Great professor.Anatomy is a tough class but the Dr. Molnar does a great job of explaining everything that she expects you to know. Yes, every semester about half the class ends up dropping out and are quick to blame the professor but usually those students are the ones that stay in lab for only an hour and never bother to show up for lecture later
Shes a great professor. You have to attend lab and lecture to do well. Sometimes her speech is a little unclear since she speaks italian, but you get used to it. Shes very enthusiastic about teaching. She knows her stuff. Very helpful. If youre a slacker dont take her! I got an A but worked very hard for it.
she is hard teacher. fair but hard. just remember that you are the student and she is the teacher. b/c it will help you go a long way. other then that it is as fun as antomy is.
The material is hard, this I understand but its defintely not the hardest class I have to attend. And it always helps to have an outgoing professor who seems very interested in their work. She is absolutely not helpful at all and If you ask for more detail she doesn't seem to understand why youd ask. She is always frazzled!
She was a good teacher in a sense. She was really short with people, and always seemed to be in a bad mood. Never question her because she will go off on you. Anatomy is hard, be prepared.
She's happy to help out her students if they need it & does her very best to help them. Just remember that there is only one of her & very many students so don't feel bad if she is unable to get to you & help you in lab. Take advantage of her office hours (emailing too) as she is willing to help you out if u need it & it makes her happy to help u
Dr. Molnar was very helpful in class and was always available to help with any questions during her office hours. This is a hard subject and it takes many hours of studying the cadaver and your books as much as possible. You can't just rely on the teacher, you have to mainly rely on yourself. This is College, that's how it goes.Great teacher!
Dr. Molnar was extremely helpful. She was always available during her office hours to help with any questions. Anatomy is a hard subject and it takes a lot of studying the cadaver and textbooks, etc... You have to put in the study time to get any good results for this class. She was a great teacher! But you have to be too. Study, study, study.
Dr. Molnar was very helpful and loves what she does. She is always available to help out her students. I highly recommend her for Anatomy.
I recommend taking this class by itself. Because it's very hard, hard, hard. This teacher is very nice but you have to study like hell.
Good teacher but has a temper. Anatomy is a hard subject in general so a lot of studying is to be expected. Study her lecture notes, don't buy the book, she tests on her notes. Just buy the lab book. Overall I loved the class, the teacher not so much.
As an incoming freshmen to college classes were different and hard to get adjusted but I have never had a professor that taught or treated her students like the way she did. She was HORRIBLE! Yes, she taught but half the time you couldn't even understand her because of her heavy accent! If you want to learn highly recommend to take someone else!
Look...you want to do well in Anatomy, STUDY! Professor Molnar is a great person and goes above and beyond to help her students. She has accent, but easy to understand. She helps you know what to study and is straight forward in her testing. Anyone taking Anatomy needs to know the material. So take a teacher who will really teach and push you!
Great teacher, has a heavy accent, but who cares. Go to all open labs, and reviews, it helps A LOT, sign up for a tutor!! Don't go into the class half-ass, The grade you get depends on how much time and effort you put in to lab and lecture. BOOM!
She is a great teacher. The Anatomy is hard, so if you want a good great you have to study, go to the open labs. This teacher even took time from her office hour to tutor us. She is the best.
I am taking this late start class. It is hard, but the professor is organized and clear. You have to read the book ahead and study everyday.
Anatomy is hard. You have to study. Dr. Molnar is helpful and makes it fun.
Anatomy is a tough class with a lot of memorization. Dr. Molnar is very clear in her explanations and is a sweet helpful teacher. But you need to attend class regularly and study often. If you're struggling in lab I would recommend going to the open labs she offers
I loved Dr. Molnar. She is prepared, organized, kind and respectful. I don't know what happened to the student who left the previous comment, but I have a great experience in her class and I learned a lot. I strongly recommend her.
Molnar is intelligent.. However, her accent makes the material hard to understand, her study guides are NOT accurate, she expects way too much from her students, she rambles on irrelevant material that won't be tested, and she belittles you when you don't catch on as fast. I had to find out the hard way, TAKE SOMEONE ELSE IF YOU WANT A GOOD GRADE!!
Dr. Molnar is a great teacher and she really care about teaching anatomy and preparing students to succeed in their life (not only have a good grade in her class). She is helpful and grading is very fair.
Dr. Molnar loves what she is doing.
Tough class but interesting. If you study you'll pass.
If you work hard, you will pass this class. Great lab teacher... mediocre lecture teacher. TOUGH grader on essay questions. Sit in the front, and talk to her. If she likes you, she's more willing to help you
I found this class interesting. Lot to study but if you put the time into it it pays off. I would take Dr. Molnar again.
I love this class. Anatomy is difficult but Dr. Molnar is very organized and clear in her lectures and expectation for the class. You have to study and in exchange you will learn a lot. Go to class, take good notes go to open labs and the class will not be so difficult.
I like the class and the teacher. Lots of material. You have to take good notes and study everyday. Lectures are clear. It is easy to take notes because she writes almost everything on the board. Go to open labs and office hours. Take Molnar!
Human anatomy is hard. If you study you do well. Dr. Molnar is helpful and makes the class interesting.
Professor is a great teacher and knows the material well. You will be successful if you read ahead and go over the material daily. She posts her powerpoints, practice questions and chapter summaries online; utilize them, they are very helpful. She is a very tough grader and I thought the lecture exams were difficult. Open labs are offered; attend!!
Tough class, especially since your grade is solely based off of test scores. (No homework, projects, papers or assignments). You must study, study, study to succeed in this class. Professor Molnar is willing to help her students and offers help with open labs and available office hours. I worked very hard for my "B" in her class!
Great teacher
I took Molnar this past Spring. I wish I have her again for my other classes! She is nice, helpful and organized. Everything is posted online including practice questions. Very helpful. Go to open labs.
I didn't really pay attention to the lectures because I put in A LOT of time reading and studying what's in the textbook. The questions on the tests are answered in the textbook!
I loved this class and the lab too (bio 16L). You have to study. Lecture are very clear.
Molnar is a wonderful professor. I was originally very intimidated by the class but she makes the material interesting and really helps students understand. Very fair grader, but you do have to put in a decent amount of effort! You can't be lazy in her class!
I took Professor Molnar the Fall of 2014. She drops one lecture and one exam. She was very helpful when you needed help! Never be afraid to ask questions. Study hard and you will do fine in the class.
I like this class even if half of the students dropped. You have to have interest in the subject and you have to study to enjoy it. After all it is college! She is a great professor!
I loved this class! I learned a lot and studied a lot! Prof Molnar is passionate and very organized. Her lectures are very clear. There is homework.
This class helped me to understand lots of biology!
In the beginning of the semester, she went into depth with the material that was to be expected on the exam. However, as the semester went on, her lectures became more vague and felt almost rushed. Each subject was lightly touched and I relied on myself to study. No point in attending lectures as they are ran through quickly.
I really liked this class! Anatomy is hard but Prof Molnar is organized and helpful. Listen to her suggestions and go to class. She gives the essay before the test and if you follow her lectures she covers them very well in class. Be smart! And put effort
This class is tough. The ideas aren't complex, but the amount of material is overwhelming which makes the class hard. This class requires mostly memorization. She doesn't encourage question asking much, in fact, if you ask something she thinks you should already know, she acts like your question is stupid so we all just stopped asking. Overall good
This class is awesome and prof Molnar is clear organized and helpful Lots of material but very interesting. I will miss it!
At the beginning of the semester she was helpful, however that changed fast. She gets very frustrated if you ask questions, lectures are hard to follow. You basically teach yourself and study a lot! She is very nice as a person but you can tell she hates teaching. You can drop a lecture and lab test. Be prepared to study a lot
I loved this class! It was hard but there is plenty of help! Dr. Molnar is very nice, organized she knows what she is doing and she loves teaching!
Great teacher! She actually cares about teaching you. You have to study and attend lectures and labs. Go to office hour and open labs for extrahelp
I don't understand why she got some bad rating! I loved the class. She is is nice, organized, offers extra credit and help for lab and lecture exams. You have to go and get the help, and you have to study. If you are a slacker don't take her, if you want to learn, take this class!
This was the most difficult class I took till date but professor Molnar was so helpful. Her lectures are posted online with practice questions and summaries. She explains thinks clearly and she is very motivating. It is very important for you to put your hard work in because there will be labs and lecture exams back to back. Will miss this class.
Hardest class I've ever taken! Wouldn't of been possible without Molnar. She is a real gem! Goes over and beyond to help her students. Be prepared to work. Go to the extra labs and office hours, she loves it and it will help you so much. Read the book! Do the practice questions! Do not procrastinate, stay up with the work. You must go to class...
Dr Molnar's class was definitely challenging to say the least, but I can honestly say she cares about her students and will help you in anyway possible as long as you take her class seriously and don't skip her class even if you come to lecture, but skip Lab she notices those things. I appreciate everything she taught me and I recommend taking her.
This class is not that difficult! If you study, attend lecture and labs and pay attention in class you will do fine! Lots of help!
This is a difficult class but this professor is amazing. She is brilliant and caring. She makes sure you have PLENTY of opportunities to learn the material and the study guides are a HUGE help. I wish she was teaching physio this fall because i would be the 1st to sign up.
So discouraging to have a teacher who hates teaching! Discouraged any questions from students and made you feel stupid for not already knowing the material. Terrible experience
Great Professor, organized and available. She expects students to study and be ready for class. I already learned a lot about how to study and how to learn difficult material. I feel lucky to have her as a teacher.
Great professor! She likes to write things on the board and she likes to explain the material rather than just showing slides and video.
Prof Molnar is really passionate about teaching. She is helpful but you have to go and get the help! Go to open labs, office hours and use the material posted on canvas, then the class is not so difficult. Also take good notes. Be a student!
Anatomy is not easy but Prof Molnar is a great professor ready to help. I wish I had stronger classmates! Too much complaining and whining!
She is hands down the rudest teacher I have had throughout my college experience so far. In what world do we live in where three of her students ask her a simple question and her reply is "I said it three times, I'm not going to repeat myself again.". I feel like I have to walk on egg shells around her, that's not how a teacher should be.
Prof Molnar is definitely experienced and likes students that are willing to put hard work and to get all the help that she offers. The class is not that hard if you study and use all the resources that are available including her help!
Great Professor, organized and very helpful (if you actually listen and get the help) Take her if you want to learn!!!
Given that this class was a lab, you are required to attend. Professor Molnar is great if you do well in the class. If you are obviously not putting in the effort, she will treat you as such. I would suggest taking her in the morning, because by the afternoon, she is sometimes a little crabby, but she is a great teacher.
Great professor and very interesting class. Take good notes, read the book, do the homework and you will be fine.
She's awesome, I learned so much from her. I took her years ago, got an A. Im a RN and she gets credit for helping me learn about the human body. Im now having my son take her, thats how much I love her. If you want to learn and work hard take her, if you're a slacker find another class. Im in grad school and I still remember her,End of story!
Very helpful when she writes on the board. If she's using the powerpoint she goes a little fast, so pay attention. The homework (that is NOT mandatory) helped me the most because that's basically what she's going to go over on the lecture exam and lab exam. Use the book to study, go to open labs to practice for lab exams, and use what she gives you
Great Professor and great class! Lots of material, but also lots of help. She actually meets with students every week at the tutoring center. Also summaries and study guide questions are posted on canvas. Very interesting class!
I learned a lot. She has high expectations for her students and you can learn a lot from her. You have to go to class and study! One student did not understand this and have been disruptive and disrespectful. It was annoying but fortunately that students did not attend most of the labs. Overall was a great experience
Professor Molnar is an all around tough teacher. Which in my case wasn't a horrible thing because it made me actually really have to study. Once I caught on to her teaching techniques and personality, I started doing great in her class. If you put in the time to go to her tutoring sessions and really put in the effort, you will do great.
You want to learn? Put the time to do that! Prof Molnar is very organized, approachable and it she is a great mentor. Get ready to study!
Great professor and very organized. Her class is not that hard if you study and use all the resources that are available and the tutoring she offer. She likes to write on board but goes so fast on PowerPoint, so pay attention. Her exams are fair, do the study guide questions and essay question. if you can, take her class in the morning.
Great Professor. She is organized and loves teaching science. Go to class, do the worksheets and attend labs. Read the book and you will be fine. Unfortunately my class is often disrupted by students that don't want to put any effort and that are very disrespectful. Otherwise it is a fun class and i learned a lot!
I liked this class. Prof very organized and lectures are interesting. Good material for studying, not difficult
Super sweet lady. Everything is very straight forward. Her lectures are interesting and in depth. Attendance is mandatory for lab because there is a quiz at the beginning of every lab. Overall a fairly easy course if you put in the work. Definitely recommend!
I wish I had her the entire semester! She is organized and teaches you science rather than wasting your time. Lots of help
Lots of material to learn. Both lecture and lab are heavy. Lots of ways to boost your grade. She is very knowledgeable and loves the material. I am learning a lot. Love the class
Prof Molnar loves what she is teaching and she loves teaching it. Pay attention in labs and lectures and work hard and you will do well
Turn in labs reports and don't miss exams. The class is well organized and easy to follow, helps a lot to understand the bio 16 lecture class
Prof Molnar prepares you for a career in science if you are interested. It teaches you facts but most of all the thinking behind Scientific problems. I loved her class
I would not recommend taking Professor Molnar for an online class. Speeds through the lectures and gives out a lot of homework and lab homework. Gives a quiz for every chapter and four lecture exams along with a comprehensive final exam. I honestly wished I could have taken her class in person because of the reviewsoverall pretty heavy class.
Professor made no adjustments for online. Exams were multiple choice w/ essay, you are UNABLE to go back on ANY previous questions, & half the questions don't even come from her long monotonous lectures. She grades painfully slow, her quizzes/exams full of mistakes, and she does NOT care about her student's wellbeing, comprehension, and success.
Professor Molnar is easily one of the worst professors I have ever taken. She is unprofessional. It's like walking on eggshells around her. She needs to be in a good mood if you have concerns about the class. She also explicitly tells me that she ignores a bunch of emails from students, which is rude of her. Her lectures do not make sense too.
Prof Molnar is a real gem. She had her class on line with synchronous lectures and labs. So much easier than having to watch videos. She did several interesting discussion and she is available to help. Very understanding.
I took this class on line and I am very thankful for all the help I got from Prof Molnar. She was very understanding of the difficult situation we all are in and really helped not only me but the entire class. The weekly quizzes and homework really helped me to study and not cram. Not difficult but you have to study!
Fr this class every week we covered a chapter and 1 or 2 labs. Lectures are through Zoom, summaries (with figures), PowerPoint presentations, quizzes and homework are available on Canvas ( weekly modules). Overall it was a well organized class. We also talked about some specific topic. I liked the class and I recommend it if you are not a slacker!
Great class, even if it is online. Very well organized and interesting. I wish labs were in person! I strongly recommend Prof Molnar class
Great class. Online synchronous but all lectures are recorded as well. Lots of flexibility. Wish labs were in person.
I loved this class! It was on line but synchronous. Prof Molnar wan on Zoom twice a week for 3 hours each. Yes, this much but it went fast. She was able to make us talk and interact and it was fun. I will miss her and my classmates!
I loved this class. Learned a lot, especially regarding how to scientifically study a topic leaving behind biased and twisted thinking. I can see how few students did not like and did not accept this approach, but for me it was the most important thing I have learned. Strongly recommend this class if you want to learn science and how to think!
Solid choice of a professor, she was nice and her lectures were good. I loved how although everything was online, she tried her best to get us to interact with each other. That being said, sometimes trying to talk to her can be like walking on eggshells, kind of passive aggressive, rarely responds to emails. Solid professor though.
Great Professor! Organized, clear grading, caring and well prepared. She actually spends time to teach! Text her and she answer almost immediately. Variety of labs, not only simulations. Great way to learn the theory of the labs since we can't do them. Strongly recommend her!
Lectures would have been better if there was more involvement (Zoom polls, etc). Nice prof, but it just wasn't for me. Be ready to self-teach yourself if you don't like her lecturing style. Labs can be a bit confusing too, since you aren't actually doing them in person, but rather answering questions on them.
Prof Molnar is one of the best I had a Solano. She knows the material and has a passion for it. Class is well organized and she spends lot of time explaining lecture and lab material. The focus is on thinking not on technology. Labs are interesting
I liked this class. Lots of material but everything is introduced during synchronous meetings. You learn a lot if you attend classes. Weekly homework is helpful to spread the material. Online labs are focused din understanding the principles of the techniques and their application. Overall a great class!
Professor Molnar was the best at teaching BIO 002. She did have long lectures but the information was very useful. Overall a great teacher and highly recommend.
Solid professor with enthusiasm to teach above what is in the textbook. Too bad that students are tightly linked to what will be in the test and how many points they can earn. I rather focus to what I can learn. I am thankful to Prof Molnar for trying to teach some critical thinking.
I liked this class. Material was very well organized in weekly modules. You always new what to do. The assignments sometimes were very lengthy but a good way to cover the material. I strongly recommend this professor.
Good class, well organized, easy to follow. You have to study but it interesting.
Great Professor and great class, organized and easy to follow.
I really liked this class. Sometimes I attended the online lectures but when I could not, recordings where always available. Material is well organized and the weekly reading and homework assignments keep you going. Strongly recommend this teacher.
Make sure you have a clear understanding of Bio before taking this class. While it wasn't as difficult, there were some times when issues would have been prevented if she knew more about online and technology. She definitely does care for her students and if you need help, she's there for you.
Professor Molnar is a Professor I would recommend to anyone! Shes sweet and caring. Her lectures are fun and she tries her best to help students out. As long as you read the chapters and complete the homeworks, the tests shouldnt be difficult. Take her!!
I took the online async course and it was a bit detached, but that is usually to be expected with online async. Everything we did, except for a few discussion assignments, was through Pearson's HW platform. Assignments are organized consistently with one textbook chapter per week. Covers the subject well and I learned a lot.
All assignments and exams on McGraw Hill Connect. Very kind and accessible teacher.
I regret taking this course online. We did the same homework every week so it was repetitive and kind of boring. Her work was somewhat easy but it was kind of annoying, I wish I got to know her more, maybe I would have liked it more. Final was only 60 minutes with 100 questions, does not make sense as well homework was about 100 questions a week :/
I took the 8 week course so it was 4 McGraw hill assignments a week and 3 tests and a final that were multiple choice. 2 short discussion posts as well.
