i had to drop her... she is rude!!!

WORST TEACHER TOOK HER LAST SEMESTER SHE IS A TERRIBLE TEAHCER, CONFUSES THE CLASS. DO NOT TAKE!!!!!!!

Horrible horrible teacher. Does not take the grading seriously and will tell you to figure out your grade on your own and won't even give back all your grades. Was 10 chapters behind the final two weeks of class and since the final is cummulative had to RUSH through the last 10 chapters and barely went over the final. Would never reccomend.

Why is it that every time I write this teacher a bad review it gets erased? She does not know what she's doing, she is a terrible teacher, confusing, rude, humiliates her students for fun. U can have an A throughout the semester but somehow final grade will be posted a C. She literally does whatever she feels, grades based on who she likes. Just.

Sepulveda was the most frustrating teacher I've ever had to deal with. Her lectures consist of her constantly talking about her football team at Wayne. Her tests are hard, be prepared to read the entire psychology textbook or you will not pass. Instead of trying to help you, she puts you on spot and degrades you in front of the class. Do not take.

Dr. Sepulveda is a great teacher and I learned a lot, I don't have a lot of complaints except the fact that whenever we have a exam I just wish we had the entire hour to do the exam instead of 40 or 45 minutes because this causes test anxiety in people including myself. Just a few weeks ago I had to rush and I ended up guessing on a few questions.

(1) DO NOT TAKE This class caused me anxiety every time I walked into it Broadcasts peoples personal life and does not even lecture, instead preaches that we need to work on how we act as if we're delinquents and talks about football Rushed through the last few chapters bc we didnt have enough time to go through it at the end.

(2) Gave us exams both days leading up to the final YOU MUST KNOW THE BOOK FRONT TO BACK don't fall behind on reading, also her teaching method is unclear and it is very hard to understand what she is asking of you but wants things done a very specific way. Also more than 2 absences results in being dropped a full letter grade

Maria Sepulveda made me despise a subject that I truly loved. Even showing up to class every day will not make you pass. You will have to teach yourself an entire subject because she will not help you if you need it. She'll call you out for not knowing the answers instead of trying to work with you to answer it correctly. Gets off topic too often.

At the end of this class I found that she is a nice person but not a very good teacher. she would rather yell at you for not knowing something you dont know than actually help you with it. Yelled at someone for taking notes in class She gets off topic very easily but makes you listen to her stories when you could be studying. compares you to others

DO NOT take this professor. I have no reason to lie with any other professor this class is an easy A. She gets off topic very easily about her Wayne State football team. Her exams consist of easily 5 chapters minimum and you're responsible for knowing every single word in the book front to back. Do yourself a favor and take somebody else.

At first I thought Dr. Sepulveda was motivational and did the things she did to get you going. A few weeks in shes constantly late, blames others for her mistakes, and calls out students and compares them to others. She also talks down on her students and will get off topic about Wayne State. Do yourself a favor and dont take her class.

Horrible professor!! She put you down for being confused and/or not knowing the information. She broadcast peoples personal lives. She expects you to teach yourself EVERYTHING! Not helpful AT ALL! Do yourself a favor and take a different professor for psychology.

At the beginning of the semester, she seemed to be really nice but as the semester continued on, you saw her true colors. She's very rude and judgmental. If you ask a question she makes you feel dumb. She doesn't feel with her students if they have an emergency and can't show up to class. She is an overall horrible professor. DO NOT TAKE HER!!!!

Do not take this class. Please dont make the mistake I made. Although Im taking her as a virtual course, she leaves vague comments on what you did wrong, never specifies, and grades so harshly. Barely answers her email. Just dont.

She grades very harshly, prepare to get zeros. She doesn't give clear directions and expects us to follow something that wasn't stated. She wants you to fail. JUST NO! NO!

I took this class online for fall 2021 and it was the biggest mistake of my life. she is Very rude and never answers her emails, she made us write 2 essays per week for whole semester and super harsh at grading. Expectations are unrealistic.

She is the reason i changed my major and made me hate psychology. She gave me so much anxiety,WOULD TALK ABOUT MY PERSONAL LIFE IN FRONT OF THE CLASS. Kept making fun of how quiet i was. instead of teaching,all she would do is talk about her football boys.Would not tell me specifically what i was doing wrong in my essays. She just didnt like me.

She has very strict guidelines but unclear instructions. No clear communication, callus, rude in sparse correspondence, not interactive, waste of money, waste of time. Would not recommend.

I've never thought i'd have to write something like this. 'Dr' blames others for her mistakes. She makes rude comments. She's weeks behind where we were supposed to be. If anyone asks her a question, she finds a way to not answer it. This lady shouldnt be teaching, especially when she makes it clear that she would rather be with her football boys.

She doesn't let you take notes in class unless she says so, gets yelled at for not reading a chapter she never told us to read, has unclear instructions, and basically bullies students for having too many questions or trying to clarify something to the class. Also, she only cares about her football boys.

She is by far one of the worst instructors I've had. DO NOT TAKE HER! She is very rude when she responds to your emails and leaves harsh comments on your work. Her grading is so bad, she takes points off for the smallest mistake and sometimes for no reason. Biggest mistake I have ever made. 1 is too good for her she deserves a zero.

Taking this professor was honestly so difficult. She picks apart your work and takes off petty points, but grades everything very late so you don't know that you made a mistake till weeks later. She is very rude, and will even insult your intelligence if you say anything about her late grading or remarks. The mental stress isn't worth it AT ALL!

Awful. She always says, "If you have a problem with me talk to the Dean" -- and we should! She loves to put students on the spot and humiliate them. All she talks about is her football boys & it seems like she doesn't even care about psychology; I feel bad for her patients. Do NOT take her if you know what's good for you! She should NOT be a prof.

She is awful about getting back to emails and when you do email her she is rude and unclear about what you need to fix in order to better your grade. She cares more about the format of something than the information you write down. I would not take again.

Bro I was a bit late with registering my classes for fall semester and (unfortunately) she was only what was available for me. Worst decision of my life. Scared of failing this class and losing my financial aid.

Her grading is awful.She consistently fails to provide clear and constructive feedback on assignments.Her criteria are vague, leading to inconsistent grading across students. One day she wants work double spaced the next the whole guidelines changed. Her grading undermines the learning process and leaves students feeling frustrated and demotivated.

Lol, she has to retire. U guys ever see those Joe Biden clips where he forgets what he's saying and just mumbles whatever. That's literally her. She skips half a chapter every chapter. She is very disrespectful to students that aren't her "football athletes". . She puts students on the spot and makes fun of them. Sloppiest handwriting. Shes a joke.

I honestly wish I had dropped this class the first week or two of having it, she constantly targets students and claims that she is easily accessible, but is impossible to reach via email. Is extremely insensitive when it comes to students feels, you also will spend the entire course teaching yourself since she doesn't know how to teach.

If I have the ability to rate her -10, I would; This professor is so rude, so aggressive and so annoying as well. Assignments: 2 essays: 1000 words for both, 1 discussion forum: 450 words, 2 exams: 175 questions for both. She is a very tough grader, She deduct a huge amount of points just for the citations. She respond to your emails very late.

This prof is for the STRONG. 1st day she went on about how she'd lower our grade if we had absences, lose points for being late, etc etc. Made my nerves bad. She's the type to make you feel dumb. Claims she's accessible outside of class. Emailed her twice, NO RESPONSE. Shes very disorganized. Had no clue what my grades were on ANYTHING but 1 test.

You have to teach yourself. The professor does not show your grade until the class is over and the instructions for assignments are unclear. Very anxiety inducing class. I am very upset that I had to pay for this.

This teacher bullies students. I don't understand how she hasn't been fired yet. Someone actually complained to her to the dean and somehow she is still employed. PLEASE do not take her class, you will regret it immediately. Ironic she is a psychology professor and yet is not self aware about herself and how rude & disrespectful she is to students.

She's going to have 4-5 students in the class that she will harass all semester. Ofc I was one of those students and it just got too much where I had to drop earlier in the semester. I am really not one to say something like this but she genuinely deserves to lose her job and I truly hope she does. She is terrible, I would rate her lower if I can.

Just started this class and already she is rude and not polite. Asked her a question and she was not helpful at all, her instructions are completely unclear and assignments are not how they are listed.

MEAN and inconsiderate. Doesn't care about her students. She gives the most complicated assignments and makes students write EXACTLY 500 words for almost every paper. She's a harsh person. I always give people the benefit of the doubt and think good of them but she kept repeating her actions. Also she is impatient. Hopefully she changes her ways.

This teacher has been very rude and unprofessional to her students. She picks specifically on the boys in her class, and makes everyone seem uncomfortable with her. There are about 6 things currently in the grade book for her class, exams, a paper, and diagrams, and we are halfway through the semester and only have one exam done, 90% of us failed.

I would not take this professor again! She is accessible through email outside of class but is never helpful in the answers. She gives very unclear instructions and gets mad when you are unsure of what to do. Expect to teach yourself everything and guess what you're supposed to do for the paper.

I promise you'll regret choosing her. I chose her last minute and it was the worst decision i've ever made in school. She is so rude and harsh over email. I don't even want to imagine in person. You get 2-3 assignments a week 2 of them are 500 words. The 3rd is a 250 word discussion board with a 100 word response. Strictest grader. Don't do it.

Very rude, unorganized, picks on people in front of everybody, picks favorites, doesn't shut up about "leaving an NFL player at a resturaunt", expects you to read her mind, lectures are all over the place, tells people to email her then doesn't answer. Don't recommend.

Do NOT take this class, please, for your sanity. Dr. S tends to flip flop between being nice to her students and being terrible. She does NOT grade on time, nor is good at explaining things at all to her students in class or email. She gets off track often in lecture. The class is test heavy with 5 exams, 1 paper, and no homework at all.

There was 5 test,one paper, the test would have very confusing options, she did offer extra credit for them but was a very passive aggressive person who picked on students often. She did give motivational speeches often but don't take her if you need a good grade in psyc

She is very harsh when it comes to speaking with students. She is quick at responding to emails, but she tends to have an attitude in her responses. There was also a bunch of busy work for this class, nothing impactful.

don't take her if you actually like going to school. she will make ur life a living hell. she's disrespectful, favors students, doesn't teach well, she's all over the place and she's always picking on people. claims she's “helping her students” when in reality she's just making them feel so dumb.
