Lobel is a great professor, really sweet and gives a million chances to get extra credit, 2 tests a final and a paper. There's A LOT of reading for this class but the textbook is so interesting I never minded it. If you read and listen to her interesting lectures you will do great. The paper is super easy, pretty much just used as a grade booster.

Could easily be a 10 point curve on a test, but these tests are ridiculously hard, and you could tell she made the questions as convoluted as her lecture flows... Be prepared to handwrite 10 pages of notes if you want to pass. But say you do take notes, you better read the readings, otherwise you'll just be at a B- max.
