I found her to be easily understandable. Depending on how you learn, she is aweful or outstanding. She'd explain one topic the entire time if you asked her too. Some topics needed to be approached by several different angles to fully understand.

I thought she was a good professor.She wasn't hard or mean when it came to homeowork or tests. She was pretty straight forward and she tried to help if you asked for it.

I thought she was really nice and really cool on a personal level. She reviews for all tests and quizes and gives worksheets to help your grade. DO NOT take her if you don't like going to class. She takes attendance everyday and it counts in your grade.

I thought that she was beyond any math teacher that I've had. The way she teaches is very clear and I think that she is a very nice lady. I recommend taking a class with her. She really will help you if you have ANY problems.

The class isn't difficult. Do the homework and go to class for notes. No need to read the book. She's condescending, however, and sometimes almost intolerable.

She is so sweet. Alot of notes and definitions but the tests are fair and the work is easy. Ask her questions!! She will help you step by step!

She is not as bad as these rating tell you. Most people that take her class hate math to begin with so she has a very ininterested class all the time. She is a tough grader, but the class is not that hard. Shes a sweet woman, very motherly.

This class messed me up really bad this semester. It was veyr hard. but i have to admit, if you go to her office hours and she knows you, you will pass the class. i wouldnt recommend this class to anyone if they dont want their gpa to drop!

i took her calc221 class in summer session before my freshmen fall semester and got an A without doing homework, studying, and even missed class once. Shes picky about cellphones but who isnt, and shes very boring but she does go over how to do the stuff

The math department here sucks...but I reccomend her above any of the other math teachers at Delaware. She doesn't have an accent. Go to office hours and show that you want to learn. she is very helpful. She can be a little stringent at times, but take her because she explains EVERYTHING very well. She is the head of the dept. and makes up tests

Everyone here doesn't believe they should earn what they deserve. Life doesn't give out "easy As". If you go to class, take notes, and study, you'll get what you deserve. Mrs. Donlan is a great teacher if you consider that.

i dont know wat everyone here is saying...donlan is a great teacher, she explains everything quite clearly and helps you whenever needed...go to class, take good notes and study and you will do just fine...dropped lowest quiz grade and tries to work with you as much as possible

If you have a good background in PRE-CAL and math, this class wont be that bad. But if you suck at math, I would not take her cuz she be unclear at times. Need to pay attention in class and do homework to do well on exams.

i took pre-calc in high school, honors class got As & Bs, took this class and i was totally lost. she moves extremely quick.. i dont know how you could miss a class unless you get someone else's notes. homework is given but youre not required to do it.. i recommend doing it, or else you will have no clue whats going on

Would not recommend this professor for calculus. It's a hard subject and she grades like none other. God help you if you miss a sign at some point, who care if you know the method. Final was ridiculous. She is helpful if you go to office hours though and show some effort in her class. I wouldn't say avoid her at all costs but if you can, do.

She is very knowledgable about her subject. I've always been terrible at math and hated it, but this is the first math course I've actually done well in. The material isn't always easy, but she knows her stuff. And she is always there during her office hours to help--doing the hw and going to her for help are the two things that got me an A.

This class is extremely boring. I fell asleep practically every day. She's an extremely sweet woman but she doesn't keep the students' attention very well.

It was the easiest math ever, but she should not put so much material for 50 min class. She is helpful if you do the homework, ask questions in class and go to her office. Excesive amount of homework.

Easy exams and homework assignments. I hardly ever viewed the online lectures because they're long and boring and you can learn the material directly from the book. Easy A.
