :)

He is funny, smart, organized, and makes you interested in class. He's a great teacher that makes sure you are very well prepared for English 100 and above, but he doesn't give out A's easily, so be prepared to work for your grade in his class.

He is so HOT! Great teacher, he expects a lot from your work and takes his writing seriously.

Mr. Bojanowski doesn’t tell you what you’re supposed to think; he encourages you to come to your own conclusions about assignments and topics discussed in class. If you take this class seriously and have an open mind during lectures, you will benefit greatly from the experience. This is the best class I’ve ever taken.

Only available during the summer, teaches this class as if it were discussion class. He focuses on the topics of the book, but always does it in a way in which makes it entertaining and fun. This class in all honesty was easier than i thought it would be as long as you do your work you should be able to get a B or higher without much effort.

Mr. Bojanowski was the best teacher i ever had. I took 305x306x and he was so helpful and ALWAYS encouraged my class to use the resource the campus offers. GO TO HIS OFFICE HOURS AND THE WRITING CENTER! However, paying attention is essential for passing this class but it's not hard because he is really funny.

I believe this is one of the most helpful teacher I have ever had. He is very clear with his work. He makes the class super interesting and makes connections to the book we are reading. I recommend this teacher but I do have to say he is a tough grader but he is always there to help.

This instructor is incredibly interesting. The class discussions help formulate ideas for the students to both critically think about and to apply to the writing assignments. Marc is dedicated and passionate about his work. He is always so willing to help. I recommend anyone and everyone to take this class!

He challenges you to think for yourself and pushes your writing which will reward you in the end. He is really relatable and kind. He's class consists of a lot of discussion so it allows you to include your opinion. If you want a great instructor you should take Marc.

I loved Marc's lectures and he is really funny. There are a lot of essays and writing assignments, for my class there was a two page paper due every time the class met and several 3-5 page essays due throughout the semester. But if you meet with him during his office hours he is more sympathetic and helpful in regards to your work.

Although this class was very difficult for me, Marc was an amazing teacher. He gives clear feedback on essays and is very helpful. If you are like me and struggle with writing, Marc will provide a lot of help to improve your writing during his office hours. Also, he really challenges you to share your ideas and there are a lot of class discussions.

I took English 1A over the summer and this class had a lot of reading. Essays every night and also a novel. Class was fun though, lots of time for discussion and also some time to work on assigned papers. We also had to write in journals. The instructor is very respectful and really cool.

Young instructor Marc will teach their clases with relentless enthusiasm and grace. He would try to accomplish what many of other teacher lack make you think by yourself why is the educational material he's teaching important for yourself.

As my first college English professor, Bojanowski did not fail to deliver. The passion he had for teaching, and his way of getting every single person invested in the coursework, impressed me beyond measure. While he grades hard on papers, he gives ample opportunity for you to go over your papers with him or get extra credit. Take him.

Coming into English 1A, I was very scared because I struggled with reading and writing. My first couple of essays were given low grades, D's to be exact. Things changed once I took the time to visit him in his office hours. He is very nice and he really cares about the students, he took his time and helped me become a better writer. Great teacher.

He requires a ton of responses, but trust me they will help you in the long run. He really does an amazing job of preparing you for harder english courses ahead. He gives a lot of work, but he is very helpful and always available. He also gives amazing lectures and encourages students to participate and collaborate. Marc is an amazing teacher!

Marc is such an amazing professor! He really pushes you to think critically, and I saw my writing vastly improve over the semester. He is really clear in his feedback, and offers many opportunities to do better on your papers - take him up on this opportunity! Keep up with required reading and try hard in the class, and you'll do great.

Professor Bojanowski was one of the greatest teachers I have had the opportunity of learning from. I have never considered myself an English person, but after completing his class my writing has significantly improved. He is certainly a tough grader, but allows re-writes of essays and gives extra credit. I cannot recommend him highly enough!

Marc is very funny and very clear on what he wants from his students. He also gives extra credit which not many other professors do. He wants everyone to succeed and is always open to having conversations about homework.

Marc was an amazing English 100 teacher & I chose him for English 1A. He looked intimidating at first but he could not be nicer. He loves to joke every now & then. Do all the homework he assigns, it is not hard. HW is vocabs, reading journals, & front time to time he does give out extra credit. He really helps with comments on essays. Take Marc.

Bojanowski is a great professor. He is very passionate when teaching and wants to hear students' thoughts/input. Make sure to stay on top of the reading assignments and to attend office hours if clarification is needed. He tells you exactly what he wants in essays, & offers EC to boost grades. Great prof, would definitely take another class of his.

I highly recommend meeting with him outside of class he is a great teacher with a lot to offer. Pay attention, come to class, participate, and put in effort and you'll pass. If you want a challenge that will payoff take his class.

Marc loves class discussions on book being read. He offers extra credit occasionally. He does assign short essays almost every week, based on the reading done that week, but it helps so much on improving your essay writing skills. He helped me a lot. ONLY reason I didn't give a 5 star rating is because of his low word count on essays. He's amazing!

Marc treats his students like colleagues in the profession of writing, not like subordinates. This makes his feedback that much more meaningful. I got the feeling he truly sees each student as a person he can learn as much from as we learn from him. I will definitely be taking him again if I can.

Marc is not just one of my favorite professors, he is one of my favorite people. He wants everyone to succeed, and if you go to his office hours (I highly recommend doing) he will give you extra credit, and it helps tremendously with your writing. He's the type of guy you just want to chill and have a beer with.

Marc is a great teacher with the wit to make you want to improve yourself. He is very responsible and takes very seriously his job trying to never disappoint their students. At times he resembled the legendary ventriloquist Lionel Logue from "The King's Speech" to me at times. Awesome teacher and most importantly an awesome person.

Marc is AMAZING. As someone who never enjoyed analyzing text, his book discussions are absolutely fascinating. I am usually quiet and shy, but now I am getting engaged, asking questions, and giving my thoughts. His ideas and concepts blow my mind, and I really enjoy going to class. He is a tough grader, but is worth it! HW reading and 5 essays.

If I take any English classes again, mostly for personal fun, I will always look for Bojanowski first (and possibly from no one else!). Always fun, but also wants to make sure you understand what he's trying to teach and will get the point across. The possibility to rewrite your paper for a better grade is totally available so don't pass it up!

I learned so much about writing in Bojanowski's class, and wish I could have more semesters with him. If you are passionate about writing and want to learn how to do it well, his creative writing class is a must.

If you want to pass and love writing then Prof Marc is the way to go. He makes you write until you love it. He will help u and make sure you pass. He makes you work for your grades but assists you so much. I can take more and more classes with him. 10 stars he deserve

I took Marc over the summer semester of 2019, and it was the first class of my college career. I can say now that he is the best prof. that I have ever had. He wants you to succeed, but make sure to go to his office hours. He appreciates hard work and it is not unnoticed. Do the homework, stay on top of things, and you'll do great in the class.

He cares so much about his student and wants them to succeed. He gives students multiple chances and on top of this actually teaches. For once I actually learned something in an English class. Definitely recommend taking Professor Bojanowski.

Although this class will make you write a lot of essays and journals, it won't be hard to keep up if you manage your time well. His grading system is really nice, and when he wants you to redo an essay, his comments will be very clear on how to get a "complete " on the assignment. He is also always there to help you out if you have any questions.

I learned a lot from Prof Bojanowski about creative writing. He always made time to meet between classes to go over my writing. I also learned that workshopping my writing other students is not as bad as I thought.

This was one of my first classes I took at the SRJC and I loved it! as someone who enjoys writing, I learned a lot about how to better my writing style from Bojanowski. He is well organized and very clear about due dates. Highly recommend taking this class especially if you are fresh out of high school.

Im an engineering major, so english isnt exactly my forte. However, Mr. Bojanowski was an excellent professor! His feedback on my essays was always super helpful and I could tell he truly wanted to see me succeed. He was always willing to meet outside of class to provide help and give input on my writing.

He is such a Good Teacher ~ IF You want to Learn - If you want a Fair Teacher - He is the One.He talks to you with Respect and Care. If you don't understand something he takes the time to help you. This is English1A+English50 together. I Liked having Eng50, It really helped having the extra class time with Him to get help & get assignments done.

Prof. Bojanowski was one of the best professors I have had at SRJC. He is absolutely determined to see you succeed more than anything, not just in his class, but in your entire academic path. He is understanding and provides truly incredible feedback around each assignment. I grew the most I have ever in an English class in English 1A. 11/10.

I would recommend Prof. Bojanowski to anyone in need of taking an English course, for credit or for fun. He provides proper critiscim on your papers that actually works towards improving your writing skills. He was very understanding about certain situations, and very lenient with extensions on papers (as long as you actually do it). He's great!

An amazing teacher who inspires and his classes are updated to the latest research, discoveries and necessities that technology is bringing into our lives.

It was my first semester in college after 5 years since high school and he made writing bearable for me. He doesn't make you read any large books. Instead, you mostly write responses to articles. The class itself is pretty entertaining since the things you write about are about current events. Rewrite essays if given the option.

As long as you do the work in the class you should do well and if you are struggling with anything he is really easy to talk to and gives pretty good feedback.

Marc's lectures are amazing. Show interest, and he'll help.He genuinely cares and engages with your writing. He has a unique sense of humor. Expect valuable essay feedback. Punctuality matters; no phones or talking during lectures. Just enjoy the class, you're already there; better as well learn something new and have a good time.

GO TO CLASS. He really care about attendance and it'll effect but he's also really good at improving your writing and actually gibes beneficial feedback. I will say it's hard to go to class when he starts just sending us to the library for writing time and you sit there for an hour. He's really lenient with late papers but don't abuse that kindness

Marc is truly one of the best instructors Ive had in all my years of schooling. Not only was he great as an instructor, he is also incredibly caring and encouraging overall as a person. For this course, you write 3 main essays/other side work. All of which he guides you along the way, which can make for a slower class at times but trust the process

I loved taking Marc's class. He clearly loves English and is willing to give as much or as little feedback as you want. One of my favorite teachers I've had. Some reading and response papers, so if self-paced work isn't your thing, maybe go another route. He really just cares about his students and wants you to succeed.

I found my time in Marc Bojanowski's class to be incredibly helpful. In his ENG 1A course we had to write 3 essays. After submitting first drafts Marc would give us all feedback and pointers on our papers. After which we were then able to revise those papers. Thanks to him I have a much clearer understanding of how to properly write an essay.

He is one of the best English professors I've had to date. He is very helpful on word choice and essay construction. Because he also teaches critical thinking, he can break down the meaning of words and how to connect them to the material. I will definitely be taking more classes from him!

Loved this class! brought back my love for writing, He was really kind and cared for his students. we read 2 books and analyzed them and wrote a total of 4 essays. Gave good feedback and explained what my essay needed/expressed what was good about the essay. Grading was pretty weird but it worked out.

TAKE MARC! One of the best professors EVER. Loved his grading criteria because you actually learn and improve from it. Do not procrastinate and take advantage of the grading system. Consisted of two great books, 4 essays (with guidance) and small easy side work. Cannot explain enough how amazing this class was.

Overall great teacher. I enjoyed the class and it definitely helped me improve my writing. Textbooks are needed, you can buy them from the bookstore or another website as long as the ISBN's are the same. The lectures are worth attending. Grading criteria is clear. Asks for students opinions during class. Discussions are meaningful and voluntary.

Loved this class and him! Grading system was unique and allowed you to improve in your writing, while also earning the credit back. Keeping up with the readings, writing center visits, etc is best to keep a good grade as well and avoid stress lol. He's very intelligent and I loved his lectures.

Marc Bojanowski is a great professor. If you're struggling with your grade, talk to him and he will let you what's needed to improve your grade. He gives a clear understanding of what to expect throughout the course. Would definitely take this class again!

Bojanowski is funny and made class super interesting. He gives no exams and the four essays we had were super easy to write and had interesting prompts. I loved his class and it made me a better writer.

He's super enthusiastic and flexible. Although the essays were somewhat difficult and stressful, he always allows you to revise it. I never felt confused about guidelines of assignments so I felt confident attending the class.

Awesome proff!!! I'd recommend him to anyone! His lectures are sort of all over the place but he always seems to wrap them in a nice little bow by the end. We covered incredibly interesting topics and I came to almost every class because I enjoyed it so much!

I had Bojanowski for English 1A and 5. He's an incredible teacher. His lectures are very engaging. It's definitely a class that you need to try hard in, but it's all very educational. He is very open to feedback to make sure assignments and deadlines work. He takes the time to check in with students personally and ensure everyone is learning.
