Her test questions are pulled directly from her study guides. If you are unclear about something she'll take the time to explain it. Her lectures were so informative and engaging that I hardly studied for any of the tests and walked away with an A.

Awesome teacher. Clearly explains formulas and how to use them to get the correct answer. Show up and take notes in class and you should get at least a B on the test with some studying.

Gives plenty of extra-credit opportunities & willing to help if you need it. STUDY and READ, she puts a lot of effort into her presentations & really cares if you pass or not. Tests are moderately difficult- know your stuff & you'll be fine.

Not that hard. But you can't sleep through the class either. If you fill out the study guides in class (not hard) and then study for a little bit, you'll do fine on the test. Nice teacher, little 'quirky' but funny. She's not strict on attendance, but don't miss tests.

Is a very nice professor, she works hard to help you learn but she does not do a great job at helping you to understand the concepts. If you read her notes and do the study guides she gives out, you should do OK.

I am taking PHY2053 with Ms. Grasso this semester and I find her to be one of the msot caring teachers in PBCC. I have no background in Physics but she is so helpful and is making it so much easier for me to learn. She puts all her notes on ppt and waits for so to finish writing. She is the best.

I love this teacher! She gives you review questions to study for and she goes over all of them in class. The tests are from the review questions and she really knows her stuff. Shes very helpful and will stop lecturing if there is somebody that doesnt understand something. I highly recommend her for AST 1002 and PSC 1341. I made an A and a B

Awesome Professor and class! She gives you review questions and notes in the class. As long as you study BOTH of these items you'll easily get an A! I would 100% recommend her! She really cares about her students and if they do well! We were even let out early to see a magic show! :-)

Awesome class. LOVED the videos. I sat right in front of the screen and flew through outerspace. It's easy because she lays everything out for you clearly. It's up to you from there. Notecards are the way to go for studying! I highly recommend her.

Great professor. Excellent step by step instruction. Very willing to help if you try. Will call you out if your not doing your work. Knows how to crunch her numbers but doesn't get to technical with digits as long as you show the steps.

Great Teacher, would take her again! She's kinda cooky and sings in class, but she's fun and gives you each chapter's review questions, as long as you study the review you'll be fine.

She is a very helpful instructor and lays the class out for you. Textbook use is minimal as long as you write down all of your notes and do the reviews. The test is 90% like the reviews, so if you fail it is your own fault. She has a sense of humor, is personable and cares about her student's place in the world. The perfect teacher for the class.

Cummulative Final Exam (EASY). Barely got an A. Had to study my BUTT off! Prepare to work hard and take PLENTY of notes. Overall, a tough teacher, but a GREAT one!

I am terrible in Science but with Professor Grasso's teaching style it wasn't so bad. You get 5 tests and the lowest one is dropped. you get several extra assignments as well and are added to the lowest after that. Theres also top 10 homework grades. Notes and review sheets are very similar to the test. Take her trust me. You have many ways to pass

Easy and fun. I don't really like science, but she made it very simple and enjoyable. She gives numerous handouts and practice tests to help. There are 5 tests, you drop the lowest one. Just make sure to do the homework, it's easy and counts as a full test grade.

Best professor for sciences. She is extremely knowledgeable about this course. I took her for Earth Science and Astronomy and I got an A+ in both. Study the review sheets she emails and gives out in class and study the practice tests and you can easily get an A on her tests. Drops the lowest test grade so its nice to end the class early. Mrs. Grasso is a great teacher. She has a lot of energy and is very nice. Most of the time she lectures, but occasionally we may have group activities. She usually has one bonus quiz before each test. The tests come from the notes. However, I found that the test reviews that she hands out are more helpful for studying for the actual tests.

YOU DO NOT NEED THE TEXTBOOK, even though she says you do in the beginning. She emails powerpoint slides as notes. That basically turns into your textbook.

She gives tons of extra credit opportunities, there's no reason to fail her classes. I took her for both AST1002 and ESC1000, both classes I had over 100%.

Professor Grasso is an amazing teacher. Crystal clear on all of her lectures. Gives you fill in the blank power points. Tests are easy if you study. SHOW UP TO CLASS. She does not give you anything you missed and tells you to get it from a class mate(usually only on notes)

She gives multiple "quizzes" for easy extra credit. You're exempt from the last (5th) test, which would count as the final, if your grade is high enough by the 4th test, plus you don't have to go to the remaining classes after the 4th test. Her lectures are boring but she gives a study guide that's practically exactly like the test. DONT BUY BOOK.

Just study the practice tests she gives you before the test & you'll be fine. She teaches off of powerpoints, but actually makes class interesting. Shes cool, you'd have to be pretty lazy not to pass this class :/ . All her tests are multiple choice! she also has homeworks, which are usually 5-10qst. & she gives bonus quizzes.

If you have the chance to claim a seat in one of Prof. Grasso's classes, DO IT! Lectures are PowerPoint based and contain everything that will be on the test. She emails you the slides prior to starting a chapter, so be sure to print them out and fill in the blanks as she goes along; this will serve as your defacto text throughout the semester.

Her class is so laid back, yet you will learn a lot more than you're probably expecting. 5 tests, drops the lowest, AND the final is not mandatory if your grade is high enough. Definitely would take her again if I had to, no idea how she has anything lower than a 5.0 on here.

She definitely lectures a lot which can be long and boring but she provides the notes so study them extensively so you're prepared for the tests. She gives plenty of opportunities for extra credit if you aren't satisfied with your grade. Science is not my best subject but I am glad I took her. She's accessible outside of class and understanding.

All you have to do in this class is print out Grasso's power-point slides (she literally emails this to all of her students so check your email!), fill in the blank spots during her lecture and study them. Very good professor, I admit that i did not pass because i did not study or put my all into the course but she is very considerate and very sweet. (Stay on top of your work because there is no extra credit when you fail by the end of the semester) if you pay attention you will pass!

I had taken physics before at Uni and gotten a C, but I received a 100% in her class by showing up, completing the homeworks, and reviewing her powerpoints/handouts before exams.

honestly the only ineffective aspect about Professor Grasso lessons was the inevitability of the end of the period, which I have NEVER been able to say about an ESC class before. it was as if the class just flew by, and I found myself wishing I could stay longer! Professor Grass made sure to address all assignments and exams long before due date

Professor Grassos was a fantastic professor, and I found her tests and quizzes to be very fair and exactly what we did in class. We are only graded on 6 quizzes and 5 tests, but she drops the lowest. She made reviews for the tests which were very similar to the test, so if you study those youll do great. Also, study the powerpoints!
