She is an awesome teacher. If you can write, you will pass with an A. She will give you many opportunities to bring your grade up. Take advantage of the journal enteries write over a page each time!!! That is how I got my A. She is really into her subject, so READ!!! You will need to, b/c she will call on you in class.

Very sweet, caring teacher who will give many opportunities to raise your grade throughout the semester. MUST buy book(s) & MUST attend class or she will drop you. Requires lots of reading, writing, daily journal entries, & class participation, but if you can handle all of this then you'll be fine.

Too much reading and journal entries with 2 pages, but good for you to update your grade. She's really helpful,if you are international student.

She is a great instructor who is very heplful. Gives opportunites to raise grades. I strongly recommend her!

Pro. Dybala is super sweet, enthusiastic, and a space cadet at times. She cancels class because her dogs get sick, forgets if she gave homework assignments, what class you are, and keeps your papers FOREVER..., but she is an easy grader. fairly easy grader. what ever she states is her requirement for her papers/notebook entries just write more to receive extra points. she's very nice and a little ditsy. takes a while to grade papers. however i highly recommend her. everything should be easy if you read the stories and put in your two cents.

Ms. Dybala was wonderful. You must attend class and do the work. She tends to get behind so just try and stay ahead of the syllabus so you don't. She is sweet as can be.

Sweet and fun but she does tend to stay off topic. If you are her first class of the day, don't expect her to be on time. And you will most likely fall behind the syllabus since she does teach a lot of classes and has a lot of papers to grade.

She's an excellent teacher. She truly cares about her students. She tells you exactly what she's looking for in her papers. As long as you attend class and pay attention, you should be fine. She's an easy grader. I would recommend her for English 1301 and 1302.

She is an excellent teacher; intelligent and very helpful. Her class isn't boring as shes quite energetic and you do a lot of group work. However, her class is not easy; I wouldn't recommend her if you want an easy A. Be prepared to do a lot of work as you will always be busy doing something. She will fail you if you don't comply with her rules.

She's very nice and tries her best to help her students. She does spend the first 20 minutes of class talking about nothing, but usually gets to her point. I made an A. Very easy work.

She is a teacher that TALKS wayyy too much....she wastes a lot of time on nothing. Her class is't that easy, she is a pretty strict/detailed grader...I wouldn't want to take her ever again.

This professor is pretty nice. BUT..she can seriously talk - NONSTOP. Sometimes she talks so much that she ends up wasting a lot of class time, which the class gets behind. She is a pretty detailed grader. Overall, her class isn't too bad.

Very good professor. A true sweetheart. She can be very redundant but it's only because she wants to see the success of her students. If you just do your work you should have no problems in her class. I'm not the greatest student in the world, but i managed to get in A in her class. She's a very nice teacher and her class it quite easy.

She's an OK teacher. Just do your work and participate and you'll pass. She was behind on the syllabus most of the time but i think that it was due to the fact that she just started learning how to use eagle online.

Cool teacher, yeah she talks alot but so what, she teaches what shes supposed to teach, and if you dont slack off then youll pass. She grades good, what do you expect? To write a sloppy essay and pass?! Good teacher, take her!

This professor is fairly easy if you listen to her and do her work. However, she DRAGS on her lectures. She is probably one of the worst professors I've had, but she is an easy grader.

Ms. Dybala can be rough on her students. But, if they fallow the instructions she gives, any student can get a grade they deserve. I strongly recommend to take her class, but be ready to have some problems if you never had a decent self-respecting teacher.

Don't take her unless you're good at English. She hasn't return my first paper, which was 2 or 3 week before spring break, until midterm exam day. I just got a C for my first essay and I'm pretty sure I did the same mistakes in the midterm one. C is probably the highest grade I can get for this class

Three main assignments--Essay re: Short Story read in class; Mid-term exam essay written in class; Research paper. Details exactly what she wants to see in essayspaper. Slow on grading due to number of classes she teaches, but clear comments on submissions. Will know your name by second week. Stresses MLA style. Long-time HCC faculty member.

She is the most fun teacher I have for English. She is always there to help you when you have a problem. She is a fair grader, do your homework on time and you have an A for sure.

First she talks a lot like I mean A LOT. But you will have 1 essay one in class midterm, group presentation and a research paper. She takes a while to grade but she gives good feed backs. You have to earn your grade. She gives specific outline on how to write her papers so all you have to do is follow directions. Attendance is absolutely mandatory

She's a easy grader but as long as you do your work and follow her instructions, you'll pass. It's a workload but it's worth it for a student that is trying to have a great gpa. She does repeat herself but only because students don't seem to pay attention and she wants them to pass. Overall she is a great professor.

I took her for my summer class we did 3 essays 1 final exam essay and a group project that goes with the research paper. Honestly her class is not that hard as long as you follow her instructions on how to write the essay. She is an easy grader. I would recommend her to anyone that just wants an A. Professor Dybala is a great professor. Be ready to read and write. If you're looking for a very passionate and caring professor she's amazing. She can be a little unorthodox, but if you do the work she is very understanding and helpful.

Professor Dybala is very understanding I've taken her in person and online. She's truly amazing and response to emails right away. If you have any issues just let her she will work with.

I took her a few semesters back and she was the BEST english professor i've ever taken. I don't understand why she has bad reviews! Must be the students who are not trying. She does give a lot of assignments or "steps" that you must do before you start writing an essay. However, trust her process! Because of her I am a better writer.

I enjoyed her classes and how she pushes us to do better. Usually I get lazy to write a long essay but when I followed her instructions, I get better and now I can write more than 5 pages essay. The only thing that bathers me is that Ms. Dybala takes very long time to grade the essays. If you wanna improve your writing, take her.

Worse professor ever. Makes class and writing papers more complicated than it needs to be. VERY tough grader. Will stress you out beyond measure.

To be honest I never knew about this website. Im returning student, and my last choice to pick was her. Yes, her reviews +, & - are true. But if you do all your assignments youll be fine she will give you a good grade. I expected a C and earned an A, just be patient and polite. I know its hard as a student, but its worth it believe me. 4real!

First, I have to mention that English is not my first language. I tried really hard in her class. Her class is not easy, she gives A LOT of assignments which due every 2 days. Those are "steps" that you must go through and get approved before u can start writing your assay. BUT just follow and stick to those "steps", you will pass. I got an A.

Professor Dybala is a great teacher. She explains topics that you don't understand thoroughly. Just make sure when you don't understand something, ask questions and don't over analyze the question the she gives you either. My class had 2 essays and 1 final essay. If your good at writing and revising then this class will be cake.

Had 3 papers, about 4-5 pages. the essays are basically the whole grade. Really tough grader to some degree. If u suck as writing don't take. But she did help me improve my writing skills. And was funny I liked the way she dressed. Good at writing easy A.

Professor Dybala is a sweet woman. She can be very boring and her lectures drone on and on, but she means well and wants students to succeed. Anyone who failed her class didn't actually try; she literally handholds students through the process of writing with detailed and bulleted lists.

Professor Dybala is a kindhearted person. She mostly reads the assignments we need to do and explains them. I would say I was somewhat bored but not really. I love how she speaks because it's rather elegant and clear. She gives a lot of advice on writing with her outlines. The only issue there was is late grading. I didn't mind tho.

She gave feedback but would take her sweet time to grade some assignments.

Professor Dybala is an amazing teacher one could have. She can be a little strict to grade if certain guidelines aren't fulfilled; but overall she's really informative, helps you out if you ask for extension, and help clear up your doubts.
