AVOID AT ALL COST!

VERY VERY VERY HARD TO LEARN FROM. She is very difficult to follow, and he examples are pretty much worthless, AVOID HER LIKE THE PLAGUE.

R-U-N! Had to learn from my book, not from her! Talks very fast, hard to follow! Uses big mathematical terms(sometimes i have to figure out what the question is asking before i solve it)Even scheduled appt-did not help at all. Same problem with explaining the material!

HORRIBLE!!!!!!! She's the worst teacher!! She should not be allowed to teach ANYWHERE!! She's like a spring bouncing all over the room!! She doesn't answer the questions asked by students and her tests are awful!! She's also VERY negative. Not supportive of her students at all.

She is absoluty awful!!!! i would not recommend her to anyone. you basically pay to teach yourself and she never answers when you have them. she goes back and forth and never stays on track. she doesnt need to be teaching math at a college level.

Worst teacher I have ever had. Had to drop the class two weeks in. teaches using her examples and doesn't take time to fully explain things. I hate her!!!!!!!!!!!

Mrs. Thrasher enters the room on your first day with bright clothing and personality. She wasted time and walked out of the class twice. Then she announces that everything is going to be different than what you were taught in other Maths. This is your que to head for the hills. DROP this class before it is too late.

I think that she has good intentions but she is an AWFUL teacher. She goes thru it all way too fast. I am having to pay a tutor to teach me everything b/c I have learned nothing from her. Also the person who sits beside me has failed the class 4 times so that shows how bad she. She also wants everthing done in her own "method". DONT TAKE HER!!!

This is by far one of the WORSE teachers I have had. She is a nice lady but she just can not teach AT ALL. She never teaches the class how to do HW for the night. She just goes over it really fast the NEXT class. How can you do HW if you never learned how?

I made A's in 100 and 112 and really was enjoying math. With this teacher you will be forced to teach yourself. You will look at your book and say "When did we do this?" She talks faster than you can write and most of the time what she has written is corrected by the STUDENTS! If she taught the material we wouldn't be out early everyday.

Thrasher is an AWFUL teacher. If you are thinking about taking her DON'T DO IT! She cannot teach to the common student and she doesn't ever understand questions asked. She is a horrible teacher! I dropped the class after failing a test. There is no way to catch up after failing, either. DO NOT SIGN UP FOR HER CLASS- SHE IS AN AWFUL TEACHER!!!!!!!!!

ok i made a 29 on the ACT in math and had all a's in high school math. I had an 62 at the end of this class. she is horrible and i hate her and jeff state as a whole. i have now moved on to Vanderbilt where i am attending the same math and a have a 94 in the class.

This teacher is awful. She cannot teach worth a flip. I hate her voice, and her teaching method. I made a 47 on the 1st test and dropped because I cannot let some idiot teacher mess up my GPA. Funny how I made an A in my last math bc that teacher was good. If you get Thrasher, drop the class bc she is not a good teacher at all.

EXTREMELY bad at time management.Focused on unseless info and rushed through the stuff that would be on the test.Teaching methods:VERY confusing.Had to teach myself material for the next class/test.Hmwk was barely like the test. Barely passing w/a C- by the final and my HS teacher had to tutor me and she didn't even understand the notes/hanouts.

this lady is a JOKE!!! in all of my days of math i never made below a B on any math assignment and her entire class was a struggle to keep a C... im sorry but if i had the power i would fire her on the spot! i have nothing nice to say about her! between her voice, teaching method, her stupid handout,and everything else that makes her HER;she blows

DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS. Very sweet lady, but does not teach math on a 2011 level. Its like she understands it, but no one else in the room does. Her methods are awful. And if your not asian, or already a math wis, then you will probably fail her class. :( AVOID AVOID AVOID

She may be really nice, but I've never had such a confusing and disorganized teacher. I had to teach myself the material each week since she literally DOES NOT teach ANYTHING and my grade suffered a lot from her lack of help. Avoid, avoid, avoid!!!

Must attend class to understand tests. Basically only answers homework questions during class. Very little actual teaching, but when she does it's terrible. Must check her grading system on tests as she doesn't know how to acurately do so. By far the worst instructor I've ever had.

started with 23 people in the class ended with 4 after everyone dropped ... only reason i passed with a C is because i spent hundreds on a tutor.

Save yourself and avoid her! She is the worst teacher I've ever came across. She teaches very little, and makes fun of you in front of the class if you ask questions. She is very fast, and explains things verbally instead of writing it down. She does very little problems. SHE IS AWFUL. Coming into her class I loved math, coming out I hate it.

She is a very reasonable and nice teacher. Her grading is very generous;however, she is awful. She talks about useless information. A lot of people just walk about because they are like what?! I would suggest another teacher who actually teachers and helps.

Oh please save yourself and do not take her. we were 35 students at the beginning and only 4 of us completed the class.

Terrible teacher. I personally had to teach students after class. She made up her own rules and refused to show students other ways of working problem. Often said, why use sissors to cut the grass. If you don't teach student how to operate the mower, then at least they have the basics of sissors to cut the grass.

I have A's in every other class she does not teach and when she does u have to correct her basic math skills she never works problems except homework questions and you will always leave confused HORRIBLE don't take any of her classes

Just don't. After the first 4-5 classes at the beginning of the semester, I ran and never looked back. Her idea of finite math is like learning a new language. Her notes from class look like Egyptian hieroglyphics I am not even joking. Never again.

Taking this class is a destined path to stress, anger, and frustration beyond any level. Taking this class made me completely forget how to do math problems the way I used to. Her "easier methods" are like reading Latin. She flies through problems at Mach speed. She's always jumping around the chapter. Just do you self a favor and don't.

She is very bad at relaying the concepts. Most of the time I went to class, zoned her out and finished my homework (with the help of my text book). During her lecture, she will do a problem on the screen using an visa marker. on paper. And she constantly makes errors. Her notes aren't readable. She knows what shes doing but nobody in the class does

She is a terrible teacher. Plain and simple.

"If you have a push lawnmower and a yard to cut, im going to give you dull scissors, and were going to use those scissors just to learn the fundamentals, were never going to use the push mower" she constantly said this in my class. Can't explain anything, if you ask her a question, she always directs it back to the book and reads the book verbatim.

Drop the class before you kill your GPA. She expects you to know how things are done, in her specific ways. She gives you this packet of notes that's isn't even readable due to her horrible hand writing. Her notes during class are writin on paper with a marker. She constantly marks her mistakes out instead of getting a new peice of paper.

DO NOT TAKE THIS TEACHER IT WILL KILL YOUR GPA. I failed this class because she tried to reteach all the basic principles in her own method. She threw out PEMDAS and tried to rework it into some pyramid thing. I took the same class online and made an A. SAVE YOURSELF THE FRUSTRATION. Math doesn't have flavors, yes she refers to things as flavors.

I wish I would've researched her before signing up for her class because everything I read about her on here basically sums it up. Sweet but confusing lady, assigns way too much homework. If you make the mistake to sign up for her class don't pay attention to anything she attempts to "teach" by flying over the work. Her notes aren't readable.

Do not take her!! She is a nice lady, but horrible teacher! Half of the time she gets stuff wrong, and we(the students) were always correcting here. She is really verbal and doesn't do problems from out of the book unless you ask! She gives you a test layout, but that's no help at all. If you aren't good in math, do not take her!!

Asks students to work out problems on board (like in elementary school). Does very little actual explaining of new problems. Mostly encourages students to focus on text book. Seems uninterested in what she's doing. Avoid her class. Take Ms. April Smitherman for Math 90 & 98, Take Mr. C. Kline for Math 100 &112. They are wonderful! Look 'em up here.

She explains problems in an extremely fast way, leaving you without understanding a thing and having to find other ways to learn the material. She gives HARD tests, even if u study. I ended up taking the class again online.

She is the sweetest person ever, but you will have a tough time in her class. Had to take her twice just to get a B. I am an AB student, and this class was hard. Explains problems only the way she understands. Would not recommend unless you want to take her twice. AVOID!

She is all over the place!!!!!!! Class notes are not clear to read, she works on the projector with a sharpie. If you are not a wiz at math and need real help and understanding then this is NOT the teacher for you.

I have had her two semesters in a row. She is so good at math that she can't comprehend that there are people who aren't good at math. She doesn't know how to TEACH math.

Probably the worst professor I've ever had! Her lectures are terrible and she messes up way too often during them and her notes are difficult to read. Her test are very difficult and she grades really tough she doesn't even give you partial credit. I would avoid her unless you're naturally good at math. I had two tutors and still had to drop her.

This lady is truly a horrible teacher. I am an all A student and just finished precal with a an A. Took 098 once with her and got IP took it again and ended up with her and still only got a B. Not because im stupid or this is the hardest class ever but because this is the first math course I took in college and I had NO UNDERSTANDING OR GUIDANCE.

She's taught math for so long that she's not slowing down for those that need it. She will upload all the notes from class, but they are all over the place that you can't tell where it starts. Also she will start new material but only give few examples then you're on your own.

If you can avoid taking her, do it. She is a nice lady but her teaching is just nearly impossible to understand. She teaches math how she knows it and you basically have to learn it her way or no way. Please don't take her.

Don't take her class, especially for a low level math. Not accommodating for students at all. Only grades are tests and the final. Tests are 100 points ranging from 12-20 problems and that's it. Sucks at explaining methods, constitantly makes mistakes in her lectures.

Ladies and gentlemen if you have never experienced failure at an atomic level, this is your chance. I dont even think she would pass her own class. Nuff said. I wish i was exaggerating but im not. #What? #ImCrying

DOESN'T GEAR LECTURE TOWARDS STUDENTS THAT AREN'T A MATH WIZZ. WHEN DOING AN EXAMPLE SHE SKIPS PARTS, & OFTEN MAKES MISTAKES. (LIKE EVERY CLASS) ASKS IF WE HAVE ANY QUESTIONS, THEN GET IRRITATED WHEN WE DO. CANT READ HER HANDWRITING, SHE SKIPS AROUND IN THE BOOK INSTEAD OF GOING IN ORDER. ONLY GRADES GIVEN FOR A FEW TEST WHICH ARE IMPOSSIBLE!!!

Horrible math teacher!! She teaches as if we are already supposed to know this material. this was the only class I have ever failed in my life!!! All my other classes I have A's!! She gives tons of home work but you don't get any credit for it, only 4 test with 20 questions or less each. so if you are a bad test taker you will fail

She is such a nice lady and is never rude or intimidating. With that said, do not take this lady. I've always been decent at math and I had to withdraw from her class. I've made mostly A's with a few B's here and there so I'm not a slacker by any means. I took another proffesor the next semester and made a 97 in that class. For real stay away.

I agree that she's a nice lady, but her way of explaining the material is very confusing that you'd find yourself relying on the book and Youtube videos more than her. She messes up way too much in class that you're just going to get more confused. Exams are too difficult and her test layouts that she provides to "help" do not help at all.

She makes a lot of mistakes, to where your even more confused. Hard to understand the lecture and the test are very hard.

Simply the worst professor Ive ever had... I took Pre-Cal in high school but had to take it for a credit. Ive always been great at math and never had trouble but this lady absolutely cannot teach. No point in going to her classes... just teach it yourself through YouTube. Everyone in my class failed the tests and those are your only grades. #BAD

She is not a teacher you want to have. Almost everyone in my class failed. I have heard this has happened in the past too. Dont take her class.
