She is a nice teacher. If you show up on time she will give you a lot of bonus points. Also she lets you do test corrections. Take her for business calculus.

I have taken her for my Business Calculus course last semester, and I learned a lot from her class! I have received a perfect score (10/10) on all of my homework assignments, received all As on all of my unit tests, and we get extra points added to our homework grade for pointing out mistakes! Recommended for those who want an easy A in calculus!

First calculus class I've ever taken. She won't continue the subject matter if the class doesn't seem like they understand. She's really helpful, and is usually in the lab. She's nice and I think she does a good job of testing students only on material she's covered. Take this class if you understand practical applications.

In internet algebra, Kohrmann was extremely helpful and very quick to respond to all e-mails. She provided all the information and updates necessary in an internet course. With her co-operation I was able to complete the entire course shortly after mid-terms.

Mrs. Kohrmann is a great teacher, she will go out of her way to help you by email for this online coll alg.class It does cover too much material (very time consuming), thats why northlake only offers 10 week summer classes whereas richland has 4 week summer classes for college algebra, you want to be an algebra expert, then this is the class.

I took the online self paced course for ALG 1314 and the system they use works pretty well. Stay disciplined and do the work on a schedlue and you'll be fine. I would definitely recommend Mrs. Kohrmann. She really cares about her students and is fair. She is able to explain how things work and make you understand how to do the math.

By far the greatest professor I have had the pleasure of studying under. If you are going to be taking upper level math courses (or even dmat) grab either Kohrmann or Villerreal. They teach identically and they are AMAZING teachers. If you are not a math natural you will still need to work at it but they are definitely helpful

Mrs. Kohrmann is the greatest Math teacher of all time, just take her don't even think about it. she is very helpful and will do everything she can to make sure you pass her class. She is a good professor who most of the time drifts off while in class. She also gives good examples for your notes. You have online homework & practice tests. You have 2 tests taken in the testing center & 1 taken at home; the final exam was composed of the last 2 chapters. You have to show effort to receive the grade you wanna receive. :)

I took her for College Algebra and Trigonometry, she's simply AMAZING. She is extremely helpful, and makes everything seem so easy. Fantastic Trig teacher! Cares, will use real life examples. Do the work, come to class, use the ask my instructor tab in online homework if you need help, she will often do the problem in class. Meets with students often!

Mrs. Korhmann is an awesome professor. I struggle with made, but she has a way of breaking down the material to where it is understandable. If you don't have time for homework, do not take this class. I encourage doing the extra credit assignments, she awards 5 additional points on the exam, she really cares about her students. I absolutely loved professor Kohrmann's class. We got everything done but we were still able to enjoy our time in her classroom. We had some homework, the test were done in class in class mainly, and we had group class work. She believe in everyone participating and no one being left out. She also give great extra credit!

The Homework might be a little tough, but it makes the exams look like elementary math. I've had a great semester and I'm taking her again for future math courses. Best professor in NLC, hands down. You better register quick too, her classes fill fast.

I have always struggled in math, making an A in the course. It is a lot of work, but for any college level math course you can expect at least 3 hours of study time per hour of lecture. The professor does an amazing job of explaining the material and if you show up and put in the work, she goes an extra thousand miles for each student.

Guided Notes, Homework, Practice test, & Chapter Test can be tedious, but they ensure you know the material well by Midterms and Finals. Self-Taught classes are a part-time job, so effort is key to success. Online and campus resources exist if you get stuck. Prof is helpful and responsive to email. :) Solid choice if you can work on your own.

I took Professor Kohrmann's class online for Trig. Her class demands a lot of time, so if you're not willing to put in the effort, you will not be successful. While homework and notes must be filled out, you can turn these in with your Written Tests for extra credit. I learned the material in her class and would gladly take her again.

I took MATH 1314 with professor Kohrmann and let me tell you, her class is definitely worth taking. She responds to your emails immediately, gives great feedback on exams, and is there to help whenever it's needed. Make sure you're on top of your work though but overall a great Professor. I would recommend this class to anyone.

I am an older student who forgot a lot of math, and wanted to learn it again. I took INET 1316 (Trig) in the Spring 2017 semester, and thought it was great. The homework required a significant amount of time, but Mrs. Kohrmann kept in regular touch with the class and was always available to help. I learned a lot, and recommend the class.

Extra credit: Service learning and going up the white board to answer a question. Total of 5 test: one take home test, but the rest are taken in class. Homework is 20%. If you need help with ANYTHING she WILL help you! Don't be afraid to reachout to her when you don't understad ANYTHING, SHE WILL HELP YOU!!! BEST math teacher I have ever taken!!!

Took the online class over summer and passed. Math is a very hard subject for me and Mrs. Kohrmann was great. Easy to correspond with via email, and a great help when I got behind. I did poorly on my mid-term but was able to re-take it and almost doubled my grade. Wish some of the video example on mylabs were better but that is nothing with prof.

I took Prof. Kohrmann's eight-week Trigonometry course and she was fantastic. There was a lot of ground to cover, but she was greatly helpful in explaining any difficult concepts both in class and through emails. If you study hard, ask questions, and attend her class, you will definitely do well with her and she will remember your diligence.

There was a lot of homework during that short time, but if complete the homework, attend class, and ask questions on anything you do not understand, you will succeed in her classes!

Professor Kohrmann really helped me out this last semester. I was having a tough time outside of class and she was very flexible and worked with me. There's homework but the tests are only 13-15 questions long. She also gives extra credit points to students who try questions she puts on the board, even if you get it wrong.

This was my first semester in college and I was very nervous for this class because it had been a while since I've had taken any math. Mrs. Kohrmann explained the sections very well and always offered help and made sure we knew what kind of resources we had. I'm looking forward to having her again!

Professor Kohrmann did an outstanding job teaching precalulus online. She genuinely cares for each of her students, checks up on you every week to see if you need help. She goes over all you need to be prepared for calculus 1. She goes over all critical concepts from college algebra and trig, and her main focus is you being prepared.

I took her pre-calc class online due to the pandemic. She is amazing, she did a great job transferring to online learning. She explains in great detail, and help you with concepts or gaps that you have needed for Calc. Overall she's a caring teacher; she will do anything she can to help you fill in the gaps as long as you have the desire to learn.

All reviews are true about her, she's a real gem. I was always scared of math, but she has taught me so well I feel very confident going in to the Calculus. Just do as she says and you'll get an A and will be ready for calc. I love you Mrs. K :)

Take notes, these are 30% to the final grade! You get 30 points of final grade for free if you do notes! You'll be good if you take part in her lecture meeting. I take all my tests seriously and super carefully so I get 99, 100, 100 foe each test and 100 for all homework. These are all the grade work concerns! You can make it!

The best math prof at NLC! She pours everything she has into her class, LOVES to answer questions, and really cares about you. Her lectures make all the math so clear. She has real-world experience to connect math concepts to, and she gives great life advice. Gives extra credit, always willing to help students. Easy A? Nah. Worth it? Absolutely.

Professor Kohrmann is one of the best math professors I have ever had. Her lectures are definitely worth watching. This is where she explains the reason why we learn certain topics using real-life scenarios of when Trig can be seen in potential stem career paths. She really prepares her students for physics, pre-cal, and calc 1.

Amazing teacher, 100% would take again

Professor Kohrmann has been my favorite professor thus far. They really care about their students' success. She is so knowledgeable and is always ready to help if you need extra help. The tests are webcam-based, but you can use one notecard during tests. Lectures and notes are easy to follow. I would suggest taking this class. :)

Professor Kohrmann's precalculus class was challenging but rewarding. She's dedicated and ensures students are prepared for Calculus. unstuck study was a great study aid alongside the textbook.
