Awesome teacher! Great tutor! Some tests and quizzes are a little hard, but most are easy. As long as you do your homework, you'll be fine. I'm taking College Algebra w/ her now. If you ask her alot of questions about Intermediate Algebra, maybe you should retake that class!

She was a very good teacher, I always understood what she was teaching. Her tests werent difficult and she was more than happy to go over any material that you didnt understand.

This class was easy for me because I took Calculus in High School, so yes it was mostly a review class. As far as good teaching, I'm not sure if it were my first time working with College Algebra material I would pass...so um if you were forced to take college algebra instead of a higher level math then you dont' even need to show up to class.

very nice teacher, helpful if you need it but quick with the lessons because there is so much to cover..mathlab made tests easier and she was very lenient when it came to deadlines..also she will give you extra pts on tests if you do online reviews as well as partial credit for showing work on scratch paper-even if you got the answer wrong on test

I learned. Yes she goes fast, but I learned. I did the work and she helped with any questions I had. She was helpful and her test were right to her lessons. Highly recommend for quick learners

Professor Coanda is a special women. She helps you out. She gives you extra credit if you show her initiative in learning, and passing her class. She is awesome and patient. She gives you extra points on your scrap sheet. Overall, I love this teaher.

Excellent teacher. Speaks fast, but very knowlegeable and helpful. Will assist you if you come to her office. I would take her again any semester.

I found her helpful. I took a Fast Track class and she was extremely good. She stayed after class to explain things.

Took MAT 1033 online. Not too hard if you did well in H.S. Answer questions same/next day. Can not make up anything. Don’t buy the text book b/c its online(pdf) You must have time for this class. I thought i could do math 1x a week but you must devote a ton time even if you are good at math. Online is harder than in class...

I took this class several times and failed and in some i just stop attending. This blended course was very conveinent with my work schedule. I would recommend this professor to any one. She's is an awesome professor. As a matter of fact I'm going to take her next semester for Mac 1105 can't get enough of her. Keep up the good work Coanda!!!

I LOVED HER shes soo sweet nice and very helpful what i liked about her was how she tried her best so that everyone would understand, she gives practice tests that are just like her real tests my only advise is that when it comes to finals and midterm study every thing not just the practice other than that this blended course was great !

Awesome professor. Passing her class does not come easy, you must dedicate some time to practice. She is very knowledgable. Her lectures are well prepared and understood. Book not necessary. Take notes and do practice assignments and you'll be prepared for tests. Loved the class. Didn't want to miss class in that I may miss information.

She is a really good professor. I took her online calss and it was the easiest Math class that I have ever taken. Her tests are not hard and are straight forward, just make sure that you understand the concepts. I never had lower that a 95 on any test. She gives extra credit, which is really nice. Take her class you will NOT regret it.

I never liked maths before taking this class. But now i am eager to try another maths course. Professor is very friendly and easy to grade. Her tests are really easy if you take practice tests. I took online this summer and i loved it.

I took Mat 1033 twice with two different instructors and could not pass it. I took it Coanda and to my surprise I passed the course with an A. She is a great professor and she teaches with passion.

Gret teacher. I failed this class with other professors twice. I took her online and finally passed. She gives 40 extra points for discussions, two attemps for the quizzes, and is very helpful. If you are terrible at math like me, take her online course. I wish she taught MGF1106 &1107.

Easy A. Really nice and will help if needed. I took her online and she gives two attempts for quizes and is really lenient. Take her! Especially if you want an A and want to learn. I'm taking her for 1105; she's well worth the tuition money and will help you pass the class. Attendance not mandatory, but recommended.

Took her MAT1033 online and it was super easy!! There is no reason not to get an A if you actually do the work! Anyone who says she is not fair, or her class is hard is just plain lazy! Take her, I think she is great and gives 40pts extra credit!

She was an excellent teacher! She uses blackboard and has a very great way of delivering the notes. All notes are available online and ahead of time. No reason to fail this class. I learned a lot. It filled in all of the gaps in math that I had before attending this class.

This class was not an easy one. I suggest if you haven't taken math recently please take this class in a regular setting because online is a self studing class. It requires a lot from you. I did this class in 6 weeks online and it was stressfull. The professor was very helpful. Midterm and final was done on campus. Good luck!

Like the person two comments below me, I took this class for 6 weeks in the summer. I passed with an A, but I'll never do it again. It's very stressful. There are 8 online quizes, and in-class Midterm and Final. She gives you an optional review test for the midterm and final online that are almost EXACTLY like the actual ones. MyMathLab is a savior

Not a class for those who cannot self study. Yet, more than enough opportunity to pass. I took the class over the summer and stressed the whole time. Good thing is she allows for quizes to be taken twice and the review pre-test questions are the same questions on the test itself. MathXL saved the day in this class, which is the programm she uses.

It was a really easy class, the person below me does not know what they are talking about, homework was never part of our grades,50% online quizzes,25%midterm 25% final there was also a little bit of extra credit but it wouldn't change your grade unless you were a %point away. I got an A(96%), we're in college and this is math so just study

Took class online during the Summer. Loved the format. Lots of homework but it's not graded, so you're using it as a study guide. Be prepared to teach yourself, but she very helpful with pointing you in the right direction.

Summer class. Class is easy if you study throughout the week. Entering answers can become tricky on MathXL, but you have two tries to take each test. Professor is helpful, but you'll have to teach yourself most of time if taken online.

Took her online course summer B. I must say i slacked off a bit due to it being the summer. However, i still managed to get a B. All the test are open book except the mid term and final. Gives 5 extra points each test

Took her online 8 week course. Went by fast. Dont need the book. Must purchase the MathLab for blackboard, which cost $75.00 off they website. Mathlab was very helpful with breaking down the work. Take good notes to use on the weekly tests. Gives 5 pts for weekly disc. Must take Midterm/Final at South Campus. Math is hard and you have to study.

I have had this Professor for two different math classes and she was good! One which was blended and one completely online. She explains things clearly and will go out of her way to help any students who asks for it. HW was 10% online quizzes 40% & 25% midterm 25% final. I wish she was teaching the last math I need!

Took her online College Algebra course. She rounded my 79.something to an 80 for a B, the angel! If you can teach yourself, she is great for online course. Final grade = Ch. tests (50%), midterm (25%) & final (25%). For Ch. tests, you get 2 chances. All tests/exams multiple choice! She gives some extra credit too. Never met her but seems lovely.

TOOK HER ONLINE BLENDED CLASS FOR BOTH MAC1105 AND MAT1033. SHE'S A GREAT TEACHER AND HAPPENS TO BE EXTREMELY HELPFUL. HER DISCUSSIONS ARE EXTRA CREDIT AND ATTENDANCE ISN'T MANDATORY EXCEPT FOR EXAMS AND FIRST DAY. YOU WILL NEED A MYMATHLABPLUS ACCESS CODE. SHE'S ONE OF THE BEST AND I WOULD RECCOMMEND HER. TWO LOWEST TESTS (8) GRADES ARE DROPPED.

This women is amazing. I was going to fail her class but she influenced me not to drop it and helped me personally understand it. I i had a 67.7 but she rounded me to a C because i did all of the homework which is not graded. Truly she is a nice person and a great teacher.

She is a nice Professor however i struggled in this course. I took her blended class and all work and tests were on D2L. She posts her class notes on D2L as well which is a plus but i basically taught myself. She teaches fast, unless ur good in math i would not recommend her. I passed this class fortunately. She doesn't give much extra credit

She's a good professor. Even though her accent was strong and she sometimes rushes her lectures, she isn't a bad professor. I got an A at the end. :)

Easy class in my opinion. If you're taking a 6 week online course, just be prepared to spend a lot of time working online. Only a few proctored tests, which she goes over to make sure you get all of the points you deserved. Tests are super easy to study for too. I would take this class again.

Some of these reviews are so dumb. All of her lecture examples + more are on D2L and everything she teaches is on her tests. You have to do the ALEKS Pie. Yes it's a lot but its a college class so get over it. She's very nice and willing to help as well and give more examples if needed. Give her a chance and you won't be disappointed.

I had her for both MAC1033 and MAC1105. We only had class once a week and the rest of the work was done on ALEKS. As long as you pay attention, ask questions, and complete your work, you'll be okay. I recommend doing the practice tests as many times as possible so you're ready for the actual tests. If all else fails, youtube is your best friend.

She does a good job of explaining lessons but shes a little fast, I dont struggle with math so it was ok for me. Basically the whole class is based on Aleks with tests every 3 weeks. Good class Id recommend. We also have homework on Aleks every week.

Easy A for an online math class. The exams are proctored, there's three exams and one final. Quizzes can be long but the quizzes are not proctored. She's not that much help if you actually have a math question but the class is easy to finesse. I suck at math and I got an A

professor coanda is a great professor. her work is based of aleks, if you do good on the pre test, less hw for you. i did summer term so it was a lot of work but if you stay on top of it , youll pass. attendance was non mandatory. she did good at explaining the lessons

Hi! If you decide to take this teachers course online, just know, you will be teaching yourself. But you can always email the prof when you have qs. It was an easy A for me because I was already taught the material in Algebra 2 Honors @ my school. The work load was pretty heavy but if you know the material, it wont take long to do. Good luck ;)

Shes really a great professor. Theres a lot of work but obviously because its through Aleks. However, if you stay on top of each assignment you should do fine. Shes an easy going professor, i only got a C because after a few I stopped staying on top of my assignments, but she still passed me. Shes the best. TAKE HER! You wont regret it!!

She gives great lectures, which is the only reason why I was able to do so well in this class compared to other math classes. I sent her math problems that were giving me trouble and she replied that same day with a document full of explanations. She allows you to pass if you actually put effort and do all your work. Tests are similar to hw.

TAKE THIS CLASS! I'm a senior and high school taking dual enrollment and I totally screwed up, didn't do my work, and had a 34% in her class with less than a month to bring it up. I reached out to her and explained my situation. She was incredibly helpful and allowed me to retake a test I missed. I ended with a passing C in the class.

She will do whatever it takes for u to pass. But you also have to put from your part. If your close to a 70% but not quite there, shell get you there. She teaches very well, has an accent but no big deal. Lots of HW on Aleks, 4 tests plus a final (no midterm). U can email her at any time, she answers you. This is the best math teacher u will find.

Im horrible at math. I mean the absolute worst. But I was able to pass because of her help. Stop looking for someone else & pick her. This is my first time taking her but my 2nd time taking MAC1105C. This class is very difficult but she is the best its gonna get when looking for a teacher. I was below 70 & she helped me to get to a 70. Good Luck!

In all honesty, her class was pretty easy. But the class is pretty packed with work assignments so i dont reccomend her to you if you think youre bad at managing time. She gives you a week to finish a whole unit that includes homework up to 40 questions,lab,and video lectures. Shes EXTREMLY picky with how you answer your labs and how you show work

I really liked Professor Coanda. She is quick to grade, assignments are paced out well and she is very helpful over email. I enjoyed taking her class and did not find it to be too challenging.

It was not that hard considering it is a math course, but it was a good amount of work with important exams.

She is honestly not a bad teacher, she may seem cold but she is incredibly nice. Suggestions: -STUDY!! -Don't just cheat on the homework, actually review it. -The review tests she gives are the exact type of questions on the test. -Go to the lectures, she goes over a lot of questions and explains everything that will be on the tests and the HW.
