The toughest course at Rollins, but very interesting and diverse esp. liked the Harvard Business case. Very knowledgably, knows what he is talking about, has real world experience.
I liked the course, also too much work, but very helpful. He was always very enthusiastic and outgoing.h

Best teacher at Rollins, final was very fair
This class was very tough, but the professor was great! He is so smart, helpful, and has great enthusiasm for the class and his students. He is very cool and he is the best!
this was an unbelievable hard class, no doubt a weed out class for the major. He is a rediculous professor and asks a little to much of his students...
The course was hard, but I've learned a lot. The professor is very intelligent and knows many things about other cultures. He helped his students and was very fair.
Very helpful and interesting course, very real world focused (Harvard Cases), cute professor.
Very hard. Avoid professor if possible
This class is so hard!!! But Dr. Fetscherin is probably the best professor at Rollins. You will more work than you ever imagined, but it's all great stuff, extremely pertinent to the business world, nothing is boring busy work. 85% of the class is group work. If you take the class, make sure your other courses for the sem. are easy!!
This class is very hard, and is a lot of work, but it's all relevant to the business world. Make sure your other classes during the semester are easy because you will spend a lot of time on this class. Be sure to get a good group in the class b/c 80% of your grades are based on group-work. Make outlines as you read, this will help for the final
This class is too much work but it is worth it. He knows what he is teaching and he will contribute all what he knows to your career trough his class. Make sure you get a good group because if you dont...... you are screwed.
Probably best Professor at Rollins College. Most interesting and useful course ever. He seems to love technology...very up-to-date course.
Best prof at Rollins!
Quite a lot of work, but important one. Many different projects and assignments but all relevant. Best Professor so far. Very knowledgable, fair but a hard grader. If you get an A, you at least know you deserve it!
The most challenging class at Crummer, but probably one of the best prof! A lot of team work, pick a good team! Sim Game and book slides are very useful.
Fetscherin is a very helpful teacher who is not only extremely knowledgeable in the classroom but also helps to groom his students through hardwork.
He was the best prof I had at Crummer. Although challenging, the course was at the level of difficulty I expect from a top−ranked program. He was more than willing to work with all students, including those that routinely disrespected him in class. My classmates were the only complaint I had about this class...Best course I have ever taken.
Cutting edge examples that other classes sometimes lack. Most classes at Crummer have been fairly easy but this class pushed us and some of the class appreciated it and others did not like being pushed out of their comfort zone. I think we need more professors like Fetscherin. GREAT CLASS if not the BEST class in crummer!!!!
I loved this Branding Class, the best class ever at rollins.
Make sure you get a good group because if not you are screwed for the whole semester. Pretty tough class, but learned a lot. Totally worth all the work, but very time consuming. Always pay attention and never be late...not even by one second.
Dry clean your suits, fix your alarm clock, lots (I mean lots) of pen and papers, make sure you choose the best team ever, and maybe you can get a B. The toughest however most fulfilling class at Rollins. You will not get an A but it's worthwhile. Marc Fetcherin is one of the best lecturer at Rollins and if you are a Business major he is a must!!!
If you work hard enough and choose a great group you can get a good grade. Put a lot of time and effort into the SIM game and make sure your presentations are PERFECT. Managed to get an A- in the class
The best professor at Rollins, hands down! He knows what he is talking about, and will make you work HARD! It is absolutely worth the hard work!
He is by far the best teacher at Rollins. He will make you work HARD, but it is totally worth it. You will earn so much more with him. He is more than willing to help his students and is genuinely interested in what he teaches. Definitely recommend taking a class with him at least once!
Great course! Amazing teacher
The international Marketing Course was a lot of reading, cases, and he is a hard (but fair) grader. A learn a lot, probably the best professor at Rollins. The cases and frameworks are very useful! Take him if you want to learn.
Read the textbook and ask questions so Fetscherin knows who you are and he will keep that in mind when grading. Tough, tough, tough course but I learned so much not only about marketing but random stuff he talks about. Very knowledgeable. Stay on top of your work.
Love this class! A lot of work and super hard grader but at the end got a decent grade. Many examples and the framework page is very useful. Textbook he used had some mistakes.
Professor Fetscherin is not a hard professor - he clearly outlines everything that is expected.. Although, he is probably the only professor at Rollins that challenges you. He is meticulous but you will learn and grow as a person by having him. No professor at Rollins has a more successful background - learn from his experiences!
LOVE the Branding Class. One of the best professors at Rollins! Very interactive, engaging and interesting (student have to present a branding related news at the beginning of the class). very useful. Make me want to work in Marketing
Global brand management was my favorite class at Rollins. Wish he would teach another elective I could take before graduating next spring. Best professor at Rollins. Hard but fair.
Very interesting, but somewhat difficult course. Dr. Fetscherin really challenges your intellectual abilities in order to make you work to your full potential. He rewards hard work and he is willing to meet outside of class if you have any questions or concerns. Overall, I would definitely recommend the course.
Dr. Fetch is by far the best professor i have had during my time at Rollins. He is constantly very professional while maintaining his ability to relate well and even sometimes make the odd joke with students. His ability to portray the class material is A+ and this made the course (which is somewhat challenging) much more enjoyable. Excellent A+
Excellent quality professor. Dr Fetscherin is extremely knowledgeable and takes his time to relay the information. Extremely approachable and always willing to help. By far the best professor i have had at Rollins. Tough, but if you do the work, and stay engaged in class you will get a good grade. Excellent professor! Thoroughly recommend! A++
Great teacher, nice and open minded, always willing to help! Genuinely cares about the students.
One of the best classes with the best teacher. Confirmed my decision of my major and the field I am looking to get into.
This was one of two classes I took with Dr. Fetscherin, and I learned more in these courses about business than most others, as I'm an International Business major. He has extensive experience making his curriculum very credible, and is always available for help outside of class. Overall, he is an excellent and knowledgable professor.
Although Dr. Fetscherin is a very tough professor, you will learn an immense amount of information. From Harvard Case Studies to a Marketing Plan, he prepares you for the future. I would recommend taking his class if you are really interested in business and building a strong relationship with a very acclaimed professor in the business community.
He is a very helpful professor with a strong academic background, fair but tough grader, very structured and organized. Assignments are set up so you learn.
Although he is a very hard grader and can be very critical of your work, he is a great teacher that is always willing to help you do well on assignments. His class taught me a lot about marketing and I enjoyed it a lot.
INB 337: International Marketing was a greatchallenging course (think group case studies plus managing a Marketing Plan). Dr. Fetscherin also made it clear that participation was important so find the time to read class assignments! Overall, I loved this course, he's a great teacher, and I appreciate the help he was always willing to give.
Dr. Fetscherin's class has been the most valuable class in my college career. He shares his great knowledge about his past experiences in the field of marketing and management. We are currently doing a marketing plan that challenges you to do intense research of your company. The way he conducts his classes is inspiring and commendable.
He was my adviser for one year and I was in touch with him a lot after that as well. He is very professional and provides you with all the things that you will ever need. If something needs to get done quickly, he can help you to get it through because he knows many people at Rollins. However, be ready to be on top of your things all the time.
Dr. F. is one of the best professors at Rollins. But I need to warn you, you need to be prepared for class, do your reading and participate. But if you do that, you will get the max out. He is very professional, fair, very knowledgeable and available if you need help.
Dr. Fetscherin is willing to help if you ask for it! He is always clear and concise with class lectures and with what he expects from us. He taught in a fluid manner; made sure to re-discuss concepts we didn't understand well. You should def put the effort in class readingsgroup assignments. He is an amazing prof - take more than one class w him!
Dr. Marc Fetscherin is by far one of the best professors at Rollins. His extensive knowlage and enthusiasm for his field is visible in his exceptional lectures. I truly enjoyed his challenging classes and would not hesitate to take any class of his in the future.
DON'T BE LATE - you'll get marked as absent, he's Swiss so manages time like a Swiss clock :P Do the readings, he'll quiz the whole class if he finds someone hasn't read. You WILL learn helpful material in his class that you can take with you beyond this class. His marketing plan assignment is great.
Great professor. Holds his students to high standards. He's very knowledgeable, and wants his students to succeed in his class while preparing them for the future.
Incredibly knowledgable, international marketing is definitely his area of expertise. He expects you to reciprocate the same level of time and respect he gives the class. I have learned so much from him and his class!
I recommend taking International Marketing with Dr. Fetscherin. He is extremely knowledgeable and brings the best work out of his students. He is also very approachable and willing to offer input.
Probably one of the most interesting professors I've had at Rollins College. Not only do you learn a lot, but he makes you work for your grade. And making you work isn't even hard work, just allowing you to see what you can do with your knowledge and creativeness with a little bit of help. Wish I had taken him sooner -would totally take him again!
His class was definitely one of the most useful in the INB major, but he really makes you work for it. There is a lot of reading and a lot of work involved, but you learn a lot and all of it is really applicable.
Don't EVER be late and always be on top of your work. Dr. Fetscherin is an invaluable professor of the INB department. Take his classes if you are at all interested in the Marketing field. He will push you because he believes in your potential, but you need to be prepared to be pushed.
I have taken two of Prof. Fetscherin's classes. His classes are not easy, but he is one of those that you will not only learn a lot from, but also will make you work for a good grade. Ultimately, if you put the work in you will be able to get an A in the class.
Favorite professor in International Business, if you put in the time and effort you will definitely take out a lot of valuable factors that will help you in your professional career. He cares about his students, and expects respect in return. Highly recommend all the classes he offers: Int'l Marketing, Global Branding, Market Research.
Dropped my INB major but still enrolled in his Brand Management class because I appreciate his work ethic and dedication to students producing high quality work with real world functionality. Easily the best INB professor at Rollins.
Excellent professor, one of the best I've had so far. Don't be late!! You can get a good grade if you work hard, and he is really great about setting reasonable deadlines. I really got a lot out of his lectures too.
Dr. Marc Fetscherin is one of the most unique professors in the International Business Department. He might come off as a tough professor but he means well. Unlike other professors in other courses, you'll actually enjoy what he has to teach in this one. His sense of humor, knowledge and enthusiasm for this course inspires you to learn more everyda
Great professor, very knowledgable, expert in marketing. Interesting lectures and class discussions. Demands high precision and great quality of work. Learned the most in my college career in his class, and probably work the hardest. One of my favorite professors at Rollins! Don't be late for his class!
Courses instructed by Professor Fetscherin are challenging, but by far the most engaging! He's very passionate about the material and about each student's success, at Rollins and beyond. He will never ask you to do something that you can't do. It may seem difficult at first, but put forth the effort and it will be worth it!
Dr. Fetscherin is an exceptional professor. He is willing to meet with students outside of class during both office hours and appointment. He is a tough grader and gives pop quizzes, but as long as you read the chapter and pay attention in class, you will definitely pass. He is also a pretty hilarious guy. He provides you with the tools to pass.
I highly recommend taking a course with Dr Fetscherin. Whilst his assignments are lengthly and not last minute projects, I can guarantee that if you meet with him and follow his advice, your papers will be A material and definitely something to use to get an internship or job with a company!
Dr. Fetscherin is one of the best professors I have taken classes with. Very knowledgeable and passionate about his field which makes classes very interesting. Tough professor but if you put in time and effort you will do great. He's always willing to meet with students to provide guidance and feedback. Highly recommend taking his classes!
I recommend taking any class with Dr. Fetscherin. Classes and lectures are very informative, interesting, and enjoyable. He's very knowledgeable, passionate, and dedicated to the success of his students. Challenging classes but if you put in the effort you'll get an A. Everything you learn & do in his classes will be very helpful for your future.
Stressed out since syllabus day, however, if you keep up with the calendar and schedules appointments on time, you shall do fine. Definitely not a easy class and requires effort, but still passable and very inspiring.
Dr. Fetscherin is one of the best professors in the International Business Department. He is very knowledgeable about the subject and very passionate about what he does, and I've learned a lot from his class. He is very approachable and willing to help, only if you put the time and effort into his class.
I took his Marketing class and it was great - probably one of the best professors at Rollins. With his background he teaches you the stuff you actually need to know. The marketing plan is a great paper to show for applications, but he makes you earn it and demands perfect format.
Dr. Fetscherin is definitely one of the best teachers at Rollins. He expects a lot, but he also available for extra help whenever it's needed. He is very knowledgable, engaging, and motivating.
Great, great class not only for marketing but business in general. You leave the class with an incredibly useful body of work that you can use in interviews, internships, etc. One of the smartest guys on campus, and very funny and enjoyable if you come in open minded. Get to know him and your life will improve immensely. Would definitely take again
Dr. Fetscherin is incredibly smart and knowledgeable of the subject. If you are thinking of pursuing a career in Marketing, you should definitely take a class with him. Lectures were very interesting and engaging. The BAR project was challenging and long but worth it and a great addition to a portfolio if youdo well on it. Always available tohelp.
I had pleasure to be a part of Dr. Fetscherin's elective in Fall 2015. It was one of the toughest yet most rewarding experiences I had during my undergraduate time at Rollins. He will push you to your limits, he will make you think and do work, but in the end, he is arguably the most professional and knowledgeable professors in the faculty. BEST!
Dr. Fetscherin is by far the most knowledgeable and experienced professor I have ever had in a class. His class International Marketing Management was one of the hardest courses I have taken yet I have learned and gained so much experience. His grading is tough and he expects a lot of his students. He helps you build discipline and organization.
Probably one of the best professors I have ever had. He will push you way out of your comfort, but will prepare you in the same time for the real world. His class is definitely challenging, but he is always available and willing to further help.
MF is the best teacher I have ever had and also the brightest person I have ever met. Fetscherin's class is challenging but completely doable you just need to plan yourself and you will succeed. I wouldn't even think about taking another class with him!
Professor Fetscherin was terrific at making all things accessible through the virtual world. His class is a little work heavy but is very doable as long as you keep up with the quizzes and reading. There is an extensive assignment at the end of the semester, but it is a collective of all the things you learn collectively throughout the semester.
Dr. Fetscherin is an excellent professor, smart and knowledgeable of the subject! Involving a variety of real-world project work, his classes are invaluable if you are thinking of pursuing a career in Marketing.
Dr. Fetscherin's marketing class is essential for anyone who may be interested in marketing. Although his class is fast paced, he provides all the necessary knowledge to complete his class and creates a comfortable and positive learning environment. This is one of my favorite classes I have taken at Rollins!
Global Brand Management provided me with the in-depth knowledge of branding and how companies use different strategies and marketing ploys to cultivate a customer base. The two projects at the end of the semester were very beneficial and allowed us to sum up our learning for the semester. It is worth it to take a class with Dr. Fetscherin!
Dr. Fetscherin's INB337 was my favorite undergraduate course at Rollins. Dr. Fetscherin (and his courses) push you to step up to the challenge, his courses are difficult but prove extremely applicable and rewarding. I left this course feeling more knowledgeable and more equipped to be successful in my field.
The work I have done in Dr. Fetscherin's classes (INB380 & INB337) has been the most beneficial work to my preparation to be successful in the corporate world. Dr. Fetscherin was always accessible/willing to help. He expects a lot out of his students, but guides you to deliver in the right way, he is very motivational.
I've had the pleasure of taking two classes with Dr. Fetscherin during my marketing concentration, and his lectures are always engaging and interactive, with discussions that encourage everyone to participate. He's an incredibly knowledgeable professor who shares his expertise in a way that makes learning both effective and enjoyable.
I loved the professor's teaching style: engaging, structured, and challenging in the best way. You actually learn the material through frequent quizzes on random frameworks, and the simulation helped apply everything in a way that really stuck!
Dr. Fetscherin‘s class was really interesting and I learned a lot about marketing. The marketing simulation game, which is an essential part of the course, let‘s you apply the theory you learned hands on. He is always accessible outside of class and helped me get into graduate school.
ASSIGNS HIS OWN BOOK i mean how do you think he's gonna teach?
Heads up to anyone taking this course, the majority of the grade is based on a virtual marketing simulation that I believe is from the 1990s, and the final exam. And yes, he only teaches his own books/materials. This is also what we're tested on and basically all we talk about during class. So this course definiteeeeely felt like an echo chamber.
I don't regret taking this class but I would not take another class with this Prof again. You will get through it, but you won't learn much. A lot of memorization but once it's over there's not really any takeaways.
If you're taking this class definitely make a study group to prepare for the quizzes and final exam. The most important thing is making sure you get a good grade on the Marketing Simulation. While I did pretty well in this course it was difficult. The worst part is I feel like I didn't learn anything despite all of the difficulty.
Excellent professor! I really enjoyed his lectures throughout the semester—they were engaging and informative. Every project and assignment was focused on real-world applications, which I found incredibly valuable. It helped me understand how the concepts we learned apply outside the classroom.
NB337 was an engaging and interesting class. Although there were a a lot of framework quizzes, I finished the course feeling that I had learned a lot of valuable marketing concepts and content. I definitely want to take another class with Professor F.
Professor F's teaching style is a great experience for every dedicated student - half compelling lecture, half hands-on marketing experience with a focus on effective, responsible AI usage. Professor will support his students in and outside his course. Clearly has a lot of marketing experience which he conveys in every class. Would take again!
Just not a good class and not a good prof
