Who the hell let this guy start teaching?! I dropped his class after like 2 weeks. He's hard as hell and I could barely understand what he was saying.

If you dont like to study, dont take this class. His test consist of essays, shorts answer, and T/F. He can barely speak english and he is not a nice man. Your expected to go to class and learn nothing. If you like to learn on your own take the class, if not GET OUT!!

If you have him go ahead and drop. He makes class alot harder than it should be. He is difficult to understand and will never admit he is wrong. I came out with a high B even though i should of had an A

If you want to go to law school, and you think his classes are going to help you...THINK AGAIN. He has no respect for his students or other faculty, and he's going to seem like a funny man with an accent on Day ONE but after that you are going to wish you had never taken him. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!

Waste of time and money. I've had him for four classes and made all A's only because I busted my butt all nights and mornings just to survive in that class and didn't learn a thing. All you do is copy and paste...and sometimes he disgrees with the book which is stupid because he disgrees with Supreme Court Justice themselves.

You can not understand him in person or his directions. He promises to get you in law school, this is a lie. He is on no admissions committee nor did he go to law school.

very DIFFICULT TO UNDERSTAND because of both dialect and his grading, and his requirements, are ALL hard to understand.

Do not take him... He does curb his tests alot but he's impossible to understand..... And strays off topic ALOT

This guy is awful. The only you will pass is to memorize the syllabus and if you are actually from his country because his accent is unbelievably strong. His personality is a little crazy and not funny. If you are signing up for this class, I wish you the best of luck and do not slack off.

This is the first college professor I disliked. :/ He actually will argue with you if you ask him questions about the way he teaches/grades. His accent is extremely thick. His perspectives class was too hard to only earn 2 credit hours so I withdrew. Wouldn't recommend him. He also had a confusing syllabus that he abides by religiously.

DO NOT TAKE. Nice person, very intelligent. But his coursework will overwhelm you. I don't care who you are. I took a 4000 level class and we had OVER 20 homework assignments. He is late to class 100% of the time and will hold the class 10mins over the time 100% of the time. I have no reason to lie. His class is unnecessary stress, I promise

The regret I have for taking this class is immense. You cannot understand him, his tests might as well be AP tests, and his extra credit is a joke (you'll spend 3 to 5 hours on it and you might not even get credit if he doesn't like it). Unclear about grading as well. DO NOT TAKE unless you have no other option. Honors classes are easier than this.

He's the worst teacher I have ever had. He gives you assignments that don't even relate to the class. The essays can get up to 60 pages long (if you're unlucky). I will advise everyone I know to never take this class

I am currently enrolled in Pufong's class. I am an A student and I have never been more disrespected in my entire life. He is an awful teacher who prys and belittles his students any chance he gets. He is no help and will not take one ounce of interest in you unless you want to go to law school. He needs to be fired, ruining VSU.

I've never been concerned about a class I've taken at VSU until my first day in pufong's class. He always late, goes on tangents, and is impossible to understand. He is insulting to his students and his tests are incredibly hard.

I am a bio major and took this class to get my full load. Do not take him. He is very rude and you cannot understand him. I have organic chem and he was giving more work than my chem class... I dropped his class rather fast. If your views aren't the same as his, he makes fun of you.

Dr Pufong is incredibly difficult to understand, and we never talked about anything relevant. Not once did we have a class period focused on the election (this is American Government). He does care and try to help his students but is not very good at it. Kinda funny tho. He also is a tough grader and be prepared to present. Study guides help tho.

His accent was so strong I couldnt understand a thing. He rambled in and on sixth truly seeing if we understood.

Do not take him, it doesn't matter what class... He is RUDE, gives too much work so theres always something due, his accent is so thick and he RAMBLES aimlessly for the entire class then proceeds to not post the notes or let you take pictures of them. He posts rubrics online and deletes them the day after so if you don't save- youre out of luck!

Dr. Pufong is very passionate about his work. He lectures A LOT and gives outside assignments through Cengage program. Youll be spending some money on that. Reading the book is a must. You will not pass this class without reading the book and doing your own work outside of class. He doesn't cover everything in lecture. His class requires effort.

He was so rude and overwhelming with work.I had a mental break ended up in the hospital. He is the worst!!!

I hated this class with a passion. Before I even got IN the class, he sent emails to us about the schedules and stuff. Some responded and instead of just emailin them privately, he emailed the whole thread tellin us not to spam the thread. The book for this class? He wrote it and it's not finished. Full of typos and errors. He's loud, rude, extra!!

He jumps around in his lectures and almost no one in the class every understands. He takes forever to grade assignments and doesn't give proper feedback. He also just doesn't understand the students and will argue with you over something not related to what you asked. He is an awful teacher and I do not recommend him if you want to actually learn.

Hated this class and professor. He rambles during class, and no one understands, and he gives out more homework than my biology professor does and I'm a biology major. Whenever you email him with a question, he gives a sarcastic response, and his exams are hard and make no sense. Make sure you do good on the homework if you want to pass the class.

Professor Pufong has been the most difficult professor I have had so far. If you need to contact him, he requested on the syllabus that you contact him through the email on blazeview. When you do this, he doesnt ever respond. Im currently taking this class and have asked for clarification many times and he doesnt answer. 4 page papers weekly

This professor gives way too much work. I have a part time job and it still was too much. Reading 2-3 long chapters, 2-3 PowerPoints, 3+ discussion posts, and a 4 page minimum paper every week is just too much work. I was meant to take a different professor but was put into his class. Dont take his class if you dont have much time to waste.

For a political science professor, he is very judgemental. He made an assumption on my poltical stance based on the color of my hair (it was insultingly incorrect). He loves to go on tangents that DO NOT relate to the lecture at all. Unorganized lectures, does not go over several chapters that we are tested on. DO NOT TAKE HIS CLASS.

The teacher's lectures are unhelpful because he goes on so many tangents. He's also very hard to understand through emails. IF he responds, he is incredibly rude and condescending no matter your work ethic in class. He also lies about discussing things in class and blames students for failures even if the whole class fails.

One of the worst professors I have ever taken! Super judgmental/rude in emails! So much work (you have to write an essay for every unit in addition to reading/tests). Giant final project based on his own book (which is poorly written)!

Professor requires two separate online assignment portals, including one for a $100 textbook he wrote. Spends entire class talking with a thick accent. Frequently breaks into off topic tangents. Requires a laptop for tests in a classroom with nearly no outlets, no notice that laptop is required before taking the class.

Very judgmental and rude! Will argue with students. He has a very strong accent, so you can not understand anything he says. He requires 2 text books, and his assignments are two different platforms!

Horrible. Requires two text books one being a book he wrote which cost $100. Failed to mention to the class that there was an ebook for $50 instead. Doesn't grade work until the end of the semester so no grade updates. Heavy work load and many essays. Requires laptop to take test online in class also shows up 10+ minutes late to class everyday.

this professor assigned weekly homework with strict due date. he also has two required text books, one of which he wrote. the text book he write is one hundred dollars you will only use this textbook one time and only read four pages. He will give you a 0 if he does not agree with your opinion.

Be prepared for a lot of writing. There are weekly written assignments and three other written projects. You are required to have two textbooks and basically have to teach yourself from the textbook. For a 2 credit class there was a lot of work

This is the worst professor ever do not take his class I'm warning you guys . He talks for 2 hours everyday non stop nobody understands what's he saying and he repeat the same stuff and never on topic for what we are actually learning , heavy accent and doesn't know what he's talking about this is the worst professor ever but his work is easy

If you see his name on your visual schedule builder..RUN THE OTHER WAY. He doesn't directly answer your questions, offers no assistance, tons of work mostly based on a textbook that's $50-$100 and doesn't even make sense! A waste of time and money, your classroom will mostly be empty bc nobody in their right mind would WANT to attend his class.

I truly do not know how this man is still employeed. Simply on the reviews alone. There's an old saying, where there's smoke there's fire. You don't get this many bad review and not have earned them. He takes no responsibility for anything he fails to do, but expects perfection from people a 3rd his age. And you can't understand a word he says.

No sure how it's legal to require students to buy a textbook that you never use, just because he wrote it. Can anyone say royalties?!!!

Wow. This professor is a rude and self possessed man. I mean who writes an unfinished and error filled book that we had to read, but we really only read about 3 or 4 pages? Not only that but he jumps around in his lecture, which with his thick and hard to understand accent only makes it harder to understand him. I would not take his class again.

Pufong has a heavy accent as others said and is hard to understand. In his typing you could recognize his accent. He would give multiple different due dates for the same assignments. He assigned a good amount of work and expected essay responses with citations for everything. He was not very clear on directions for assignments.

intense workload. he also requires a textbook HE WROTE that is honestly unhelpful. don't recommend if you're taking multiple classes.

This professor is a horrible communicator, his syllabus was confusing, and written in a small font and bright colors which is hard to look at. He makes you buy a textbook that HE wrote and you only need about 3 chapters from it. It's hard to understand his emails. He also assigns a ton of work and changes the dates they are assigned.

everything in this class is unclear and hard to understand. diregarding his strong accent, the way he teaches is horrible and it makes it very difficult to keep up with. On top of that, all the assignments he gives make little to no sense and he offers barley any help. Also beware therses quizzes every week that have many typos aswell as the tests.

Pufong is polite and charismatic, and he allows multiple attempts on exams, but those are the only positives. He forces open debate to inevitably tell you that you're wrong, He layers his explanations in multiple analogies until even he gets lost, and he makes you buy a book that he co-authored. There's more, but the letter limit exists. 0/5

I cannot make this up! My computer text to speech does not understand what he says! Works well with others! EX- so delicate delegate and your agency, your trustee precisely prefer kind of too easily, but I think she trust your family into which is long-term because when you start working, sometimes we are caught up. We don't even know. You know.

This was by far the worst course I've ever taken here. Lectures are confusing and hard to follow. He will make you buy his self written textbook to gain access to the online homework. He will say his book's content will be on the final but there is no final. He doesn't even mention his book in class, it's just a money grab. Please save your gpa.
