Professor Zayac is fun and friendly. He is one of the few professors who will remember you long after his class is over. I still say Hi to him every time I see him in the halls. Just do you work and study for his tests and you are garanteed an A in his class.

Great teacher makes class a little interesting(history can only be so fun anyway) Takes a hell of a lot and be prepared to take notes and stay for the whole class time. Test are not hard but they're not easy, you reall have to study. He sometimes gives you to much info, however

Good lectures, funny guy. Tests come right off the review sheets. Basically gives you a three-point thesis off of which to write your paper. Took the half-term summer version; he crams so much information into his lectures you pretty much have to go to class. No need to buy the book, he's that thorough.

Nice teacher. Has corny jokes but they are funny because they relate to class. Tests are essay questions and you must study. Very lineant on grading and gives you maps which are easy grades to boost you up a few points.

I enjoyed both Zayac's courses on World History. He lectures every class the whole period and is very helpful on complicated topics. He also knows quite a bit of random, but useful, information about other societies and cultures. His knowledge and travel experience only adds to the course.

Mr. Zayac really knows what he's talking about when he teaches. He lectures from the beginning of class and sometimes runs over on time and he gives you too much information. It's hard pick out what is essential and what's not. His tests aren't easy and this is NOT an easy A class

I absolutely dreaded this class, I am sure he is a great teacher in class, but the online class was horrible. I busted my *** to get a B! Take him in class or take someone else. Also, his "study guides" go along with the book FOR THE MOST PART...There were lots of questions not in there; and the videos suck-unwatchable; each test=40+ study hrs!!!

This is one cool teacher. He is one of those teachers who loves his work and so it rubs off on you. I did not like history prior to taking this class. He forces you to think so this wont be an easy grade, you'll have to work for it, but its worth it. He also gives an outside reading assignment.

He is an amazing professor. He can make anything interesting, once our class stayed after for 20 minutes, no one walked out because we were all interested in hearing what he had to say. Take his class, you'll learn so much and enjoy it. He loves history and it shows in the lectures. He is funny and keeps the class interested with jokes.

Don't miss any lectures and take good notes. He is a wonderful teacher, very funny, and obviously knows and loves his craft. His tests require good note taking and time available for studying. But I enjoyed the class and thought it was worth every minute. He is very approachable and is perfect to take if you're a history major like myself.

Decent teacher. For it to be a WORLD civilizations class not much else was taught outside of Europe. Really like what happened to Africa?? Overall good teacher, interesting, helpful. Only two tests and 5 maps (counts as quizzes) not too bad. Be prepared to take a lot of notes. Exams are essay, short essay, & multiple choice. Study and u'll get an A

Pretty good teacher. He makes Economics understandable. You will have to read your book (any version will do, purchase the study guide (it really helps) and go on the textbook's website for the helpful chapter quizzes and powerpoint presentations! You can do it!

Mr Zayac is my favorite teacher on campus. Prior to taking his class I dreaded the thought of History. But he loves history and his enthusiasm for it makes you love it as well. He assigned an outside reading assignment so be prepared. I only opened the book 3 TIMES! He covers mostly all of whats on the tests and study guides. I loved him!

I took my class online, so I can't tell you anything about his appearance and class attendance. But I enjoyed the online class a lot. All I would say is that he is a great teacher, and cares about his students. You may take his class, either in-class or online. Your chances of making A (most importantly) is high/equal in both settings.

By far the greatest history teacher I ever had. He makes everything seem so clear. He can relate history to anything.

A pretty straight forward class. Missing any days will really set you back because he does give a lot of notes (2 to 4 pages in a 50 minute class). He's extremely funny and he knows what he's talking about so its easy to stay with it. would recommend if you don;t mind a few days of studying before tests

He is a great teacher, but you do have to read a little extra if you take the class online. But do your discussions and essays and you should be fine. And do you outside writitng assignment. I would reccomend this class to anyone.

i took his online world history class and it was very interesting. long as you do the discussions and read the book you will most likely do fine. make sure you do the discussions, they help alot. he is very flexible and really really loves history. i suggest taking him

fabulous teacher. . it was always fun to attend the classes. very helpful, understanding, lively. teachers like him are very rare. work will be needed to be done but it is not a great load of work. if needed help with it just communicate with him

Prof. Z is probably one of my favorite professors from this school. I am not a history buff, and didn't have much interest in this course before taking it, but he not only managed to pique my interest in human history, but I really want to take his World History 2 class. I highly recommend him, for anyone looking for these credits.

Super fun to attend his class. He really brought out most of the class's inner history buffs! Not to mention, he's rather dishy too, if you like the charismatic scholarly type :p

Prof. Zayac is awesome, but you must attend his class. You will take notes for the entire class period and gain an excellent insight into history. I hated history and took his class and considered changing my major-- if he taught all history classes I would be a history major. Incredibly enthusiastic. Tests cover same info as notes.

This professor is very organized and very easy to follow. I took his online course, I did not pass, however it was at my own expense. Do the post, and the assignments, study the post and read other student post and you will do fine. I will choose his class once I re-take the course.

The Good: Mr. Zayac is a very knowledgeable professor. I recommend him. His lectures are full of info that will be on tests. He gives good notes online. He is a fair grader but you have to work some. The Bad: He likes to talk so his lectures seem to go on forever, I fight to stay awake in class. Zayak's online notes could be more concentrated.

He is the best teacher ever!!! All you have to do is listen to whathe says and he will youwill have all of the answers to his test. He gives you a paper on what the test will be about. If you want to learn then this is the professor. He is extremely knowledgeable. This was a challenging but wonderful class. If he was teaching Am. History I would have taken him again! Provides MANY MANY tools for you to succeed. Well worth the time and effort.

One of the best, understanding, helping teacher I have every come across. Class work is hard, but all you have to do is study the essay question, study guide information he puts on icollege for you and take notes in his lectures then you will be ok. Dr. Zayac is VERY interesting! He is very thorough and he wants your thought process to be thorough as well. He makes class entertaining. I hardly used the book only to supplement his lectures and to help with the maps. If you want a challenge-take him!!!

Be prepared to take notes until your hands cramp! Professor Zayac is compelling though, you won't mind taking all the notes because you'll be so entertained by his takes on historical events. You absolutely MUST take good notes to do well on his tests; he covers a lot of stuff that isn't in the book. Great class if you're willing to study.

Mr. Zayac is amazing! Nothing about this guy is stuffy nor boring, like one person said before he actually jumps on tables! LOVE THIS GUY!! However, there is a lot of work involved. A big outside assignment paper, maps to turn in with tests and make sure your note taking skills are up to par because there's alot to jot down in just one class.

I am not that into history, but he made it come alive. Very silly, but in a good way. Took the class at night after a LONG day of work, but he kept me wide awake! Very understanding and genuinely a nice man. Would definitely recommend. Take good notes and listen to his recordings. Wish I could take him again :)

Zayac makes history come to life! A great teacher whether you like history or not! You must take good notes (the entire class is lecture), but he is very helpful if you need it. 2 exams + final, 5 map assignments, 1 500 wrd essay on outside reading assignment and 10 discussions to be answered online. Do the work and you'll be fine.

HE is the bomb. The best history teacher ever. His class was really fun, no one can ever go to sleep. I got an A in the class. There are only 3 tests and no quizzes. There are 5 maps. You have to do the discussions online. they arent hard at all. He is such a entertaining teacher. I had him this year :)

I forgot the section number. He is an awesome teacher. He acts like he just drink 5 cups of coffee before entering the classroom. He is very fast and talks fast. To do well in his class you have to literally write down everything he says. You have to remember important dates, little stories, etc... Fun teacher and a lot of work.

Great teacher. Did not hear from him much online but the class was well organized so I never really had to email him, everything was clear cut and he followed the syllabus almost exactly. Would take again. Just follow his instructions, complete the study guides, read the texts, listening to the recordings and you should pass. Even I got an A!

He is challenging, but he gives you proper material to be prepared and uses a teaching style so that you are actively involved in the learning process. Prof. Zayac def knows his materials, and seems to have a vast wealth of knowledge. Unfortunately, the content can be difficult to follow along with. The syllabus does not provide clear direction, and there are not assigned readings. If you answer his online discussions and read up on his review, you will definitely be prepared for the exam.

I took him for hist 2111.He is a easy A.He is very helpful and concerned about your grade.There are 3 quizzes ,extra credit and discussions which are very easy. I would take him again highly recommended. You will need to purchase the book it helps a lot on the discussions.

This guy is amazing! He really knows his stuff and by the end of his class you will know your stuff too! I passed without the book, but used his study guides and audio tapes. Very intelligent professor and awesome class.

Great teacher. He gives personal recordings to help you. Problem with that is that he sounds boring because of monotone. The class overall is great, biggest problem would be that he makes course that's supposed to be lenient and easy too hard and complicated. Teaching: great. Course difficulty: too harder than it should be. Take at own risk of GPA.

LOTS OF READING! Discussion questions are lengthy but very helpful when it comes to test time. Every test is multiple choice with an essay question. You have all day to complete the essay though.

Dr. Zayac, is a fair professor. If you are in Honors class, expect to be grade harshly..a lot more will be expected of you. There was a lot of writing for this class. If you are asked to do a group project, pick-out team players that will make the assignment run smoothly, as this is crucial for completion. There several ways to boost your grades.

Mr Zayac is an excellent teacher. I had him for my half semester online history class and I loved it. He is a fair grader, he will answer every email sent to him. He is very helpful. I would take him again, and recommend him to other students.

If you are thinking of taking a history course with professor Zayac, I can tell you it is a good idea. He knows history extremely well and will not let you become uninterested with his unique perspectives There is a good amount of work for this course but as long as you put in effort you will do well and leave the class glad you did it. Professor Zayac is a good professor. All you have to do is listen to the recordings and read some of the parts in the textbook. Everything he explains in lecture is in the recordings all the time. Just in class take good notes and take good notes while listening to the recording. If you take my advice you will do good on all 3 of his test.

He is a cool professor, even though I had him as an online Teacher, I could feel his enthusisaim through my grade. His class if fairly easy. he does not need much discussion time and essays are not that hard. Im not a school person and he makes it easy for me.

I took his honors survey to world history and he is amazing. There are no tests, but there are many essays. He is an easy grader. I learned most of the material using outside resources. He made this class really interesting and worked to make students understand ideas beyond the surface. His feedback was realistic, detailed, and helpful. He didn't respond to emails the fastest, but when he did, it was more than you expected for a 'simple' question. There were weekly discussions and short essays. They challenged your knowledge.

Took as Honors,alot of writing and reading the textbk. is your best friend, make sure you get every detail on your mapping. There's an Outside Writing Assignment get the bk and start on it early. Reply and explains fast and detailed on email. Class goes for 530 marks so do your best to get in the 400's. Final test easy with notes he's great.
