She is a great proffesor. Her class is easy to pass :)
nice teacher. easy to pass. gives study guide before exam

I hate how she stares at the back wall when she lectures!

Very good professor. Very helpful and nice. Easy grader. I would highly recommend.

easy teacher, you'll learn a lot!
i think she's the only pols 155 prof that makes you write a term paper. easy grader. study guides are helpful.
Loves Teaching. Really into her subject. But, Boring as hell and not a good teacher. Easy Grader. Go ahead and take her, but bring a pillow.
So easy not even funny. Very boring lectures but the class is so easy it doesnt matter. Have to go to class takes attendance everyday and its 10% of grade, offers extra credit
Very easy test. Hardly ever opened my book and I still passed with an A. Good teacher. Highly recommemded.
Very informative.
She is a very easy teacher. She does take attendance and is big into group work. Lectures tend to be repetitive. There is a short term paper. She does give extra credit. She also hands out study guides.
Easy and nice professor. Offers extra credit and tests are pretty easy. Does really boring group work but it's not hard at all.
Her accent is ridiculous! She stresses odd syllabols and vowels. Her lectures lack content and she assigns reading which I didnt do, and I still got a B with only half the Extra Credit.

She's a great person. As long as you know the material, you will get a good grade. Easy grader.
She knows her stuff regardless of her accent. She gives lectures, extra credit, study guides, takes attendance, easy grading, and group activity discussions in class. If you want a laid back class, with a little work, take her.
Very intellingent woman, teaches well, material not that ridiculous and overall great professor,
her accent is strange. dont buy the books they arnt needed. her lectures lact content, her assignments are worse. and she grades you down for yr polotical standing. take her but bring a pillow.

She is great. She may be boring but she cares about teaching. She is very flexible with grading and its great that she assigns group work. Her grading is easy if you always show up to class. She likes to show movies, some of them are very engaging. I recommend any of her classes. GO TECHNOCRATS!
great teacher! U have to take her... easy A!! You have to show up to sign in, cares about students, real flexible
I have taken her two times already. She is very easy. There is a lot of writing but there is no midterms or finals. The class is an easy A. She is the best!
Heres the thing, you got to be to class mostly everyday, you have to do exercises everyday, and the lectures are very boring. But there is a little catch, you barely study at all for anything. She gives two tests, two extra credit assignments, and yeah.
Easy A. She is really nice. A little dry. She is very flexiable with papers and gives a lot of extra credit opportunities.
Her classes are boring, take it with a couple of friends and you'll have a blast. Easy grader, there are no tests just papers. She is fair and also nice.
Easy A, lots of extra credit, gives study guides, takes role everyday and does class exercises everyday. A good teacher and a very nice professor but sitting through class was a drag. She tried so hard to keep my attention and I tried so hard to stay awake but no success for either of us.
she doesnt take roll, and talks about the same thing everyday. only 1 paper (2pgs)& midterm & final. i didnt buy any of the books, but managed a C. Her thick accent is a bit distracting, but its not like you really have to listen to her anyway. just show up on days she passes out the study guide.
this lady was really easy. she always lectured looking at the ceiling, never the students. she passes around a roll sheet, and @ the end of each class your group writes a paragraph on what she talked about. most of the time you'll get one smart person in your group to do the work for you. gives PLENTY of extra credit...TAKE THIS TEACHER!!!
Easy teacher, passes out study guide and 99% of that is on the test. 1- 2pg report, 1 midterm and 1 final, thats it. Thick accent, but pretty easy to understand. Lectures entire class then at the end you have to get into small groups and write a paragraph about something talked about in thats days lecture. Again, easy class.
she didn't understand the subject matter (politics in film) and when asked to clarify anything, she mummbled some incoherent answer. easy a, but not worth listening to her for!
If you are interested in Latin American Politics you can take the same class 5 or so times with Garcia. Every class she teaches is same...
What is that word for someone who favors a certain nationality over all others.....Did I mention the not so hidden agenda?
Just a great overall professor! Her teaching style combines lectures with group work, and it's very effective. You will have fun and learn instead of getting bored. She never wastes time spewing left-wing propoganda, and never tries to brainwash to further a liberal agenda. She is the kind of professor others in the department should aspire to be.

She's understanding, nice, and easy to talk to if you know Spanish (as I do). However, it is hard for some students to understand her, and sometimes me (even for a fluent Spanish speaker). She's an easy grader... but does not help her students enough nor are her classes relevant.
She is the nicest woman in the world. You will never need to use your book except for in the class projects -- I hardly even took notes and got an A-. NEVER read the book out of class except to work on my Take Home final exam.
shes really not as easy as shes cracked up to be. take lussier or saiz if you really want an easy A.
i dont know what prof. the user below me took cus professor acevado is an absolute sweetheart! makes taking this ge a smooth ride. person below me was probayl to lazy to do anything at all and now is probaly bitter over their grade.
Professor super easy. Gives 80 points of extra credit. Does not take roll and will let you out early sometimes. Book recom, but dont waste your money buying it. YOU WANT AN A TAKE HER!!!
Easy class and sweet prof, lectures are kinda boring. didnt really need the books, bring a laptop to surf the web with while shes lecturing cuase it gets to be a drag. Her spanish accent isnt too hard to understand, but it way funny and spelling iraq with a k was pretty funny being shes a pols prof, i would recommend her class
AWFUL TEACHER! DO NOT TAKE! She has the WORST accent ever, more than half the time i couldn't understand her. Yeah she does give a LOT of e.c but her class is SO boring, i slept everyday, and attendance is mandatory, you do assignments at the end of class so she makes sure a student stayed all class. easy a, but the class sucked.i learned nothing.
Easy A, but boring class!! She offers so much extra credit that you can get a C on the exams and still get an A in the class.
Easy A, but boring class!! She offers so much extra credit that you can get a C on the exams and still get an A in the class.
Fabulous professor. She is a very nice and the sweetest prof i have ever taken at CSUN. I took her for three classes and believe me if you do the readings you will definitely learn a lot. She is easy but at the end of the semester one has to write a 10-15 pg paper.Great prof strongly recommend her.THE BEST AND MUST TAKE HER CLASS. Always available.
Just pay attention and do your work and there is no reason why you won't get an A. She gives out extra credit for a reason. DO IT. You can literally skip the final if you do the extra credit before hand. The final is optional depending on your score so try to get at much out of the way as possible. She is a bit unclear but she is really nice.
Rarely attended class, just had my buddy sign me in because she passes around an initial sheet. She gives LOADS of extra credit and uses last 15 minutes of class for opinionated group questions. I turned in my book report super late and I still got an A.
easy class, gives lots of extra credit.
Great teacher. Very Sweet! Easy class look forward to another class with her.
AMAZING teacher! She is so sweet & nice, and makes the subject interesting. Very easy teacher as long as you put in the effort. Take her- you won't be disappointed! Best Poli Sci professor at CSUN!
She's really nice but seems shy when lecturing. It was a very boring class and she lectured about the same issues over and over again. She is a very easy professor. Take her if you want an easy A. Gives out lots of extra credit to secure your "A" even if you fail the final. You can't possibly fail her class. If you do, then you are beyond stupid
Boring class. She really tries to make it interesting but she lectures on the same topic for at least 3 class meetings in a row. If you skip class, you won't miss much. There are group activities that she usually has students do after she lectures and then you are free to go. Always lets out early. If you really like the subject, avoid taking her.
Very boring class, no need to attend except for attendence and to know about extra credit opportunity. Easy to pass, just do all the extra credits and you will get the points you need. EASYYY and sweet lady
Very easy class...rarely need to pay attention...simply attend to mark down attendance and do short group activities at end of class. Only 2 tests, very easy (as professor provides a study guide and goes over all questions!). Teacher is very sweet...easy A.
Not much more to say then what has been said. Lectures may be boring at times but overall a good overview of the subject matter. Sweet lady who gives a bunch of extra credit opportunities so do not overlook them. Easy A. Attendance is mandatory and group work is assigned at the end of every class that is turned in.
A very straightforward professor. Professor Garcia-Acevedo expects you to learn the concept by going to her lectures. From those same lectures you apply it your midterm paper & presentation and final. Take her!
There are a lot of extra credits so take advantage. She makes most of her tests generalized so dont rely on the study guide too much. If you listen to the lectures, you'll be fine. By the way, she has a really thick accent so watch out!
She is an extremely easy teacher. Gives a bunch of extra credit that will boost your grade. She gives a group assignment at the end of class that is extremely easy. I learned a little bit, but took her for an easy grade. EASY A!
Other than the fact that I don't understand much in class because of her heavy accent, she is a nice and fair lady. Lots of opportunities to fix your grade with extra credit stuff. Recommended.
best of the best
Overall, a descent professor. Certainly not a hard class, mainly because copious amounts of extra credit are allowed. That being said you would have to be either completely stupid or terribly lazy to get anything less then an A in her class. My only real complaint is her uneven grading. But, like a mentioned it doesn't really matter.
When regestering for this class I made the mistake of equating easy for good. The class is easy enough, there's extra credit available and the prof is not a hard grader, but what's the point of it all. Maybe just me but I got nothing out of the class and nealy every second there felt like a waste of time.
Easy class but super pointless. Very few assignments and she's a super easy grader. I recommend the class!
She is really nice. Her class is easy and gives a lot of extra credit! She is really easy!
Class is a joke. If you want something out of this then take a different one. You could potentially show up to only the midterm and final & still get a B in the class. Offers so much extra credit it's crazy. If you attend every class, do the extra credit journals, and Cs on both the midterm and final you can get an A in the class. Super pointless.
She is very helpful to students and she sincerely wants her students to learn and benefit from her class. Professor Garcia-Acevedo is knowledgeable and passionate about Political Science. Her lectures can seem long at 8AM but she is everything a professor should be- focused on the student
So easy. Do the country report, study for terms for midterms and final, and the extra credit and you'll get an A. This class is not hard.
Do not take her beyond any introductory political science courses. You have a midterm based on a one page article discussing things you haven't learned and then your 15page paper is due the following week. Then you have 7 weeks of presentations. Why? Why do we need 7 weeks of presentations? Good luck on your paper, you will receive no guidance, btw
This teacher is the dullest professor I have ever taken. She is nice but is hard to understand due to her heavy accent. Study guides do help a lot but in this class the book is your best friend. This is an easy A however, a lot during the semester this class will just feel like a chicano studies class rather than U.S politics.
She has a very strong accent. The class is more like a Chicano studies than a political science class. Do not take her for pols 155. She teaches as if political science is everyone's major. I don't consider this class as an intro to political science. She is so confusing. She doesn't teach well. Again, do not take her!
You can just skip all the classes and basically pass the class with an A... That's how easy she is. She gives you a lot of extra credit opportunity also so really there's no excuse for not getting an A. Tests are basically definitions of terms..
Thick accent but its doable. Kind of unclear and unorganized, no one has any idea what she is talking about. Do all the extra credits she offers so you can get an A.
EASY A. Lectures are very boring. Professor Garcia knows her stuff but with her thick accent its hard to understand what she's saying at times. Midterm and final are more like vocabulary tests. Don't buy the book, you won't need it. The last couple minutes of class she assigns an assignment, that's how she takes attendance.
This is a very easy class. If you want an easy A take this class and do all or most of her extra credit! I took this class during her night session and I would say that everyone is slumped and she tends to let us out early. Show up to every class and do the written assignment for attendance (easy). If hardly anyone shows up, there may be EC!
OMG, haha. It was a waste of time seriously. Didn't understand a word she said, she's a nice lady though. Just felt like a waste of time attending her class. She grades harsh believe it or not, its just that the Extra Credits boosts up ur grade :) Take her for an easy A and DO ALL THE EXTRA CREDITS, I REPEAT, DO THEM ALL.
Absolute waste of time, felt like I was in high school. Assigns random group projects in class, makes you sign in 5-10 minutes before class ends, talks endlessly and taps her hands while looking anywhere but at the student when she asks for feedback/thoughts on the material. Don't need to pay much attention, read what you need for her papers.
Very nice lady. She is very intelligent in mexican politics. Offers lots of extra credit. One huge 12 page essay. Gives a couple essays. If you ask she will help you with anything even change the due date of the assignment. Brings in a lot of guest speakers to class.
Honestly if you really want to learn Political Science DO NOT TAKE HER. Her accent is so heavy and her lectures are soooo boring. BUT if you want an easy A, TAKE THIS CLASS. she offers so much extra credit. Do those. She also gives an exercise at the end of every class so she knows you were there. It doesn't even have to make sense just do it.
It's my first college year and I just took AP government but if you took SOME type of Gov, this is the easiest mf class you'll take. She gave more extra credit than hw, if she didn't take attendance I would not show up it was that easy. All the tests were online. ALL& she swears we'll use the book, but nah. Google is your bffl. I'm texting rn
Fairly easy class. Everything is straight forward, 2 quizzes, midterm & final. Offers a decent amount of extra credit that are worth a lot of points!! She has a heavy accent and can be monotone so if that's a problem for you then maybe take a different class. Otherwise, her class is an easy A :)
Easiest A ever. Just went to her class twice, all the exams "2 quizzes, 2 midterm, final" and most of the extra credits "2 pages essay" are online. Don't take this class with her if you want to learn. All the exams are multiple choice, 20 Q for the quizzes 40 for the midterm 60 for the final. There is a group Q for each class.
She is the easiest professor ever. She gives more extra credit than actual assignments. There are only 2 quizzes, a midterm, and the final (all of which are online). Easy A.
She gave more extra credit than actual assignments. A very easy ge course. You should show up for class everyday, since she takes attendance by the group work you do. Opened the textbook maybe five times throughout the whole semester. Her quizzes, midterm, and final were online.
She's way easy. You have three online tests you can do in groups, and some, you can re-do. Anyone who complains about her accent is being petty. It's not that bad of an accent, you're being ridiculous, and even if that was the case, she sends the lectures to you through email. All the quiz material is in the links, and she gives out study guides.
Her class is straight forward. She gives her exams and quizes online. She is a really nice and smart lady. If you need that A take her class, pretty easy class to pass. But she does give an exitslip at the end of each class thats the way she take attendance.
She is so monotone and the lectures feel like they take forever, but it is such an easy A. She counts attendance by assigning an exercise at the very end of class so you kind of have to go. I would never pay attention. We had a couple of 2 page essays that were no biggie, a midterm, quiz, and a final.
This was the easiest political science (155) class that I ever took. All of her quizs, assignments, midterms, and final exam is all online (moodle), so that's more convenient. She also gives lot of extra credit to boost up your grade. However, be expected to do some work activity that she assign because that would be your attendance of being here.
Classes are mostly her just lecturing and can be a bit boring. She does have an accent, but it's not bad; I didn't have any problems understanding her. There weren't a whole lot of assignments and she's a pretty easy grader. She will sometimes give opportunities for extra credit, so there's no reason not to get a good grade. Overall, she's fine.
Super easy A. show up because attendance matters 100% need 1 book the other just ask classmates to borrow. Def. recommend her!
All the exams are online. She gives exercises at the end of class for credit kind of like an incentive to show up. All of her lecture slides are online, and she gives a study guide for exams. She's very generous with extra credit. There's more extra credit than actual assignments.
Prof Garcia was easy. Don't bother buying the textbook or taking any notes. 2 quizzes and 1 midterm and 1 final. All are online. Attendance is mandatory. Short class work collected each day - can be done in groups. Make friends in case you can't make it to class to sign you in. Do all of the extra credit assigned.
Honestly, if you want to get an easy A, then I recommend you take her. She gives a lot of extra credit, no reason why you should fail her class. You really don't need to pay attention in class, all her quizzes and tests are online and you can even do them in groups. Great professor
She is a very nice lady, but wouldn't recommend her if you actually want to learn something. All assignments/exams are done online *cough* GOOGLE *cough*. Don't buy her textbook (I didn't, it would've been a waste of money). She assigns exit assignments as part of your attendance grade, so you pretty much should show up. Take if you want an easy A.
Take her, she is a kind professor and cares for her students.
I enjoyed her lectures on policymaking and evaluation. She's a nice & very knowledgable professor. Her syllabus is organized and clear about her expectations for the class. Assignments are fair & the final is a take-home exam which is formatted as a paper. There is only one presentation in class, which I did regarding the current "Housing Crisis".
professor Acevedo is the best; however being Frank if you are looking to actually learn the material, don't take her, i recommend someone else, but if your looking for those A's then take her. her assignments are easy, and although the work load is heavy, its not hard at all. if this was not my last semester, i would take her again!
Great professor, sometimes her lectures would get boring other times they would be good. She is very detailed with her assignments and will answer all your questions If you have any. An online textbook was used but I would just use my friends online book. Her accent can be a little heavy at times but other than that she's a great professor!!!!!
Lectures are boring & you won't really learn much in this class especially if you don't already know a lot about the basics of politics. At the end of every class, she does an in-class exercise as an incentive to show up for attendance. There are only 3 hw assignments, 1 quiz, 1 midterm, and the final. Reason why I got a B was because of attendance
She gives assignments that feel unplanned. Its an easy A if you show up to class and put in minimum effort. Other than that, its pretty boring and a lot of the information was somewhat general knowledge.
She has a pretty heavy accent and very boring lectures but she is such a sweet lady. This is the easiest class ever she gives 1 quiz 1 midterm and 1 final + final essay all online. She also gives an assignment at the end of every class which counts as your attendance
This is a 1 unit class, and as a result you only meet in person twice for the semester. There's three things the class is graded on: A 8-10 page paper (40%), an outline of the paper (10%), and a final (two short essays, 50%). There's also EC which can bump your grade by 10%. Didn't see the professor much but she was nice enough when I did.
Do not buy the textbook for this class it is referenced a few times but is a steep price for how little it was used. As long as you show up to class you should pass the class. All of the texts and quizzes are online and multiple choice. I would recommend printing out her slides before class, because she tends to not give you enough time to copy.
The class is very straight-forward. She gives you plenty of time to do the homework assignments. She puts up the lecture slides which is where most of the test is based on. Take good notes and go to class and it should be an easy A.
DON'T BUY THE BOOK. EASY A
Her class is really boring and I preferred not to go, but there is an assignment towards the end of class that counts as participation. Easy class just show up to class and you do not really need to buy the book.
I never show up to her class, but there is an in class assignment that is given towards the end of the class period. There are a few quizzes, exams, and two homework assignments which were super doable. If you want an easy A, I do recommend.
Good professor for an easy A. Just show up do the exercise, homework and do good on the exams (which are easy to pass with an A or B).
Honestly, I learned more from reading the textbook than I did in the class. If you care about political science, DO NOT take this class. She puts in minimal effort, cancels class, and covers the bare minimum on topics. I'm sure she's doing her best but I got very little out of the class. Lots of extra credit, tests are all online. Easy A.
Since this is an upper division class I thought the class would be super hard but the professor explained the material and was easy to understand. There is only three assignments that count towards your grade. It's not a lot of work, she is an easy grader and would definitely recommend her!
Attendance is mandatory only because she assigns a mini-assignment at the end of her lectures. Her lectures contain the answers to the tests and she gives everyone plenty of time to complete assignments and essays. She is a lenient grader, so this course is an easy A.
very quick summer class with research paper, and an assignment due each week. Lots of extra credit, and required to read a book "The House of spirits" 482 pages and turn in a book report. Lots of work but if you do the work you'll Ace it!
Summer Class. 2 Essay (1-2pages double spaced) exercises due each week with a final report (6-8 pages double sided) due at the end. Reading textbook is not really necessary as the lecture slides provided give enough for each assignment. Book report on The House of Spirits worth a good amount of grade. 2 extra credit opportunities provided.
She's a nice person but has incredibly boring lectures. The information is very spotty and oddly specific at points that it's practically useless. There are no tests and you can do the papers without the lectures. Easy to get a B+ or A-, but you have to do well on the term paper to get an A (you get a rewrite). Also, don't buy the books.
took her for 332 but that wasn't an option so I'm writing it here as "pols 155." I had her for a summer class and her explanations weren't clear. The slides that she used were only used to complete the assignment. I never actually gained anything from them. I got an A in the class. But make sure you know that I didn't necessarily enjoy the class.
Really enjoyed this professor, not much of a tough grader and assigns discussion posts due after every lecture meeting. Not much else other than read over the lectures to do the assignments.
DONT BUY THE TEXTBOOK EVEN IF SHE SAYS SO. I ENDED UP BUYING IT AND NEVER USING IT. Overall her class was fairly easy, recommend for anyone needing to fill the requirement.
She is really kind. film review, Research paper, Book Review and an final exam. Take good notes for the class it will help you study for the final. She also gives extra credit for events.
This professor is so suck, she don't even know how to teach this class. Heavy group Discussions (every time that you get in to the class has 2 discussions ). Test is so tricky. Trust me, don't take this class!!!!!
She is so nice. 3 short papers. There no exams in this class. Final Research paper. Term paper. Final exam, A presentation on your final paper.
Very nice woman. Doesn't give too many assignments, and isn't a tough grader. She's one of the top professors I recommend for political science at CSUN. Take her!
Grade based on Research design, Two short papers, term paper. she is very kind and she is an easy grader. No EXAMS in this class. Take her she is so kind.
One of the best professors Ive taken at CSUN. No matter what grade you get in the assignments, if you schedule office hours she will go through the assignment with you to make sure you fully understand and will give you the chance to fix or redo what you did wrong for a revised grade. Also, shes very kind and respectful and highly knowledgeable.
Lectures are mandatory but as long as you participate in the canvas discussions, you'll be marked present for them. Points consist of three 50-point tests and 50 points for lecture participation (3 points each session). Tests are easy if you pay attention to mock exams, slides, and student submitted questions. Good teacher 5/5
Bases grade off of four tests, attendance through answering prompts related to the course material, and extra credit. Very easy class, incredibly patient professor.
Daily discussion posts after Zoom. Very easy tests. TAKE HER!!!!! Easy A.
The entire grade is based on a few components: a short outline of your term paper, the term paper itself, and the final project (which you can choose to be another paper or a presentation). She doesn't take attendance in class but assigns an exercise in the form of a discussion for points. Most times, you don't have to show up to be able to do it.
Fine course overall, but you don't really learn much about Mexican politics. You learn more about societal views. Classes are just movies and powerpoints that don't really relate to the assignments.
I did not do a thing in this class. I learned nothing. I turned in major assignments and about 60% of the twice weekly exercises. She's a nice lady, but if you actually care about POLS, find someone else. If you don't, take this class for an easy A.
If you are wanting to get rid of a GE Requirement, this is an easy class to take. Tests are online and the classes are that you don't have to show up, but still need to do a discussion to get the participation credit. If you are actually wanting to learn something tho, i may recommend to find a different professor as the content can get boring.
She is a very well-educated professor. I really enjoyed her class as she was straightforward and it was easy to follow along with her lectures. I definitely recommend taking her class. 10/10 :)
Prof. Garcia-Acevedo is great! Very kind, well-spoken, and knowledgable. Took as a GE and was very content with the workload. Attendance isn't mandatory but daily discussion posts are based on the material discussed in lecture. Exams are online and can be done anytime within the day it's due. Class ends 15-20 min early to give time to work. 10/10
Super easy class, 11/10 recommend her if you need to fulfill the GE requirement. At the end of each class there's a discussion post and a weekly online activity (I had to pay for the site used). Exams were very straightforward and she even provided optional practice exams. She was kind, patient, and open to questions.
She's such a sweet prof. Her lectures are kind of long but she posts them on canvas if you need it. Doing the discussion posts and the packbacks are homework/attendance points. There are 3 exams total but are easy enough if you listen to her.
The entire semester we had one student who was openly racist and homeophobic. She hardly repremanded him and had little to no control over the class. Assignments were lacking in complexity and the overall circiculum felt like a waste of time. I hardly showed up and dont feel like i learned anything.
Professor Garcia-Acevedo is super approachable and makes this GE requirement class a breeze. The discussions and online activities are manageable, and Unstuckstudy was a big help for exam prep.
Her lectures were more of reading slides, but having access to them was really helpful. Her assignments are tolerable and points are easy to gain off assignments.
Lectures are basic, reading off the slides, I didn't pay attention much but still passed. There are assignments everyday to mark attendance but they dont count for points towards your grade. Assignment due every Sunday on "Packback", pretty easy. Tests are online and all answers can be found on PowerPoints that she has posted on canvas.
Simply the easy course I take for my GE. You don't really have to attend class because she mostly goes over slide and they would be on multiple choice online test and there are daily discussions per week. If you choose to go to class, the professor always dismisses the class 15 - 20 mins early than the normal time.
This course was very good and interesting. The course is based around weekly quizzes and discussion posts after every lecture which are easy to finish up, even after the lecture has ended. There are no textbooks and all of the information needed is on the lecture which she posts online. Amazing class and amazing professor.
This class is pretty easy and the professor is super sweet and knowledgeable. There are weekly in class participation assignments and a small writing assignment due every Sunday but neither are too difficult. I would recommend this class!
Take this professor, she is amazing! Class is pretty straightforward, class discussions, quizzes, and participation points. Her grading and lectures are very helpful for the assignments. Very accessible as well.
Take this professor, she is amazing! Class is pretty straightforward, class discussions, quizzes, and participation points. Lots of discussions you can take after class that are due the next class time. Assignments are done on packback, consuming but can be done if you really focus and read the notes.
Attendance via online discussion post, can be in group or solo. Couple exams, all via canvas, no lockdown browser, around 20-30 questions, super easy. Weekly assignments via Packback, super easy. Would defintly recommend.
VERY easy GE class. Attendance/participation taken through daily discussion posts. The exams were straightforward-- no confusing questions, and you can take them online, at home, all day. Her in-person lectures can be a bit lacking (especially w/ her mic. audio), but she's happy to answer questions and lays out everything that's due in the week.
Her class was very straightforward and easy. She gave an entire day to do the end of class assignments, her HW was easy, her exams were at home online and all MCQ, and she gave out tons of extra credit. She responded to emails very quickly and always made time to answer any and all questions during lectures. She is a very nice and caring professor.
