omg. she is awesome. she is so funny and really gets you into the topic. if you think you might need help, she will be there doing everythig ahe can. her tests aren't hard. you just have to pay attention, and that isn't difficult with her teaching! take her class, trust me, you will pass and you will learn something!

She is a very fun teacher but if you are looking for an easy class this is not one of them. She is very helpful but be ready for alot of work and studying. Normally you will have something due every class and constant tests and quizzes plus writing assignments. Great teacher, just be ready to work.

I had this instructor for two classes. She is good and provides extensive reviews. You do have to do a lot of work...but who expects these kind of classes to be easy.

Great teacher! Extrememly interesting and helpful! Best teacher ever! Study all the notes for exams and you will get an A! She will answer any questions you have. Good sense of humor too.

This is an instructor that should be cloaned. She gives 150% to her students. Anyone that takes her class knows she cares in your success however she is no pushover. If I hadn't had her for my intro. coarses I would have lost interest however she created a passion for me know more. GREAT TEACHER!!!

One of the best teachers that I have ever had. Goes out of her way to make sure that you understand everything that is said. She will draw you diagrams, stay after, have you come to her office, whatever it takes for you to get it. Made class fun. I had her for a morning class, and she definitely woke me up every time!

Mrs. Bolton is an amazing professor, she is helpful, nice, and pretty much makes biology fun!!! She takes all of her tests from her power point presentations so take lots of notes!!!! I would recommend taking the lab with her while taking the lecture, thats what i did and I got an A in both classes!

Ms. B is personable, funny and engaging. Lecture outlines on her website that is backed up by a powerpoint presentation, try copy and paste outline in word then fill it the details during class. Tests on material covered in class only. Skimming the text is necessary to clarify some points and for homework. Wish she taught more classes!

Professor Bolton is a real treasure here at CSM. The course is challenging enough, however, she gives you everything you need to pass the exams. She provides lecture notes, powerpoints, videos and one-on-one help if you need it. I only had her for lab which is traditionally easy anyway,but, I am glad I had her for a semester. I would recommend her.

I enjoyed taking this online course. Professor Bolton was very involved and helpful. I appreciated her weekly involvement with the class and reminding us that she is always available if we had any questions. Pace yourself and read each chapter and you should get an easy A.

She knows 'teaching" and takes it as a responsibility not a job. Never rushed me when I needed help. Gives time to grasp the material fully before going to the next lesson; that is what I like most about her. Material is tough but she teaches it so well that getting an "A" is possible. Recorded her lectures and test was all what she had covered.

She's GREAT! Down to earth, funny and caring. She tells funny personal stories. She's entertaining even when the material isn't. There are 4 tests: study her online notes& powerpoints to pass. This class is not "easy" but she at least makes it enjoyable. Take her for lab too if possible. **Register early, Her classes ALWAYS fill quick**

This is one of CSM's best professors. Ms. Bolton is a gem. A&P is a difficult subject, but she doesn't make it any harder than it is. She helps you to understand the topics so easy with her revised A&P textbook. Take her and go to tutoring with Penny and you'll definitely get a good grade.

I love taking genetics with Professor Bolton. I learn so much from her the few weeks we have had the genetics lab. She is a very good professor that always explains what we're doing, why we're doing it and how it will be useful to us later in our careers. Absolutely amazing professor. I had such a great semester with Mrs. Bolton, I am taking her again for Microbiology. She is so personable and makes sometimes difficult or boring material interesting. There is a lot of content discussed throughout the course but her PowerPoints and videos online are helpful. If you put in the effort to study, youll get the grade you want.

Overall great experience. Gives you what needs to be done and by when and grades fairly.

Professor Bolton was by far the best professor Ive ever had. I had her for 2080 and 2010. Those classes are not easy but she was so amazing and so helpful and wanted me and my class to be successful. Im gonna miss being her student!

Best Professor I've ever had. Just amazing and very understanding. Anytime you have questions or concerns you can email or talk to her in office hours. If you study the lectures really well you will be fine for the exams. Attendance isn't actually mandatory but if you want to do well you gotta be there.

Professor Bolton was amazing for BIO2080. The course in general is hard but she truly wants everyone to pass and does everything she can to help you. Come to class so you can hear her explain the course work but its not mandatory. The book is helpful to read for extra understanding but also not mandatory. I would take her again in a heartbeat.

Prof. Bolton is one the best biology teachers I had at CSM. She will take the time to make sure you understand her curriculum. There are group case studies in the class, but you are well prepared to do them. Do not be afraid to talk to Prof. Bolton she will talk to you with respect and will do anything to aid her students.

Professor Bolton is very clear about what you need to know for exams. She does do group work occasionally and greets each person individually at the start of class. She truly cares about her students! I already registered to take her again in the fall for micro!

Took for online pathophysiology during Covid. No meeting times or zoom times, HEAVY on the working around your schedule as you can complete as much/ many of the assignments as you want ahead of time. I WISH she had done lectures/meetings instead of just us reading material. Shes very kind and loves to help!!

Professor Bolton provides great feedback and informational material. Everything you need to succeed in this course will be provided for you, and if you put in a good amount of effort, you will do well. I came into this course with background knowledge and still needed to study to succeed.

I had professor Bolton for three different classes and I did well in all of them. She puts a lot of effort into her classes, she provides videos that go along with course material as well as additional outside sources. I had Bolton for micro lab and lecture. She is super nice and will help you with any questions you have. If you have her for 13 weeks, work is spaced out and short. Exams are a huge chunk of the semester grade. She only narrows down what is on the exams except for the units they are on. The tests are good practice for the exam. She is accommodating

Anatomy/Physiology: For the 7-week online course, there were discussion boards and an exam every week. The instructions were clearly laid out and she even allowed people to go back to past discussions in the first two weeks to revise their posts and responses for better grades. The class wasn't horrible considering there were 2 body systems a week

If you're trying to figure out which professor to take for Microbiology, this is the professor you want to take. Honestly, I wish I would've taken her for my Human anatomy classes. She breaks things down to make sure you understand it, prepares you for exams, and makes class enjoyable for everyone. She's the most caring professor I've taken!

Great professor who is clearly passionate about her classes and the subjects she teaches. Very down to earth and approachable, always asking students what needs clarification. The subject material for genetics is very hard though, so come prepared to each class with questions to ask. Tests were pretty difficult, not everything covered in lecture.
