She is a wonderful teacher. I really enjoy her teaching style. Although she is a kind of strict with homework and presentations, you really can learn a lot from her class.

Marcy is one of the best teachers in De Anza. Clear and helpful lectures. Some students consider her as a hard teacher, but you will accept an A if you finish all her homework on time and attend the class. Also, she's very patient and easy going. Her class will be tough for students who lazy and expect to learn nothing. Do all HW and prepare for the test you will get Easy A. She's a tough grader. Every class you have a quiz exclude exam days. Every quiz worth 20 points whereas the midterm worth only 25. I missed one quiz, and my grade dropped like 6%. If you are determined to improve and not fearful of challenges - you will do well, even though your grade might not reflect your knowledge. Focus on becoming proficient but not on the grade.
