when i registered to take this class, i did not know what to expect it was a class i took because i was late to registered and to my suprise i ended up liking it very much.DR. Clark is the best and believe it, i have learn a great deal from her class. she is very helpfull and understanding.rate A+

Best English/Lit teacher I've ever had. LSU's loss is FCCJ's gain. Outstanding at presenting material in an interesting way. Very fair and down to earth. Very highly recommended.

very understand teacher i had some personal problems and she let me turn my paper in late. I received high grades on my papers. she teaches african american writing with real interest and genuine love of our writing i highly reccomend her to anyone.

Dr. Clark is an excellent professor. She is down to earth and really cares about how her students are doing. Hand your assignments in on time and see her during her office hours regarding your papers (and follow her suggestions), you will have no problem getting a good grade in her class.

She is a smart teacher and not a hard teacher unless you are one of those dumb people who think you don't have to do anything in college, then you might not do good. :)

Clark is a wonderful teacher! We need more English professors that relate to the students and treat you with respect! She is funny and has a casual class atmosphere. At previous colleges I recieved a "D" with Clark I recieved a easy "A"

Very good teaching style. She is willing to help and doesn't make you feel stupid if something needs to be changed. A must take for english!

Ms. Clark is an awesome instructor !!! She must live to teach, because she was always well prepared with course assignments,couse documents,and notes. She was very incouraging to students,and made me feel as if there wasn't anything I could not do. I wish more professors were like her,caring.

She is really fun. You get to read alot of good literature and she loves what she teaches. Very helpful for tests and sheds light on the meaning behind the words. I guarantee after this class you will look at each story or poem you read differently. Funny lady

Amazing!This professor loves her subject. She teaches with such pride and motivation. Needless to say, she is interested with her students progress in their studies--. Attendance and tests are very important. She not that easy, but what do know; in college, knowledge is better than easy A... Forgive me, but i got an A!!!

Dr. Clark is AWESOME!! Down to earth, and very witty!! Her spirits is always HIGH!! She cares about your success, her handouts are helpful and will help you for future classes.

This is the BEST professor I have EVER had! Just because she has "dr" in front of her name does NOT mean she will treat you like crap! She REALLY cares about her student's success! You receive EVERY oppurtunity to do well in her class. There is NO reason for ANYONE to fail! EXPERIENCE DR. CLARK!!!!! SHE KICKS BUTT!!!!

A teacher who loves her stuff, do what is expected and this class will be easy, don't do your homework and you could end up with a pop quiz, extra reading and miss out on good lecture time.

She rocked! I could not have asked for a better teacher!

This was a great class. Dr. Clark explained everything so that you understood it. The tests were fair. Attendance is important. But the class was so fun that you don't want to miss it anyway.

She is a great professor. Definitely born to teach. Gives her students every opportunity to get an A in her class. Classes are very interesting. Had her for 1101 and enjoyed her class so much took 1102 with her also.

She is an excellent professor. She is excited to be there and excited about what she is teaching, which of course makes everything come alive. I also really liked that she allows people to disagree with her anf have their own opinions. Alot of professors are not open to that. So far this has been my favorite college course, and it was b/c of her.

She does require you to do all your work but is very helpfull if you are willing to ask for help. Her office door is always open to look over your essays and help you suceed. Definitely one of the best professors anyone could hope for.

Dr. Clarke is hands down the best proffessor I have had in my college career. She is excited to be at class and treats her students with a respect that I have rarely seen in the college environment. She is not an easy prof. w/ 4 degrees and 2 phd's She cannot be BS'ed but if you are there to learn, she is the prof for you!

Really easy teacher. as long as you go to class and turn in your homework you will get an A. oh and if you have an problems she loves it when you go talk to her in her office. There is almost no way to fail. Just dont lie to her. she knows!

Extremely entertaining. Dr. Clark is incredibly passionate about literature. I seriously DO NOT recommend this professor if you like to skip class and/or do not have a firm grasp on the English language. She has no mercy for slackers and those that do not own a thesaurus. That said, if your papers are eloquent and you attend class, it's an easy A.

She talks alot and has a strong personality. Strong enough to come off as rude or agressive. Homework was easy enough, but when it came to the final paper the only reason I got an A was because I tracked her down five times to get her to revise it. However, she is a very clear, good teacher.

Dr. Clark is a great teacher and she is also very fun. She teaches for the students to get a better understanding of what is going on. She cares about the students but at the same time she is not going to kiss anyone's ass who does not want to work hard. And that is how teachers should be...

she was so sarcastic!! she made you think she was there to answer anything yet when you sent her an email she hardly replied! and let me tell you you will never forget that she taught at LSU or that she has a million degrees in everything! her grades are easy to get but listening/looking at her is well worth it!

Best teacher I have had since I have been in school. She is very helpful. She is always open for questions and discussions. She has a great personality. Make sure you do all home work, come to class; but if you don't come to class make sure you dont lie. She likes the truth. I strongly recommend her. She is awesome.

Greatest professor I have ever taken in college. Matter of fact, I took her in two semesters back to back. She's very intelligent and free-minded and loves to have discussions in class. If you go to her office and introduce yourself and get to know her, she can become very helpful. Oh yeah, she's funny, too. If I could take her again I would.

Dr. Clark is an amazing professor. I had no idea Victorian literature could be so interesting. Class discussions were incredible. I wish all my classes were like Dr. Clark's. I'm looking forward to taking her Shakespeare class in the Spring.

Dr. Clark is an excellent teacher. Her entire class is open discussion on the stories and poems. You must read the assigned work. She specifies what will be on the test and gives a lot of assigments to help you understand the work. I expect an A.

Great teacher, is not necesseraly an easy A but it sure is a fun class. Dr Clark sure is open minded and has a touch with people. Only thing is that if you are not interested in literature at all it might be hard to connect with her passionate speeches tough. And if you don't like to read there is a good chance you will not pass the class ;)

VERY amazing teacher. I highly recommend her. She's my favorite professor at this school.

I took this class last year and it has been the best class I've ever taken. She makes you want to come to school, and thats a hard thing to do : ) Shes funny and full of life, yet you still walk out of her class at the end of the semester knowing you've learned something and gotten way more than what you payed for out of it!!! Take her!!!

Nice teacher, pretty funky. If you fail this class your'e pretty much a moron. Read ALL of the stories and go through the study guides. When taking notes - note ALL analogies and her opinions- they will be expected of you on the not so hard but not easy exams. Be ready to hear some Clarkism! :)

Mm, not bad. She's witty and humorous, and usually makes the class seem entertaining. The homework wasn't so bad, and you'll be alright if you study for her exams. I'm not as enthusiastic about literature, but it was still an okay class.

YAY! What a fun class! She has to be one of the weirdest teachers I have ever had. You really have to work to fail this class; if you do not bring your books, attend, or do the essays then you will but if you come and do the work you are told to do you will pass. Ps: She will help you with all of the essays if you do not take this up you are STUPID

Good instructor, I enjoyed the class. To ensure an A in her class take detailed notes, as a lot of the questions come only from notes and not from the hand outs; not very flexible with revisions, or if you miss a test, unless you took her before, or you are one of her favorites. I enjoyed the class and would take her again, she knows English.

She is the best teacher ever! At first I wasnt sure about her. I had her for 2 English classes and she was Awesome. Every week you have a short paper due, and then a research paper at the end, but she will help you if you ask. As she says, "Laugh at my jokes and you will pass" If she taught other classes besides English, I would be in the front row

good teacher, hard to please sometimes. sort of a hippie, but she is fun. Tends to grade better for people that participate a lot in class. Would take her again.

Dr. Clark was an amazing instructor for this course. She was enthusiastic, helpful, and kind. She has her days like all people, but she is a fantastic instructor. After ENC1101 I signed up for her ENC1102 class.

If you're looking for an easy A, then take someone else. If you're looking to really learn and really improve your writing, take Dr. Clark. She's a great teacher! I learned a LOT from her, and I feel prepared to take more classes that have writing because I had her.

Great teacher! Would take her again. She really knows her stuff and makes it interesting!

Go to class, write the papers and follow her instructions- you'll have an A. You take this class to become better at writing. You will not get better without writing papers and making mistakes, so go with the flow and put in the time.

Wonderful Teacher!! First time taking online class and I highly recommend this one! Class was organized and easy to follow. Will have 3 essays and 1 research paper. Lots of writing but hey its an English Class--what do you expect?

She was an awesome teacher! I had her my first semester and I learned a lot in her class. Just do well on the essays and participate in class and you should do well in her class. I'd take her again if I could. Highly recommended.

Dr. Clark is such a great storyteller and she keeps you awake with her awesome examples! She really helps you out and is definitely there for you if you need help. See her after class or at her office hours and you can get an A. I would take another class of hers if I could.

Such an interesting teacher. 5 essays, and some 1 page homework response papers, but thats really about it for the workload. Also 3 tests but their super easy. She is very helpful, if you go to her office for help you will get an A on your papers. She doesn't mind helping at all and is very entertaining, do not back talk her though!

If you're looking for an easy A I would not recommend this class. But if you really want to learn something this professor is great. Very interesting and helpful. Always available to her students.

This class wasn't necessarily easy but the professor was great. She really teaches you and explains things very well. She taught me how to become a better writer and she really cares about her students.

I really enjoyed her class. Great personality, but doesn't take crap from the clowns in the class. The class wasn't real easy, but that is more indicative of the material. However, an A is not too hard to get if your willing. She is very helpful and one of the better professors, but she is a LSU fan...sigh...what a shame.

Good Teacher! She is pretty funny and keeps class interesting. She'll help you with what you need help with. In the first class she tried to scare us in the first class, but she ended up being really nice. I liked her alot. You just have to be willing to put in the work.

To say she is amazing is an understatement. I am taking all her classes. she is very strict in the lower level classes, but you leave knowing your stuff for the higher classes. She is a fountain of knowledge that if not tapped into is your loss.

She is very stern on attendance but for a good reason. She gives great lectures but incorporates fun facts and stories into her lectures that make the time pass and keeps the environment entertaining and relaxed.

This professor is very helpful. She is always cheerful and has a unique way of teaching. I would reccomend her class to everyone. She has a strong sense of humor and makes all points of her lecture very clear. Take notes on her slide and you will do fine in her class.

Dr. Clark is a phenominal professor. I had her for both ENC 1101 and LIT 2000. She is actually an easy professor, as long as your willing to put for the effort to get the grade you want. Her office hours are liberal and she WILL help YOU; if you ask! Thanks to her, I have had no issues with any papers since.

Frankly English classes are hard for me to begin with. She is very clear on what she wants, very helpful, I actually enjoyed going to her class. Her midterm and final are super hard (even if you study). She has 6 pop quizzes. For English LIT I would highly recommend her. If you can get her for on of her other classes, take her. she is fun.

Dr. Clark is an AWESOME example of someone who cares about their students and the subject in which they are instructing. I had her for a Humanities class and liked her so much I took her again for LIT 2000. As long as you are willing to put forth the effort and can back up your arguments, you'll do just fine.

I took her online 8 week class. Dr. Clark responds to e-mails quickly and will help if you need it. The paper assignments aren't overly difficult. You MUST be able to properly cite sources using MLA format. We did a lot of that in this class. The work load was high, but if you are motivated, pace yourself, and meet her deadlines, you will do fine.

I took her online class and the textbook was NEEDED. GReat teacher that will help in any way she can. She responds farely quickly to e-mails and the syllabus is highly understandable. You must read, read, and read. Papers are quit easy.

Teacher is lively & funny. Class is easy. She prints a lot of stuff to help you from spending money on a bunch of small books. She makes class fun. Just listen & take some notes & you will have no problem passing. She offers extra credit as well. I enjoyed her class.

She was an okay professor. She helped me with some things, but I struggled with the timed essays and the descriptive essay we had to write and I am pretty decent at writing! If you are looking for an easy A, this class is not for you!

This class was extremely interesting!She loved what she was teaching and was very enthusiastic about it. A lot of busy work but didn't take much time to do. Made us watch cheesy movies at the end but I definitely loved her class over all!

Essays, discussion boards and homework writing assignments are in almost every module. Also, quizzes are fill in the blank so the professor had to regrade them for you to receive your true score. Quizzes are not very hard and are based off of power points. A LOT of reading is involved. Tests have a strict time limit that is very difficult to meet.

Awesome professor, jokes around a lot and grades fairly. She goes over papers multiple times so that she can give the proper grade.

Excellent professor who responds to emails quickly and gives detailed feedback on your work. She helped me improve my writing immensely. I highly recommend taking one of her courses.

Tough grader but made me a better writer. Very organized online class. Expectations and grading criteria provided up front. Only 1 attempt on tests & quizzes. Grades assignments once a week & updates blackboard 1 x per week. Responds to emails w/ detailed feedback. Would definitely take again.

Professor Clark was an amazing professor. She provided the right amount of work. She doesn't give you mountains of work, and if she does then she gives you plenty of time to do it in. I believe we had to write around 3-4 essays with a 12 page research paper at the end.
