Dr. Schellhase is a great instructor. She has a rather unorthodox method of teaching. She doesn't spend a lot of time lecturing. We do projects in class that are rather juvenile, yet they are surprisingly effective. She is one of the best instructors at CSN.

Dr. Schellhase is a great teacher. She doesn't use the book much, and the quizzes are online and very easy. There are several assignments both as a team and as an individual that require you to get in front of the class and give an oral presentation. No one likes to do this kind of thing and Dr. Maria makes it as easy as possible. Highly recommend.

Dr. Schellhase is really great with breaking everything down. When she asks a question and you are unsure the answer, she doesn't talk down to you. She is very encouraging. I highly recommend her as a teacher.

Very helpful teacher and will respond to any questions or emails rather quickly. Summer class was 6 weeks and the assignments and quizzes did not feel rushed. Every weeks assignments were due by the end of the week. No time limit for quizzes. Do the work, follow along in the book and you shouldn't have any problems.

The best teacher at CSN, if you want to learn what actually goes on in the world of marketing, then she is the professor you need to take. No test just a few real life simulations on the computer takes about 5 min. Will go more and beyond for you as long as you give the effort. The 3 hours goes by so fast, and gives you some slack if needed.

Dr. Schellhase is the best teacher at CSN, she will help anyone who ask her for almost anything. she makes class fun and makes it modern, she will use todays technology such as Facebook, Pinterest, and Twitter to show you how to communicate in the business world. the test are easy take about 10 min, and the other assignments take 15 min combined.

easy class but ALOT of work. I am in MGT 212 and BUS 108 and there are a couple of assignments per week, plus an assessment, but you get 2 tries for the assessment. Be prepared for group projects though, even for an online class. kind of a pain in the butt because most people don't respond via Canvas

She is such an easy grader! I so far have 100% in this class. There is 1 discussion, 1 assignment, and 1 test every week. but the test is not timed and you get to take it twice!! and you can see the answers you got wrong so you can correct them in the next test. She answers quickly to emails and is very caring towards students. Easy work!

I took her for an online class, but I absolutely love her as a professor. She's very organized, time efficient. She helps you out asap if you have questions, there's homework but it's time consuming but expected. I would take her again but as an in person lecture instead. Don't need the textbook! Hands down best business professor at the College of Southern Nevada. Class and instructions are straight up and very concise. If you have any confusion she will communicate and help. Group project with the wrong group of students can suck. But overall learned more and understood more than any other Management or Business class I have taken.

Dr. Maria is one of the greatest professors I have ever had. She is very helpful and makes sure that the whole class grasps the concepts. I have never been so interested in a class until now. I am going to do all I can to continue taking classes that she teaches!

Teacher is amazing, she takes theory and shows you the practicality of it. Very easy quizzes, no mid-term or finals. If you have questions she is always available and gives you a very clear feedback. I will follow her with other business classes. It was a hybrid class so we only met one hour once at week. You work at your own pace in the web lab.

Homework was a chapter summary. There was an exam every 4-5 chapters; three exams total, all open book. She gave clear and concise instructions. I took the accelerated 8 wk class. (If shes still using Cengage textbook, make sure to use the link she provides. Dont register on your own or it wont work and you'll have to pay for it twice, like me!)

Do not get behind on the deliverables in class or you will struggle. Do the online assignments, participate in class and there's no way you won't succeed in her class. She really cares about you as a student, gives practical real world,life situations and scenarios which you will come across in real life. Taking her for all my business classes.

I was taking Hybrid class so I was required to be in class once a week. The teacher is amazing she made sure our time in class was fun and enjoyable. If you need to take Business related classes do it with this teacher!! It was nice to hear that the book is optional saved money by not buying it and ended with A! Its simple do the work and get A.

She enhances your creative thought process. This isn't your typical terminology course. She includes interesting activities and online simulations that force you to think about how you'd handle various situations. She's very energetic/passionate. Made everything crystal clear and explained any questions you had. I can't say enough good things about her. Absolutely amazing professor! Must take her as much as you can!

This was my last class with this Professor, she did not teach any other MGT classes I needed for my Degree. Assignment modules are as usual, follow what she wants and you will get an A. Weekly discussions and exercises, unlimited attempts for the exercises. Definitely love this professor!

8 Week Class, it was a new book we used, the stimulation and modules were new-HARD, took hours. So she ended up not applying them and did two assignments instead, which I rather have done. Ted talks, discussion each week and connect assignment modules. Not sure how it will be outlined for future classes. Good luck! She responds quickly, a plus!

You want to take this professor! She is very nice and caring. There is a lot of homework but it is not hard. If you stay on top of it you will easily pass. She provides her number for contact if you have any questions, which was awesome! This class was well worth it.

A great class keep in mind I took the 6-week summer course. You have 6 Youtube posts nothing too hard just write a couple of paragraphs regarding each of the 6 motivational speakers 1 each week. 1 final exam 1 Blackstone Launchpad building your business module.

Dr. Schellhase is a solid choice not too hard just 6 posts regarding selling you can answer by video or written. Mostly, she asks how would you sell a watch, house, shoe, car and describe which youtube video works best in selling. You complete hmk assign. in Mcgraw-Hill connect which is pricey $100 otherwise easy A.

Class includes a mix of online Connect questions and discussion posts. The discussions were actually interesting. Several of them involved watching Ted talks and applying them to your life. There was one big project that was a video report presenting a Powerpoint that was hard for me but she was very supportive. Great class!

I can say professor schellhase is a great instructor. You can call her anytime for help. she is good at responding back to a question if we don't understand. she will go above and beyond for you if you reach out to her. The final exam was not hard you just need to read the book, its an open book exam.

Dr. Schellhase's class is great. This class 8-week class uses Pearson Lab pricey $100. This class has 8 discussion posts and chapter questions. It has 1 business assignment. 1 business letter 1 video presentation 1 final. Really straightforward.

Very easy class. Took the summer class. You might need the book. just access for the lab to read chapters & answer the book questions. I was able to do it with the free trial.4 discussion posts-post & answer to peers format, the final exams & 2 presentations. Opens all the assignments at the beginning. Always available, communication is key.

One big group project with google meets, but mostly a few easy assignments every week, like grammar, Ted talks, and personal quizzes. This class was easy, and I bought the last version of the textbook for like $6.00, and it worked fine! I would definitely recommend! This class was easy to juggle with 2 other 8 week classes at the same time!

Dr. Schellhase is such a good instructor! She had clear instructions on what to do, and the general coursework was accessible. Very understanding and caring. Excellent communication and online savvy. I really enjoyed taking this class; I learned so many things this semester that I have been able to apply in the real world.

Pretty straight forward online course. The prof had mini simulations to guide along the material that was really helpful. Did almost no writing for this class.

I took the online summer class for about 8 weeks. She is nice and easy to contact. There were 5 weekly assignments, 4 lab assignments, and one discussion prompt. The discussion prompts were about 300 words (5 discussion posts). There was one final exam, open book, and monitored (no camera or mic). The textbook was expensive.

The structure of her class is the best for online learning. The simulations were challenging but I learned a lot and the professor guided me through them. Excellent class.

Professor Schellhase's class is well-organized and engaging. The mini simulations were super helpful. I found Unstuck study and the textbook to be great study aids as well.
