Very passionate about his field. I would highly recommend his class if you want to broaden your horizons. He is very clear and concise about what he expects from you. He breaks down the challeging reading material so that you can fully comprehend the philosopher's point of view. Very interesting class!

This class is extremely boring to me. Not at all how I would imagine a Philosophy class. Get ready to go into an extensive/boring rampage of Socrates historical literature. Good god...so boring. But if you're really in college for an easy grade...take him. But I would not recommend him.

Really interesting readings, starting with Plato and Socrates. Unfortunately, most of the students in the class are illiterate slackers, so there's not as much discussion as I'd like there to be, but overall it's a fun class for those who are interested in philosophy. It's probably boring to those who don't enjoy reading and thinking at a high leve

A knowledgeable teacher. Just the right amount of work. Not too much, not too little. Your grade is in direct proportion to the effort you get in the class. Do the reading, do a literary analysis of the reading (not add pointless self-centered opinions), and come to class, and you'll get an A and walk away with a better understanding of life.

Not a boring class at all. Its only boring for the people who don't add to the conversation and just sit quietly in the back. Probably because they have nothing intelligent to add to the fun onversations that take place. The teacher knows alot and breaks down the semi-difficult readings so that we can understand it. Take this teacher! Good Class!

His was a great class. It was interesting and fun, and he made it easy to engage in discussion about material that can be difficult to understand. This is a great freshman class, with just the right ammount of work required. Professor Arandia is friendly and personable, and a lot of fun to learn from.

His class was so interesting. He broke the information down (which seemed necessary for a majority of the people in the class)so well that even without reading the material, you would grasp the concept && be able to sound knowledgeable when speaking on the topic. Also, he is gorgeous so if all else fails, he alone will keep your attention.

I took this class fast track. He was fair and pretty easy if you paid attention and did your work there is no way you can't walk out with a "A". With the amount of work that was required for fast track this was the least stressful one ever! Great class except for all of the lack of respect that teens and young adults have entering college.

Great professor. All the assignments are simple and honestly fun. Lots of reading, though that can be avoided by watching the lecture videos instead. Highly recommend.

Do your work and class will be an easy A. Just read the chapters and provide your insight, not that hard because it's all based on your understanding. Can't really go wrong with stating your opinion on what the chapters were about.

Where do I start? Professor Arandia is AWESOME!!!! He gives positive feedback and replies promptly. Read the chapters, listen to the lectures and do your work! When it comes to doing the discussion questions please provide your opinion, he just wants to make sure you understand what your reading. I definitely recommend this Professor/class.

He has 3 tests no respondus, 11 quizz(in the ebook -so easy btw), 3 discussion posts (answer 3 quest per post, answer 2 ppl), and 1 major paper at the end (1000-1500 words) off of a article. The articles are a lot to read & comprehend but you can literally get this class done in a couple wks easy. I wouldnt take any other professor for philospohy.

Super chill, organized online class! 3 tests, 3 DB's (have to reply to 2 people on each), 11 chapter quizzes & a 1000-1500 word reflection paper on a philosophical reading written in MLA format. Not a tough grader at all! Easy class and would recommend to anyone.
