She's the worst professor I ever had. It's because she's very unorganized and unclear, very rude tests are hard. CBNS was suppose to be easy, but our class was hard. She made us by $30 clickers b/c they were returnable and for 5% extra credit. Then changed her mind to around 2%. NOT RETURNABLE!

Professor Curras-Collazo is one of the best professors that I have had. Not only did this class instill great fundamentals of Neuroscience, but also taught me how to approach studying in other disciplines. I still apply the methods we used to study sensory pathways to further my knowledge in kinesiology for PT. Great class, highly recommend!

Professor Curras-Collazo is probably the best neuroscience professor I have had in UCR. Yes, the material can be daunting. However, she organizes the material in such way that all that is needed to excel is to watch every video and complete the homework assignments. Plus, her practice exams are conceptually identical to the midterms and final.

Dr. Curras-Collazo is a wonderful instructor. She knows the material and is able to present it in a way that we students can understand. The material is hard- there's no getting around it, but if you put in the work and reach out, you'll be fine. The people here saying she's lazy probably didn't put in enough work on their end

I think your success in this class depends on your learning style. The online format and the way the professor just reads off the slides were not conducive to my learning at all. There are also constant technical issues. I suggest taking other classes that teach similar material to prep for this because other profs may explain the topics better.
