This professor is great, it is true that she has a thick accent but you can understand everything that she says. Also if you have any questions she will be willing to answer them for you, even after class. This course had a lot of homework but this has nothing to do with the professor. I had a really good experience with this professor.

Not only will you learn pre-calc and trig but also spanish. Prof. Cuberos is great especially if you are latin, her teaching style is way better than that of american professors. Be sure to ask question in class, otherwise she'll think you understand. She gives great reviews and you also have participation points. Be sure to attend.

I was scared about taking this class due to the low rating but Professor Cuberos is a great teacher, she will go over every step if you ask, total of 4 test and a final. Mymath lab was a lot but it did help practice for the tests. I would take her again if she taught Calculus.

Good professor always prepared for class. In class you go over a powerpoint presentation and she goes into good detail about the material. Quizzes are at home on aleks and she gives you around 3 to 5 tries. No classwork only alex. Gives study guide for both midterm and final. very good and always encourages people to ask questions.

She was very lenient with assignments on ALEKS (everything besides the final was on ALEKS) & gave us plenty of time to finish them. Gave us study guides for the mid-term & the final and gave us 4 chances to pass the quizzes (which we can take at home) She is caring and will help you out if you missed any assignments. Even boosted my grade from 68

She takes her time to thoroughly review the material. Fair amount of work and quizzes are fairly easy. She is flexible, understanding and easy to talk to. Definitely recommend her for this class

She is the most sweetest teacher ever! We do everything on Aleks and have a whole week to work on homework. Quiz are online and Finals are in person. A part of our grade is to spend 20 hours in math lab. I would say you need to have time avaible for this class. Majority of my classmates had jobs and struggled bc they never had time.

If you're bad at math, like me, every math teacher is going to be the worst for you. The difference between professor Cuberos and any other math teacher is that she makes sure you have a grasp on the lesson, and she'll make sure everyone is on the same page before moving on. Also beware, she may call on you to answer questions.

As long as you do the assignments on mymathlabs, professor Cuberos is a great math teacher and you will get nothing less than an A if you do all of the assignments on mymathlabs (which are pretty easy). Had her for MAC1105 through remote learning. She uses BB collaborate & records each lecture. Homework, quizzes, & tests were all done on MyMathLab. She was super flexible when it came to homework & gave extensions when needed. We had two attempts for each test, which was really appreciated. Overall, good professor.

Professor Cuberos goal is that all of her students succeed in Math. She gives different ways to resolve algebraic problems and is approachable if you have questions on any class subjects. If you do all your homework and study her lectures, you'll get a good grade. I'll take her again for future Math class!

She did give extra credit but it was probably just once or twice. You can also receive extra credit by going to the math lab throughout the course of the semester. If you do your homework and prepare before the test you will be fine. I would definitely take her again.

Prof. Cuberos was great! I took her for a summer semester so the class was about a month long. She responds to emails pretty fast and is understanding when things pop up. I took Ms. Cuberos for Mac1105C Mac1114 and pre calc. I have taken her both online and in person and I can safely say she is the best math professor in Broward College. Math is a tough subject but Ms. Cuberos cares most about her students understanding the topics and concepts taught in the class and will always help you as long as you ask.

I took Prof.Cuberos for trig. She is extremely caring, knowledgeable, and always willing to help. Her reviews for exams were great.The homework isn't overwhelming unless you wait until the last minute. I am not math savvy and found that she made it digestible and was able to grasp the concepts. Professor Cuberos truly cares about how you do in class and she will go above and beyond to make sure you understand the topics. Tests are not hard at all, you just have to study for the tests. Professor Cuberos is very caring and wants you to succeed, but her tests are only 15 questions each with ten multiple choice questions worth five points each, and five open response questions worth ten points each. So if you understand MOST of the unit but miss 2 of the harder questions, that leaves you at an 80% which is pretty frustrating.

Mrs. Cuberos is an overall amazing teacher! She truly cares for her students and if she sees your effort she does everything she can do to help you pass. She is extremely diligent with her grading and fast at putting grades in. Stays after class for any students who might have questions and is always available during her office hours.

She provides access to practice exams & reference sheets and will do a quick review the class before the exam. Quizzes online and 3-5 questions long but open note. YOU GUYS NEED TO TAKE HER. You will pass the class with flying colors. There are 5 tests, 5 quizzes (1 that she drops btw) and 1 final. Just pay attention in class, take some notes and do the homework to prepare for the tests and you will be fine. Also she does great reviews before every test that are similar to the real deal. Overall, her class was pretty easy. Lectures that were posted were clear and straightforward. Grades are based heavily on homework, quizzes, and tests. There were unlimited attempts on quizzes and homework, and more than one attempt of tests (including the final). As long as you complete all the assignments on time, this course should be a breeze.

I really enjoyed taking Pre-Calculous with Professor Cuberos. I was really nervous to take this class during the shorter summer term but the way she explained everything helped a ton! Once you show up to class, and do the homework you will do fine! She also has a great sense of humor which helps, if taking a 4 hour long math class twice a week.
