She only speaks fast because she is passionate about her subject! If you ask for help she will meet with you on her off time! The ones that don't like her are just looking for a cake class. She gives you an outline and asks questions from it on the test.

People complain that she talks too fast, but really she's talking as fast as she needs to to cover all of the material in class. It's not for everyone, but if you have a half-decent attention span and better things to do outside of class, you'll be happy

Prof. Washington is an awesome teacher! Because this is a community college, there are a lot of students who want their grade handed to them on a silver platter. If you put the effort into the class you will get alot out. plain and simple!

Everyone says here tests are hard. Well they are if you don't study your notes! She tells you everything that is going to be on the test. All you have to do is GO to class, LISTEN, esp. when she REPEATS herself (clue)! You can get an A if you listen!

Please ignore all the bad ratings, because Professor Washington is actually one of the best teachers at FCCJ. She will help students with his or her papers as well as finding references. She always show respect towards her students.

I really enjoyed learning more about our government system from Professor Washington. She really cares for all of her students in each of her classes. By all means, please take her POS2041 class as well as her new 2112 class starting in the Fall.

She was very helpful to me and the other students with our work. She would show great enthusiasum in teahing the subject matter. Overall she taught everyone how the subject of politics is very important.

Prof. Washington was very helpful and fair. I took her class on-line and could e-mail her with questions, she always replied in the same day. Be sure to prepare far in advance for the essays, but do your research well and you'll get an A.

She is very accurate and enthusiastic about the political science. With the big election comming up, she will be a great teacher to take. All of her tests are multiple choice.

I am a conservative that would not like an instructor pushing her liberal views on me. That is NOT Ms. Washington's style. Most likable Democrat I know. She teaches w/passion. The guy that thinks she is too pro gov must think like McVay. Whatever.

she is AWESOME!! she is so knowledgeable & makes the class fun. i thought her grading of my essay was a bit unfair; no mistakes on the paper except she thought the font was wrong so i got a B, but would not say why i got a B w/o any other errors? TAK

She kind of goes off on tangents sometimes. LOL Class is eh, okay. If you show up,kind of listen, and flip through notes you'll do okay on the test. She explains the subject very well, which is a plus because she's one of the few that knows whats going on.

She would always keep my more and more interested in the issue. For example if she was talking about cival rights, I would become more interested in cival rights. She would be very enthusiastic about each and every issue to sum up the main point.

She knows what she's teaching...she does go off on tangent's...she is very democratic and we did talk about the election every class, but it kept class interesting and it was never boring. Her door is always open..

Ignore the idiots who misrepresent ms washington. she is awesome. has a vast knowledge of the subject and is excited about teaching it. she doesn't hide her views, but she respects yours. she does go a bit fast, but this is college not vacation bible school. study hard, stay informed you will pass.

Prof. Washington is the greatest teacher at fccj. She tells you exactly what is on the exams and is always there if you have any questions. If you just study her outlines you'll get a B.

Pro. Washington is an very outspoken woman with a good her shoulders. She loves to educate her students. However, study hard on her tests because thats what I failed to do and came out with a "D". Besides that is will always be on of my favorite professors at FCCJ!!!!!!

Prf. Washington is the bomb! She tries to make sure you know your rights & what you can do to change things. Her tests were not hard as long as you study exactly what she told you to read. I would love to take her Womans Liberal class just to get more knowledge. She knows her stuff!

Easy A, as long as you study the outline. This class is fun and not hard. Don't bother to read the chapter, her whole test is on her outlines, and she goes over her outlines in class lectures. SOOOO EASY!!!!

She's a pretty cool lady. Completely biased on most of her lectures though. Easy A if you study the outlines.

Professor Washington is awesome! If you think learning about govt is boring, (like I used to), she will completely change that. She knows the subject inside and out and is one of the best professors I've had. If you study her outline and take good notes you'll do well.

She is a very clear and helpful teacher. She is very enthusiastic towards politics. Whenever I needed help, she was always there to help me.

Dr. Washington is a great teacher! She is so passionate about what she teaches, and very well educated. She makes learning politics so interesting. Shes the best teacher at FCCJ.

I totally disagree with the previous rating, she does not present her opinion as a fact. Dr. Washington teaches the class with a great deal of enthusiasm and she also helps everyone with his or her term paper.

She is a wonderful teacher. She may have a hard time when you have idiots in the class that are set in there ways and are not willing to learn

Great teacher.The outlines basically cover 99% of the tests, so basically the people who fail this class do so because they are not willing to read a simple outline.The term paper was also easy, just do a basic MLA paper w sources and you'll get a good grade. I'll miss professor Washington, wish she was teaching more classes at fccj

I made a "B' study outline take notes and if you like politics you will make an "A". She is a great teacher I made my grade, because subject matter does not matter to me Term paper MLA easy grade, power point easy grade, 3 test if you study outline read chapter easy grade, final was last chapters we covered plus a few review I made a "B" TAKE HER !

Professor Washington is a fabulous teacher. She is extremely bright and enthusiastic, and is willing to help you in any way possible. Our class, unfortunately, had to curtail discussions/debates because some uptight right-wingers complained that discussions offended and "confused" them. However, I still managed to enjoy her class.

I personally loved this class. Dr. Washington is very passionate about politics, and knows her subject. If you study the outlines, you'll get an A. Shes a great professor, I'll defintiely be taking her state & local government class next fall!

Proff a Washington is a good "Professor". She treats you like an adult and expects you to keep up. You are not in High School anymore. Most of this class hould be a review of things that you should have already learned. Liberal, yes but I am a staunch conservative and we debated often but she did not penalize me for it.Too fast=digital reorder.

I have never met anyone more passionate or knowledgable about the government and the Constitution. She was a great teacher. The tests are right from the study guides. Go to class and read the study guides and you'll get an A.

The class was somewhat interesting if not a bit left winged. I am a conservative military veteran who challenged her on most subjects, and since I enjoy a good debate I enjoyed the class. BTW I made an A even with a deffering point of view.

She talks SOOOOO fast and she states that she is more independent but she sound more like a LEFTY when she states her opinion. Be sure to know all of your Amendments and the Constitution and if you do then you should do fine. *BUT* BEWARE OF TRADINESS - This WILL effect your grade & your chances of earning any ex. credit even if you are 1 min late!

I absolutley loved this class. She is funny, and yes she talks fast, but it is easy to follow. Know your amendments and you will be fine. I am conservative but i am able to tolerate her views. This class was an easy A. Study your outline and your golden. loved loved loved the class.

Take the online course. I took it in 8 weeks and it is much easier than what people are saying from the in-class. She gives you plenty of time to do assignments and you can retake quizzes until you get all questions right. The tests are timed, but print out the quiz answers and glossary b/c she uses some of the same questions for the test.

She is just one of the best teachers ive ever had. those comments down there are just people who don't want to be educated instead, they want to be entertained. Take notes, study of course,you know what to do to get an A right? so there. best teacher. yeah shes a hardcore democrat, despite me being conservative, i find her a very good teacher.easy!

Professor Washington is an amazing and energetic teacher. At first i hated her class, it was so boring but once i really started to understand politics i loved it. Your grade is based on three tests,oral presentation and a 5 page paper. dont buy the book you will NEVER need it. she hands out a lecture outline which ha EVERYTHING you need to kknow.

She's very enthusiastic! She LOVES what she teaches, and she knows her stuff. She talks way to fast. Her tests are mostly memorization. I recommend taking her because you'll learn a LOT but you must study.

Save yourself some money, the text book is absolutely useless for her class. She gives a lecture outline that costs less than $2 that will sustain you in the class. She also gives you study guides for the exams, and all you have to do is memorize. If you work somewhat hard and study like hell from the study guides, you will get an A.

I loved Prof. Washington. Our political views may differ but she is definitely passionate about what she teaches, and wants her students to be the same way. Easy exams if you go by study guide, and one paper that you have all semester to write.

Take this class. No book needed, just a packet for $1 and some change. Study guide given, answers are directly from the packet. I loathe politics and I got an A.

I entered this course and did not care much for government. She absolutely loves what she does and was extremely helpful during her office hours. Tests were mostly memorization, not too terrible. I found the class to be rather interesting and I am taking her for another class next term. Give her a shot and I am sure you will be pleased :)

One of the easiest A's I've ever made. All you have to do is go to class (really, go to class, it isn't 'mandatory', but she gives sick extra credit for just showing up) and read the lecture outline. She gives a study guide for every test, which are easy to begin with. She love teaching anything political, you get out of this class what you put in.

Professor Washington is a okay teacher...I always laugh when she tells people no texting I have never met a professor who cares if you text are not. But overall her class is okay just dont take the 8:00 am class you can't go to sleep if you are hung over from the night before.

Professor Washington is very passionate and knowledgeable about politics. Her class is easy ONLY if you attend regularly. She speaks very fast and can be RUDE at times. There are 3 exams and you get 20 pts. if you take it on the scheduled date. You are also required to do an oral group presenation and a term paper.

if u study whats on the study guide its a guaranteed A. My advice, if you dont want her to go off on you shut up during class ans study!

Great teacher. The required textbook is not really required unless you want extra credit on the final exam. The only thing needed is a 50cent lecture outline. Study the things on the study guide and you'll do great in the class. There are two papers about current political happenings and a powerpoint presentation on a florida board. Easy

OMG BEST PROFESSOR EVER!!!! i had her for american government and she made this class so exciting by showing things on websites to make government come to life for the class. shes great best prof i ever had TAKE HER you wont regret it also 25 extra credit points each test just for coming to class

You literally have to have an IQ of 5 to get lower than an A. Study guides given before test and test is 100% what is on the study guide. 25 EC points for showing up for the test, fill in the blank with word bank.No book just a pack of notes you buy for a $1. 3 tests, 2 papers, and a group project is all that you are graded on Igot over a %100 avg

She talks super fast and goes off topic ALL the time. But if you just study the study guides and do the papers you will get an A.

Dr. Washington is passionate about history and politics. She gives lectures and a few exams during the course, plus a paper and presentation. She gives you a list of things to study before every exam, so there aren't many surprises on them. She gives a lot of extra credit for coming to class. Just study and show up for class and you'll get an A.

Dr. Washington was an enjoyable teacher. You can tell she really enjoys the subject and it rubs off on her students. Idk why people say they dont know what is on the test. The study guide has 90% of everything you need to know. The other 10% are things that are regularly being updated like current officials. Easy easy class. Learned a lot too.

Dr.Washington is an outstanding professor. She is incredibly intelligent and knows A LOT about her department. Her class consist of lectures with no homework and 4 test. Each test follows her lecture outline and test study guide PERFECTLY. She gives extra credit for great attendance. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!

This class was easy. The notes cost $2, book is "required" but she gives you the notes from it to study. There is a group project, a paper, a few tests. Extra credit JUST FOR ATTENDING! She's obviously liberal, but she's surprisingly not as willing to discuss her views as much as other liberal profs I've had. Study the notes and you will get an A.

I really hate history and this class was surprisingly interesting. She's a very sweet lady but completely scatterbrained. She is all over the place and constantly says "but we'll get to that in a minute" and then forgets. Her tests were really easy, just follow the study guide and you'll get an A or B. Oral project was pretty boring, but passable.

I really enjoyed Prof. Washington's class. I learned a lot about federal gov't & different cases the court handled. She gave extra credit chances, 1 mid-term paper, 4 exams. You do have to buy the book & lecture outline. She does post enhanced exam study guides several days before exams to study from with answers on BB under course doc., take her!

I am someone who has never taken an interest in GOV, but with Dr. Washington I am even considering a career in this subject. She is very knowledgeable in the subject and knows it well. The subject is hard, but with her study guides and lecture outline, it makes an A very possible. I aced all the tests. Best Gov. teacher.

Pretty good professor. Very knowledgeable. Does a great job in explain the different sections of politics. Grades are test heavy, but the test aren't bad if you study. Is willing to help you with projects and papers. Post grades quickly.
