Mrs. Dugan rocks! i hate biological sciences and i came out of there with a B. she has a lot of notes, biology is boring anyway, so she tries to crack a joke here and there. study the notes and go to SI sessions, that really helped and use the review sheets to study.

She is very cool and funny. Biology is a boring subject but she makes it interesting. Her classes are awesome!!

All of the questions for her tests are in the notes that she gives. She is also great if you need extra help and is easy to talk and relate to.

Great Class! She know that most people dont like science so she trys to make the best of it! There are 4 or 5 test and the questions are all based on the notes that she made on power point she ussually does a review before the test also! If you take the notes and study them you should pass!!!

Mrs Dugan is an awesome teacher with excellent teaching techniques. Very helpful and caring with a nice sense of humor. Her teaching techniques and notes made me remember the material for the tests. I would highly recommend this teacher to anyone who is taking biology.

She is a good teacher. Very starightforward. Her notes are all typed up for you and very clear. Everything on the tests is in the notes and she basically tells you what to know! Awesome teacher! Took her for bio, liked her a lot, then took her for a&p 1 lab. Easy class, she's funny, and she really does care!

She is a great teacher. Very energetic, gets you laughing even though A&P is a boring subject. Everything on the tests are on her slides & she gives you printouts of the notes. Study them you will get an A on the test. Final exam is optional and will replace lowest test grade. The quizes added together can also replace a test grade.

One of the best teachers who teach A&P in north campus. Intresting class. Tests are straighht forward. And if you study the notes and do a little bit of reading you will do good in this class.

For this course, she tested based on notes ONLY, we didn't use the book. She tells a lot of interesting stories and I really enjoyed going to her class. She also left plenty of space open for questions and stayed after class to ensure everyone understood. I would heavily recommend taking her classes.

Uses a lot of technology and visual aids to teach the class, which helps a lot. This class is actually pretty interesting for a Biology class. YOU DO NOT NEED TO BUY THE BOOK. Just print out the notes that are online and follow along in class and you should do fine. Overall, very good class.

This week was my first week in her class and already I can tell she is going to be a great teacher! She tells the class how she had teachers that she hated and put her to sleep and blah blah and that she swore she would never be like that and she's NOT!! Take her for biology for sure, great teacher! 4 tests, final is optional!!

She is easy to understand and doesn't mind questions. All the tests go off all her lectures. I didn't even buy the book for this class.

Study, show up to class and read the book and you will pass. Helps to take a lab too. She is easy to get along with but tests will scare you a lil bit.

Excellent professor, definitely recommend her uses powerpoint lectures,handouts, clicker where you ans ?'s that she has on the lecture thats how she takes attendance n keeps track of whose participating n who knows what she reviews before each test(all 4)final is optional she has all notes on her website n uses alot of animations to explain work

She was a great professor. Helpful and clear. It's not an easy class, but that's not her fault. Do the work and you'll be fine.

Professor Dugan is a good professor that has high expectations of her students. If you have a sensitive personality, you won't like her approach. However, she is quite knowledgeable and is always willing to help her students. You will have to work hard to do well in this class, that's just the nature of A&P and its lab.

Prof Dugan is a great biology teacher. She wants her students to do well. She does review questions after each lecture, optional final exam, but hates those who sleep in her class. I had her at 9:30am and would occasionally doze off, she would call me out by name and say WAKE UP!! Overall good teacher and would take again if needed.

I loved Dugan! But then again.. I enjoy the sarcasm and wittiness, it was the only thing that kept me interested and awake. don't sleep.. god forbid ur cell phone ring! But as soon as you learn her quirks and how to approach her, she's excellent. She DOESN'T spoon feed, she expects you to be a student not a child! Wished she taught more classes

By far my favorite biology teacher! Going into allied health you will be taking a lot of biology classes, she is absolutely a treat to have teach you bio! I strongly recommend her for bio and A&P

Great teacher. Took her fast track course and passed with a B. She has a lot of online quizes and 6 discussions. She gives reviews for tests online. The tests are based on her power points mostly. Never needed to use a book. As long as you do all the quizes online and study for the tests you will pass. Tests are hard so you need to study!

I took the fast track course. There is a lot of material to cover, there are 2 quizes per week online through blackboard, and 1 discussion per week. She gives 4 tests in class. She is a great teacher, knows the material very well. She is helpful and explains everything clearly. Her tests/quizes come from powerpoints. I passed the class with a B.

She was one of my favorite, I don't understand why other students love to blame on the instructor when they don't get a good grade, study is what she recommend, read her materials... she's fun, helpful and straight to the point! If you want babysit, she's not for you... if you are able to take responsiblity and learn... she's great!

I took her for lab. She doesn't take anyones BS. Her tests can be a lil tricky. Your grade is based on 4 skills checks, 5 15 questions quizzes, and 2 practicals. Shes a great teacher, but you really need to study. I prob wont pass her class, but thats not her fault, but mine.

She's great. Certainly not an easy class, and very intense, but only for two months. She's extremely reasonable, and is blunt about the large course load. For Biology, a total of 19 quizzes, 6 discussions, 4 tests, and an optional final. She gives you all the tools you need for success.

She is an excellent teacher. However, her test are insanely difficult and unreasonable. Would not suggest taking her class. I am a A+ student, but barley made it out of her class with an A.

This is my first time rating a professor. I just finished taking Environmental Science with Marie Dugan. She's very clear with subject from day 1 through the end. She's very easy, no book required, attendance only for the first 2 weeks, she's not boring with lecture. Overall, she's great and recommend any student to take her class.

Prof. Dugan is an inspirational person and a very knowledgeable about environment. She tells you everything you want to know about interesting facts of the world and especially Florida. Her tests make you think before answering the questions and you have to be update on her class. You will learn a lot and you won't ever feel weird in front of her.

Professor Dugan was very helpful. I took her online for labs before graduation and she was ALOT OF HELP. I thought I was going to get a D but she gave me a C. There's alot of experiments and dont copy and paste from the internet she will know but besides that she helped me catch up when I fell behind. Take her and you will learn!

Professor Dugan is the BEST! She is extremely helpful, she responds to emails very quickly. Her grading is very fair. Her class is a must pass. There are many experiments, no exams. Take her.

This class is weighted heavily on your 4 exam grades. You will have to put forth some effort in studying and whatnot to pass. Professor Dugan is one of the best! She gives great feedback on assignments, responds to emails quickly, extremely helpful and great personality. I would take her again. On the other hand, be prepared for lot of experiments and quizzes with 3 discussions. Some of the experiments are time consuming.

You wanna meet a lady that loves the environment, well this lady is right up your alley. She conveys what you need to know about the world in a way that doesn't feel too preachy or too governmentaly mandated. The class work itself is pretty simple as long as you occasionally glance at the work and try to pick up on the things that are lectured.

Amazing teacher, knows the subject very well. she is truly willing to teach you about environment as well as about importance taking care of it. Very clear grading criteria, she spends at least 5 minutes of every class explaining what is due and how the stuff should be done. Lectures are very interesting. Loved her sense of humor

This Professor I took online gives great lectures and although she has a lot of pop quizzes and exams with one project, she gives you review sheets which are notes to look over and write on, and if you pay attention to her announcements when exams are coming up she tells you what to review for your exam. There is a final but it is optional.

I took her 8-week class. It was a steady amount of work and quizzes. I used flash cards to study for her exams. She gives extra credit quizzes. Show up, do the work assigned, study for exams and you will pass.

Prof. Dugan is great professor! Her lectures are easy to understand and she loves to make jokes! My class was at 8am so most people were tired but she always brightened the room with her jokes! She is very caring and wants all her students to pass. She has review sheets for her exams which are the BEST! Everything that is on there, is on the exam!

Wow. Professor Dugan was exceptional in the amount of information relayed in environmental science. These lectures not only were engaging but entertaining. Due to her experience, it benefited when she referred to personal jobs or trips dealt with environmental science. I was truly intrigued.

I actually enjoyed her biology class... It was not the easiest but she explains everything.. She was very helpful during the COVID-19 transition. I did obtain a C+ but that is my fault for not studying as hard as I should of.. Overall, you have to work for your grade but i like a challenge. I decided to pick her up for the BSC lab for fall.

TAKE HER ONLINE! Her lay out is excellent, easy to understand. Just do the work and try your best and you will get a B. If i put a little more effort I could have EASILY gotten A. You decide your grade in this class. PLENTY OF EXTRA CREDIT! TAKE HER ONLINE ADHERE TO HER DUE DATES, YOU WONT REGRET IT. Would take her again if i needed another science

What a great person and professor! This is the only class I wish I could've taken during the pandemic. You do have to earn it. Just do what your suppose to, don't copy and paste. When she can tell that you have taken the time to understand the material and give a response that shows that, you'll get a good grade. The exams can be tough.
