Prof.Anglin is the Real Deal! She makes the material so easy. Always gives a test review so you know exactly what to study. She made me feel like i was back home in Jamaica. She is really cool and makes herself available to help the student.She also lets you know how you're doing in the class so u won't be surprised at the end of the semester.

An AWESOME professor! She gives a great review before a test...she doesn't give you the answers, but she heads the class to the right direction with regards to the test...there are no surprises too. You still gotta study in order to get an "A", but according to her reviews, you know exactly what to study for....she's great!

Great teacher! Actually learned some Biology, first test i took was really hard but she gets easier and gives you sample questions and whats going to be on the test. She does make you do a service learning project but its good cause it gives you alot of extra points. great teacher!

She is a GREAT teacher who is extremely detailed. She uses powerpoint to teach and I learned alot in her class. I found Biology very interesting with her. Her tests are detailed so expect to know everything in the chapter. They are not easy so you must study. To get an A you must work for it! However, she offers extra credit opportunities

Took Summer B lab. Loved her. She's the best. Just don't play her a fool cause she'll snap at you. Do everything she says, study hard, and just enjoy the class. She explains everything really well--even though her drawings might be a bit off. Lol. Don't take the skill checks or quizzes lightly--they can really damage your grade if you slack off.

Prof Anglin is awesome. She is very strict, but also very fair. The only way you will get a failing grade is if you don't try. She is very clear and helpful to all students.

Taking Professor Anglin is probably a challenging course to take but she is worth the minor stress. You can actually learn unlike other professors that teach BIO in Dade. Nobody is better than Anglin when it comes to BIO they all suk. She's very into her students learning and tries to instill that everything in Biology makes "sense". TRUE TRUE

She is extremely helpful,positive and fair but you need to show some willingness to learn as well. Take her class you will learn. A lot of extra credit to help.

(Lab)-Gives extra credit, lets u look @ the book during quizzes sometimes, goes over everything that will be on exams & quizzes + gives u a handout w/ key terms 2 know. If she knows u care & want 2 learn she will help u always. Tells u where u stand regarding grades after midterm & before final. Moody sometimes but luved her anyways, she is awesome

She is AMAZING!!!! She just loves to teach that makes the attending class so worth it! Do the assignments and study enough and you will be fine, I barely had to study because just by going to class I'll learn the information! I took her for Bio 1 & 2 and Bio 1 lab! Take her :)

Wonderful teacher it is obvious she knows her stuff and enjoys teaching. She is a bit anal about being on time and her assignments must be in at the time class starts or she won't accept them.

I passed with a B just studying a day before the test. You go over the power point she posts on the website and your whole test comes from there. She does give take home exams and you don't need to take a final if you have an A. She is a kind lady, gives you so much extra credit and opportunities to pass, you just need to want to pass.

Professor Anglin is a good professor and she is willing to help if you show that you are interested. Do not be fooled by the grades you receive back on exams and so forth; they're misleading. If you do not like reading just listen to her lectures and notes. You will be fine. Do ALL hw/assignments. Makes a huge difference in your grade.

She is a really god professor. You have to study, but you will learn.

5 exams, lowest dropped. First 2 you study on ur own. 3rd exam u use a cheat sheet to help u, only front pg. 4th & 5th are take home. 2 extra credit assignments-total 10 pts. Group & Individual assignments worth 100pts. Very important to get high scores. She can be moody if people do not listen in class. I loved her class & she's awesome!

I think she is a great professor, sometimes she can be a little boring but overall she is very nice and sweet. So there are 5 tests the lowest grade is drop, 1 of those tests are online and the other is in group but the best part is that THE FINAL IS A TAKE HOME EXAM. She gives 10 points extra credit. And a lot of hw, if u r not lazy u can get an A

one of the best professors of anatomy.. Take her you will learn a lot from her, she really knows how to teach. You have to study for the test obviously. Professor Llabiste is also one of the best!! I took him for BSC2085. I highly recommend them.

When I first walked in this class I didnt know what to expect. But once into the class I started to learn a lot. From the PowerPoints to the class assignments and extra credit I was able to maintain a successful grade. All she asks for you to be respectful and allow her to teach. This teacher has a open door policy and she goes by it all the way

She gets frustrated when you don't understand after a while. She doesn't give you updates about your grade. You have to study at least a little to pass. I wouldn't want to take her class again even though she isn't a horrible teacher. Her group work is pointless. She allows you to make up work, depending on your situation

When I walked into her class I didnt know what to expect she has a different style of teaching. She gives you a chance to pass her class she gives you PowerPoints extra credit and she keeps a open door policy. I enjoyed her. I can't vouch for anyone else but I appreciated her.

for the LAB she is a great teacher quiz every class. 2 group presentations. midterm and final is cake! very nice lady stay on her good side!!

at first its tough i wanted to drop 2nd day but slowly but surely it became easy because she was extremely helpful from the labs to the extra credit. Do everything and come to class on time!! she taught me everything i need to know before i work out at the gym!! challenge yourself and your in for a rollercoaster ride!

HIGHLY RECCOMEND! She explains everything very well and her test are easy, BUT don't get me wrong you Must study study study and if there's anything you do not understand then she is more than welcome to answer any questions and go over the material. She does reviews a week before test.

I like Prof. Anglin. She's really nice and tries to help as best she can. Sometimes, she can get irritated and she HATES when your phone makes a presence in your class(so she deducts points,) but as long as you pay attention and do your work you should be fine.

Overall the course is not difficult but the tests are. Professor Anglin provides reviews but they barely cover what is on the actual test. Loves to make students act out reactions in group. Gives extra credit assignments often. Hates if a student is texting in class and will deduct points if she catches you. Do all the connect work to pass.

She was an ok professor. I didnt like her class because she gave us powerpoints and then she read off of them in class. I was alright with that but I didnt pay attention in lecture and i honestly learned at home by reading the powerpoints. I didnt read the book and got an A but people who are not good with bio you should read.you should take her

Not mean, just a true prof. Do well on quizzes & skill checks. Keep notes on w/e she repeats, it'll be on midterm & final (study for both, its everything you've done in class but deff nt hard). ALWAYS go prepared. No late assgn. She does help u. Group work every class. Book required 4 lab. Shes responsible & gives updates on grades. Knows biology!

If you are a professional daydreamer, crammer or procrastinator AVOID this instructor! She has the patience of a saint & will go through great lengths to explain the material if you let her know you are confused. It’s obvious she enjoys being a teacher! Bottom-line: If you pay attention & read the chapters you will do well!

during class she reads along with powerpoint of the cheapter ,also don't expect that she will know all or some real life questions,because she only remembers what is on the powerpoint,study for the test by the book cause much of her tests will have questions not from the review,online h.w is mandatory and group project is something rare 3-4 times

Best professor I ever had she made me really want to learn more about chemistry, she's totally helps you if you dont understand and her test arent that hard, she does give h.w as a extra points and she reallly funny too, make me want to keep going to class and learn

LOVE HER! This isn't the first time I take her. Great professor. She explains everything clearly, tries to give the best examples and gives you a great review before the exam. She can be very patient but will tell you off if you constantly complain or interrupt during lecture. If you go to class, do the assignments and study, you'll pass with an A.

Anglin REALLY wants you to pass her class. She comes off kind of annoying because she treats the class like a high school class (no cell phones, calls row, etc) but she drops lowest grade, and gives 1 online test, 1 group test, an online final and extra point for attendance. Also all of here tests come from a test bank that is available online.

Man oh man where do i start .. this professor is simply AMAZING! I love her and her teaching skills so much. This was my second time taking this course and im glad i took it with her. She helps you A LOT i never seen a professor so loving and caring she was like a mom to me:) take her you will not regret it. I got a B , 6pts away from an A :)

She's a wonderful teacher. So wonderful that I'm taking her again for BSC2086. In 2085 she allowed one test to be a group test (more heads are better than 1), and the final was online. Take Anglin if you want to pass and learn.

i LOVED her. Shes very motherly and cares whether you do well or not. Her class was pretty easy and the tests are easy as long as you read. She gives many opportunities to get a good grade in her class. I ended the semester with an A.

amazing teacher, she's very motherly and genuinely wants you to do good. Her quizzes are 90% online and her homework is all online. She drops the two lowest quiz grades, and give plenty of extra credit chances. Definitely need the book. The class is set up for you to pass. Would definitely take again. Only regret is not taking her for bsc2085 also.

she has been by far the best prof in MDC. her class is challenging but very informative. i have learned more in one of her classes than in any other class before. she genuinely cares that her students learn and pass her class. she knows whats she's talking about and lectures in a way that is easy to understand. she is clear in what she excepts.

She does not tolerate excuses or nonsense. Be respectful come to class and pay attention and you will do well. I passed the class with a B. Print your notes out online it is VERY helpful especially the graphs they are on the tests.

Professor Anglin is a good professor if you put the effort. Her tests are multiple choice, but you need to know the material if you want an "A". The online homework is short and if you complete it while reading the book it can help you with the test. Her tests are usually based on her Powerpoints. She gives quizzes based on the lecture of the day.

This class was great, definitely will learn with anglin but of course a lot of studying but she is very organized and lets you know your grade thruout the semester, also attendance is 5 points so don't miss and study. Be ready to be called on in class!

great class, she really made me enjoy anatomy. warning take this class seriously the tests are no joke and she grades by points, not percentages. I'm taking her again for BSC 2086. if you fail one -2 exams you still have a chance at getting a B

You must read to pass this class. Its anatomy, why are you taking it if you want to be spoon fed? She teaches well, and everything she teaches is what she tests and quizzes on, she is very direct and forward. I enjoyed her class and she lectures really well, but you WILL have to read the book or you will not pass. stop being lazy. mostly tests

Anyone who didnt like her class probably just wasn't a good student. She gives respect and love to those who give it. You must read, every test and online assignment is based on it. Read or just withdraw because what are you doing? Gives plently of bonuses, online assignments, few in class assig., a test every 2 chapters. Very clearly and direct.

This class is sooo easy if you read and study. such a breeze of a class. she teaches well and gives quizzes weekly based off last class. easy quizzes. Just memorization and studying. Again, without reading you will not pass, not because its hard, because its anatomy. She respects and loves those who respect her. Listen up, pay attention,and u pass.

I love Professor Anglin, she may come across as tough but she cares about her students. She gives alot of test but all you have to do is study hard. 2 of the test was online and one was a group work. She is tough if you are not ready to learn and study.

Prof. Anglin is a good choice for BSC 2085L You need the lab manual in order to pass the class. She's strict on wearing your lab coat, proper shoes, etc. Most if the quizzes are online on connect. The ones in class are mostly labeling so study and work hard and you'll get an A.

Let me be clear BSC 2086 is not an easy class but if you want to pass then I do not know of any other professor that teaches this class better than Prof Anglin. She can be very strict but if you study hard, it should be a walk in the park. I took her for both BSC 2085 and BSC 2086, I got an A+ easily!!!

I absolutely loved her class I would HIGHLY recommend for taking I took her for both anatomy 1 & 2 , she seems strict in the beginning but she's honestly a sweet heart . I wouldn't say this is at all a "difficult" class. However, depending on the lectures alone won't cut it. You will have to do your fair share of reading. In total, was given 11 quizzes, but she drops your two lowest at the end. Midterm and final. Seems strict at first, but she's not. Overall, great professor. Class easier than expected

Very caring instructor! If someone does not pass this class there is possibly a chance that they missed a lot of instruction. She is very respectful and requires undivided attention. She gives a lot of homework to help with grades and also extra credit for coming to class and participation. I learned a lot! She also is available during office hours

She is a great professor. you definitely need to attend class, her lectures are heavy but she does try to repeat to make sure you understand the concepts and if you don't like professors reading off the power point than you won't like this teaching style, she does give extra credit, if you pay attention and review before exams you can pass her clas

I had Anglin for both Lecture/Lab for BSC2085. I can definitely say that the lecture was way tougher than the lab. The lecture is a class you must study for in order to pass. Make sure you do NOT miss an assignment she doesn't accept late work. The lab was basically memorization. Most quizzes we're online, she's a sweetheart but you HAVE to study.

So she reads off PowerPoints the whole lecture. Come to class, take notes, read the book & her PowerPoints, study them and youll be fine. She gives handouts and online assignments which is good because it helps your grades at the end try not to miss those theyre easy. Shes really nice as long as youre not rude or disrespectful towards her.

Probably one of my favorite professors, I learned so much. I took her over the summer so the lectures were heavy, lots of info, but all PowerPoints are available online. she gives a good amount of course work give your grade a little boost. She takes off points for being late or missing class so dont miss any. Youll study hard but worth it

She is one if the best professors I have had so far. She is understanding and caring she also responds back fast to email within 24 hrs. She is willing to help you as long as you she see you trying your best. We do not use the textbook in class however the text book is required you will have to read chapters and study. Overall she is great.

She may seem like a bad teacher at first, but then she tries to help everyone pass. She helps you a lot with the homework and presents lectures clearly. Tests are every class and very hard. You have to actually study and read a lot. Midterm and final are also super hard.

Professor Anglin is a great professor, she is very big on respect and you are expected to follow the guidelines on the syllabus. There are some sections in certain chapter you will have to read on your own throughout the semester no biggie its apart of studying. At the end of the day as long you follow the syllabus you should get an easy A.

Professor Anglin is a way better teacher in Anatomy/Physiology than she was in Biology. She knows her stuff but is very particular about following the rules. Shes a good lab teacher overall.

BSC2085 & 2085L. Professor Anglin is awesome. I showed up for her lectures and studied the powerpoints and lecture notes. I did her hw assignments and did well on her exams and got an A. Wasn't an easy A but I learned so much and am forever grateful to have had her. If you want to learn- take her. If you want an easy A- look elsewhere.

I don't think Ms. Anglin deserve those rating she is a pretty good professor guys YOU WILL LEARN at the beginning she is a little intimidating but she wants you to learn she will try her best to push the best out of you of course for that you need to show up, bring hw,participate if you looking to learn take her if you don't then don't take her.
