The absolute best professor I have ever taken! I transferred from NY and spent 2 years at Chapman and by far Fawaz is a top notch expert in business. He actually lectures if that make sense anymore. Totally recommend him and wish he was teaching other classes at Chapman!

Every word spoken is made sure to relate to the real world unlike other professors. if you want to not only get a good grade and actually have practical information that will make you money in the real world unlike most classes which is just book after book then this is the one you need to take. He makes sure you are fully prepared for your future.

Fantastic professor and is always there for you even after semester is over. Group project was the best part of the course. very organized and well prepared. I am actually auditing one of his courses now and love learning the practical part of business and not just the theory.

The entire class was literally a group project and one of my more enjoyable group projects (the business school gives a lot of group projects tbh). His lectures were always engaging and you learn a lot of things that don't directly relate to international marketing. He genuinely wants you to succeed in the real world!

I wish I knew marketing was that much fun so I could major in it. the professor made learning very interesting and related topics to real world events which was awesome. He is hilarious and fun to learn from but be aware of pop quizzes because this is how he takes attendance. I would take him again.

very demanding course but with the help of the professor especially outside the class it is an easy pass. miss class and you will lose the A. my only complaint about this prof is that he does not give make up tests no matter what the reason is so if you are the type that simply misses class lecture this is not the prof for you. Negotiation is by far my favorite course at Chapman EVER. the prof was amazing and I will take another course with him again anytime.

One of my favorite professors at chapman. He made the subject of international marketing fun and easy to learn. If you pay attention during class then you will do well on his tests. Did not read the book but studied his notes / powerpoints. He always offers extra help if needed. Need to be in class or you won't know certain things on test.

I highly recommend you take negotiation before graduation. this class should be a core and not elective class and the professor was amazing.

Prof Fawaz is so entertaining and funny. He is very passionate about marketing. I learned so much from this class, even in the short time of 4 weeks for interterm. If you take this class in interterm, you have a midterm and final (15 questions each - T&F) & one group presentation (3-6min). He let's you decide what you want to do for the project.

I now know why this professor get such great ratings, he is simply awesome. you may not like his policy of no cell phones or computers during lectures but after the first week, you will be so engaged in the lectures that you forget about your social media addiction. If there is one thing I did not like is the fact that he calls on you randomly.

Mark really helps you apply thought & analytics into viewing a business. Makes you think outside of the box. This class was always so interesting to attend. Try to skim the chapters before class bc he will give random pop quizzes. His main group project is pretty difficult to get an A on but as long as you so the work, you'll get an A on the final

Had him for interterm and it was extremely helpful for real life. The interterm course is very manageable and pretty interesting. It gets dry towards the end because it's lecture heavy He breaks the terms down so they are interesting, easy to remember, and they are actually used in the real world. Downside, is often we went on random tangents.

ok so I just went to an event on campus and this professor was awarded the Most Inclusive Professor and Best Teaching Style of the year and I totally agree as his class was extremely interactive and engaging. What an amazing entrepreneurship professor! the class was great and I wish I had taken other classes with him as his students from Marketing classes did really well on the project and some of them actually started their businesses from the class. I even got a job with one of them so how awesome is that? Highly recommend this inspirational guy!

so I took a class with Dr. Fawaz 3 years ago and my current boss at the law firm who is amazing had taken him a decade before I did. How I found out was funny as I was laying out my strategy to negotiate on behalf of our client and my boss said: wow, that is exactly what my old professor would do, and sure enough it was Fawaz. Awesome professor.

My capstone course and this amazing professor summed up my entire MBA experience in few weeks. You don't realize what other professors missed teaching you until you take Fawaz. He lectures heavy and participation is mandatory so be aware.
