Maria Perser is an EXCELLENT professor. She's really good with examples and has an incentive to provide all she can to helkp her students in anyway. I strongly reccomend her. GO TO THE LECTURES! Tests are based on lectures, but read book too!

her class is BORING. you have to be present for all lectures as she has in-class assignments all the time. her lectures are pretty straight forward and much of her lectures are what's going to be on the test. tests are pretty easy. just follow her objectives and you'll get a good grade.

IF you show up to class you will pass all of the tests easily. There are a lot of in class assignments, but they are very easy just make sure you are there for them. Easy class if you are not really into psychology and you need the units.

every class was all power point presentations striaght from the book. it was an easy class, but it was all stuff you could learn easily on your own- nothing hard. it sucked that you had to always be in class because of in class assignments becuase it was really boring.

i really enjoyed being in class, yes she does give in class assignments but its only to help our grade, her test are pretty straightforward, if you do the learining objectives. she is good at giving examples and making us understand what she is talking aout.

Very organized, she gives you every opportunity to succeed in her class. All you have to do is take advantage of what she tells you, and show up for class. Very caring teacher!

dont even need to read the book. show up to class (she gives info that isnt in the book), pay attention... do the assigned Learning Objectives... you're set. got an A and didn't even read the book for concepts.

She is a great teacher and is really approachable. I learned a lot in her class. The class is lectured based and she gives you all the information. All of her exams are multiple choice and she gives extra credit. She is extremely nice and I recommend her to anyone anyday.

EASY EASY EASY!!! My A in this class was so high, my avg. was 105. Stay always for the lecture. She gives u points for being there as well as up to 30 pts each class for EASY in class groupwork. The tests are pretty easy too. Starightfoward, fun class. Highly Recommended!!!

She's very pleasant and starts off the mornings easy. She never took attendance for us. You mostly just need to show up to class and takes notes - sometimes she teaches stuff that is not in the book which is on the test. Totally recommend this teacher.

She's a very good teacher, easy going. Her tests are not that hard as long as you listen in class. There's almost no homework in that class. There are readings, but if you listen in class...you don't always have to read ^_^

Easy class and very interesting. Ms. Perser is ALWAYS happy. She made 8am easy to live through! Highly Recommended!

I LOVED THIS CLASS...AND U ACTUALLY LEARN! Its a fun class and there isn't a lot to do. Just listen to the lectures and read time to time and you'll be fine. Tests are not hard, just study a few times before the test and GO TO CLASS. Most things come from her lectures. She's really friendly and helpful. And if she doesn't know, she wont it make up.

Love her! She gives really good study guides. Exams are multiple choice. She also gives bonus points.

Summer class: she was very helpful the tests were right off the study guide. Going to class is good bc she gives lots of points for being there. She is very nice and the topic for the papers were good. You should take this class.

Go to class everyday and everything will be fine. Her class is easy and her lectures are okay.

I took this class when i was going to be a lib arts student. After taking her class, i changed my major to psych. I really appreciated her enthusiasm for the subject, and i'm glad i switched it.

she gives out study guides for all the exams and she actually cares about the students. her lectures are thorough and all on powerpoint so it saves your hands from note taking fatigue. as long as you show up every single time you'll do great b/c there are some things that aren't in the book/p.pt. notes that end up being extra credit on tests.

The class is great, she is a wonderful teacher. Attend all classes and study to obtain easy A. She is very enthusiastic, helpful and open to opinions.

Amazing professor! I had no interest in PSY but after I took her class I realized how much I love it. PSY major or not, you should definently take this class. Her notes are very easy to learn and the tests are right off the study guides. Must have this professor!

Best psyc professor ever! Awsome class. Her tests are very easy, multiple choice. She always has extra credit on there. Drops your lowest test score in the end, very clear, simple lectures. Just make sure u study her study guides and powerpoint slides (which u can print out) cuz those help out A LOT!! I passed the class with an easy A and u can 2!!

I Hate multiple choices, may not be her but I just don't like the ones she gives me...but besides that her lectures are easy to follow (look at her PPoint print outs online). Look at her study guide and you should do fine, nice lady, funny at times

To me she was an ok professor, but the class was pretty easy. Just make sure you attend class because participation counts alot. Her lectures are interesting and the test are pretty easy just make sure you do the study guides they help out so much.

This class was super easy! Have to show up to class for participation points, and she has 4 exams that are straight from her study guide! Two papers are due toward the end of the semester. only compaint is that she was slow with grading.Awsome class to take for an easy A.

She's a nice person, but sometimes she could be very sarcastic. She hates repeating herself, so try to listen the first time. All the test answers are directly from the study guides, so you don't even need to buy the book. It's an extremely interesting and easy class. Highly recommended.

just study the power points. super easy. i always study 2 hrs before test and follweed examples through text book. SUPER EASY CLASS, she's funny sometimes anal but take her! it'll be a breeze

I Loved This professor!!!! This class is my favorite. It's really intereting and she is such a great professor. I love her.

I took her for psy 352 and she is by far the best teacher i've ever had. Her lectures are interesting and her test question reaally follow the study guide--all questions are from text or lecture so don't miss class. she's very clear and truly enjoys her job. she makes you want to be there.

Dr. Perser is a great teacher. she will always help you if you need help. The study guides are extremely helpful. If you attend class and do the study guide...guaranteed A.

take her if you want the A. likes to scare off students. but deep down inside shes a big time sweetheart. i can see why people say she's boring, but she is just trying to make it so everyone can really grasp the information. i had fun in her class

Prof. Perser is incredibly down to earth and approachable. This class counts as an UD GE credit and it will raise your GPA. Take it.

The class I took was not hard but still the info was interesting and I learned alot. She is very down to earth. This class had over 90 students so it did take awhile to get essay papers back still no big deal.Highly recommend!

Perser is an excellent Psychology professor. She is happy and upbeat, her lectures are interesting and she is always willing to help. She gives take home tests, and always gives 10 points worth of extra credit. She grades the test fairly. You have to be trying to fail her course. A+

Not knowledgable on anything psychology based. Lectures are straight from her oraganized notes. Takes forever to get papers back. Lab was wayyy to much work for 1 unit. Sad to say, it was a waste of precious time.

Extremely easy A. Her tests are straight from the study guides. Buy the book (don't read it because it is a waste of time) and use it only to fill out study guides. 5 tests (multiple choice and 2 essay ?s), 1 easy paper, and about 2 in class assignments. RECOMMENDED!!!

Funny, approachable, not the type that would bark at you for a wrong answer.

Prof. Perser is the most entertaining professor I've ever had. I recommend taking her class! She explains every concept that you learn clearly and uses a lot of examples to make sure that you understand what she's teaching. She is really funny and nice. She gives you a study guide for every test and that's all you need to study to pass.

YOU MUST ATTEND CLASS... SHE GIVES YOU POINTS UNEXPECTED AT TIMES. THOSE POINTS ADD UP AND CAN DROP YOUR GRADE. IF YOU GO TO CLASS AND TAKE NOTES SHE IS AN EASY A OR B.

she move very slow but she wants to make sure that everyone understands the concepts plus she gives you a study guide for the tests.

This professor is on crack every day. She's very energetic and it's fun to be in class to see her jumping from one end of the class to another. She is EXTREMELY easy all her tests are straight forward, no surprises. Just read the part of the book on the study and you're good to go!

She is very nice lady and always happy to help. She does got mad when students ask the same question like 5 time within 5min . We had to do online quiz from the book website. Like 4 students sign up for the wrong class in the book website for the quiz so they got mad at her for getting zero points on the web quiz.easy class

Perser is friendly, enthusiastic, and on the student's side. However, her lectures are difficult to follow and sleep inducing. Her grading methods are EXTREMELY generous. If you don't get at least a B in this class you do not deserve to be considered a hominid. You are sub-chimp. Definitely take this class with her.

EASY CLASS EASY A or B she does post our grade in her website. any other infor could be found in her website. She is very nice and happy all the time and ask for take home test she may give take home if you ask. you most go to class for points they help at the end

very easy!!!Love her class..i learn alot. attendance are mandatory, you could easily get 10 points for the in class activities and online quizzes too. (Online quizzes is not that hard) it'll help put ur grade up. got A- for that class. i didnt do good nor bad on all exam. read the book, take notes, and attend. i recommend u take this class

very sweet lady, cares about her students and wants everyone to do well. Gives lots of extra credit assignments i took her for a hard class however i got a b without doing any work. I'm taking her again next semester very nice teacher if you pay attention you will do good =)

She seems very nice, she does allow you to use your notes and text on your final but that is it. she gives a study guide with what will be on the test but other than that you have to be in class each time or you will suffer. she is kind of rude and has no life, would not recommend her, I was looking forward to having psy. bad experience. b

Prof Perser is a great prof, teaches and explains the psychology down to the basics, covers much information as she could, alot info though, but she does what she can, she accommodates to help whatever we need, gives study guides, 5 exams (lowest grade dropped, and one take home) and final, she gives extra credit too, overall love it!

This Professor makes class fun and interesting. I enjoyed her teaching style and loved that she integrates real world examples to the lecture. Exams are somewhat difficult, but if you study then you will get an A. This course was the most interesting and I am not a business major. I recommend students to take her, she is very helpful.

I think this class was very easy. She gives about 4 tests total and gives a detailed outline of what to expect on the test. Most of the tests come from her notes and PowerPoint. She gives classwork, which is usually at the end of class, but they are worth a lot, so class is pretty much mandatory if you want those points.

MADE ME LOOOOOVE THIS CLASS! She has a great way of teaching, that gets the class involved. You can really tell she knows her stuff. She gives study guides that are exact to the test. So study the guides and you'll get an A. Some short one page papers here and there. Dont be late, and dont be afraid to ask questions. She's super nice. Loved her!

The bad comments are people who do not know how to use office hours or do homework. Perser takes her time to explain the chapters and makes sure the class has a grasp on the concepts. I would recommend her.

tough class, but not impossible. do hw/labs RIGHT they will help your grade a lot. go to class, understand the material CONCEPTUALLY not just be able to do the math problems. she can be intimidating sometimes, don't let it get to you. she makes sure the class understands the material. tests get progressively harder. not a walk in the park class...

If you want to learn the material and really understand the concept of Stats/ Research Methods Perser is the one to take. If you show up to class and not miss a single session and do the homework, labs, or any assignment she gives you DO IT - it will help you gain points. She makes Stats fun and is so enthusiastic about the subject.

Very challenging professor. Forces you to use your brain & take initiative. You must read the text and stay up on HW; in exchange you will learn a lot. Very helpful during office hours. Quirky. Makes sure everyone understands the material before moving on. Keeps it real about difficulty level of her course, but goes w/the flow of the semester.

She is an awesome professor. She covers the core of the material in her lectures, but you need to do the homework and read the book to fully grasp the material. Her exams are easy, but the number of questions could be a bit too much. If you do the homework and read the book, there is no reason why you should not get an A in her class.

Do the HW and Lab assignments they will save your grade. Study the book. Her test had too many questons and not enough time. Hopefully if you take her she will show up on time on test days and not 15-25 mins late.

A bit moody, but overall sweet lady. Paranoid about cheating, n checks everything on u. Her tests r hard, and u will need to really listen in on her lectures because she tells u some of the questions. She does curve although she tells students she doesn't to prevent slacking. Offers extra credit at the end. No makeup hw. Rare but possible to get A.

The person before me got an A in this class after 3 tries in previous Stats. I got an A in Stats 1 and a C+ in this one - so go figure. LAB was harder than the 320 portion. She didn't spend a lot of time telling us how to write the APA reports but expected us to know it "COLD." I got what I deserved. The motivation wasn't there for me.

This was a difficult subject, but she is willing to help. You have to put the work and the time to get a good grade ( do homework, study, go to class, etc). Her tests are difficult and to do good you also have to study the lectures, not only calculations, because there are a lot of questions in the test. Put the time and work and you will be fine.

Perser is an amazing professor. Her second and third exams were a little challenging, but she really did make an effort to help her students. Very approachable and always smiling. If you give her the chance to help you in class or one-on-one in office hours, she will make sure you are understanding the material. Definitely feel prepared for PSY 321
