Brother Gho was great! ECON 150 material is difficult, but Brother Gho takes the time in and outside of class to help you understand the material. If you work hard a seek his help you will do well in class.

He will let you redo any assignment, and will help you with absolutely any question you have. He is open to feedback, and adjusts his teaching to fit the needs of the class.

Excellent professor! Absolutely determined to make sure you can pass. He doesn't just give away free credit, but he gives numerous opportunities to learn or relearn the subject. He allowed us to retake or redo any assignment throughout the course as well. Would definitely recommend.

He is one of the nicest humans/teachers you will ever meet. He is always available and happy to help with any questions students have. Very quick to respond back to emails. A lot of the course is online and he doesn't give you an attendance grade. Sometimes the way he explains things is confusing, but he will go over any questions students have.

Be prepared for a quiz every class and lots of homework. It is manageable though. Overall, I enjoyed the class and did well for not really understanding economics. I will be taking his class again next semester.

Professor Gho is an amazing teacher. I took math for the real world from him and as someone who isn't great at math, I was able to do pretty great in his class. He is willing to meet with you whenever works for you. I was able to ask any question in class and he would go over it in class. Highly would recommend Professor Gho's class.

Brother Gho cares for all his students. He would spend extra time helping you go over things that are unclear to you. There are 3 exams and one final, he would drop the lowest exam grade. He gave out notes before his lecture. If you participate in class and study, you will get a good grade.

I was able to learn well because i was able to take questions from the HW, or class and discuss them in his office hours. office hours were a huge success block, along with being able to redo most assignments. genuinely great, you get what you put in and I would not change that about the teaching approach.

Honestly, I was super terrible at math my whole life. But Brother Gho helped me so much. And even though I didn't master it, he spent extra time helping me to understand it. I became really good friends with him and really came to trust him and advice he gave. 10/10 in my opinion.

Brother Gho's intro economics class definitely is an in-person class although you do a lot of out of class work. In class work is a lecture with a note sheet you fill out as he goes through slides. Then you end with a quiz going over the things you covered. He is more than willing to work with you. The class was challenging but still a great class.

My only complaint is that some Learn Smarts are very time consuming and unhelpful, if he would consider waiving certain assignments, I would have no complaints.

As a professor Dr. Gho clearly knows his stuff. He does a wonderful job at taking topics that are hard to understand, and making it easy to understand. That being said, the class itself for me was difficult. I have a hard time with ECON classes. Dr. Gho is willing to meet with you, and will help you work on stuff if you dont understand.

Professor Gho has been incredibly understanding and helpful throughout this semester, he has made time to help me understand the material I missed and makeup quizzes that I missed. His lectures are easy to understand and the paper copy of the notes is super helpful!

Brother Gho allows you to redo assignments as many times as needed and also gives out practice exams to help prep for exams. There are problems given throughout class to help learn the concepts. Brother Gho uses prints out papers with the main points of the lecture, with definitions, questions, or graphs. These handouts help with visualizing. You work with the group you sit with most of the semester on answering questions and doing quizzes. He is very open to office hours and encourages practicing the pre-exam quizzes.

He was super awesome! Clearly a smart guy. He has a print out that you will use as notes to follow along with the lecture and answer questions. It tests your comprehension of the material as you are learning it and you can use it as notes to study for the test. You will have a short quiz on every lecture that you work through with a group.

I failed this class before and it's been a lot easier for me with Brother Gho. The lectures are interactive enough to stay engaged, there's a good amount of homework, and he accepts late work. He's very accessible and happy to help and genuinely cares about his student as people. My one recommendation is to talk about and break down formulas more

Professor Gho is a really good friend and teacher, always taking care of his students, especially when you are committed to the class. Macroeconomics is my second class with him, and it has been a really good learning time. The class and the quizzes are really good and encourage you to work in group but also give you a perspective.

I gave a 4 only because his lectures rely heavily on PowerPoints, and sometimes he doesn't explain things very clearly. However, he really cares about his students. I really enjoyed taking Econ 150 with Dr. Gho. You have to show up for the group quizzes but they're super easy. The homework is harder than the exams, but as long as you do the practice exams, you'll pass! Homework is easy and helpful. The things that helped me the most in my learning and succeeding for his class were the note sheets he always has for each class, the LearnSmarts we did, and the 3x5 note card he lets you use for exams; anything you can fit on the note card can be used for exams. There's really no downside to taking economics from Brother Gho!

Some of the text's books homework seemed unnecessary, and it was sometimes hard to understand the concepts he was trying to explain. Other than that, he was a great! His top priority was always helping students learn as much as possible, he is very understanding of difficulties, and he allows late work.

As a junior i've dealt with a lot of different professors and none have showed as much care for their students as brother Gho has. He gives you his time after class to tutor you one on one, he misses time with his family in the evenings to stay late and make sure you understand concepts, and he gives you his full attention when you ask for it.

Brother Gho genuinely cares about his students. I've taken Macro&Micro with him; he will give you all you need to understand/pass the class. He gives out AWESOME notes & tries his best to answer questions. The only downside was the Smart Book assignments, they were long & often not super related to pertinent material for each unit. 10/10 reccomend.

Brother Gho does a great job teaching. The notes are all on canvas which helps me go back and review what I did not understand and the homework is never too hard. I missed a week once and when I went into office hours to take the quizes I missed, brother Gho went over everything I missed so he'll do a whole lot to help you when you ask for help.

I like the macro class that he teaches. The textbook and learning activities are very useful for getting the information that I need and getting it cemented into my mind. Sometimes I feel that he does not always answer questions directly when asked in class which can lead to some confusion, but he will usually eventually get to the answer.

This teacher is amazing. I am taking both his micro and macro econ classes and he has been very considerate about grading. Most of his assignments aren't due a specific date which allows me to do important homework for other classes. highly recommend.

I've had to miss class a few times due to doctors appointments and feeling sick. He took time out of his day on a Friday allowing me to make up work that I missed and catch me up in the material we went over in class. A course component that has helped me is the worksheet at the being of each class so you can follow along with the lecture.

Brother Gho actually cares. It's a refreshing class, despite the difficulty of material. He prepares handouts with terms and other great things to help us prepare for exams. A very helpful professor who really tries to help the students.

Brother Gho is one of the kindest professors I've had at BYU-I. I had him for both Econ 150 and 151. He uses a lot of presentations, but they are posted with his notes which is super helpful. He is also super good with working with you as a person. He let me take his tests on paper instead of online because I just test better that way.

The component that helped me learn the most is the case studies we did. They helped me to apply what we were learning in class. Accepts late work, tries to keep everyone engaged in class by using object lessons, says jokes and isn't scary at all. If you have questions about a problem he'll do it on the board and makes sure everyone understands. So I'd say super helpful and caring.

Brother Gho makes economics easier to understand. I am not very into math or anything that is related to numbers, but his lectures are easy to understand. He makes sheets per lecture so we can fill in some blanks and solve some problems/questions.

Doctor Gho is an amazing professor! I have been taking him for Micro Economics, and he has been doing a great job. He is very easy to work with, his lectures are very easy to understand, and he is very efficient with being open whenever you need help with something.

Marcus Gho is a great professor, I took Lean Six Sigma from him and it was an awesome course. He taught great material, however, when it came down to the practical skills in excel, I wish we had spent more time understanding and creating the spreadsheets and formulas that we would use later on in quizes and tests.
