Ms. Juncker is the coolest teacher on Mission College Campus. She has a great method to teaching her classes and she is very down to earth, funny, and caring. She cares about all her students and does her best to help those in need. She's fun too!!!!!!

Juncker is one of those teachers who I would definately hang out with outside of school. Very helpful and her instructions are clear. However, this teacher isn't for the lazy. So PLEASE do not slack off in this class as she does tend to give alot of homework. Try and establish a nice relationship with her, she'll be very lenient.

Wow!I'm surprised about how much people complain about the work load. It's alot but that's the state requirement folks. College is supposed to be hard. She grades hard but very fair sticks to the syllabus you know it's coming from the first day. If you keep up it's not that bad. I did it with 15 credit hour load. Love her dark sense of humor too.

By far the best English literature professor I've ever had. I took English 1B with her my senior year of high school and am now a sophomore at a four-year university, and I still remember her lectures. Class with her was always intriguing and thought-provoking. Just read everything she assigns + come to class and you will do well.

She is an amazing teacher. I couldn't stop myself from giving her a feedback 'cause I normally don't. But,this was something I had to do. All those looking to sign up for her class are only in for a lot of fun and learning. She makes you write and write, though eventually you get over your fear of writing and in fact start enjoying it.

Ms. Junker is a good teacher. As long as you do the work you're fine. But expect 1-2 weekends where you'll end up writing 1000+words, excluding essays. Just recently during THANKSGIVING weekend, she assigned us 3 assignments totaling up to 750+ words. I guess she thinks we don't family and friends?

One of the most unique and memorable teachers under the sun. She has a fantastic presence and personality which made the class extremely enjoyable. I'm not going to lie, her class is tough work, but you will leave the class at the end of semester knowing you're a more powerful writer. Her communication is excellent, every email I sent was answered.

If you ever take English 905, be aware that she give a lot of essay for you to write. She always focus on your're grammar and used the book a lot. she is very nice teacher. She love to helps student out no matters what. If you take her class, let's just say, you will never be bored.

She's hard

Her class is hard but manageable. She's an example of teachers that deserve to be paid more than the meager wages they get. For exams, if you get a higher grade on the second one than you did on the first, your grade will change to the higher one. I got an 86% on the first test, and then a 95% on the second. So I got 2 95% on my exams.

The best ever! Though attendance is not mandatory you will miss a lot if absent. Her class is for the serious student who really want to learn. She makes everyone feels important no matter what you background/opinions are, someone who teaches unbiasedly and does not expect you to agree with her opinions to get good grades. She is the best.

She is one of the best English teacher in Mission! Very helpful teacher. There are weekly group quizzes but it is very helpful! Expect to write 3 out of class essays and 3 in class writing exams. If you try your best, I am pretty sure you will get a decent grade.

Juncker cares about teaching you how to write. If you do the work and don't get the grade you want you can rewrite the essay for a better grade - up to you if you want an A. So helpful & friendly, her notes in class are very clear. She wants participation so open your mouth & talk.

I love her! The class is very fun & interactive. All quizzes are taken in groups. There are only 3 exams (in-class essay) & 3 formal comps. Amazing professor. Class is fun, and her grading isn't too bad either. Of course, expect homework from her, but that's not a big deal. It's a very straightforward class. If you struggle on essays, she gives very great feedback and offers as much help as she can. The tests are done in groups so even if you miss reading a story or didn't analyze it completely, you can count on your group members.

My favorite professor at Mission! Incredibly invested in her class - it shows through solid feedback, thoughtful assignments, and reasonable homework. Homework isn't heavy, though it isn't light - balances well if you're taking 1-2 other classes in addition. Most of the work heavily focused on in-class group assignments, so collaboration is a must!

Honestly the best English teacher I've had in a long, long time. She cares SO much about her students. I had her the first semester COVID-19 hit and she really made sure we learned even though we were at home. Graded by papers, quizzes, homework. We do read stories/plays and she goes through and has in-depth discussions for those who need help.

No final if you don't miss any class. Great articles were chosen for reading. Her style of reading is more social, scientific, some kind of psychology. I learned lots of useful writing skills for English classes. If you REALLY want to study, take her. Make sure you have time for (many) assignments, but it's worth it.

Juncker works very hard to teach in a way that all students can learn no matter what level they are at. Very friendly, kind, and humorous. Do not be afraid to asks questions, and participation will enforce your understanding of course material. Very, very good course to introduce basics of Literature and what to expect if moving forward.

Be prepared to write. There are many writing assignments throughout the term ranging from a page to an essay. There will be homework every night but it is not that challenging. Her class was extremely helpful. She's very flexible and gives really good feedback on papers. I highly recommend her !! She's one of a kind.

I would recommend this class. It is not difficult but you have to make sure you do your reading and work outside of class. She has good teaching methods and is very helpful during office hours. She sets up all of her students for success.

TAKE HER OVER ANYONE ELSE! One the best educators I have ever been taught by. She is an amazing professor, she gives amazing feedback and is very flexible. There is a lot of group work but its not really hard work. If you attend every single class, you wont have to take the final. 3 main papers, unlimited revisions. Midterm and final same format.

Professor Juncker was one of the best English professors I've had. I really love english but I always feel like so many professors make it very boring, but this wasn't the case with her. Her readings were interesting and the homework was fun and never felt like too much. I highly recommend her if you're going to take english, she is the best!

Amazing professor, she cares for all her students. This class has group work every class and has biweekly reading quizzes. THERE IS A LOT OF READING. 3 Major papers that are pretty straight forward.

Engaging English class with a caring professor. Lots of writing assignments, but helpful feedback and flexibility. Unstuckstudy was a great study aid alongside the readings.

I loved loved loved this professor, she helped me more than in just being my teacher. Amazing lectures and I took a lot away from this class especially when it comes to writing essays, she gives great feedback, SUPER flexible, understanding. HOWEVER I suggest showing up every single class since she uses attendance for flexibility on the final.

I absolutely loved having her as a teacher, her lectures are engaging and she's a very flexible & understanding person. If you show up to every class you're exempt from the final which was awesome. Lots of reading and writing, but she gives good feedback and has a clear rubric. You participate in lots of group projects but I'd def take her again.

Professor Juncker is one of the best teachers I've ever had. I'm grateful I took her ENG1AX class in my first semester at Mission and ENG1B in the second. Her passion for teaching and care for students made a big difference for me. I highly recommend her to anyone taking English classes.

Very engaging lectures... and a lot of group interaction in class. Bit of a shame I got busy with other things early in the semester.

Makes class very welcoming, she's very funny so you won't be getting bored here! There's a lot of group work but its fun. I recommend attending every class because you won't have to take the final if you have a grade that's B or higher and you attended every class. She is sincere in helping you achieve your best so I would not worry in this class.

Professor Junckner is an excellent teacher. She is knowledgeable, prepared, and highly organized in her class presentations. All of the material is pre-loaded to the website and she knows exactly what she's going to do for each class. She posed challenging assignments to explore story themes and the methods used to present them. Highly recommended
