This is one of the best professors I have ever had. She is fair, answers emails rapidly, grades papers and returns them to you quickly, provides detailed information, and is always available for questions and help. I would highly recommend her.

I have had this professor twice. She makes her requirements clear and helps students succeed. The people in class who complained had not done their work and got mad when she deducted points off their grades. She also will run assignments through turnitin to check for plagiarism, and students who were caught got mad.

The teacher was great, but the school put an exam out that wasn't right. For this school, alot of the courses have school exams, not professor exams. You have to take the exam with a proctor, not the prof.

The professor was very clear in what was required and reminded us before each assignment when the due date was. She provided inline comments and did not have mandatory discussions. The discussions were for us to learn from, not be graded from. I really liked that and it was less stressful than having all the discussions graded.

In order to get an A in this class, you need to work. There is a lot of information to take in, but it is clear and easy to digest. If you are used to giving generic ChatGPT answers to assignments, do not expect an A. Dr. L has high expectations, and while very fair in her assessments, is not afraid to call you out for substandard work.
