She is a great teacher. She is very helpful and cares about her students. She knows her stuff well being previously a doctor and gives many real life examples and experiences which makes the class interesting and easier to understand.

Her English is pretty bad, and her accent is tough, but she is a very good, understanding teacher. Really encourages her students that what they're learning is important, because she herself went through it and she's a doctor. Microbiology couldn't get much better...

She is a very nice teacher but never the less her tests arent the easy. You have to really hard to get an A or a B, but shes better than the other teachers.

this professor is AWESOME!!! don't listen to those people, her test are easy, just make sure to study everything she mentions on powerpoint. She's one of the best A&P professors, you learn a lot in this class, if you think you are failing your really not, you can put your grade up easily with the 2 reports she gives you to research on. ;-)

Good Teacher. She knows her stuff and has it all put together on her powerpoints and lectures. Also she gives real examples and stories. Very interesting. If you study the material and take the notes that she gives you will do fine.

Take professor Cendon if you want to learn a lot and and have a good time in class. She is young, pretty, and super fun. She used to be a doctor in South America, so whe had hands on experience. Her class is easygoing, her quizzes and pacticums are very fair. Take her class if you want to learn and to have a pleasant semestre.

She does have an accent but it's understandable. The lab is extremely easy with her, you know exactly what is going to be on the quizes so just review what you learn in class and you're all set. Really nice teacher too.

Great professor. Used to be a doctor in Argentina. Brings real world examples to class. Sends out a power point presentation making tests easy. Strong accent, but isn't too hard to understand.

(LAB) One of the best professor I have ever had! I have had 6 other science professors and she is BY FAR the best! She knows how to teach and how to relay info to students. You have to study but she tells you exactly what to study and shows you the EXACT SAME modles. No extra credit, BUT if you study you will do great. I wish she taught MCB 2010!

I took the class online. Not and easy class, have to study hard and read a lot. My only complain is that the quizzes don?t prepare you for the tests.

She is very helpful and makes class interesting. If you review her power points you should be ok, but you have to read the book to understand better. It is a hard class but she helps you to get good grades.

for her Anatomy2 LAB. EXTREMELY EXTREMELY EXTREMELY easy!!!. she tells you exactly what to study, her quizzes are only 10 questions and she picks the easiest ones to ask. I studied 30 mins before class and got 100% on the quizzes and practicums. Dont freak out when she says you have to do papers they are easy as HELL and they dont count much.

I had her for BSC2085L and BSC2086 lecture. She is GREAT! You don't need to be the best student but she knows if you want to learn or not! If u don't have a good gread she helps... EC, projects, HW, at - everything helps at the end!!! I will have her for the 3rd time: MCB! I strongly recommend her!!! It is not "easy" but not "hard"! Let's go!=o)

As with any science call you will need to study to pass Cendon provides PP presentations to summarize the chapters She is very helpful with applying the material to help make sense of it You will need to dedicate a lot of study time in order to pass the exams but what she reviews in class & her PP presentations is what's on them HIGHLY recommended!

Taking BSC2086L and so far so good. You have to study! There is a lot of in class review, which helps, and she sends PP. She's very direct, but she tries to be funny. Quiz every class and 3 Practicums.

Excellent Professor! Although I took a General Biology class, it being my first Bio class ever besides high school, I really had to study to receive my A, but she knows her Science. She is funny and easy going. I learned so much from her and would recommend her to anyone! She brought my class together and helped us reach our highest potential.

As far as the Kendall campus, I think she's one of the easiest Anatomy teachers there. But you still have to study, particularly the powerpoints. She uses Course Compass, which is EXTREMELY helpful. She's a GREAT teacher though. She's pretty funny, and she basically cuts to the chase, and explains everything that's gonna be on the tests.

I am currently taking this class online,first I thought it was hard because of the tests n quizzes, but I just noticed that all her quiz n test questions come directly from the CD thats with the book, so as long as u do the practice tests that is on the cd for the chpts that she says will be on the test, u will do good, just remember the answers!!!

Great Lab Prof. I learned a lot. She's quick and to the point. She reviews material immediately after explaining it. Sends Power Point to study for weekly quiz & 2 exams. MUST study & attend class or you'll be lost. Does not GIVE grades...you earn them.

She is a true professional! She cares about her students...and wants you to learn, understand the material and ultimately pass the class. You know she cares because by the third or fourth week of class she knows everyone's name. Class attendance is mandatory. She also encourages class participation.

Shes good, really good at teaching. The class is hard, BUT HELLO ITS MICROBIOLOGY. Take her if your serious about having a good teacher and aiming for that A.

Don't know why there are bad reviews, she is the most amazing prof! Had her for both lecture & lab. Passed with A's in both. Anatomy is a hard subject but she makes everything fun! You HAVE TO STUDY! Has an accent, but does not interfere with teaching. She really tries to help her students as much as she can. Can't wait to take micro with her! =)

Avoid unless you like being picked on. i did her service learning project of stds did all the extra credit but her test...forget it, are extremly hard. Her favorite phrases are "come one" & "lets go" with her accent. if u do the service learning she is supposed to drop one test. and make sure you TYPE ur name on the paper if not

Interesting class and professor - she is very knowledgeable and good at helping students should they need help. She's got an accent but don't let it fool you - she studied medicine in Spain and has a LOT of understanding of the subjects she teaches. You've got to study a lot but you can pull through if you're consistent.

I took this professor 5 years ago and she is AWESOME!!!! I failed her first practicum.She sat me down,talked to me about putting in more effort,and said she didn't want me to fail her class.She actually CARES about you.After that I passed her practicums with flying colors.:)

She is the best teacher ive had in MDC! You can ask her anything n shes willing to answer you. The overall class is not easy but if u put in the time then you can pass it. I had her for both bsc2085 n bsc2086 n passed both.

Im taking her on virtual college. One quiz and assignment per week...easy. One proctored midterm and final...not so easy. The class itself is pretty straight forward tho...lots of memorizing.If u can do that you'll b fine. Prof. drops the lowest quiz grade. She's nice...hvnt met her in person tho..sorry

Probably one of the best teachers in MDC. She puts students on the spot to see if they are paying attention or did her homework. Doesnt do it to make anyone feel stupid, just likes class participation. Rarely any homework, just make sure you come to her class on time, attendance is mandatory and her tests are fair, IF YOU STUDY. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

I Agree with the last comment and rating. SHe is probably one of the best teachers in MDC. She is relavent,teaches extremely well, very funny and fun to be with in class. Makes you stay on your toes by randomly asking students to answer questions. Tests really are fair, only if you study what she gives you. Very clear and easy to follow.RECOMMENDED

Blended course is more difficult. You must keep up with the material. I struggled because I did not. Once I did, you realize that most of test questions are from the online quizzes and mastering. She is very intelligent and very nice in office hours.

HONEST REVIEW FROM GOOD STUDENT.As I've been taking classes at MDC, I'll say most of u guys are lazy and if u cant cheat or get 100 extra points the teacher is bad. Great professor, heavy accent but she cares about you passing, she drops the lowest grade in the Mastering(online). If you're absent you will be kinda lost but she makes it super fun and is interested in you learning the material. Just apply yourself and you will go VERY FAR :)

I took Prof Cendon's online course and I thought the assignments were very straightforward and the tests and exams were straight from the textbook so if you do the reading you will get an A.

I just currently took her. Passed the class with an A. Studying the powerpoint or waiting last minute to read the chps wont do it. You must read and take notes as well as takes notes in her class. The study guide is somewhat helpful. But if you study and relate things to the topics you will do good. I dont regret taking her at all.

Professor Cendon is very passionate about her work; it shows when she is interacting with the students. You have to do homework online that is equivalent to a test grade. So if you do them all it's like getting 100% on a test; which helps out in the end. She provides a study guide for tests but must also read the book to have a full comprehension.

She is a great teacher I am taking her right now in a 6 week course....it has been crazy nonstop but she makes the class easy. Just do your quizzes, assignments and study guide that you should get an A :)

best teacher ever ! makes the class super interesting, she gives a lot of helpful assignments. her test are based on the study guide, & she drops your lowst test grade if you do minimun 40 hrs of service learning ( has to be in a hospital ) my lab mastering & the powerpoints are extremely helpful as well.

I took her for Anatomy I, and i enrolled for Anatomy II with her. She is nice, has a little accent but she makes fun with it. She teaches very well, she knows all her stuff so she interacts with you and gets you involved with the learning. She has extra credit, and there is 4 tests. Book/Access Code is needed. Homework is mandatory. Take her!

Prof. Cendon is amazing!! I took her for microbiology which is naturally not an easy class but she makes sure you learn it and remember it. Test are not hard if you study from your note, power points, and do the online hw. Your grade is based in 4 test and all the online hw. Definitely take her!! you wont regret it! =]

The professor had an attitude & she rushed through the class, possibly bc it was a blended course. She was not lenient & does not help you with additional extra credit. I was 2 points away from an A. She gives quizzes which you should study for the exams. Her study guides are not related to the material on tests. I would recommend another professor

Professor cendon is one of the best teachers i have ever had. I have learned so much from her in just 6 weeks of class. Mdc should open a course to teach other professors how to be more like dr. cendon in a class environment. i definitely recommend her. She gives enough HW and online quizzes to learn the material for the tests.

Class consisted of Proctored Mid & Final plus 2 online tests that have 2 attempts each. Quizzes are short 10-15 Q.w/ 2 attempts. Different questions on 2nd attempt. Online HW not too much. No extra credit. Midterm & Final hard. Don't rely on prior quizzes as study material for these.

Cendon is probably the best professor I had at dade. Took her for anatomy 1 also. You must study! But you will learn and retain info from her classes, and it's all stuff you will see again if you're doing anything medical. She's fantastic! And I will forever listen to classical music while I study now thanks to her ;)

This teacher was amazing! She's a really good teacher! She's very funny and knows her stuff very well making the class super fun! The class i took was blended you have a few quizzes and homework on line. The tests are easy as long as you study the Power Points she uploads on Angel. I loved her class and will be taking her Anatomy II class for Fall.

The class that i took with this professor was web-enhanced which i really liked because she did online homework and online quizzes along with survey's for extra credit. She made human anatomy 2 very easy to undertaand and to follow.

Excellent professor. She makes you work so hard, but at the end, you learn a lot. I don't remember one single weekend when I didn't have to study. There's always something to do: quizzes, A&P Mastering, review chapter questions, or tests. Encourage class participation and answer students' questions. Strongly recommend her!

This teacher is absolutely amazing. I learned every class I went to. My recommendation is make sure you do the online assignments and do well on them - they're online so 100%'s are doable and will boost your grade. Read the chapters, fill out the study guide, review the study guide and online quizes+mastering and you'll get an A.

I took this semester Fall 2014. I could say she is the best grader & she is simply amazing. She teaches you in depth & is willing to help you. Mastering helps A LOT. I can't stress that enough. There's 4 test, no midtermsfinal. Extra credit worth 30% of your grade. Basically your lowest grade gets dropped & you get an A for that one. THE BOMB!!!!!

Her lectures were amazing. Took her for bsc20852086 and would take her again if I could. Has the ability to make you understand really tough material in simpler terms. However, paying attention to the lectures is not enough you have to study and read alot to pass, its a lot of content. 4 tests. DO THE HW, helps or hursts your grade a lot.

Easiest way to slip is with the online modules and quizzes. Be warned! Deadlines are closer than they seem. As for her teaching skills, she is incredible at making connections that are engaging and will cement the information for you

Amazing teaching methods! She makes the class very involved by asking review questions, which sometimes make you think outside the box and expand your knowledge. 4 tests and she does give a study guide, which she goes over if you have any questions. Cendon was an amazing professor. Had her for both anatomy 1 & 2. Her lectures are very interesting & make you want to learn. She has a great personality which helps keep the class engaged on the subject. 4 exams, no quizzes, online homework helps a lot and is about 40% of final grade. Also has optional extra credit work. BEST ANATOMY PROFESSOR AT DADE! I have taken her for anatomy 1 and 2. The class can be a bit challenging but she really breaks everything down for you and helps you understand the material. Do her study guides and study her mastering assignments ( she puts alot of the hw questions on her exams) and you'll be fine!

I took Professor Cendon for BSC2085. If you really want to learn, she's an amazing professor that tries to incorporate all aspects of accounting into each lecture. Tests are very hard, but she gives partial credit on almost anything. Go to her office hours and record her lectures early on an you will do well.

BEST PROFESSOR AT DADE. She explains everything very clear. She gives EXTRA CREDIT and STUDY GUIDES before EXAMS and discuss it the class if you have any questions. her class was easy because i went to class everyday and the exams are basically everything that she says in class. I barely used the book because she cover almost everything in class.

The class is not difficult at ALL. The online part is a big part of your of your grade but she only gives 4 test which if you do the online work without cheating (which its all on quizlit) it'll help prep you for the exam. This professor is amazing!! she makes class fun and easy to understand. I took her for a 6 weeks course in the summer and I got an A. She provides very detailed study guides to complete, and if you turn it in on test day you get 5 extra credit points on the test. Also, the final exam was a presentation and you pick your own topic.

I highly recommend this class. She explains the information clearly and only teaches you only what is necessary. Her tests are not difficult if you study. She provides a thorough study guide and a lot of her questions come from her notes. I wouldn't say this class is easy, but it is definitely manageable if you study.

Dr. Cendon is so great, she's clear in her lectures and she lets you know what will be on the exams. There will be a lot of hw online, but it's worth it because it prepares you for the exams. Anatomy isn't an easy subject, you have to work for it, but with her it becomes understandable & doable. Come to class or you won't pass.

Absolutely amazing. Best professor I've had by far. She gives the most amazing notes, clearly explains all the material, and truly cares for your success in her class. Very sweet and makes the lectures funny and interesting. She prepares you very well for the test. She gave us all candy the last day of class.

Wonderful professor. The class consisted of Mastering hw, online quizzes for every chapter, and 4 exams. She drops the two lowest quizzes, two lowest hw, and one lowest exam score. Study guides are available for every chapter and are nearly identical to the actual exams.

Professor Cendon was great. I took her class online and, it's Anatomy and Physiology so do expect to read a lot, but she is there with you every step of the way. Professor Cendon is the best A&amp;P professor at Dade. Quizzes are online and super easy and she takes most of the questions from her quiz and puts it in the exam. I highly recommend taking her for A&amp;P 1 and 2. Most definitely taking her for anatomy 2.

I took this professor online. She helped me whenever I needed help in a quiz or anything. You don't need the book because blackboard has the power points. Lab exercises easy. Midterm is 50 questions and 2 hours. It is not that bad just study and she provides study guide which helped.

I had a good experience with Prof. Cendon. I took the class online. We had quizzes after every chapter, lab modules to complete and a proctored midterm &amp; final. There was one paper due called clinical discussion, student chooses their topic. Overall the class was not overwhelming and the grading criteria was clear.
