Bonagura is the best english teacher ever. He is such an awesome guy, and his classes are extremely fun, and very funny. He's very smart and totally helpful when it comes to writting or doing anything. TAKE HIM IF U CAN sign up early..his classes close FAST

So easy and so much fun. The first time i ever got an A in English! I took marc 4 times he's great...just do your work and you will get an A

I had him with 121 and made sure I took him again for 122. still the course is fairly easy, 122 requires a little bit more effort than 121, but still, awsome guy and easy class. highly recommend

hands down my absolute favorite professor since ive been at brookdale he really makes english interesting even when it can get boring and he is eager to help he is an all around good guy he makes u want to go to class

He is an awsome prof. Best class ever there isn't much to teach in this class except you have to do your work on time but he an easy guy. Will enjoy his herb talk... Higly recommend him.

I don't know, he's a cool guy...but i went to all the classes, did all the work and got a B+? I was expecting an A but ehh...class is really pointless and easy work is not demanding in any respect.

Easy yet informative, and very fun. He just brings a very relaxed vibe to class, you can talk to him like a friend rather than like a teacher, he makes you very comfortable. The work was also easy but fun...then again i love free writing

He's a cool guy but I didn't like the whole powerpoint presentation thing. Only teacher I've heard assigning that in a 122 class, would have preffered just papers. But all in all the class is okay.

He's cool! He's funny and a nice guy, which helps me relax when learning. As long as you do your part by doing the work, he will be there for you. I fine he is patient and helpful.

Marc is the man! I had him for both eng. 121 and 122 I really enjoyed him. He is very laid back and lets you write about what you want which makes the writing a lot more fun! TAKE HIM HES AMAZING!!

I had him for Eng 121, and years later I return to Brookdale I and him again for Eng 122. He is very helpful. Wonderful personality as a teacher. Teaching english is his Passion. He make learning very fun. I had him twice and I don't regret it. Thanks Marc.

this guy is the easiest teacher you will ever have. he doesn't care about anything. we never take tests. we write papers but you can pretty much hand them in when you want and they are not even graded! we do basically nothing in class too. its great. its a good time to catch up on some sleep! you have to take him! you will not regret it

He does care and yes his class is easy but that is because he adds no stress it is a great class and you do leard the proper way to write and research a paper. He is a great guy but if you take advantage you fail.....

Okay, i took marc b,c everyone said he was so great laid back whatever. yes he is very nice and he is veryyyy laidback. i did not hand in any papers until the last day and got a b+.. if you need a teacher that has stern rules and isnt really chill then he is soo not the one for youu. All in all he was a really great guy just dont like his teaching

this is not even a english class. you do all your required work at home. in class all he talks about is wise woman climate change etc. nothing to do with research...going to class is pointless...i'd rather stay home and do my work

COOLEST METRO I have ever encountered

HE is a great teacher and very very laid back. i took him for 121 and now taking him again in Fall.

if you want to e challenged mentally and spiritually you must not eave Brookdale without taking Bonagura's class. The first two classes are rough and a little strange but stick it out. by week 3 you will be running to his class.

If you do your work and your papers, and dont miss a lot of classes all you have to do when you had in your portfolio is say that you think you deserve an A and you will get it

Professor B is the very best! He cares about genuine learning and while he is extremely understand of every student and their style and approach to learning, there is no way to get around learning and working in this class. I learned so much, and he was nice enough to offer extra credit too. So n pressure. He teaches students to think critically.

Marc is a very inspirational professor and that is what English and Creative Writing is all about. Great professor. I felt encouraged to write. Marc thank you for encouraging me to take advanced course work at NYU.

MARC, is the man. His class is very easy, because he isn't a deadline guy, as long as you have everything done by the end of the semester you're fine. He doesn't really "teach" anything, BUT he does inspire you and tries to bring out your emotions. I was unsure exactly how he felt about my papers, but I received an A so I'm not complaining.

I had Prof Marc for 2 semesters.The Eng.122,was of a very unconventional topic, "Wise Woman Healing". At first it was difficult to understand but as time went on, you began thinking outside of the box.Seeing the mental challenge that was set before you.Definite critical thinking.Do the research and papers and you will do well.

Very easy A. As long as your work is done and kept in your folder for your final portfolio you will do great. topics are not hard at all. you don't need to buy a book. He is very helpful and always gives positive feedback on your work.

Marc is a very interesting professor. I took him 2 semesters. As long as you do the work he will give you an A. Marc is very spiritual & he is into his herbs. I'm a fan of diversity. I like to hear different peoples views on topics & Marc will give you that.

Marc is an amazing teacher. I had a lot of family issues going on, and he was my most understanding professor. He would have us journal to him, and always wrote back to us on our papers expressing his concern or just giving advice. He is an easy grader, very helpful with clearing things up for you. I loved him, and I'm taking him again! DTake him!

Marc is so laid back and chill. Attendance or leaving early doesn't really matter. He grades everything as a whole at the end of the course. Easy grader its impossible to fail his class. Never wrote more then 3 essays in the two classes Ive taken with him.

Very boring class but all you have to do is basically show up to a few classes and you'll pass. Only 3 papers and you work on them all during class time. Definitely would recommend him if your looking for an easy A.

Marc is a very laidback, wise guy. We wrote 4 essays for the entire semester and they were worked on in class. This class gives you a chance just to be yourself, and there are a lot of chances to write about personal topics. Mr. Bonagura really respects this aspect and gives great feedback on how to improve on yourself as a writer, as well as giving a lot of good inspiration with topics you may normally not write about

Prof. Bonagura is the best professor in Brookdale. This kind of quality makes it feel like we're in a Ivy Leage instead of a community college. He has a lot of expertise when it comes to life, and somehow he manages to include that in his classes. Mr. Bonagura is laid back, and cares a lot about every single student in class. I'm greatful!

Best professor to take your first semester at Brookdale. No doubt about It.

The nicest professor ever, doesn't go too fast, the lectures are pretty boring but you don't really have to pay attention. The only assignments he assigned was weekly letters checking in and about 5 essays in total.

He is an exceptional professor who delivers captivating lectures and genuinely cares about the success of all his students. He consistently strives to inspire his students in every lecture. Above all, he exudes a warm and personable demeanor, making him someone I would love to hang out with.

Everything he wants is broken down at a very reasonable easy pace. Highly recommended! Taking his advanced class in the Spring Semester, he's that good!

Love this guy

The class was super easy, he's so understanding. I have a 20 month old son who's been sick and I had alot of appointments so he'd give me some extra time to get some of the work done. He's a great profressor and super caring for our personal lives. Definitely take his class if you want someone easy going and understanding.His work is also super fun

Super approachable and always willing to help if you have questions. His assignments are straightforward but really helpful for learning the material. Very understanding of student situations and generous with deadlines. The class was manageable but you still learn a lot. Would definitely take another class with him.

Seriously, best professor ever. He is so sweet and truly cares for his students. If you don't do something right, he will guide you through it until you get it. I recommend him to everyone I know. If i could take this class over again, I would.

I took Creative Writing with Professor Bonagura, and it was a great experience. His teaching style is very relaxed, and his class was not demanding at all, I am not a writer at all, but this class made be a better writer for sure. Overall, he is a great teacher, and I would take his class again if I could.

Professor B is awesome! He's funny, makes class interesting, down to earth, and genuinely cares about his students. He gives great feedback, and his class has quickly become my favorite even though I already loved reading and writing.

Great Professor, yaps a lot about random stuff, but there's a lot of free time during class to work on your assignments, so it's an even exchange.
