She is an awesome professor!! She's the best teacher I've ever had and goes out of her way to make sure everyone learns it. Quizzes can always be done with other people, and she'll help you on them. Get her!

A fricken easy teacher. She does make sure people dont have any questions about topics and is willing to help people. There are many "quizes" and other stuff in class to boost your grade in that class, if the exams wont do it. Highly recommended...you will get an A and if you didnt know the content coming in you will when you leave.

i take her for math 122 and she is an awesome professor she also gives you extra credit if you complete the suggested homework problems. the extra credit points can be used on a really low exam. if you are thinking about taking mth 110 or 122 take her!!!

Great class if you hate math. She is a sweetheart and really makes math easy. She is a good teacher, I learned a lot. There are a lot of quizzes so go to class, she lets you drop a lot of grades at the end though. I highly recommend Frobish and would take her again. If you struggle with math, do the extra credit, it adds up!

I hate math, but she made it easy to understand and not that awful! Attendance is a good idea, quizzes are done in groups and homework isn't bad. Lots of prep for the tests too! There's no way you can fail this class if you show up, do your work and try. She's an awesome teacher, strongly recommend her to anyone!!!

I suck at math and she helped me so much! She is so sweet and cares if you understand the material. She gives you in class quizzes and group assignments that are grade boosters and they help you to understand the material! Make sure you do the study guides because the tests are like exactly the same. If you struggle with math get her! she's amazing

MY FAVORITE PROF AT GVSU. I wish she taught all of the math classes. She made math fun, understandable, and most of all.. EASY! She laid it out for me and would stay after class to explain something. If you had problems she'd walk you through the steps and tell you where you screwed up. Absolutely AWESOME

I had taken this class previously with another teacher and I hated it! With her, I could actually understand the concepts and she was always more then willing to help. She also understands that all those ridiculous concepts in the book are worthless and just wants you to understand the basics. Take her if you have problems with math!!

Class is very easy and she wants you to do well. The class is pretty laid back and there are plenty of extra credit opportunities if you need it. If you're any good at calculus, it's not really necessary to go to class except for quizzes and exams.

If you have any problems with math, you have to take her! The first time I took this class I had the typical teacher that could care less and just taught what they were told. She actually cares about what she is teaching and she weeds out all of the useless properties because she understands that those don't matter. Amazing teacher! Take her!

All I have to say is that she is awesome and super helpful. This class was very easy in that she offered a lot of extra points that you could get if you showed up to class. Homework is extra credit. I suck at math so I still didn't get an A but its not that hard to.

If you aren't too keen on the whole math thing, you need to take Marcia. She is kind of geeky in an endearing way but genuinely cares about her students. She is very helpful and doles out plenty of extra credit to help those who aren't good at test taking. I've never passed a math class before and am getting an A! She rocks!

Marcia is awesome! Easier than my high school teachers because she can explain the concepts better than any person I have ever met. I wanted an easy A to boost my GPA even though I could test out of algebra and Marica helped with the easy A. I got a 99% in the class and every test she had the average was over 90%. TAKE HER!!!

Easy teacher, but you still learn from her. She hands out extra credit all the time and you can store it for each test (I got 100% on each one, and I'm not great at math) and final exam, and shes more than willing to help you with anything. She also makes sure everyone understands before moving on. Try to take her class, for sure.

Took 110 over summer. Easy class, gives you multiple methods to solve problems. Very helpful in and out of class. Homework is minimal, but there is some. Concepts were easy for me to learn and understand, and the lessons were in a good, well planned order. Highly recommend.

Her teaching style is very laid back while still being informative and the concepts made clear. Very liberal grader, cares more that you understand the material in the long run than if you do well on specific assignments, but you definitely learn the material nonetheless because she explains all the topics very clearly.

She was a great professor. She taught her class as a flip class, which was nice because we would watch videos on our own and then come to class and do homework in class and she would go over what we learned. She was very willing to meet outside of class if needed and very helpful!

Everyone says the class is easy, false. Calculus 2 is a very tough course and she just makes it seem easy bc her explanations are great. If you do what is expected and study the material and truly understand it (which you will) you will succeed.

It was my first flipped classroom and loved it. Also, she does have a lot of assignments but will help you if you need it.

Math is probably my worst subject, but Professor Frobish was the most helpful math teacher I've ever had. I probably could've skipped this class, but it was very good for reinforcing my skills and learning additional ways to approach solutions in math. My calculator still has the programs she gave us and it comes in handy from time to time.

Marcia was great. This is a hard course to do asynchronously, but she was always there to help and make it as easy as possible as long as you reached out. The course runs on a tight schedule, but that is not Marcia's fault due to the content that needs to be taught. If you are confident in your math skills, I recommend this course and Marcia.
