At last! A real, career scientist teaching a science course instead of people with degrees and no experience in their fields. Absolutely brilliant. And a really nice guy. Really cares and really tries.

He is a very nice professor. He takes the time to listen and to help his students. He will go out of his way to help a student. He has multiple jobs, but still takes time to teach students who want to learn.

This guy is hilarious. His lectures are insanely humorous and the quizzes and tests are very simple. Great class and teacher.

GREAT!!!!! Highly recommended to all. Funny and a great help if you have problems. Really helps you to think outside your culture box.

WOW! This is a fun class. Mr. Pardi is extremely knowledgeable in this area. he goes above and beyond what the book does and no this course isn't just about studying bones. If you need a Social Science course this is an excellent one to take.

Great teacher, even when you do poorly he makes it easy with other projects to get your grade back up, i calculated my grade to be a B but nearly everybody who made their effort known to him got an A in the class, funny and has great experience and stories to keep class entertaining, TAKE HIM!!!

WONDERFUL teacher! If you do not get an A in his class it is only becuase you dont want one. He has fashioned his class so that the eager student will undoubtedly understand and preform well. Go to class pay attention and you will understand all that you need. Focus on taking good notes as well as reading the sections and you will do well.

Best teacher at GPC!

Unbelievable professor.

This man is simply amazing. His credentials are impressive, I almost wonder why he is teaching at Perimeter! I couldn't believe how interesting his class was. Like others have said, you will get an A in his class unless you're just lazy. *HIGHLY* recommend!!!

Very nice, funny, and experienced teacher. Has some trick questions on tests, so be careful. He does review beore tests though. If you mess up in class, do extra credit. Trust me, it will help, more than you know!!!

Good teacher. He knows an ungodly amount of information about cultures. Pretty funny. The only thing I didn't like was that his voice tends to be pretty boring. He's got a million stories. No projects or assingments, just a few tests and quizes every once and a while.

4 Tests - 4 Quizes - all of which he reviews for JUST before them. Endless knowledge on culture & society - great story teller - made a 3 hour Saturday class go by quickly. Would take more classes with him, but none are offered. =/ Easy A for me.

Really enjoyed this class. 4 tests/4quizes and extra credit. Review before each quiz and test. Entertaining teacher. Easy A if you just listen. No book needed.

VERY EASY!!!

Do NOT get the book! Bring a tape recorder. He is extremely interesting and if you listen you will learn ALOT! We had 4 papers (flexible deadlines)and 3 tests( reviews were given right before each one). Take his class, you won't regret it.

This teacher is great. I failed most of my tests and I was scared that I might fail the class. However, I did extra credit and I finished with an A. He is the best teacher and also veryyyyyy funny.

Pardi is a lifelong, worldwide career scientist who even has close friends in Christian monasteries. Anthropology is a science that examines every aspect of humanity, including the influence of religion in just about everything. Pardi presents impartial science. If you can't tolerate science, go to a trade school; we need more plumbers.

The best teacher I have had so far. He is a humungous vault of information, he knows EVERYTHING! So sad he is no longer teaching =[ Long live Pardi!

This professor is very knowledgeable of his field. His class is very interesting though he is a confessed atheist who tries to present his ideology as the rule, if you ignore that, you will enjoy his class, just be ready for some uncomfortable remarks and even visitors.

Extraordinary. Explains nature and cultural context of human belief systems (he's Mystic. neither atheist or non-atheist)& presents all views equally without pushing his own. Tells class "Don't believe a word I say". People who just can't think openly and fairly, or who hear only what they want to hear, should not take this class.

Marco Pardi is by far one of the most intelligent men i have ever met. he has many worldly views that most dont have. i was intimidated to talk to him all semester but i emailed him once about the extra credit project and he was very active on responding to my every need. he has a relatively easy class considering he gives you every chance possible

great teacher, lectures are crystal clear. Do not have to buy the super expensive book the school bookstore sales, teacher will tell you an older edition is fine!

His tests and quizzes are not so difficult if you go to his lecture (reading a text book helps). He'll give you a chance to do extra credits to bring up your grade so take advantage of that! There's no finals so I was happy about that. His lecture can be very boring, at least to me, and interesting to others.

Marco Pardi is the single most amazing teacher in the world. You MUST take his class. He changed my life and my direction in life. He opened so many doors of wisdom for my mind to expand through. This class will be the best decision you have ever made. Sit up front and tape record every class and you will cherish it forever. It will be worth $$$

Best Prof I have had yet in college! This guy has a ton of field experience! His lectures are super interesting and he uses a lot of his personal experiences to teach, take good notes and study and the tests/quizzes aren't too bad. Unlimited Opportunity for Extra Credit. He wants you to do well but wants to make sure you have learned something too

The best professor I have ever had. Very interesting, alot of experience and his class was the easiest I had all semester. Just study the notes not too much n he pretty much gives u the answer in his multiple choice. To make up for a bad test just do an extra credit. I pass his class very easily.

Very nice guy. Can get a bit monotonous, but if you pay attention he's very funny! Very practical; first day I asked him what the difference was b/w anthro and sociology, b/c I'd taken the latter and it seemed very similar, and his response was "nothing." XD

I would definitely take him again. He has a lot of life experience and his stories are fascinating if you take the time to listen. He is very monotone, but if you actually try to pay attention it's worth it. His tests are easy; study the notes you take in class and go over the definitions in the book. Best professor I've had at GPC. Class was very mind-opening and thought provoking, led mainly by class discussions. Never used the book, don't waste your money. You will learn a lot about life and people in general, but I guess that makes sense!

He goes over what will be asked on the quizzes and tests right before he hands them out. If, for some reason, you do not do well on them, there's unlimited amounts of extra credit you can do which is easy and fun. Great guy, very relaxed.

He is a great professor. I did bad on most of the tests and quizzes but I did a few extra credit papers and managed to get an A+... The tests are easy, he even gives you most of the answers right before you take it (quick review), I just didn't study well. He's nice, wise, interesting, and very relaxed. Makes you feel comfortable.

He looks like and talks like the old guy from the movie up. He is very well traveled and has stories for everything, he is really funny! His class is super easy, he offers extra credit but I didn't need it. Easy A!

TAKE THIS CLASS. It's incredibly interesting and very easy. I didn't need to show up to comfortably get an A, but you won't want to miss a class because of the fasinating material and the absolute wealth of knowledge Dr. Marco brings. One of the best classes I've ever taken.

Awesome man. Btw he is not a Ph.D so the people calling him DR are not with it. He is by far the most interesting man you will ever meet. If you do not pass this class you have problems.

GPC is lucky to have such an incredible teacher. He should be at Harvard or Yale. The most interesting, modest, and well-traveled man you will ever meet. Taught me a lot, he never failed to blow my mind with his great stories (and guest speaker). Take this class, you will love it.

Best professor I've ever had-now tied for all-time favorite teacher with mine from 4th grade! Gives students every chance to succeed-there's no reason to leave this class without an A. Most incredible teacher I have ever had! I still keep in touch with him because he affected me so profoundly. Not just another college teacher but a life teacher as well. He will truly impact anyone who sits in his class and listens. take this class even for fun if you can, it's worth it!!!

He is so awesome! four tests and no homework and final. Can do extra credit how many you want. can missed one of the tests and he will use the lowest one to replace the one you missed it. If you tests are not good, you can do the extra credit to make an A.

The semester flew by in seconds. Sadly, time passes too quickly in his classes. PERSP1010 or ANTH1102, either way, you won't regret the wise choice. You'll gain more from one semester with Marco M. Pardi than the rest of your classes combined, maybe even your life. There's one slightly unfortunate outcome - no other professor will ever measure up.

Marco is an incredibly interesting professor. He has literally lived anthropology with years of interesting experience. He teaches based on what he has seen and done, not what a textbook says. You will really enjoy his class and will walk away with a few differents perspectives about mankind.

What is there to say about one of the most continually influential persons I have ever met? The lessons you learn from this course will stay with you hopefully for a long time. Keep your notes, and scribble furiously because you'll want to get everything down and more every day. I hope Mr. Pardi and friends continue to do well. Best of luck. <3

Wow Father of Education. Dr. Pardi is a class that you must take if you need to take one of the Perspective class. His lectures are unbelievable. Also he is really calm and have some sense of humor which won't make your class period bored. I took both Anthropology and Persp and both were super helpful and interesting. He's THE Father of Education.

Best. Professor. Ever. If you have a chance to take Pardi - do it! DO IT! He is amazing, has the best stories, and an amazing way of making you think about things that have never crossed your mind. He is phenomenal. He's quite funny, in his own way. He will laugh at his own jokes, then suddenly stop, stare ominously, and pick up his discussion.
