Excellent professor who presents the material in a good manner (powerpoint presentations). Attendance is taken every class. Reading the text is a good idea, but you can probably pass without doing so. Exam questions are always given beforehand.

Excellent Professor who teaches history with ease. She is great when explaining the work and mostly uses power point not the chalk board. The class watched some movies that were great! I highly recommend her when taking history in any class!!!

Good teach!

Prof Lee is a really good teacher. She's easy to understand and she gives really clear notes to take. She makes jokes and keeps the class awake. Definatly take her for any history classes you can.

Easy, maybe too easy. If you go to class and pay attention, you will get an A. I think it's harder to NOT get an A than it is to get one in her class. Powerpoints can get boring and she tends to lose control of the class at times, but if you need an easy history class, take Lee. She's nice, funny, and easy.

Very, very kind and understanding, very helpful and funny! She was totally awesome and when I had an illness in my family and couldn't attend anymore, she still gave me a C instead of failing me (it was too late to drop without an academic grade). Gives fantastic, thorough notes and homework assignments are easy! Also showed some films... heheh!

She is very nice! Very easy! If you ask her she'll let you do extra credit assignments. Made the subject a little more interesting. She loves Flavor Flave what more do I need to say?

took her for US I & II..shes MAD easy! Make sure you go to class though or you will fall behind-all notes from powerpoint over head. Hw isn't mandatory-its extra credit! She always offers extra help, theres only 3 tests. ALWAYS watch movies!

Absolutely the BEST professor @ CCM. I don't like history, but because of her, it was amazing. Very funny, easy, all you do is take notes from the projector. VERY nice person..like I said BEST PROFESSOR @ CCM. I got an A in that class and definitely miss it. Take her..its well worth it!

Great teacher, had her for US Hist II. She was helpful just rely off the PowerPoint and use common sense. We went on a trip and got extra credit and all we did was go to the city. She'll pass you as long as you have common sense but she also teaches alot

Took Dr. Lee for Womens History and i love her! She has an awesome personality, likes disscussions and has a great sense of humor. She kept class very interesting. She is extremely clear with what you will be tested on and is willing to help if you dont understand. 2 book quizzes with a midterm & final. Book isnt necessary. TAKE HER!

She's very nice and an easy A. Classes are PowerPoint lectures and movies. You won’t make it through the syllabus-she cancels class a lot. Take notes from the book, earn extra credit. Midterm, final, and 3 quizzes-all multiple choice. The research project is easy–you don’t even write the paper, just make a bibliography. I highly recommend her.

Professor Lee was awesome, the whole time we watched interesting movies and learned a lot. All of the questions on the test were given to us in advanced. Def take her for Honors Modern European Hist if you get a chance.

Simple. Don't get me wrong, she is a VERY sweet woman and the presentations she gives are clear (when she shows up to class). She cancels very often, which can become annoying. As long as you read the required materials, class is easy. The wording on her tests can be difficult to understand and sometimes I find that more than one answer is correct.

I really love Professor Lee. I took her for a summer course, then again this fall for US Hist 2. She is so nice, very knowledgeable, and always making silly jokes in class. Her class was not necessarily easy (you definitely have to take notes and do your reading), but if nothing else, she is very fair. Great prof, highly recommend.

Dr. Lee is the NICEST Women on earth! She is SO funny and makes class fun by incorporating modern day terminologylingo! She means well! And she wants the best for her students! Just a couple of tests, and quizzes, and an easy group project! Would've taken her for US History I if I had known!

I like her as a person- she's wonderful and hilarious but her teaching style is kind of blah. Get ready to watch movies- that's all you'll do. Her tests are all about the movies and about the notes you take (ALL NOTES). It's basically an easy A or B but it's not really worth the money- i can sit at home and watch those movies on HBO.

One of the nicest professors at County. She's funny, sweet, up to date with technology and the times, and tries to relate to her students. All you do is watch movies which sounds fun but after the 6th one, it's not. Copy the powerpoints, skim the reading and you'll do fine. Overall easy A.

I took His166 online Winterm 4 weeks. You need the book to do the reading. You have an exam every week, the last week you have two. It's not a hard class, you just have to do the reading and understand the material. Sometimes you can look up answers to test online and in the book. Wasn't a hard A. Would take it again !

Professor Lee is a great professor!! So very knowledgeable, and wants her students to be too. The books are a must, lots of reading!! Test are great ( some of her answer choices are hilarious) and ample opportunity for extra credit.

If you put in the work you can get an A. There are few things to be graded on so you have to do well on them. There was one test on a book we read, a midterm, a final and a group project. She gave a few opportunities for extra credit. I did not do the extra credit but I attended class, studied hard, and participated and I got an A.

I took HIS166 in winter 4 wk term. Professor Lee makes it very easy for you to pass. There was a total of 7 tests over the 4 weeks. One test was all about the syllabus. Each test you are given 1 hour to complete. Which it is online so you can use your notes and textbook. She gave me an A when with all my test scores I should have received a B.

Easy class

I took Dr. Lee for History of American Women. It was a summer online course. Dr. Lee would respond immediately to emails and would answer any and all questions. The course was straight forward. There were several opportunities for extra credit. I HIGHLY recommend taking her and I would definitely take her again in the future.

There were multiple opportunities for extra credit and several graded assignments which definitely helps. I HIGHLY recommend taking her class.

This was the best online class I have taken at CCM. Dr. Lee is very accommodating and fair. She caters the class toward working students. There was a lot of reading, especially in 3rd week, but not too much to accomplish. She was great with regular communication and encouragement. Tests were challenging but not overly hard. Great teacher!

Dr. Lee is AMAZING. She really wants her students to succeed. She goes above and beyond to make sure you do well in her class. Extra credit is offered for those that want to take advantage of it. She is available for her students and always answers her emails promptly. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND TAKING HER and I WOULD DEFINITELY TAKE HER AGAIN.

I took her online History of Minorities class for the summer (5 weeks) and the class was not at all difficult. It was easy and grading is fair. Quizzes are once a week and they're all easy with a reasonable time limit.

I really liked the material in this class. She is very understanding. Fair grading. Easy way to get a good grade just do all the lectures and homework.

I took her online History of American Women class during the summer! I thought the class was really interesting. It was an online class and I highly recommend taking her class. There are a lot of readings and weekly quizzes but she gives extra credit to help boost your grade! She is also very nice and has a good sense of humor!

This class was the biggest joke ever. The entire semester was based on 10 quizzes. The quizzes were not made by the professor. don't by the book. use your resources. she emailed us saying not to email her questions because she just had surgery and the syllabus explained everything. lol

Professor Lee understands the material she teaches extremely well. Very caring and understanding professor that realizes we all have a life outside of class. Wouldn't want any other professor for history at CCM.

This class is an easy A. The semester is based off of 10 quizzes that are take at home. You have to do the reading in order to succeed on these but they are not proctored. When I took it it was the bookstore messed up the textbook so the answers weren't actually there. We had to restructure the whole course in the middle of the semester.

Pretty easy A. Class was composed of 8 quizzes plus 3 extra credit assignments. I only had to study for two of the quizzes, but I did all the extra credit. If you watch a couple crash course videos then you could probably just get an A by doing that. Book isnt necessarily mandatory, but it helps a little bit.

Uploads all resources needed. Only assignments was an easy 10 question quiz once a week. HIGHLY recommend.

Dr. Lee is the best! I've taken four classes with her, both online and in-person, and she knows how to teach well. 9/10 times you will never need the textbook but it certainly helps on tests. She's super funny and keeps workloads as light. (Seriously, I took two of her 5-week classes in the summer and they took two hours per week with no studying.)

I implore you to take this professor before graduating from CCM as she is the best professor on the campus, with no competition. I've taken four classes with her now (see my previous review below this one) and she remains a fantastic professor. She's caring, so sweet, and made my college experience great. TAKE HER CLASSES, YOU WILL DO VERY WELL!!!

Took a 4 week course. Syllabus was a bit confusing but very easy class. Only graded on 6 -8 quizzes that were a max of 20 questions. She provides review docs of what was in the reading.

Prof. Lee is super caring and her class is easy. Took her class fall 2021 online and all you had to do is read 1 chapter of the textbook and take the open-book quiz by Sunday each week. There are no other grades besides the quizzes, but they are easy. Plenty of extra credit available and she even dropped my lowest score.

Very easy teacher and rounded my grade up! Was a fully online class and each test was open note. Dropped the two lowest test grades also which is a major help!

super easy class. If you do the readings and take notes the weekly quizzes are easy. some weeks are small readings or videos that make up for the 2 chapters a week readings. Lots of extra credit that are easy, most are just watching videos, or reading small articles. The actual material itself was super interesting. I thought Dr. Lee was great!

Dr Lee's BB was very clear and concise. Assignments consist of textbook chapter quizzes, a few videos+discussion posts, & reading ~250 pgs of a novel+test. 99% of tests were multiple choice. Its easy work, just very tedious so make sure to pace yourself. She gives extra credit & Im pretty sure she curves your final grade. Do the work & youll pass

Easygoing professor. Class was fairly easy, as long as you take a lot of notes on the power points you should be good. Quizzes/Exams are 85% of your grade, so I recommend studying. Also, pay attention during the boring movies in class and don't fall asleep like I did, info from them will be on the tests. Get the Douglass textbook on library genesis
