All material is on the web for this class. Will meet with students during office hours for extra help although won't do much for those who don't attend or try on their own.

She knows her stuff. She a nice person once you get past her drill sergent act.

At first, you might want to switch professors, but after a while you get over it. She's very knowlegible and gives a lot of personal attention if needed. If you dont care, she wont like you. If you do care, she is nice to you. Her tests are easy, and as long as you dont do stupid things, shes ok

Comes off to some people as rude, but I thought she was just trying to teach a structured class. Very knowledgeable and thorough teacher. Also, she gives you most of your assigned work the first day and you take it from there.

You better attend class because she will not help you. However, if she knows your coming to class and trying, she will help you. Yes, she can come off as rude, but if you take it with a grain of salt it will not bother you.

Ms. Cooksey is one of the best computer teachers that I have ever had. She is very helpful and gives you alot of opportunites for you to pass her class with a great grade. Very easy class. Miss Cooksey is willing to help you, once you show interest. Very good teacher.

She is a fair teacher, but she doesn't take you know what from people. She helps you in the class by giving you some bonus points, but not much. All in all okay teacher.

I believe there are alot of u with personal issues w/her b/c she wouldn't babysit u. B attentive & go 2 class. U r in college not preschool. She's awesome & very willing to help. She's similar to God--helping those that help themselves! She repeats but can't go back 4 each stud -class wouldn't end

Okay teacher, just be careful not to get on her bad side. She has violent mood swings, but she has a good heart. The class is easy, at least.

through the majority of the semester i wasnt too fond of Mrs. Cooksey, but as i got to know her io began to like her. Her tests arent that bad and if you actually study a bit and pay attention in class, you should have no problem passin them. she didnt give that much homework and if you respect her, than she has no problems helping you.

Mrs. Cooksey is not what students make her out to be in fact I liked her class. I enjoyed when she would pick on the slow side of the class room. She is most helpful in her office when she doesn't have an audience to shine on you.

In a class where I did not think I would learn much, I learned a good amount of information. She is a class A teacher in my book!!

MRS COOKSEY IS AWESOME! SHE WAS SO HELPFUL AND VERY WILLING TO ASSIST WITH ANYTHING ANYONE NEEDED. THE PEOPLE THAT ARE WRITING NEGATIVE THINGS ABOUT HER ARE OBVIOUSLY THE MORONS WHO SIT IN THE CORNER TALKING ABOUT LINDY'S WHILE ROLLING A JOINT... MOST OF THEM DIDN'T EVEN SPELL HALF OF THE TEXT RIGHT IN THEIR ASSESSMENTS ON THIS SITE.

Mrs. Cooksey is a really good teacher. She gives like 10 assignments but you are only required to do 5 of them. I mean how easy is that?!?!? There is no final exam...and if you do bad on a test she allows you to do 1 retake. Definately a good class.

Ms Cooksey is a great teacher. She knows the material. She helps if you have a question. The class is fast paced so pay attention and you will do well.

Mrs Cooksey gives you a detailed schedule of when all the assignments are due at the beginning of the semester. Gives you a lot of assignments to choose from, and you only have to do 5. She led us through several assignments in class. Attendance is necessary, but you are learning stuff you can really use. She was great.

Good teacher. I would suggest you take extra time to practice if you are not already familiar with the programs as there is usually enough time to go over everything in class. Overall, she's a little tough but will spend extra time with you if you need it. Good teacher.

Probably should have been a drill intructor, so she could yell and "baby" people even more. Fake personality and smile, but is a great teacher if you listen and do your homework. Overall I liked her, even though she would have classic meltdowns in class. Kiss up to her and laugh at her dry jokes, it will come in handy once she does your grades.

Mrs Cooksey was a pretty good teacher. Do the tutorials before the next class, so that you will know whats going on. If you slow up the class or have zero experience with Microsoft Office then she will put on the spot. very knowledgeable. it's an easy class if you show up and do you're homework. otherwise you'll be lost and it's hard to catch up... especially if you're as lazy as i am. i would have easily gotten an A if i actually tried.

She's a good teacher. As long as you show up, keep your cell phones off, and stay awake... you'll make an a. If you miss a class its hard to catch up and easy to get lost.

I TOOK HER ONLINE COURSE AND IT WAS EXTREMELY A BREEZE, YOU WILL NEED THE TEXT TO PASS, AND COMPLETE THE ASSIGNMENTS, TEST AND QUIZZES ARE TAKEN FROM HOME. SHE PROVIDES EXAMPLES AND VIDEOS TO HELP COMPLETE YOUR ASSINGNMENTS. SHE IS VERY HELPFUL AND GETS BACK TO YOU AT HER EARLIEST CONVIENINCE. I RECVD A B IN THE COURSE AND I WOULD TAKE AGAIN!

Is a good & fair teacher. Could work on her people skills, but tough all the same. U need 2 come 2 class, otherwise u will be COMPLETELY lost on tests. Gives rather big projects 4 small amounts of points. But overall, I enjoyed her class & learned a lot about the programs I thought I had all figured out. Easy A if you come 2 class & pay attention.

I took her online course and it was fairly easy. I made an A by completing the homework assignments, quizzes, and taking the test which are all done online from any computer, at home or at school. You definitely need the textbook and microsoft XP and the programs. I would recommend taking her online course!

Good teacher, very straight to the point. MUST HAVE TEXTBOOK, you need it to complete tutorials and assignments. Class is VERY EASY but also very time consuming! You must be willing to dedicate the time and effort needed to complete the work and keep up.

I took this class online. It was very easy as long as you stayed on task and completed the assignments by the due date. Easy A!

When I first took this class she came off kind of mean but turned out to be a nice lady. She was helpful and understanding. I was little lost and just asked questions and she answered them clearly. You need the book you use it everyday. Just come to class and she gives the answers to the test. EASY A!!!!

I took this teacher and passed with an "A". The class is really easy as long as you do the work and pay attention in class. You will need the book for this course so get it. In the beginning and at times she can be a little rude but she will eventually warm up to you.If you have questions she always answers them and help you out. Great teacher!

I really liked this class. I thought it would be kind of boring since I already knew how to use the Microsoft Office stuff but I learned even more about it. Make sure you go to class and do the tutorials they are extremely helpful.

Exceptional. No-nonsense and very professional. You have to attend class and do the tutorials to do well. I thought I knew a lot about the course topics but I learned a great deal. I highly recommend her as an instructor.

Previous post are a lie! She is NOT the worst prof. She is very helpful and understanding! I had a very difficult semester w/family & she understood. Will help if you show the effort/interest. The things she expect you to know about computers is elementary stuff (REALLY). This is college...get with the program or get left!!!

Normally Im really good with computers but this class is somewhat difficult. Shes a good teacher but sometimes gets frustrated when you dont understand and when you ask a question she'll put you on the spot. Attendance isnt mandatory but if you miss the tutorials you're gonna be completely lost come test time. Must get the book!!

If you go to class she does the work for you, you barely have to do anything. She's an easy A. Make sure you do the study guides and study. We started a student discussion board and everyone was putting answers for them so it made it easier. DEF TAKE HER. Easy A! and no final!

This class has tests for certification--all of the information is in the book and the teacher covers what will be on the test--requires outside practice and you shoud attend class--this is a college course-not high school

I took the class online. It is fairly simple as she posts study guides for the tests and a lot of the test questions are from that and the extra credit quizzes. Just follow directions and keep up with the work.

Great teacher. Very clear in class and with what she expects you to do. She tells you ahead of time when assignments will be done in the classroom, so you can come in and get your assignments done instead of doing them alone at home. She goes through everything! Gives study quides for all tests. Hands on class! Very easy if you attend.

She knows the subject very well. I took her class twice, once in person and online. I failed the class in person as of missing 2 tests (my fault) but will say she does move very fast and sometimes can loose the class. Took her class the second time online and found it much easier to work at my own pace and made a B+. Either way not a hard class

Ms. Cooksey is doesn't put up with any nonsense but she is very fair and helpful, especially if you help yourself by doing the assigned work and coming to class. It's not hard to get an "A" if you do the right thing.

She's good teacher. She tends to get an attitude with students when they miss a few things. Overall, the class was easy. The study guides are questions from exactly the test. Easy class

Pretty simple class. All online, no textbook needed. Just don' think that you are going to go through it using all the shortcuts!! The program literally wants you to use the taskbars for EVERYTHING. She uploads powerpoint study guides, but you can google almost all of the answers and they come right up.
