Learned an entire new way to think about Sport. Many ideas challegened what I had thought sports were. The teacher covered every controversy with care and attention always telling you when something was "his opinion." The book was very challenging but the teacher tried to be fair in explaining the author's point of view. A great class!

Class discusses American sports and how it impacts us the teacher is great. I never considered myself a great sports fan but Mr. P. always lets you know how people like Joe Louis, Jackie Robinson and Ali not only changed sports but the country his class on the 1980 USA hockey team really left me with the idea that sports do matter! he is a very helpful teacher and explains things so that you understand and remember them. His tests arnt hard you just have to be organized and look at the material. He wants students to pass hes a nice guy.

The greatest teacher i have ever had. He will give you every oppertunity to pass, and if you dont then school might not be for you. He will help you with registering for classes as well if you ever get in a pinch. I must have taken atleast 4 classes with him over 3 years. Without his help i wouldnt have graduated when i did. graduating next week and the two years I spent at ucc were greattttttttttt professor p helps all his students to earn a college degree and his classes are great college classes i did an internship in which i learned lots i recommend the sport mgmt program it is a super super program and professor p is the best

professor p really helped me get my act back together. i struggled in h.s and did not care much but after getting involved in his program and classes and counseling he really inspired me to be better and never gave up on me. take his classes and i promise you that you will never be disappointed

Mr. P is a good hearted man who is very passionate when he teaches. He just expects you to com to class prepared and ready to discuss the topic of the day. Know the terms and show that you care and you will pass. Interesting class discussions and kept it fun. Law is a tough subject just study for the exams and you will be fine. No surprises on exam

Professor P literally changed my life. I am working on my masters thesis at a private school that he helped me get into after finishing at Union. I was not a great student in h.s. but taking sport mangement changed my goals and now I am about to get my masters degree and start my career as an athletic director. love the man and all he did for me.

Professor P was definitely a solid professor for me. The one thing I would ABSOLUTELY recommend is that you bring a laptop to the class. The homework that he gives to you is usually 60-75 questions. With a laptop it took me usually 1:30-2 hours to finish, so it's definitely time consuming. Easy class to pass, his tests aren't hard.

Professor Postiglione is a great philosopher. His class is easy basically reading articles and watching videos where you will use philosophy to respond to his question. Quizzes are open book, and the class final is a short essay about what you learned in class. Take him you wouldn't regret it.

Show up, participate, and do the work. Not an easy A, there is a lot of work but he teaches in a way that is easy to understand. Would recommend anyone to take one of his many classes if you have a chance.

Professor Postiglione is an amazing teacher! He gives amazing feedback when it comes to your work. Gave us an article to read and I told him I didn't understand got an 7 ended up boosting my grade for being honest. He gives a lot of work and was actually pretty hard to keep up with if taking as a summer course (took 2 classes and worked full-time)

I took professor Postiglione's online philosophy course for the Summer. Summer classes are hard but online is even harder. He made sure that this class would be a breeze. Yes, there is an assignment due almost ever day but the feedback on each assignment from him is great and he grades very generously. He is very caring and makes you want to pass.

Amazing professor and person! He might seem rude at times but he really just gets frustrated at students who are lazy and immature. Professor Postiglione gets my vote for the hall of fame

I took Professor Postiglione's online philosophy class for the winter semester. He was by far the most organized professor I have taken thus far. All assignments were posted ahead of time and he always gives great feedback. There was a lot of work, but the assignments were easy & the quizzes are all open book. If you do the work, it is an easy A.

Taking this class is was like a full-time job, he gives endless assignments, and many times it felt like an army boot camp. He is definitely a knowledgeable professor, but very strict, and sometimes rude. If you are really interested in philosophy and is ready to give your ALL, go for it. Not an easy A and makes you WORK for it.

I failed the first time I took Philosophy at this institution, due to heavy loads of coursework. So I decided to retake it for the winter and to take Postiglione online. I was pleasantly surprised by the organization and the light amount of work. He graded generously and gave amazing feedback. I got an A+. Postiglione is the way to go.

Very good professor. Thoroughly enjoyed going to class for the first time ever. Easy to understand and although he's a tough grader, if your in his class everytime and don't skip you'll definitely get a good grade
