What a wonderful Professor Lindsay, A student would really enjoy her class, and really learn alot. She taught that material. If you do her work, come to class, assignments and test are soo easy, you will get an A in the class. She will keep up with you and assinments and let you know how you doing within the class. She is the best professor I have had at FCCJ. Some people say her class is a joke but I learned so much in her class and it inspired my major. Don't take it if you HATE group work but otherwise it's so much fun. She interacts with the class and does a great job at offering new and "taboo" ideas into the conversation.

Mrs. Webster is a wonderful human being and, she has a desire to try new things to improve her teaching skills. This is not a difficult class, and you take out of it what you put in.

Marriage and Family is a great class. No tests, only a few papers....every meeting is a class discussion. Only one service project. If you want an easy A, this is your class. easy easy easy! Attendence is not manditory, at all! The one thing i did not like about the class is how opinionated the class was. Also she seems rather liberal and opinionated herself. But a VERYVERY nice lady overall, i would forsure take her again!

Prof. Webster, is a very good instructor at FCCJ. She teaches through group projects and Powerpoint. However,you have to write a small peer review and research paper, grade not based on MLA or APA format. Just do a rough draft and you will get 200 pts for just turning it in. Revise the paper and you get 300 pts. Attendance not mandatory! Sign up!!!

Take this class. You will learn a lot and get a good grade if you do the work, which is not hard. Awesome teacher. By the very nature of the class some taboo things are discussed that makes for some uncomfortable lessons, but the whole idea is to make you see the big picture not just your own little world. Oh and she is very easy on the eyes.

we had so many discussions which were so controversial but were so meaningful. she let us come up with all the ideas and she was very nice and you didn't have to turn in all your assignments on time and we didn't need the book. you don't have to bring it to class either

Awesome teacher! I loved her teaching style. Learn by doing instead of a bunch of busy work. You write 3 papers and have 4 tests. Tons of extra credit opportunities that are fun and will make you learn a thing or 2 about yourself. Got an A in the class!

The class is typical though her grading sytem is off and always changing, making it hard to moniter the grade you have throughout the semester.

I really enjoyed her teaching style. We had a lot of very informative open discussions. There were a few papers we had to write, but she is a very lenient grader. As long as you do them and turn them in on time, you get good grades on them.

Pro. Webster is very lenient. She talks the majority of class time and the assignments given during class are simple, fun, and informative. Online quizzes is no hassle (just do research). Notes can be used during tests. However, volunteer hours, plenty of extra credit, and food can replace these tests. This class is a EASY "A" and a non-regret.

Shes very good, I learned a lot. Took her in Fall of 10 She required a lot of busy work, and she graded papers like and English professor. Hint, she loves if you use personal experiences in your paper, she would always give me good feedback about that. She is very sweet & rounded an 89.somethin to an A with a little extra work, but it was worth it

Awesome professor! She's always happy and very cheerful, and the class was really easy. I had an A the entire semester. She's not a tough grader, can be very lenient, especially on tests and papers we had to write. I aced both papers. And the learnsmart assignments are an easy 15 points so COMPLETE those! Very fun class.

She is very helful and understanding if something happens in you personal life. I had a hard time understanding exactly what to study for tests. She has power point, but a lot isn't ever used on tests, so took lots of useless notes. Do your Learnsmart before every class. Gives lots extra credit

Great Professor! Gives a good agenda to follow, makes room for extra credit, easy to understand and follow. This class was awesome and I would recommend everyone take it. Make sure that you do your work on time she will not take late papers. But usually they are super easy. The book is too big and heavy but good info and great learning!

Great professor! But she gives a lot of work so you got to pace yourself with her. We did use the textbook quite all the time for the modules on Learnsmart, there's about 18 of them. Her tests are EXTREMELY LONG, but if you take the practice tests, you should be fine. Also, if you get perfect attendance, you're exempt from the Final. Easy A class.

Easy A as long as you can read the syllabus and do what she asks. Very nice lady, and takes time to offer input on all your graded papers.

One of the best online classes I've taken at FSCJ. Professor gives clear instructions, responds quickly to e/m, participates in DB's (nice to have a teacher interact and get to know us), grades very fairly, and gives a reasonable amount of work (for an 8 wk class it was doable, but you must make an effort/put in the time). I highly recommend her :)

For my first online class it was great, she is an awesome instructor!! The work is very doable, just follow the syallbus to stay ahead. She gives feedback to DB & papers, responds quickly to emails, and very understanding if personal problems arise. I got a B because I slacked on the final paper but I was ok with that. Highly recommended!!

Best professor I've had. A bit spacey but organized. She is helpful with any questions and replies to emails in no later than 2 days. Makes class interesting and encourages participation in discussions in class. Usually one short page and a half papers due weekly, and one research paper for semester. No tests or quizzes! I'm taking a 8 week sociology class and I have maintained a "A". She is very helpful and doesn't load you down with work.

Make sure to READ the directions clearly or you wont get credit at all even if you wrote a 1,000 words. No group projects. Can take quizzes multiple times. for every discussion board you must respond to 2 ppl. two movies you have to write essays on in APA format. Will help you succeed if you try.

Her class is organized but you do have to read the text and do research. The homework is not a heavy load but you will have to write. I have taken her before and will take her again. As long as you are trying she has no problem helping you achieve your goal. You do the work and you'll get the grade.

She is the best professor I have taken. She does have 2 or 3 papers but they are super easy. She really got the whole class participating in the lectures and really saw each other and kind of made a family within a classroom. There were literally people crying on the last day of class because they had enjoyed it so much.

Prof. Lindsay is a true gem! I absolutely love her! Im taking her again not for SYG 2000. She's wonderful and she's absolutely caring. Everything is online. It's all through McGraw Hill. I would recommend her to anyone who has to take SYG!

I absolutely love Professor Maria. She prefers to go by Lindsay. She's a really good teacher. He lectures are amazing. She's funny and she always make it clear that she isn't perfect and it's okay to make mistakes in life. I've learned a lot from her. She's a true gem and I would take her again and recommend her to any student.
