This class is a joke. If you are going to the "big school" do not take her. She is absent minded and very little help availbale. You will be better off taking this class in the "big school." It is so sad but this was a waste of my semester.

If you are serious about your studies and plan on attending a 4 year university, I strongly urge you to stay clear of this professor. You might get a good grade, but it will be your academic suicide. She is the worst professor I have ever had. Take Dr. Murakami if you can, he is amazing and brilliant, ARC is lucky to have him!

Did the same person write all of the below reviews? I noticed the all reference "big school" and are angry. Anyhow, I'm not sure what the negativity about Peg is-she filled in for another at the last minute and from what I can tell she is nice, moves along at an average pace, and very kind to her students. I'm getting an A and it wasn't too hard

Peg Scott lectures for he first part of the semester using the textbook as the source. The second half is filled with student presentations. Since the middle of October, every class has been consumed by presentations. The class is incredibly easy, but will not stimulate you academically. Read the book and you will ace the easy tests.

i dont understand why everyone is so mad, Peg is an awesome teacher, and is very sweet. She cut the final in half and gave it a week early to do her students a favor, how can you get mad?!? Trust me, the negative comments were likely NOT written by the same person. My whole research group felt this way about Peg. What she "teaches" is how to suck up, cut & paste, and waste paper. She is completely disorganized and clueless. We never knew what was due when. Worst prof I've had in 5 semesters at ARC - oh excuse me, "the LITTLE school".

Students are not "mad" at her, we are simply stating a fact that Peg did not teach us anything worthwhile to prepare us for REAL research out there. It was useless and I wish I had a different teacher. She cannot take criticism or hear suggestions. It's not about getting an A it's about learning.

OK, now I'm sure the same person is writing multiple comments, not just because of reference to "big/little" school but tendency to put CAPS in their entries.
