he is very patient and clear. he takes a step back if a student needs it. His tests aren't too hard as long as you do the homework, which he collects and gives you points for comoleting it. he makes math seem easy.

The guy before gave him 1, 1, 1. You must be a lousy student. If you want to learn, take his class and study. Do your work and stop crying!!!
hes a very good teacher you just have to have time to do the work and really study, the class moves at a normal pace. He is willing to go over homeowrk for about and hour and answer any questions in the class, over he is a pretty good professor
The work is hard, but if you study hard and ask him when you have questions it's very easy to pass. Take him if you want to learn, not if you want to just skate through the class
Very good teacher! Take him if you want to learn. Must be in alot of time, but worth the time. Always willing to help in any way!
a little intimidating at first but very helpful and patient to those who ask for help. slight lisp is funny. use his office hours.
hes a nice enough guy but i seriously go to class and watch the second hand move around the clock. Hes not very good at explaining things but hes willing to help
ok, i think there are a lot of happy faces from other students because there are 2 enriquez's at moorpark (they're brothers). Marcos (the one i am rating) is a lazy prof with a lisp. he does not convey the info well. do not take him and save your college career.
ok, I took both of them, the brothers, and both are good and helpful. Lazy? Didn't he show up every day? did you? didn't he solve every problem you asked? did you ask? didn't he return exams the very next day? Didn't he help you during office hrs? Did you go? Maybe you are the lazy one.
I bet you had to drop Marcos' class, that is why you are pissed. It was not enough for you to blame him, but you had to insult him. No free lunch in his class, I learned that in his class, now I am grateful.
Very dedicated and helpful professor. He takes time in class - and after class - to make sure your questions are answered and that you understand the material.
dude go into the class expecting to get ur ass kicked. hes a good teacher and is willing to take the time to answer ur questions, but his tests are killer. make sure you read the chapter and do all the review cuz he puts questions on the test that have concepts that he doesnt go over in class
don't take marcos. he's not good. and all you happy face people are probably superb in math. im not lazy and do everything a student is supposed to do to excell in a subject, don't get all fired up. this guy just does not convey the material well.
he's a very helpful professor if your willing to ask for help, He's very confusing sometimes, sometimes he not clear he expects us to learn at his pace, i don't recommand anyone to take his class unless your one of those math geniuses oh and no calculators in his class!!!
Marcos knows his math, but one thing I have to say is that he seems to have a lot on his shoulders, maybe teaching too many classes, and gets impatient. He expects everyone to catch on fast. He is approachable for extra help, IF he's availabale during his office hours.
He begins class by taking questions from the homework, then goes on to teach the new material. Explains, but uses mostly examples. His tests are kind of hard. Tests are 50% of grade, Midterm 20%, Final 30%. Then another 3% attendence. He takes role the first few weeks. Okay teacher, could be better.
does not explain material clearly. Takes a while to figure out a problem.Seems easy but hard and not very helpful
He is the worst math teacher I've ever taken a class from. He just writes the samples from the book on the board. He treats students like they are a waste of his time. I got a B in the class only because I taught myself from the book. Most of my class dropped out before the semester was finished.
get out while you can. unreasonable logic. he tends to believe that if the whole class fails its all our fault and nothing to do with the fact that his "teaching" strategies just arent working.
Take someone else, his class is very hard. I am not very good at math, and he moves really fast. He is not patient and he is very cold. His tests are very hard too, most of the class failed the tests.
He is not a very good teacher. When he explains problems most of the time he takes forever to figure the problem out himself. That makes it very difficult to catch on to an idea. I would not reccoment talking his class, I failed about every test until I started teaching myself!
Mr. Enriquez is a caring teacher. If you dont understand something along the way he will always stop to go back to the basics. Will always answer homework questions in class, regardless of how much time it takes. Although some of his tests are hard he wants everyone to pass and have a good understanding of the concepts. Good Teacher.
Very nice, funny, friendly teacher. His tests were not easy but I felt he really tried to get us as prepared as possible.
Very nice man, and very helpful. All of the test questions are from the review he gives out the day before. If you follow the book along with his teaching you should have no prob. easy B
His class is a joke. He is very very very easy. If you want a good grade without studying much, take him.
He warned us that the class is easy if you know integration. Also, that any 4-year school would cover this course as an introduction in 3 weeks or less. Calling it a joke is a stretch, but try not to study for his class, he'll blow you away.
I hated his class. He has a lisp on top of a heavy accent which makes it difficult to understand. He doesn't let you use notes for tests and he doesn't drop any low grades. Also no extra credit. Awful teacher, don't take him.
As long as u pay attention and ask questions when u dont understand something, then u'll be set and get an A.

I don't know how Enriquez got a teaching position; he doesn't know any of the material. He struggles to teach and doesn't know any formulas. He solves almost every problem incorrectly after it takes him forever to figure it out himself. It seems more that the students teach him rather than the other way around. And its impossible not to fall asleep
enriquez: "i don't like for you to memorize formulas. you should be able to understand and derive them." student: "how do you derive this formula?" enriquez: "um (pause/stare at the formula on the board). very carefully I guess."
I guess you, the one who rated the two earlier comments, missed the discussion about angles and the right triangle. THAT IS HOW YOU DERIVE THE INVERSE FUNCTIONS YOU GENIOUS!!!! or you missed the first day of class.
horrible math teacher. he doesnt know anything
He has a lisp and an accent so he's sometime hard to understand.. He also assigns homework and doesn't collect it right away... All and all he's a pretty fair professor..
ok i rate the class al together...yawn worthy...well i guess he is a good teacher once you figure out how to understand his accent. Then things seem a little bit more easy, and overall he tries to help you understand as much as possible.

I agree with the comment below. He has absolutely no knowledge of math. When he attempts to solve problems in class, 50% of the time he is wrong. He doesn't know any of the materieal and just copies everything from the book onto the board. You are better off reading the book on your own rather than coming to class. It's simply a waste of time.
Prof. Enriquez is one of the best math teachers I have had at Moorpark. His charisma and natural stage presence makes the subject matter a bit easier for the student to grasp. A must-take professor if you want to learn. I wasnt very interested in math until I took Enriquez, and now want to become a math major. Thank you, Prof. E-rez. You Rock!
Unclear at times, took a while to understand what he was saying (accent+lisp), moody, was really tired during every class. Took his class during the summer. 3 hrs and 20 min, Mon-Thurs with him is too much. Take him during spring/fall if you do.
Boring & slumps around speaking in a monotone voice. He's like Ben Stien with a lisp. He comes to class unprepared & unable to solve problems from the text that he assigns. I can't understand how a person can attempt to teach something he knows absolutely nothing about. He struggles to explain things he actually does know in an understandable way.
Wait a minute... didn't you just say the he knows nothing and then later he struggles to teach things he actually knows??? make up your mind. What a coincidence you write this crap the day he returned the exams. Were you one who scored in the 30's?
don't listen to the people who praise him. they only do so because he admittedly punished our class for the truthful (poor) posts by assigning extra homework. He writes theorems on the board and does a couple of examples each class. He is UNCLEAR when answering questions and will often offer different answers to the same question. Easily Flustered.
This latin lover has all the right moves.....
Wow, all I have to say is that this guy could legally qualify to be retarded. He doesn’t know anything. He just copies definitions out of the book which he doesn’t understand. Avoid this guy at all costs! This man proves that anybody in this country can have a degree!
To the person who attacked my review on 11/3 from calc 25B: No I am not in your class, I took him last year. So save your attacks for someone else. I got an A in the class; no thanks to Enriquez. After class, I would have to go home and teach the material to myself b/c he has no clue how to explain things. He makes math drier than it needs to be.
Nice guy, goes over everything thoroughly. Easy class. Those who piss and moan about him probably don't pay attention.
prob one of the best teachers on campus for math... i recommend taking him if you want to learn, but getting the A is the hard part. hell, i would even take him if he taught a cooking class! he is simply the best!
Enriquez has a lisp that could make Quincy Carter feel lucky with his own speech. If you like trying to figure out what the hell he is saying rather than doing some math, then take him. I got an A but i mostly taught myself the material while my handicapped friend struggled because of Enriquez alone. Most people didn't do well in my class, hmmm!
One of the worst teachers at Moorpark. The students know the material better than he does and have to help him solve problems on the board when he is trying to teach the class. I'm here to learn, not teach! He's boring in class and doesn't teach the new material, he just has the class do problems out of the book to learn.
DON'T TAKE HIM! he never knows what he's talking about. tests seem easy, but he barely gives u any partial credit so your grade will be lower than what you expect. hard to get an A in the class
most horrid teacher at moorpark. did this guy really major in math? because he doesn't know anything from the calculus book. gets confused when solving problems and has to look in the text to remember formulas. boring and honestly pretty stupid.
lvoe this math teacher. best math teacher, he grades on what counts.. how well you understand the material. If you get a poor grade its no fault but your own.
The problem with this class is the material is overwhelming, and sometimes seems impossible. The teacher helps as much as he can and tries to get you to understand the material without memorizing formulas. Overall he is a great guy...the material is just insane
He's a real nice guy, but he was not helpful in this class. The subject is hard as it is, but the book sucked, and he mostly used the book for his lectures. Alot of us had to learn and teach eachother and we were confused most of the semester. I had him for calc 1, and he was better at that. If you need linear, take it with someone else.
He doesn't know anything about math. He confuses his students as well as himself. He doesn't know how to work out problems, much less explain them. I was confused on a lot of the material because after I did my homework and had a problem, he couldn't help clarify it. I dropped and am now taking Mr. Walters. He, by the way, is a good teacher.
Enriquez was the worst teacher i have ever had. He never made any sense and constantly made mistakes while doing hw problems. He barely knew the material himself and I got by the class teaching everything to myself. Until i had the class, i had never gotten lower than A in any class at moorpark college, including calc III. I got a C in his class.
This is hard, because Enriquez is a very, very nice man and I feel bad trashing him. But god he's a bad teacher!! Lectures in perplexing circles or just reads definitions straight from the book. Gets confused when he tries to solve problems that HE ASSIGNED YOU FOR HOMEWORK. Does not explain the critical underlying theory properly AT ALL. Disaster!
He is a good teacher. All you need to do is do all of your homework, and make sure you ask questions in class! Take as many notes as possible, and you should be fine. You can't miss a single class because you'll really fall behind. Studying is required!!
Worst Professor alive. He explains only the simplest forms of all the material and does a poor job of that. Then on the test he expects you to know more about Math than Einstein. I had 3 tutors trying to help me with one problem off the midterm and they couldn't figure it out. Best adivce, RUN! Do not add this class, if you do, plan on dropping.
Linear Algebra is a tough subject to begin with. I had dropped the course before from a professor at Pierce College that was even worse than this one. It seems like he really tries, but he just doesn't teach it very well. This class was the most confusing math class I have had....and I've been through diff. eqns. Somehow I got a B though. MUCH WORK
oh boy he's very nice
Great teacher, hes very helpful if u ask. Tests r very hard, he has some trick problems on the test, and u cant use calculators. u dont turn in any HW, his lectures r very important so dont miss class, in his lectures he explains everything very well. I'm also taking him for MATH M25B.
Dont take this class if u dont have to. Last year i took focus on algebra 2 in high school and i did great. He is a very confusing teacher, he constintly gets problems wrong and he shows no enthusiasm about teaching the subject. His tests are VERY hard, i have never seen a problem like the ones on the test before, either done by him or on the HW.
Extremely difficult to understand (thick accent). Speaks in monotone. Seems like he doesn't want to be there. Difficult tests. Gets corrected by the class. teaches irrelevant material. teaches word for word from text book, but you still need to go because hes very anal regarding attendance (aka he drops you if you miss 3 classes). what a joke.
I have absolutely no idea how Enriquez passed school and actually obtained any degree in mathematics. He knows nothing about math. He doesn't know how to solve anything and can't answer any student's questions appropriately. He tries to explain by solving a problem, and then he cant solve it. The most horrible "teacher" I've ever had.
He lectures on and on while working through problems in his head, then expects you to be able to show your work when he doesn't even show his own. His tests are complete crap, as he won't tell you what he will test on, and half the time he will test you on material you dont know. I learned nothing in this class because he didn't explain well.
Grrrrrr. I hate this guy, I'm sorry, but he has mad temper problems. He's really good at Math & everything, but he is a horrible teacher! His tests are crazy, and this guy is even crazier. If you are smart, don't take any of his classes!
Seems rude at first but isn't. Very stand offish but willing to help. Is a hard teacher but only because he wants his students to be prepared. He always goes over what will be on the tests beforehand. If you want to know your stuff take him.
Stats to me is a very fun class. His tests on this subject are pretty fair, not difficult, yet not 1+1. I made a couple of friends, so class seemed fun. Since I took him in the summer though, we had long breaks and usually got out of class early. I learned a lot. So, take him for Stats, I am not sure on his other classes though.
He is really hard to understand at first. There is ALOT of homework and the tests are all free hand. If your looking for an easy math class this isn't it. But if you don't mind asking him alot of questions before or after class he's very approachable and usually helpful.
If there is one thing I can't stand about a teacher is when they are going off a book that is different from the one assigned. This was the case in the statistics class and there were questions on the tests that had nothing to do with the book we were reading. Nice guy but his attention to detail could improve.
If there's one word to describe this guy I'd say boring. He rarely cracks jokes and usually lectures in an expressionless monotone voice. If you can read the textbook and teach yourself and want an easy Statistics class than take this guy. His tests were easy and exactly like the homework. Overally he's boring but easy.
This guy lost two of my tests and gave me a zero on them and claimed I didn't hand them in. Although he had all my homework that was due the day of the test.. So if you are interested in wasting a semester I would not suggest taking his class.
I took his statistics class online and I am definetely not good at math. I found it somewhat difficult to understand what he was trying to say and he frequently gave wrong info. only to correct himself afterwards. The class was definetely not a piece of cake, ALOT of work but I pulled out with a B with only a 75%. Overall a so so class.
Prof Enriquez for online stats Unless you already know alittle about stats DONT take it online It was very difficult. The teacher can barely speak English Could not help you While doing a problem he would make huge mathematical errors He makes a difficult subject even more difficult There is a lot of work You will spend 40+ hours a week online
I took this class online and failed. His online lectures are very hard to understand both in content and accent. His tests are much harder than the homework examples. I Would never take him again!
He was not knowledgeable (by his own admission) and was an unpredictable grader, he would constantly leave the room (to check his answers with other faculty) and had an irritation demeanor during class. I got an A only because I learned it on my own with the help of a tutor. If you can avoid this teacher.
Took the class online, very interesting. His accent is kind of thick, but if you listen to the lectures and follow along in the book, its not too bad. Homework wasn't a lot per section. Half of test 3 was take-home. Tests are challenging but he offers extra-credit quizzes. Difficult concepts, ok teacher, probably not a bad choice.
I took the online statistics class. Marcos is so helpful & communicates. Posts practice tests, gives extra credit for online quizes and the HW's are short and helpful. Tests are okay if you understand how to plug into formulas. Formula sheets allowed. Easy to work with, I had work sat morn on test days, he always let me take it the following week!
I took Enriquez for intro to stats and he was very helpful. I think alot of the negative comments are from bitter people who did not want to put in the effort to do well in his class. You have to show up to learn the material. This is a hard class and if you show him you want to do well,he will be very helpful.
This guy is great. He is very helpful and organized. You have to buy the book and attend class to get a good grade.
I took the class on line and was very nervous because of the comments on this web site. I had to take it because it was my only option. I work more than full-time + 3 kids. Expectations were very clear and outlined in the syllabus. Easy extra credit available. Listen to the lectures, do your work and you'll get an A. Quick reply to emails for help
Worst teacher I have ever had. He works right out of the book and just keeps going he does not explain the material well at all. My class started with 30 students and when the final came only 10 showed up the rest dropped because of his teaching. He is a slow talking teacher and not interesting at all.
I have never been good at math, so I spent an enormous amount of time with this class. If you suck at math, do NOT take it online (I did and I regretted it). The prof is very friendly and it is best to take his "on campus" class, as he explains well (he allowed me to come). In addition to the text book, you DO need the additional Solutions Manual.
Hard class (plus I suck at math). I took it online (believe me, don't, as you NEED to be able to ask questions). The prof let me attend his "on campus" class instead. It helped, as he was friendly and did a good job (in person, but not online). Be sure to get the additional "solutions manual", as you will need to know HOW to arrive at your answers
Great teacher. Possibly the best you can have in such a high level, difficult math class. Challenges you and knows his material backwards and forwards. Willing to admit his mistake. If you need to take diff equations and need to learn it, you can't go wrong. Plus he is hilarious in higher level math class. He has no patience for stupidity (a plus:)
I do not recommend this class to anyone unless your a genius at stats. You will spend your entire summer in front of the computer just to fail this class. Out of 72 students only 5 took the final, I repeat, DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS!! He is a very tough grader and the extra credit is a joke. You only get 1 point only if you get 100% on quizzes
WORST TEACHER EVER what he teaches in class is irrelevant to what is on the test. He is cold hearted and is never in his office during the office hours he says he will be in the syllabus. DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS
not very good
If you need a math class then don't take it with enriquez. He goes out of his way to make you misunderstand the material. not to mention the material he covers is in no way related to whats on the test. The tests are way harder then the homework problems he assigns. If you want to pass math on any level then dont take this teacher!
This guy expects you to know it all BEFORE you get there. Bragged the 1st class that he failed 87.5% of the class last semester. Teaching style is non-existsnt. Most of the class droppeded.
40+ students entered, maybe 5 passed.
If you're not self-motivated, dont take this class online. There are four exams total, each corresponding to a particular unit, plus one final, all on campus. Lecture material is extremely stripped down compared to the textbook material. Good thing about taking it online is being able to skip through dead parts of the lecture, saving much time.
I've been at Moorpark for two years. I am transferring to a UC in the fall and this class is the only C on my transcript. I'm a hard worker and I studied my butt off but I just couldn't make the grade. He's a sweet person but he's not very good at explaining his examples and sometimes came off a little uncertain about his own answers at times.
Took online class, definitely need dedication to studying.. overall the teacher was helpful and very understanding. His tests are hard but he does let you use cheat sheets, good teacher though.
Anyone who bad talks this teacher is ridiculous. If you do your work and listen to the lectures you will get an A. He is a fantastic teacher and anyone saying otherwise probably didn't try so they didn't get a good grade.
Good professor. Was very clean, organized and exact with his math so it was easy to understand and take notes. The tests were very fair, nothing that was harder/different from simple homework problems. Nothing that required calculators (which we weren't allowed to use). Replaces lowest test grade with final. No extra credit, freebies, or group work
The book is not helpful at all. It has confusing examples and tricky homework problems. He explains things pretty well though. Homework is mandatory and due on the day of the exam. No calculators allowed, no curve, no free points. Plain and simple math.
Not the best out there. Out of a full class, only half remained at end of semester. Does not explain things well, doesn't respond to e-mails, not friendly. Turned in all homework, C average on tests, and he still failed me. Only F on my transcript of 120+ units. If you want to learn, and PASS, take someone else.
Mr Enriquez is a great teacher. He gives you every opportunity to succeed if you watch the lectures & do the work. He always emailed back answers to my questions within 24hrs and he continued to help me until I got it. He is not fond of people waiting until the test day to ask questions, but seriously... what teacher would be? I give him an A.
I read the comments about this teacher and still decided to take him for my statistics class online. Overall he is helpful but extremely mean in exams. He gave us 15 questions and wanted us to attempt in two hours which was ridiculous . He is not a very great teacher and his tests are really hard.If you are not good at maths , do not take him , he w
He just writes notes all day and if you ask questions he only explains in one way, will not try to approach in another stituation. I would not recommend this teacher for anyone else. He does let you have a cheat sheet which is helpful. The homework is not graded. Overall, try to get someone else. :) if your hot he'll give you special attention. ;)
It is really hard to imagine how this guy still has a job. I took math online last semester for an easy A. This online class however is not interactive at all. Tests are long and hard, he doesn't tell you what will be on the test beyond chapters. Being someone who is usually very good at math, this teacher will make it hard for you. Shoulda Dropped
Although I read the comments about him and warned by my sister not to take him, I still held strong and never missed one class. You need to do the homework and go to lecture EVERY DAY to get it. He is strict about not giving any extra credit. He is a realist and at times can come off as a jerk but he means well and knows his stuff.
If you're the kind of student that feels the need to ask any questions this is the wrong teacher for you. I am taking a online stats class and he refuses to answer my questions over email even when I spell them out very simply. His follow along videos are long and slow and English is DEFF not his first language. Non caring or helpful.
I hadn't taken a math class in 5 years before taking Stats. This teacher is by NO MEANS easy, I spent every day studying and pulled a C. He doesn't give extra credit. However, I LOVED HIM. I learned more than I thought I could, he is very helpful and explains things well. It helped that I had a fun class. Cool guy, just misunderstood.
Took the class online. Pretty easy for the most part. Study the homework and the quizzes, and you'll be fine. Online lectures are well done, and he responds quickly to any questions. Although you need to study, you don't need to study 42 hours a week like he claims. Overall, he's a good teacher, and if you're willing to do the work,I recommend him
Overall, I'd give him a B. He sets clear expectations from the beginning. Use a graphing calculator and learn the stats functions. You have to show all your work, but it's good to check your answers. HW is practice for exams, so do it even though it's only worth 1 pt. Gives 2 chances for full credit on quizzes.
overall he was a good professor sometimes he can be judgy but like anyclass you have to listen and not be rude. I highly recommend doing the practice test they are basically exactly like the real test. oh and he hates cell phones!
I took his Intro to Stats. He is very clear on what you will be tested on. 65% of grade based on 4 tests, 30% on final, and remainder is HW. No cell phones, no immaturity. Otherwise an A is achievable.
I'm not sure what went wrong, but that this teacher does not know Linear Algebra very well. He was an excellent statistics teacher, but he was not very clear on the material. The second flaw was the textbook he used was terrible. He is well-intentioned and a very nice guy (even though he doesn't always come off that way).
This guy's class is a joke, the final is 30% of your grade which means, get 100% on all the tests and you still need a good grade on the final to get an A or B. He won't do any problems from practice or past tests when you ask him, he should not be teaching.
Took the online class. Don't know why people gave such bad ratings-- provides you with everything you need to pass the class. An easier 5 units to get out of the way. His responsiveness to emails could be better, but tests are just like the practice tests and quizzes are fairly easy. I would recommend him.
He is a kind man at heart, you can tell. In the end, I find that I cannot say anything cruel about him. The average professor, someone I would expect to come across more often than not at a community college.
This teacher is the worst math teacher i have ever had in my life. I am a mech. engineering major and have no problem learning math, but Marcos Enriquez will make study a chapter and then put questions from different chapters on the test that we never went over in class. Never take this teacher, he horrendous to say the least
I love math and I'm really god at it. The professor is a nice person but as far as his teaching skills are concerned he is the worse teacher I've ever had. I don't understand a single thing he talks about. He has no fluid method of teaching. He is very sporadic and lacks ability to answer student questions. I would not recommend this teacher!
I took Prof. Marcos Enriquez for MATH 099-Elem Algebra Accelerated (3-units) at CSUN, he was a great instructor, had very clear lectures, would explain a problem to a student until they understood it, and he cared a lot about us. His class isn't hard at all if you are good at Math, study and ask questions, I got an A in the class and so can anyone.
Horrible teacher.I took his online course. He does not respond to emails and when he does, he doesn't answer the question.Horrible communication skills.I had a real Statician tutor me for this class & he was disgusted with Enriquez questions & his explanation of the concepts. The Statician said that the class is not learning Statics! Take at COC!
Enriquez means well, but doesn't seem to like his job very much. I'm an honors student, and this was by far the most time consuming, difficult class I have ever taken. I studied 16 hours for an exam to receive an F. Practice tests are nothing like the real thing. I'm probably dropping for the W. One upside: sometimes he's absolutely hilarious.
Took his online class. Not bad, have to be independent. Clear grading breakdown. If you can't learn by yourself, don't take an online class. Hard to get ahold of. Okay teacher. Cool guy, nice, sometimes randomly hilarious. People are too hard on him. Got a B without too much effort. Tests are okay, allows a formula sheet.
Means well however seemed not to like the job. Stretched between classes across many campuses. Often unorganized & asked repeatedly which class he was teaching. Homework came from online manual, not textbook & often did not match the material taught. At times rushed through lecture & did not clearly answer questions.
Absolute worst professor I've ever had. Tests are completely different than homework, and he doesn't even seem to care about his students or like his job. I honestly don't even know how this guy has a job. DO NOT take this professor if you want to pass.
Mr. Enriquez is an intolerable teacher who is easily annoyed by struggling students and does not understand that all students learn in their own ways. By the way he teaches, acts, and talks, he displays no interest in helping the students feel comfortable in the subject and souly attends class because of pay. DO NOT TAKE HIS CLASS.
He is a great instructor and a nice guy. He sticks to the book and is fair on his grading. He really knows the material well and is willing to help you on your questions. Calculus 2 is not easy and you must put in the time and effort to succeed in this class. Overall, I would suggest him. Good luck!
I must say this teacher SUCKS!!
He doesn't like helping struggling students and shows no interest in being there to teach us. He's always annoyed when we ask questions during class and expects us all to have a complete understanding of classwork, otherwise he thinks we're not keeping up. He grades tests very strictly and you cannot argue any points back. Avoid if possible.
The worst professor out there. He gets frustrated when you ask questions...he should not be teaching! His notes would consist of 4 to 5 examples (not helpful) goes too fast and class is all group work. He doesn't go over anything again and has no review days. Honestly my boyfriend helped me more then then teacher. Beware and choose someone else!!!!
He's a tough professor in regards to the exams however he provides make up dates for those and allows you to use formula sheets to help you throughout the course. Prompt responses to email inquiries so that was nice. The HW is based off of the book as are the data tables so you NEED THE BOOK. Hard but manageable for the average student.
I took his online class and it was pretty well organized. You would have to go on Saturdays once a month to take a test and the lectures were in videos online. If you take the time to really focus and learn, it will come very easy.
Was told you can use calculator on Test 2, come test day he reversed the decision. No one should have to put up with him.
im a math major, and he was by far the worst professor i've ever had. DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS. it takes a lot of effort, and people who are not math majors like i am will have a very difficult time in this class.
I have to say I learned more from Prof. E class then any other stats class that I have taken. His videos are straight to the point ex to follow but you need to put the time in to study. If you don't you will get a bad grade like any other class do the work and you will pass , be lazy and you won't . PERIOD
Prof. Enriquez online math 15 stats class is a great class and I have failed at stats numerous times and I have learned more from his class than any other stats class I have taken. Videos are clear and the test are just like his practice text. But you do need to put in the work to pass, I studied and watched hi videos. I would recommend his class!
I think any online class is a little challenging. Mr. Enriquez provided clear instructions to what he expected. He is more than happy to help you and has office hrs. He makes lecture videos that are helpful. He uses the book for the HW. He also gives practice test that are similar to the actual test. If you do your work you will do fine.
Enriquez is tough. He doesn't really explain concepts he just does practice problems. We were given 10 minutes for a quiz that took 45 min for him to work out the answers. No e-mail response. Doesn't seem to know calculus that well- we would frequently take breaks so he could go find the answer and half explain the math behind it.
Whatever you do, do not take this class. He is a terrible teacher and he is very poor at explaining the lesson. We would do 2 or 3 problems and move on to the next lesson, and he does not take time to answer questions. We covered half of the class in the first two weeks because he thought he would be behind. DO NOT TAKE!!
Honestly the most apathetic professor I've ever had. Took the calculus class with him and I got a B after working my butt off everyday after class and I got a 5 on the AP calc exam from high school. He's immature and not very good at math, we had to take a break so he could get help multiple times. He tries to be a nice guy but he's too abrasive.
Every test demands that you define a theorem. WITH WORDS. No extra credit - spent the first day making a speech about this. Has an accent and combines it with a monotonous tone. He also made a speech about how what matters is how well you understand the concepts but proceeds to half off problems for basic computation errors.
Not a math major to start, needed this class as a pre requisite at another school. Need to watch lectures online, and talk to him if you dont understand sooner rather than later. Need at least 50% on final to pass, barely made it, tests are not multi choice and are difficult without being well prepared, 19 unit semester for me. Got the C i needed
need to be strong in math. more than half the class dropped. very very hard tests, must study a lot. ask as many questions as you can, even though it doesn't help that much. to be honest, he's a nice guy but NOT that great of a teacher.
ABSOLUTE WORST CLASS I HAVE EVER TAKEN. Don't be fooled and think you can make it in his courses, he clearly hates what he is doing. He consistently avoids answering any question and expects to know what you are doing before you learn the material. Will blame your inabilities as a student over his inability to teach. Don't take his classes, please.
Awful teacher. Refuses to respond to emails. His study guides are often incomplete. He records his lectures at the lowest possible volume and that combined with his accent make it almost impossible to understand. He doesn't explain anything thoroughly. His tests are much harder than anything he discusses in lectures. Would not recommend.
His online stats class was very clear I enjoyed it, didn't do as well as I would have liked but that is my own fault not his! I reccomend the online class but you have to stay on top of the videos'
AVOID! Came late & left early. Got annoyed w questions. Snapped at us. Test 4-8 questions. Big points off for small errors. I have a 3.7 & an A in the prereq. Went to EVERY class, tutoring, office hours, & did all assigned work. Almost dropped, he said not to. Was 6% from passing & he failed me knowing I needed a C to transfer on time. Total jerk.
Lacks communication as an online professor. Be ready to teach yourself, tests are pretty difficult.
Prof Enriquez obviously knew a lot about calculus, unfortunately he could not teach as much as he knew. He often will get stumped over his own problems or take a while to answer your questions. He doesn't grade homework but he assigns it, I found doing the homework was the best way to study learn the material.
Wish I wouldn't have taken his class. I advice students not to take his class unless you're good at math and can pass bc I did not learn anything in his class!
Do NOT take him. I read his rating and took a chance and that was a mistake. He never answers anyones questions so you get no help. He expects you to know everything he teaches the second after he teaches it. His tests are hard, don't represent the class material and are only around 5 questions. If you get 1 or 2 Qs wrong you almost fail the test.
Good teacher. Makes you work for your grade, but is there if you ever need help or clarification. Tests weren't too difficult as long as you study, if you half-ass his class (or any calc class for that matter) you wont succeed. Overall good teacher who explained the material in a very easy and understandable format.
I took this professor over the summer and I got an A in the calculus 2. He didnt really know the material, that being said, his tests werent very hard because he couldnt test you on something he didnt know.I HIGHLY recommend doing all the homework. He literally pulls test questions from there. Really easy tests. Terrible lecturer teacher .
I took the online statistics class. I believe if you are good in math, this is a good option. His practice tests were basically the same as the class tests. If you do every quiz and every homework assignment, and understand the problems, you will get an A. He allows formula sheets for every test.
Take professor Enriquez for Calc 2. He is a very good professor and is always willing to help you. He is constantly doing examples in class to help his students master the material. If you aren't interested in math, don't take this class because you have to devote a lot of time to Calc 2. If you just practice over and over, you'll succeed in M25B.
Should really not be teaching. Almost in audible, very unhelpful. You will probably not get a good grade, if you even pass the class.
He's a really nice man who wants everyone to pass his class, and, to his credit, is happy to spend one on one time with students to help them succeed. However, his lectures are all over the place and he can be confusing. Do the homework, study in advance, and don't be afraid to ASK QUESTIONS.
I dislike this professor. He lectures really slow and expects everyone to understand without actually explaining anything. He talks down to students who don't know what they are doing and then he looks down on the ones who know the material because they don't pay attention. overall, would never take another class with him again.
I do not recommend taking an online statistics class if math is not your strong suit or you are not good at self teaching. I've taken stats before, but I can't imagine anyone who hasn't to do very well or if they aren't good at teaching themselves. Professor was just okay. Very accommodating to students, but online lectures were not very audible.
Worst teacher i have taken at the college. Atleast some of my hard professors actually cared about their students and did their best to explain things even if they werent skilled at teaching. This teacher just doesnt care about you or your grade and says that on the first day of class. Will not repeat himself. He is not helpful, or clear at all.
I recommend avoiding this professor if possible. I signed up take a mandatory math class. In that class he did not allow calculators or graphing calculators. With that said the time it took me to complete tasks was below average, and other students had difficulty keeping up and understanding. WHAT COLLEGE TEACHER DOESN'T ALLOW CALCULATORS?
Downright awful teacher, this was my second attempt at trying to pass this class and I still couldn't do it because of him. He is the worst at explaining and whenever I asked him something, I always ended up more confused and frustrated. The tests were really difficult and require you to only miss a couple problems to get a decent grade. Don't take
I would consider Calc 2 as NOT being theoretical meaning, you won't be tested on what you know about the topic rather on how you can apply it to the practice problems in that particular section. Professor Enriquez trains you for that. There really isn't much to talk about theoretically during lecture unless you are working out an examples.
DON'T TAKE THIS TEACHER! No matter how good at math you think you are. He is so hard to follow everytime i left class I was more confused than I was walking in. He is terrible at explaining don't bother asking him questions he will be very passive aggressive. I spent hours studying it took time i needed to study for other classes.
Means well, however he is a terrible math educator. I'm 30 years old and worked very, very hard. I failed his class and took again with another teacher (M Vazk..)and got an A. This teacher should reevaluated. His successful passing rate must be less than 30%. the guys knows math not how to teach it.
Not impossible but you really have to work for it and if you're not good at math, i would not suggest him. He kind of expects you to understand it on your own. I spent so many hours in the math center its ridiculous. I didn't know one person in that class that wasn't dancing on a D or Failing.
He is an awful teacher. Does not care whether or not you pass and is not clear on what he is teaching. He expects his students to already know the material before he even teaches it. He gets annoyed when students ask questions and never replies to any e-mails I send him. Very unhelpful and tests are pretty tough.
Absolutely terrible teacher. Instead of memorizing formulas for a test, you have to prove them on your test first before you can use them. The test problems are unlike anything he does in the classroom or on the homework. I have a 4.0 gpa and i had to drop the class so it didnt get ruined. Youre better off waiting for next semester for someone else
He's very particular about your notation on tests and exams, but is very sloppy himself. It's very ironic. Avoid taking his class if possible. He doesn't teach. Lectures are him solving problems from the book. Don't bother going to class you don't learn anything.
Don't take this teacher! He will make you hate your life, he expects you to learn the material on your own, not a good teacher!! AVOID HIM even if you are good at math! Spring 2016 class with 45 students came down to 22 on the last week and only 16 showing up to final! Everyone was lost and his class average is very bad! Not helpful to students!!!
Literally made statistics, which is supposed to be easy, the hardest class i've ever taken. The semester started with 50 students and only 13 made it to the final. And more than half of these 13 were failing. I don't know how he is still a teacher, he doesn't care about his students and he's not helpful at all.
He is the worst teacher Ive ever had. His lectures are 100% examples, no how or why to it. There are some new concepts he just throws in there, no explanation or background. Half the time he gets his own problems wrong. There is no extra credit and he doesnt curve. Im out of space but Im a math major and telling you not to take him so pls listen
This professor was quite unorganized and generally apathetic. Tests were not returned in a reasonable time frame and classes consisted of him doing the homework that we turned in on the board for an hour, then reading the book out loud for another hour. Try and avoid him if you can.
Professor NOT good at teaching. I was forced to teach all of Calc 2 to my self. Professor graded very hard, assigned a large amount of homework (was nessisary), made tests difficult. Walked out of the class with 45 minutes left in class after asking twice for final, had to chase him down to hand him my test. If a B student, wouldn't recommend it.
Terrible experience in Statistics. Online lessons were difficult to hear or sit through. In class he was always in a horrible mood. His classes stay open for a reason. Do not take! It is worth the effort of trying to get into a closed class with another professor.
This is the worst teacher I have ever taken. He is easily frustrated and won't answer questions. He is also bad at teaching. He goes unnecessarily in depth with easy concepts and brushes over difficult things. I will absolutely need a tutor if I plan on passing this class.
"Repetition, repetition, repetition. There is no other way. It is the only way." I will never forget the day professor Enriquez said this to us. It unleashed a work ethic that I never thought I had. Calc 2 is tough, but if you are willing to put in the hours, you will reap what you sow. He actually shows you how to do problems! (Most prof dont)
Exams are predictable since there is a practice test for each test. Test # 4 just turned into a take-home, so it got even easier. I think my B can easily turn into an A now. Do the practice exams and you are all set.
In the very beginning I actually like this professor a lot but as the course went on he became much more difficult. He would sometimes come to class unprepared when lecturing and he seemed like he was over it by the end of the semester. There is lots of homework in this class, be prepared to study every day.
Homework isn't mandatory, but if you want an A on the tests, do it. The more interactive you are in the lecture, the more you'll learn. Good teacher, but the lectures can be coarse.
He was interested in having students writing mathematics properly all the time. If you do as he says you should be ok. Taking and completing math 25C now and the way he helped me organize my writing truly helped. I would recommend to follow his advice on the writing. This class is lots of work though.
I took Prof. Enriquez for M15 Hybrid (half online) and whenever I went to his class he was always in a bad mood. Not easy to approach, he makes you feel stupid for asking a question. He doesn't elaborate on what was taught (somewhat) before and isn't willing to help. He once sat at his desk for 20 minutes because nobody understood the lesson.
Honestly the worst professor I have ever had. It's frustrating because he'll start the class off strong, but by the end of the lecture, he's talking more to himself than anyone else and he's just ready to leave. He spends most of the class comparing the content between 25A or 25B. He won't answer a question if he considers it a 25A question.
People give Enriquez a hard time. He's always saying "no extra credit" and that's partly true, group quizzes, one take home test near the end, and a 10% bump on our quiz scores across the board. This is hardly 'no extra'. His tests are pretty easy, and TONS of half credit. He's also a pretty nice guy, and funny, even if some kids don't 'get' him.
This subject is hard and is something that you have to work for no matter what Professor you take. Prof Enriquez actually wants you to understand the material not just get through the class and gives you every tool to do it. If you do the homework and you show up for class you will pass because this teacher actually wants you to pass.
Honestly, He is not that bad. I think people on this website are a little butthurt because thy aren't that great at math so blames him. It's a math class. There is going to be work. What they are right about is his communication skills aren't the best. His tests weren't that hard, pay attention in class. Think before you do.
He's a good professor. He gets you prepared for M25B. Not to best lectures but manageable. Answers any homework questions. Tests are no that bad but grades them very harsh. I would recommend this class if you really want to learn Calculus.
WORST teacher ever! Nothing he says makes sense, does not follow his own calendar, gives only a week notice for tests, and gives review guides that DO NOT match his tests at all. In his office hours he will give the only recommendation that you should drop if you have trouble. Even with a tutor Im still failing his class.
He is a great professor. He will get you prepared for M25B. I didn't learn much from his lectures but if you practice a lot then you will do just fine. He shows a lot of proofs but you won't get tested on it. He is very clear on the grading and will drop your lowest test score. I would recommend his class if you really want to learn math
Absolutely the worst communication I have ever experienced with any professor. I did not learn a thing from his "lectures," I had to teach myself all semester. This class was a complete mess. I think more than half of the class dropped out and I'm sure the 10 people that remain are not doing well.
only reason i would ever recommend to take this professor is if all of the other math professors at moorpark all vanished. then id say, i guess mr enriquez is your only hope. but under no circumstances would i ever recommend him when there are other math profs at moorpark. horrible, horrible communication. he seems so unhappy being a teacher.
STUDENTS TAKING STATS ONLINE, this is all you need to know. First, dont take this class. If you dont listen, here is what youll expect: final is worth 20% of your grade, and graded homework on my math lab ($100 to access..) is worth 10% of your grade. Exams are worth 40% and quizzes on canvas are worth 30%. So, you need to buy the text AND mathlab
This class was by far the worst I've ever taken. The online lectures are at a ridiculously low volume and Mr. Enriquez has a thick accent and a lisp. I had to get a tutor. Mr. Enriquez never answers emails, when he actually does respond his resonses are one sentence and riddled with grammatical errors. He really couldnt care less about his students
The design of the hybrid class is tricky and requires a lot of self-discipline to do the work required to learn the subject. The professor does try to cover all the sections in class, but this results in him going too fast for most people. This class is closer to a higher-tier university class than most are used to. Challenging, but reasonable.
Okay, if your goal is to learn Calculus, become a better mathematician, or prepare for higher level math classes, this is absolutely your guy. Highly recommend. However, if your goal is to get an easy A and move on from math, you'll want to take someone else. My goal was the former so he get's a very high rating from me.
Don't expect partial credit from him. Give you 0 point on test for not presenting your work in the way that he like, even if your work is correct. Average in class quiz is 25%. Doesn't show/skip steps in his lecture examples.
Enriquez is the easiest Calc 2 teacher at Moorpark College when comparing test and quiz difficulty. Also, there is partial credit based on your work for each answer. His lectures IMO were terrible as they were unorganized, but improved over time. A bit patronizing when participating. Ch. Order: 8, 7, 9, 10. There were 4 tests, 4 quizzes, and final.
At first, he was really confusing and hard to understand but you get used to it. If you pay attention in class and do ALL your homework then you'll do fine. He places A LOT of importance on HOW things are written, and takes points off for stupid things, even if you get the right answer. Despite that, he's a great guy and prof! Def reccomend
I'm pretty sure the good reviews were written by this teacher. Everyone in my class hates this professor because he is so apathetic and rude to students. It's like he's in pain being there or something.
He doesn't know how to teach. Excuse my comments but this is true! You need to know the material that he needs to teach you other wise forget it.
I believe he actually cares about his students; however, I feel that if you don't know this math already, you will have a hard time learning it here. He skips several steps during lecture; he is very heavy on mental math. He is a nice person and I think he really wants his students to succeed; but if you're not getting it, drop before it's too late
His exams are questions from the homework that he changes the numbers only, so do the homework. He will answer all homework questions in class, so ask questions. He seems unapproachable, but once you talk to him he is good. He says he loves his job, I believ him.
No matter how bad he is in your opinions, it is still your good and solid choice when you have an oppotunity to take linear algebra with him. He is definitely okay comparing with other professors who are teaching this class. You only need 1 hour for each midterm. Questions are fair, and there are no surprising questions.
One of the WORST teachers to take. I am a straight A student, I work hard and studied the material but his lectures were brief, non explanatory. He also makes quizzes due way before the hw is due? Then changes dates last minute w/o notifying you. Never responds to emails at all or 5 days late... ITS AN ONLINE CLASS. Makes you come to school 4 tests
Definitely not the best professor at Moorpark. First of all, if you email him, there is no chance he will respond. I emailed him multiple times and never got a response. He isn't awful, but there are definitely better professors. He does have a very good sense of humor though and there were many times he made me laugh.
Calc 2 is not an easy class, but this professor does a decent job walking you through the tough sections like series and sequences. I've been in Moorpark college for a while and taken almost all the math teacher. Enriquez is a decent choice, he bellows Purdy and Petrello, but above Paul and Diana, at least he is patient and caring yet strict.
Very hard to pass his class if you don't already have a good understanding of the material. His methods work, however not for most. There are better teachers...
Professor Enriquez is better than his reviews show. He has a distinct teaching style. He doesn't explain much conceptually; he teaches us by doing problems with us. For me, it was very effective. His quizzes and tests match the difficulty of classwork and homework. He is also very willing to help outside of class time, but not responsive online.
Professor Enriquez was definitely not made for online teaching, the class seems pretty doable the first two weeks but the material becomes a lot more difficult (as expected) but his lectures are difficult to understand and pretty sloppy. The quizzes are quite hard but the tests are even more of a pain! His feedback is not too useful and rare.
Lectures are heavy. Work given is unclear and if it is not his way you do not get credit for that question. Very tough grader.
His lectures were hard for me to understand & didn't teach all the concepts the homework required us to know. He'd skim over teaching us the concepts & how everything fits together & would just do a lot of textbook problems expecting us to get it. My class also got no communication from him from 3/16 & 3/28 and gave quizzes w/o lecturing first.
Didnt like this professor at all. Doesnt seem organized, and isnt considerate of the students personal lives. If something is going on in your life you still gotta do your homework, no exceptions. Dont recommend him.
I had a terrible experience in his class. Wouldnt recommend.
Impossible to get ahold of. I emailed him multiple times for test solutions and was always ignored. He does not care to give any type of feedback on assignments, so youre left to figure it out yourself. Gives you no time to complete assignments; grades on own personal preference; either his way or the wrong way. Only take him as a last resort.
If math is not your best subject, stay away! Basically teaching yourself. You do not get solutions to exams/quizzes. Exams worth 60%. Ignores emails, so dont bother. Provides no help nor constructive feedback, says something along the lines of if we dont know its our own fault. Maybe he should consider himself and his lousy teaching methods.
Not the best when it comes to communication, barely responds back to student emails. Doesn't provide feedback and solutions to tests/quizzes. Tests makeup a huge percent of the grade. This class was entirely self taught making it difficult.
The worst "teacher" ive ever had! Gives practically no time at all for tests, most people don't even finish half of it. He ONLY grades us on tests. His lectures are just old zoom meetings from old classes. Does not respond to emails. Doesnt really use canvas at all. There is litteraly no communication at all. Have to submit tests thru email. a mess
I love Enriquez. The course is difficult but that's just Calc B. He really cares about his students and as long as you respect his class (don't text and show up for every period) he will do anything to make sure you pass and truly understand the material. He loves students that participate and ask questions. Switched to math bc of him at UCSB!
Professor Enriquezs MATHM15 class is horrible. Sent him over 5+ emails asking him a question about a test and finally responded weeks later! On top of that was very rude and unprofessional when answering your questions. Quizzes and Test are fairly easy. Wish I had a better experience.
He is pretty caring when it comes to grading. Let's you redo a lot of things. But he's almost always late for class. Once he didn't even tell us we didn't have class one day! We were all there, but he wasn't. We waited until 2:00; class started 1:00, and finally we gave up. He is also really bad at answering email questions. would not recomend.
This is the worst professor I've had my entire time at Moorpark College, he gives no feedback on test or quizzes and expects you to show work exactly like him. Towards the end of the semester he did not respond to emails and just expected students to figure thins out for themselves. I had the worst experience with his class.
The professor's lecture was confusing and harder for me to concentrate and keep in track. Whenever I do the homework assignments and quizzes in mymathlab, the system is messed up and I often get the answers wrong. That makes me feel anxious and upset.
I didnt think to check RMP until about two weeks in, and I can say the 1 star reviews are correct. Its near impossible to contact him and he doesnt care that we have personal lives and cannot always attend class. He doesnt respond to emails or questions and expects all work to be identical to his. Save yourself the frustration.
He is so bad that I created an account just to warn people to stay away from him. The fact MCC has this man employed as a teacher makes me question their entire competence of the school. He is that bad!
He is a kind and likeable man, but my biggest complaint is that the assigned, and required, homework did not always match the difficulty of the tests. I would have given him a 4 if the assigned homework was the same difficulty as the exams, and if he was not such a harsh grader. My tip for success: Always attend the math center for help.
Genuinely the worst professor I have ever had. He made everything 10x more difficult than it needed to be. His class is set up in the most inefficient way possible. He will never give full credit whether you get the right answer or not. His lectures are full of mistakes. Never answers emails. I would not EVER recommend this professor. He is awful.
Assigned homework isn't even related to quizzes/tests. Very harsh grader and wasn't able to pass the class because I got 50 and below on every quiz or test. Not able to get a hold of him and I wouldn't recommend him overall.
Great professor, very caring and kind. His grading is fair. Just pay attention in lectures and videos. Homework problems are really important
it was really expensive to join his class but i ended up dropping with a W and no refund on the $100+ access code. due dates were every other week which ended up being around 20 homework assignments and 3-4 tests. if you're not good at math or you have other hard classes, steer clear of this professor. I couldn't learn from his recorded lectures
How his class for CalcM25A works: Tests- hard (he is a tough grader and will take off points if its not done in a certain way) I usually got a B, C, or D on tests Homework- no points taken off if turned in late, homework was often unrelated to lectures and excessive (knewtonalta) do the homework for more points to pass Lectures- needs organization
This was by far the worst professor I have ever had. Please avoid taking his class, he is highly unprofessional and a terrible teacher. He usually just writes up equations, points at the board and expects you to have understood the entire chapter based off of his nonexistent explanation. Beware he may edit the syllabus a week before the final.
Professor's lectures need organization. Tests are tough, but homework with unstuck study ai can help boost your grade. Overall, a challenging class, but doable with the right approach.
Class was fairly easy, as long as you payed attention in class and did homework and quizzes (uses Newton Alta for them), is willing to further explain if you ask. Will be dropped if miss 3-4 or more classes without excuse.
His lectures feel all over the place, and unorganized. He then assigns homework for every lecture but the homework includes problems/material that has not been discussed yet leaving you to need to do your own research or use ai to help. The WORST math teacher at moorpark
Terrible communicator, used AI proctored tests after the first test and completely changed the syllabus Quizzes are completely irrelevant to the course as you watch an old zoom video about a completely diffrent subject and then have t/f questions. Only good things is that the practice is exactly like the test just a lil more hard.
He really made sure to utilize class time to actually teach everything that would be on the tests and quizzes. I really appreciated how attending class actually benefited you to do well. He also posted all of his prior zoom lectures on canvas. It was a hard class, but he did a really good job to teach the topics
He does not let you go to the bathroom unless your work is finished. His due dates for papers in person are not clear. I was not able to connect with this teacher in anyway and do not recommend him for anyone!
He was way too hard to get ahold of never answers emails and even didn't show up to study hours on finals week. Honestly worst teacher I've had my entire time here
Lots of homework and very random. Some weeks you'll have no assignments other times 5 due same day. Released practice tests for the first 2 but not the last 2. You have to pay about $45 for a subscription to the homework page he uses which is awful. Class feels like an abandoned canvas homework, you kinda gotta figure everything out yourself.
You have to buy a $45 subscription to Knewton Alta in order to do the homework (due every two weeks) and quizzes. Class starts with a lecture and ends with a worksheet, which after you finish you can leave. Final was online, twenty-three questions, and super easy. The material isn't difficult, just pay attention and try to participate.
