Prof McNair is an amazing and helpful professor. If you're at all interested in Journalism, or even if you're not, take her class. You write on topics you pick yourself and so have the drive to actually write an amazing paper.

Taught me a LOT. Even helped me get a piece published witch I never knew I had the writing ability to do. A fantastic professor and not to be too cheesy, but an inspiration.

this lady is awesome. she definitely put things in a clear perspective and was very honest and straight up about everything. taught me quite alot about literature, classes went quick, and we definitely had plenty of laughs the whole semester.

LOVE LOVE LOVE her. I was absent so many times, even missed my midterm, she gives TONS of extra credit and its easy. that extra credit gave me the A. even if you have a good grade, do the extra credit. i had her for journalism also, same applies.

Prof. McNair is simply an enjoyable professor! I took her Journalism class and found it so beneficial and interesting! She is an easy professor! She gives open book tests and a bunch of papers but she is amazing! I recommend you take her! Shes very joyous and just makes the class come to life!!!

The best english prof. I've had at NCC. She's fun & bubbly. Keeps the class awake. Really loves being African American. Has a unique laugh. Doesn't give any grade below a C or D, I don't really remember, but I do remember her saying she doesn't give F's :) (but that was 2 yrs ago, so I don't know about now.)

I had no journalism exposure prior to coming to her class. You learn a lot about various writing styles and formats and it she gives you good tips on how to improve your writing overall. It was an enjoyable class and I even got the opportunity to get my work published in the school paper. She is always bubbly and giggly which makes the class fun.

Very easy to get along, gives alot of work but is not hard about it. Lets you make up the work also if your absent or didn't do it. good professor.

Wonderful professor! She gives a lot of helpful tips for the writing exercises and tries her best to bring out the best in you. Gives a lot of extra credits, has open book quizzes and makes it easy to submit papers and homework. Wish I could take Eng 102 under her this coming fall.

Mrs. McNair is very nice and fair grader. She is never in a bad mood and is always laughing. She keeps all of her students up to speed with group texts and emails. Her essay topics are always for you to decide. Attendance is not important to her, only your effort is. You can not find a better teacher.

She is absolutely amazing. She alwayd gives you the benefit of the doubt and she really makes you not just a better writer but a better student and person. It's not a easy A she doesn't just hand them out but she really helps push you and gives you assignments that are so easy and fun you want to do them anyway!

Awesome. Lots of writing and reading but you walk away learning a lot. The professor have me writing more and my writing skills have improved by taking this class. I am greatful for that.

Marcia McNair is one of my favorite professors at NCC. I took her journalism class FALL 2014. She is so nice show up do the work easy a. Quizzes are open book. Never liked English and never did well in it until I took her class. Always gives good advice and extra credit. Writes back to emails and I'd there to help you. Simply an amazing prof

She is an amazing teacher. She is easy, let's you hand in stuff late (she does drop the grade though. Example, had it in late and it's an A, she gives you an A-). She's funny and you get to write your papers on what you want.

TAKE HER!! She is the such a sweet professor. I wish I can take her for ENG 102. She actually helps you learn and understand the material. all quizzes are open-book. Her essays are on your topic of choice. She is wonderful. Favorite professor.

Excellent professor! i would recommend to everyone. shes not really hard and crazy like other professors. shes really helpful. she gives extra credit work just so each student are able to get good grades in the class. Easy quizzes and assignments which can lead you to get an A ! i got an A so can you ;). Take it !!!

She is a really helpful and fair teacher. Do what she asks you to and you will get good grade. She does give a lot of assignments. But, no worry! It's nothing you can't do.

She does everything to help her students. She goes out of the way for them. She gives a lot of extra credit if you are having a hard time. She gives a lot of work but she will give you enough time to get it done. She replies fast to emails or text messages if you have any questions. She gives a lot of take home quizs to help your grade go up.

Hands down the nicest professor here at NCC! This class is very easy & she makes it like that! She cares about her students and will go out of her way to pass a student! this was my first time taking an online course. I took an online english course with Prof McNair and she made it super easy by making it straight to the point. She tells you exactly what she wants and when she wants it! do the work and you'll get a good grade. Do the extra credit and you'll get an even better grade. Working ahead is a plus too!

Professor McNair was such a great teacher. The class was pretty easy. There's only three papers you have to do and then you finish with a research paper (which can literally be on ANY topic of your choice, very easy). The homework she gives is super easy and short. McNair is very nice and gives you chances to make up the work. Would recommend.

I took Prof. McNair for both my ENG 102 class and my AFR 101 class. She is funny, intelligent, and sweet. I am definitely going to miss being in her classes. She makes any class fun & enjoyable. Take her if you get the chance .. best professor at NCC hands down.

I took Prof. McNairs ENG102 class online and it was amazing! Only one extremely easy assignment is due each week. I hate writing and English but I actually found this class enjoyable. She provides TONS of extra credit, its basically impossible to fail this class. The questions incorporate personal opinion and are always interesting. Easy A.

Prof. McNair makes English fun! She's such an engaging and wonderful professor. She truly cares about her students and wants to see each and every one of them succeed. ENG215 was very straightforward and she laid out weekly learning modules that were easy to follow and complete. Do your work and hand in everything on time and you should be good!

Professor McNair is NOT your average professor! Shes truly a great teacher, she makes the work easy and interesting. Shes not tough with attendance but does expect you to get your online discussions done on time. If you dont, dont worry, she offers TONS of extra credit and you have until the end of the semester to turn them in.

Best English Professor I've ever had! Never liked English but she changed my mind. One thing I loved about her was her comments on the pieces I would write. Just her comments alone inspired me to continue writing. You just have to do the discussions, 1 paper, 1 final exam & she gives TONS of extra credit. You literally cannot fail this class!

This is a review for both ENG 101 and AFR 130. She is such a great professor so I took both of these classes. She does give some work but it's all short assignments. Gives tons of extra credit so if you can't get an A in her class then that means you did not put in the work. She is an extremely lenient grader and Ivey league educated.

This Professor is amazing. I literally love this women so much and she has made me fall in love with subject. She has a boat load of extra credits and if you hit the 900-1000 mark in terms of points for grades before the semester is over you are done with the class. I have her again and I am so happy!

she's not too tough only 4 papers and a presentation and if u do well on the presentation u don't need to do the final. very particular about little things which was annoying. gave me zeros on things I worked hard on because I submitted them using pages instead of word. a hardass but nice woman. lots of extra credit opportunities.

She's AMAZING. Take this ONLINE!! EASY A . Lots of Extra Credit!! Very organized. ALL the coursework is available from start to finish. I finished pretty much all the assignments way before the due dates. I plan on taking every course she teaches can't wait for EN102 & AFR130

I absolutely loved her. She's like a ball of sunshine. I missed the class a couple of times about 2 weeks of total absences but the work is on blackboard. Only a couple of quizzes that can be knocked out in 10 mins and the final was a research paper/presentation about a topic of your choice. Super easy stuff and overall an amazing class.

I've had Professor McNair twice. Both times have been amazing! Her work is really straightforward. On average, it takes less than half an hour to complete work. She provides lots of extra credit, so you really can't fail unless you don't do anything. She's super sweet and just wants everyone to succeed. Highly recommend her. She's one of a kind.

i took her online eng102 class and honestly, the easiest A+ i got. she makes you do discussions every week which are pretty easy and, gives out a ton of extra credit. her final is super simple and, theres only 1 paper you have to do which is your midterm. really recommend her!
