Dr. Kinsella is extremely helpful.

He may seem like he gets pissed if you dont get a question, but he is a great teacher. If you show you are working hard, he will know it, and grade you accordingly.

This is a difficult class and require time and effort. IF you put the effort into it, you should do fine. He offers and extensive review before exams. He also grades fairly. However, we assigns computer projects and does not teach how to do them. You have to teach yourself.

He really wants you to learn. There are 2 tests and a final. He also assigns 3 computher projects and 1 final profect at the end. He is there before and after class for extra help. I found the multiple choice on the test hard. Because he has been teaching for so long he whips through the material.

Great guy and professor. Lets you use a cheat sheet on exams. Probably the easiest and best stats teacher at CCSU. Even if you need to know Stats, he teaches it quite well so that you retain the material. He also never goes the whole 2 and a half hours in night classes. Tests are MC + WP and easy. If you're taking Stats, this is the guy to take.

For the most part a very easy class, the professor is knowledgeable and aims for everyone in the class to do well. He doesn't collect HW, curves the tests generously, and gives one very very easy assignment. Show up and pay attention and you'll have yourself an easy A.

I had Mr.Kinsella for stat. If you are the type to hate math or stat and have a really had time with it. Take Mr.Kinsella he really does care about his students and is very helpful he had helped me a lot and made me feel more comfortable in class. If you show up to EVERY class and take notes you will be fine attendance is very important.

I took him for Stat 200/201. This guy is the real deal. He wants everyone to understand how stats is used in the real world. He has said " I don't care about the curriculum, I am here to teach you stats" . If you made A's on two of the tests you will be exempt from the Final. Attend Class, Do the work, and you'll be fine. Math is my weak point however if you attended class and did homework this class was not too bad. Alot of time was spent teaching myself because he is hard to follow. However, his tests were easy and always tells you exactly what to expect on them.

Comes off very harsh but it gets you to learn. Need to pay attention in class, barely used the book but I know it helped a lot of people in the class.

He will curve grade when classes do not well but they are clearly trying harder. He offers much assistance, and can easily help you with any problems. If you have any type of issue be sure to reach out to him.

Homework is not mandatory and he hands out a lot of extra credit! He teaches the subject very well. Ask questions and study. Tests are VERY fair.

Professor Kinsella is a very good person but sometimes he is not clear. Sometimes he explains things in a way that you might get lost. Many times I watched Youtube videos for extra help. Besides, Kinsella gives extra credit which is a big help in final grade and before the test he tells the students where to focus.

Math is my worst subject and I got an A in this class. The class is not "easy" but he is an amazing professor and takes everything at the class's pace. He doesn't move onto the next chapter until everyone understands the topic. TONS of extra credit, notes allowed on exams, and curves grades. Best professor at CCSU!

He is an older professor so he can come off a bit passive aggressive when responding/teaching but he has no ill intent. The majority of the exam questions were multiple choice, there were extra credit points with the homework. He did not use blackboard but would show us our scores on exams the next class.

This is the best math class I've ever taken. It's easy if u pay attention in class and ask questions. If u do good on the two test, you don't have a final. You are allowed a cheat sheet and barely homework and lots of extra credit.

Best stats professor I've had. He is so simple and easy to understand. Exams are clear and curves it based on how students do. Study guide are given before each exam, usually same questions on exams. Extra credit almost every week which helps ur grade a lot if needed.

Prof Kinsella is channeling but fair. If you have more then three unexcused absences, you will fail. you will learn a lot from him as I did. one of the better profs.

if you're able to, take stats at a community college, it will be easier. kinsella is a good prof, 3 tests, one project, and multiple extra credit opportunities. don't miss class or you will fall behind. record lectures since he says everything out loud and doesn't write anything down for you to copy. it's doable, just show up & you'll do fine
