I enjoyed the class. I found the class pretty straight forward. If you read the material, participate, and hand in your assignments on time you should have no problem. Marc is a highly experienced marketeer. His industry experience and examples helped to bridge theoretical concepts to read world outcomes. He uses a lot of case studies and I find these studies more interested than text book readings!

Duey is a good teacher! I learned a lot in his class. Incredibly nice guy and makes class fun and interesting. Throws parties 4 students at his mansion haha. Some times the class will lack structure (hw assignments deadlines etc).He will pick favorites, usually the biggest talkers. He tends to brag about his financial success lol!

Duey is an easy going prof!!!!!! If you do all assignments you can get an A!! However he is very lax with assignment due dates which can sometimes be non- encouraging to complete them!!!

Duey is an incredibly intelligent and successful businessperson. His real world experience and success in the marketing industry is an incredible resource and value to all students of marketing. This is my second semester taking Duey and it's safe to say he is one of my favorite teachers at West Chester in my four years of attendance. He has great experience in the business world. He does push his students but he is reasonable.His classes aren't even a drag to go to. He always keeps things interesting.

Professor Duey is not the kind of professor that is out there to get you. I would definitely recommend his class to anyone. He's the kind of person that just wants you to understand what's going on and to apply classroom knowledge to real world examples. I enjoyed his class very much!

Professor Duey is a great guy. Class is easy but you learn a lot. Classes on every chapter but all online with 2 chances. A couple small assignments throughout semester and a final project at the end which he helps with. One of the best teachers at West Chester.

He's a little out there..and a bit different but definitely interesting and keeps your learning and paying attention with little effort on your part. Professor Duey was definitely the best professor I've had at WCU. Very funny guy with loads of real world business experience and successes. Was a 3hr class, but it was never boring. Even if you are not a marketing major, you will learn a lot about what it takes to be successful in business. Best part of the course was the marketshare game.

Lots of real world learning and lots of fun. Amazing use of props in class help with learning. Also uses clickers and simulation. All around a great class. Highly recommended.

This professor offers his own life experience and will give you real insights on marketing. I learned more from his stories than the book. He should offer the slides so that you can read them on your own but shouldn't use them to teach. He is a very nice guy.

My favorite professor I've had at WC so far. Actually has real world experience in Marketing and shares a lot of that with the class. He really wants everyone to succeed. Easy A!! There are no tests, only a few online quizzes every week and a group project in MarketShare. He is occasionally late but gives everyone who waits for him extra credit

Duey didn't teach me anything about Marketing. Every class is him standing up there just bragging about himself, his wealth, or some story of how he met someone famous. Read the book he makes you buy, I learned everything from there. 20 10 question 10 point quizzes, one final exam, simulation on MarketShare, ATTENDANCE is key. He was alright.

I don't get bad reviews, he was a fun professor. He definitely talks about himself a lot, but they are interesting stories. Quizzes every week on D2L, just use the textbook. Gives like 3-4 projects that you WILL get good grades on. You can opt out of the final if you have an A-, but it is EASY to get an A. Barely answers emails tho. We love Marc.

Prof Duey means well. He's a good guy and a good teacher. The flaws he has are he is always late for classes. He also just keeps on talking without stopping for air. It's hard to pay attention to him as he just keeps talking and he also mumbles at times so you lose focus but other than that do the assignments and quizzes and you should be good.

Lectures are entertaining to listen to. He usually asks the class for a current event, and he can always relate it back to marketing. He allows you to resubmit your project assignments until you receive the grade you want. There are a few chances for extra credit. Your grade is really in your own hands as long as you complete the work assigned.

I freaking love love this guy. He's funny, has great lectures, easy homework and quizzes, and overall a nice human being. 100% would have him again.

You have to be a brick not to pass this class let alone get an A. Duey has embraced new age learning, he doesnt stress kids out by giving exams, just weekly open note quizzes that are taken online. He made it very easy to learn and I retained a lot with him.

Marc Duey is an amazing professor and has a great way of teaching through the use of many analogies. He is always open to talk to students after class and trys to keep attention by the use of props, coffee and best of all munchkins. He does case studies for you to apply the knowledge you learned in class to the assignment.

This professor does a good job getting participation in the class and using real-world examples, the quizzes are relatively easy as long as you look at the notes, the quizzes were open notes. There is an option to redo assignments to get a better grade. He was a nice professor to take and would recommend him to anyone taking mkt250.

Professor Duey was by far one of my favorite professors to have! He kept his lectures fun & interesting the whole time! There were 4 large assignments spaced throughout the semester and then the rest was short quiz & attendance grades. Professor Duey was great and it was super nice of him to bring in coffee & donuts to every 8 am lecture!

Duey is the absolute man. Everything he taught had a real world tie-in which made it, not only more interesting, but also more worth paying attention to. His "Quest to 360" is the smartest thing I've seen a professor at this school do: earn 360 points before the final, you get an A. If you apply yourself, you will get an A and enjoy doing it.

Prof. Duey is the best. From day 1, he makes it very clear what he expects from you. There are ~20 easy textbook quizzes and only 4 major assignments. Attendance IS mandatory. Very easy to maintain an A+ in this class. Workload was very manageable and there were extra credit opportunities if you need it. Final is NOT required. Take him!!

Loved professor Duey

Fun guy. It's super easy to end with an A+: 20 quizzes, four assignments, and attendance points. Some of the assignments were unclear (the examples on D2L did not match what he wanted us to turn in), and they weren't graded until all 4 were submitted so that was scary. Plenty of extra credit points though to make up for any deductions.

Professor Duey is a very caring professor and deeply cares about his students. He brought in Dunkin' Donuts every morning (our section was at 8am), and he extended due dates multiple times because of long weekends, and even sporting events. His class consisted of lectures for each chapter, a quiz online for each chapter, and then a few assignments.

Professor Duey was a great professor. Only had his class once a week at 8am and every week he would bring in Dunkin. Only graded by quizzes which are all online, attendance, and four easy assignments. Instructions were sometimes unclear but he mainly graded based on effort. If you achieve enough points the final is optional. Recommend taking.

Professor Duey was an amazing professor. His lectures are very helpful and understanding and I would definitely recommend taking this class if you need to take Marketing 250. 2 ten question quizzes that are due every Monday and four assignments throughout the semester.

He is a cool professor, Attendance is mandatory but on the bright side he brings coffee and donuts to every class :) Four Assignments in total plus mini quizzes, I recommend taking him, very manageable work.

Really great professor who cares about his students. Easy to pass his class as long as you do the assignments. The lectures are great, but you have to focus as he typically uses examples that are unrelated to the students.

One of the best professors I've ever had. Super nice and inspirational, has a lot of real life examples and stories to help understand the material. There are 4 major assignments, and quizzes 1-2 times a week that can be taken online. If you have an A you're excused from the final.

He's a really cool guy with a lot of knowledge about marketing! All of the quizzes were online (10 questions each), and if you have an A in the class already you get to skip the final exam. Attendance is an online quiz with a password. Even though it was an 8 am it was fun because of his personality and because he brings Dunkin!!

Starts every class with a music video and just a great guy

Sometimes class feels long, but Professor Duey is great. Always brings Dunkin and plays music videos. Class was often interesting and connected to the real world. Quizzes are take-home and easy, based on the textbook. A couple big assignments, but pretty easy. Wasn't totally clear on how to do the assignments, but you pick up on it.

THE BEST professor you may ever get for marketing. Very good explanations, great projects, lectures that are worth attending and participating in — coming from someone who loves sleep, lol. If you have an A, he will exclude you from the final exam, definitely would choose him again. Great professor and person.

Professor Duey is the best teacher I have had while attending college. His delivery during the lecture was always energetic even at 8am, he is very understanding when it comes to due dates and questions you have. He actually teaches and cares about his students.

Really good guy, genuinely cares about the future of his students, does a lot to make the class more engaging.

Marc Duey is one of the best professors I've had at wcu. He really cares about his students and wants everyone to succeed. He is engaging and passionate even at 8am for the lecture. The assignments are super straightforward and really interesting to do. I would 100% take one of his classes again

Great teacher, only a few assignments grades, go to class so you don't need to take final, great lectures.

Best professor so far in the first two years at WCU. Better come to class. Better ask questions. Assignments are based on templates that you need to use, otherwise it will be confusing. If you miss classes and don't ask questions you will be confused. Do quizzes and assignments and attend class, a good grade is guaranteed. Insightful professor.

Duey was a great and funny professor who brought Dunkin in every week. Although every class was lecture-heavy, it was somewhat hard not to get distracted and stay focused. Every assignment was online, and there was a chapter quiz every week.
