She's very helpful. It is actually difficult to do poorly in her class because she cares so much! It helps that she understands English very well and makes significant correlations between the two languages.

Gotta love her. She's really nice and helpful...only con is that she's often disorganized, bombards you with e-mails making sure you're upto date, complicating everything (kind of like an overbearing mother). Great teacher, but not easy.

Hello there this class was absolutely interesting and useful and Mrs Spina gives you every possible opportunity to not fail in her class, she is helpful and nice. i learned a lot. but the final since it's departmental was the hardest test this year.

Professoressa Spina is the BEST instructor on this or any other campus in the world - I'm sure of that! She is the kindest person, so cute and funny, and she CARES so much for her students! She tries to make class fun with games that help you apply what you're learning! The NICEST person I've met!!

Sweetest teacher at UCF! She cares about her students so much. Don't you dare take advantage of her! I had to wake up at 7:30am to go to her class but it was worth it. She speaks like six languages... anyways, she's the sweetest, let her know that.

There is no way to describe just how wonderful she is. She shows such interest and compassion for teaching, and is willing to do EVERYTHING possible for her students. She cares more about teaching her students than grading them, if that gives you an idea of the kind of person she is.

I came to the class expecting it to be a tedious one. I would have never thought this was the only class I look forward to attending. Amazing teacher, has a great personality and will help you out. The text book is pretty important but she supplements it with her powerpoints and daily group activities. I'm taking Italian 2 with her. She's awesome!

Intelligent, patient, super caring, on-point, understanding, motivating, positive-thinking, dedicated, helpful. The class itself is not easy and there are many assignments and a lot of regular work, but you just have to decide at the beginning that you're gonna commit & win. I had a year and a half gap before taking French 2, came out with a B. :)

Spina is extremely helpful and understanding. Communicate with her if you have any issues; she's very sweet and as long as you talk to her, she'll help you with whatever you need. Even though I took her class online, she would skype with me. Buy the book asap and just enjoy the class, since it's online you can use it during tests.

She is awesome! She makes class fun and memorable. I have learned so much in her class! Tests can be a little challenging, but not hard, and she prepares you for it sufficiently. Lots of practice, examples, etc. in class.

Professor Spina was VERY helpful throughout the semester! She would help you if you need it just ask. She doesn't mind going over the material again if you didn't understand it the first time. The class was never boring she always kept us interested in the topics, I am going to totally take her for German 2.

Great teacher. very understanding and will not penalize you if you're late turning something in. I mean there inst really anything wrong with taking her class. Easy tests and final was a group project filming each other doing a skit in german.

Super sweet! She's great at explaining and really goes out of her way to make sure students grasp the language. She genuinely wants everyone to do well and makes learning the language a great experience. She's wonderful; I definitely recommend her! :)

She is very responsive to emails and helps out as long as you are trying your best. She helped me get over the 0.05% I needed to get a 4.0. Homework is tricky sometimes but ask her for help if you need it, she will get to you very quickly (sometimes on weekends, too). Only downside is VHL Central is awful, but I don't think that's in her control.

I love Signora Spina. She helped make learning about Italian Language and Culture entertaining and engaging, and her class was a lot of fun, although it was also hard work. Well worth it, however. :)

She really makes the italian language and culture come alive. She always tries her best to answer any questions. At the end of a chapter you have several different assignments to turn in at once and then a skit to perform as well as a test, but the assignments are basically discussion posts and she is an easy grader. Easy A if you have the book.

I loved her! She's very merciful when it comes to late work and making up tests. Her instructions for tests and projects are also really clear so as long as you study the terms she tells you to and do projects by the rubric, you'll do great in this class.

Professor Spina is really easy going. You can turn in late work without penalty. The tests are all given through supersite/VHLcentral. Let's you google one or two words. Can pass the class even if getting 50% on the tests. She has so many discussions that they balance out the test grades. 10/10 would recommend.

I will be honest, I only went to the first 2 classes, was super worried I was gonna fail, and got an A. There is no late penalty for anything and everything was so easy to make up. It was a mixed mode class, but I basically did everything online, including the final, which was supposed to be in class. However, she allowed us to submit it online!

Professor Spina is from Italy so she is very knowledgable on the culture and the language. She works with you so that you are able to do your best. She makes you want to learn more and come to class to hear her lessons. I would take every class she offers if I could. By far one of the best professors at UCF.

Very good professor. She is really nice and you don't even have to go to class to pass just do your homework and go to class whenever you absolutely have to. Lots of homework but expected because of a foreign language.

Professor Spina was an absolute gem! She is very sweet and passionate about Italy as she is from there. All assignments and tests are done online. She was good about taking late work. In class is mostly learning and speaking exercises. We had three oral presentations but they were quite easy. Very very easy A while actually learning Italian.

She is so sweet. She cares about her students a lot. In class, she would always talk to me personally so I felt like she really cared. Very lenient on assignments in my class, which I was grateful for. I would take her again in a heartbeat and she made learning the language meaningful. She also really made learning Italian culture easy.

I wish I would have taken her class in person but the online class is very simple. Participation matters and she posts extra items on Canvas to help you with your German Language experience. She seems to be a very kind and caring person. Do your best, learn the language, and do the simple homework assignments and you will pass.

Prof Spina is so so nice!! The class was as easy as a foreign language class could be. Her lectures were fun and engaging, although attendance isn't mandatory and you learn more from the HW anyways. HW is online thru the textbook, as are tests and the final. Google translate is your friend for this class. take her for an easy A and a fun class.

Prof Spina is such a kind teacher who really helps you out when you need it. Lectures aren't mandatory but I highly suggest you go to them since it will help in the long run with pronunciation and grammar. Test are a little hard but as long as you do the weekly assignments it should be good.
