All you need to do is buy the online book, and you can work on things ahead of time. This was a lectured based class turned into an online class. Skip class? You won't miss much! (everything is on blackboard) Class was super easy, and she gives a lot of extra credit!!! (attendance is extra credit)

I had a long 11am-1pm friday class and it wasn't too bad just very lecture heavy but if your very interested in psychology it was very interesting. Your book and homework is one of those online things and your tests are all open book and online. I thought it was a good introduction class.

Prof Ippolito was an easy A. If you're taking other classes that you need to focus on, then take this one to save you. It was a breeze online. She offers tons of extra credit. The whole class is just (EASY-OPEN NOTE) quizzes on the chapter from the textbook, and only like 4 assignments all semester. I have no complaints and highly recommend

If you have to take psychology for a GER credit, definitely take her online course. It's unbelievably easy; suspiciously so. All material is available from day 1 so you can work ahead or at your own pace. Everything is open book, open notes. Extra credit is also available. If you fail this class or get a bad grade, you probably weren't trying.

Her class is pretty easy, all the exams and quizzes are take home the final is optional (replaces your worst exam grade) there are 2 or 3 minor projects and like 2 major projects. She is considerate and understanding even caring but she is an awful listener, beware if you have any questions about your assignments. She talks forever in any situation

She is a great professor. Class is mostly taught out of the book but she makes it interesting. Not a tough grader as long as you show you care about your work. Responds to emails quickly. Tests and quizzes are right out of the book and only one project delivered by powerpoint. Great class and professor.

Really sweet, makes the class fun and so easy to get through. Late penalties apply after a 2 day grace period. All exams and quizzes are open book. Has a "badge" system to earn extra credit just for having a B or higher in the class. Caring and understanding. Seriously you'll only fail if u don't put in the minimal effort.

Quickly responds to email. Read chapters, don't bother with lectures. Really sweet older lady. The perfect GE req.- Interesting info in an easy class.

I have taken 2 classes with professor Ippolito and Im looking to taking so much more! I have nothing but great things to say about her. Her online classes are straightforward, shes a quick grader, offers ton of extra credit and open note exams. She makes her online classes be interactive by including powerpoint assignments, essays and cross words

Overall the class isn't too bad, tests are open book, but she assigns too many projects and does give student enough time to do them and is waaaay too picky with her grading when she isn't even clear about what she wanted in the first place which leaves it up to guessing from the student doing the work. Will dock off points for every little thing.

Super super easy online class. There are quizes for each chapter, but everything is open book and the assignments are all so so easy. It is self paced, so I finished literally the entire semester within the first month or so. You turn in the work, you get an A really no matter what. Highly recommend her online class for PSYA150.

Maria's classes are always easy but she does assign a lot of homework. Each class has a large media assignment (we had to build a website in this case). Her feedback is okay but I don't always trust it (for instance, she graded something based on APA 6 instead of APA 7 & I lost points on an assignment because of it). Take this class w/ her for an A

This professor was VERY UNCLEAR about A LOT of the assignments listed in the syllabus. Most of the instructions were ambiguous and when you do the assignment, she takes points off and doesn't give a good explanation as to why. The quizzes are awful because the questions aren't clear. Lousy course set up, slacking prof. Would never take again!

This professor is very unclear on what she is looking for in her assignments. She wants literally everything cited. Anytime you use your own words in papers she will accuse students of plagiarizing even if the idea and words are completely your own. Anytime I tried reaching out with questions or concerns, I was dismissed rudely and was not helped.

Took this last year. Exams were open book/note. Chapters are interesting &easy to follow, though lots of reading. There's a quiz after every chapter. The requirements are clear. Each week there's a reminder for the assignments due, other than that not much communication with the professor is needed. A few other assignments, but they're interesting.

The grading criteria is provided, but the way that the material is graded doesn't match the criteria. Assignments are graded relatively quickly. You definitely NEED to read the book and take notes on the slides that are provided or you will NOT succeed. All quiz material and test material is highly based on readings.

I listened to and read the text over and over while exercising. Regardless, the test questions were not precise enough to have a specific right answer. I'm not kidding, it was a really odd problem. This professor needs a teacher's assistant to read through her tests or a catch-a-problem get-extra-credit policy. Otherwise, overqualified and kind.

Dr. Ippolito is really good. Her class is not hard if you keep up with the assignments every week. Everything is available as soon as classes start so you can work ahead of time if you'd like. She can take some time to answer emails but always responds. You have opportunities for extra credit. She is very strict about APA rules.

Great experience. Very generous late work + extra credit policy. Work posted at the start of semester. Class is well organized, weekly assignments have clear due dates and expectations, + easy to find. Quizzes are open note/book, obviously based on the text, and some can be retaken for a better grade. Reasonable work. Do the reading, you'll pass.

This class was easy but this professors Blackboard is a mess. Super hard to find where you actually need to be. She integrates stuff into her classes that is unnecessary and just makes it more confusing for the student to learn. Frustrating to say the least. This being said, her class generally leaned towards the easier side of things

The most difficult assignments are writing your five sources in APA format for- and completing the- website on a childhood and adolescence disorder.
